Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the methods, the inhibiting factors  in the process of forming students'  Islamic character and the solutions used as a reference  in the formation of students'  Islamic character  in private junior high schools  in Binjai City. The method of this research s to use qualitative research methods  in order to reveal  in depth data and facts about the formation of the  Islamic character of students  in private junior high schools throughout the City of Binjai. Data collection techniques using  interviews, observation, and document review. Then the data were analyzed by data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of this study are that the formation of the  Islamic character of students s taken from two schools,  inamely Al Kaffah Binjai  integrated  Islamic Middle School and Binjai PABA Middle School, each school has a method of forming students'  Islamic character. However,  in essence the methods used by each school are closely related to the formation of the  Islamic character of students. The methods used are giving advice, getting used to good morals, exemplary, Targhib and Tarhib, stories, and parables. in carrying out these methods,  inhibiting factors were also found  in the formation of  Islamic character of students.  inhibiting factors that occur due to the lack of religious education  in the family, unfavorable environment, lack of awareness of students to carry out conditions related to religion and rampant  information from social media. The solution to these  inhibiting factors s to prepare professional educators, create a good environment, complete  infrastructure, and create  intra-curricular and extra-curricular programs as supports  in the formation of  Islamic character of students at Al Kaffah Binjai  integrated  Islamic Middle School and Binjai PABA Middle School.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis: (1) pengembangan modul PAI berbasis nilai moral al-Karimah untuk meningkatkan karakter religius siswa, (2) kelayakan modul PAI berbasis nilai moral Al-Karimah untuk meningkatkan karakter religius siswa, (3) kepraktisan modul PAI berbasis nilai moral karima meningkatkan kualitas religius siswa, dan (4) efektivitas modul PAI berbasis nilai moral karima meningkatkan kualitas religius siswa. karakter siswa Metode penelitian menggunakan model Sugi Yono untuk memperluas Penelitian. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII SMP. Produk yang dikembangkan adalah modul PAI yang telah diverifikasi kelayakannya oleh ahli desain, ahli materi dan praktisi pendidikan. kepraktisan dan efektivitas kemudian diuji. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Modul pembelajaran yang dikembangkan adalah modul PAI berbasis nilai-nilai akhlak al-karimah untuk meningkatkan karakter religius siswa SMP, (2) Modul pendidikan Islam berbasis nilai-nilai akhlak al-karimah. Nilai moral karimah telah diverifikasi oleh ahli materi, ahli media dan praktisi pendidikan, dan hasil verifikasi menunjukkan rata-rata skor dalam kategori sangat efektif adalah 3,51, sehingga modul ini layak untuk pembelajaran PAI, (3) Berdasarkan Modul PAI tentang al-Pengembangan nilai akhlak karimah dengan skor 3,29 pada kategori praktis dari sisi siswa dan 3,31 pada kategori praktis dari sisi guru dan (4) berdasarkan pengembangan nilai akhlak al-karimah Modul PAI terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pencapaian kualitas keagamaan siswa dengan koefisien N-Gain sebesar 0,32 Kategori Sedang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi supervisi manajerial dalam meningkatkan kinerja sekolah di SMA Negeri 1 Tanjungbalai. Adapun Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Pengumpulan data penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan kegiatan supervisi manajerial dalam meningkatkan kinerja sekolah dengan melakukan supervisi langsung dan supervisi tidak langsung. Supervisi langsung dengan bentuk teguran atau bimbingan. Dan observasi tidak langsung dengan cara  mensupervisi  dari  laporan-laporan. Upaya yang dilakukan supervisi manajerial dalam meningkatkan kinerja sekolah dengan penentuan berbagai kebijakan yang diperlukan, pembaharuan jalan keluar berbagai permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh seluruh pegawainya dan menyediakan sarana dan prasarana bagi pengembangan sekolah. Faktor pendukung supervisi manajerial dalam meningkatkan kinerja sekolah adanya kesadaran dari para pegawai administrasi di sekolah untuk meningkatkan kinerja mereka. Dan faktor penghambat dari supervisi manajerial dalam meningkatkan kinerja sekolah adalah belum banyaknya bentuk-bentuk pelatihan untuk pegawai   serta masih adanya sarana yang belum maksimal.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the strategy of the madrasah principal in empowering the community to improve the quality of the madrasah, the role and cooperation of the madrasah principal with the committee in improving the quality of education and the empowerment of the Madrasah Committee in improving the quality of education at the Private Junior High School of the Sei Islamic Education Foundation. Tualang Raso, Tanjungbalai City. The method used in this study is a qualitative method. The technique used in analyzing the data is to record data from interviews and observations. The findings of the study illustrate that the empowerment of the madrasah committee, especially in relation to improving the quality of madrasah education, has not taken place as expected, the empowerment efforts are only temporary, and the cooperative relationship between the madrasah principal and the committee is going well, meaning that there are no problems that arise so that both have a harmonious relationship and the School Committee is an independent body and does not have a hierarchical relationship with schools or other government institutions. Supporting factors in efforts to empower the madrasah committee in improving the quality of education are carried out by the madrasah principal by maximizing the functions and duties of the committee at school.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the implementation of SBM at Darul Fikri IT Middle School, Tanjungbalai City, which includes education staff management, student management, curriculum management, facilities and infrastructure management, financial management, and relationship management with the community. This research uses qualitative research using descriptive methods. Data obtained from SMP IT Darul Fikri. Meanwhile, the data collection technique in the research is the interview method. Secondary data or data reinforcement obtained using observation and documentation methods whose data sources are from the Principal and staff at Darul Fikri IT Middle School, Tanjungbalai City. Data analysis begins by collecting all data from various sources, checking the validity of the data, presenting the data and verifying the data using triangulation techniques. The results of the research show that the results of the implementation of school-based management at SMP IT Darul Fikri, Tanjungbalai City have gone quite well, although in its implementation there are still many obstacles and obstacles in each component of the school management sector, but this has become a motivation for the school to bring out school creativity in developing programs that are more in line with the needs and potential of schools in order to improve the quality of education in schools.

Abstract

This article aims to reveal how Managerial Supervision improves Teacher Discipline at SMP Negeri 1 Simpang Empat. This research uses qualitative research, with research examining directly in the field. The data collection techniques used by researchers were interviews and observations with teachers and documentation carried out by researchers in the field in order to strengthen the validity of the research data. The results of these findings include five findings: 1) Managerial supervision at SMP Negeri 1 Simpang Empat has been carried out well and in accordance with the goals and roles of the managers themselves, 2) Teacher discipline at the school is in the disciplined category. 3) the driving and inhibiting factors for teacher discipline in this school. Almost all the information that researchers have obtained is that there are two factors, namely from the individual himself (internal) and from leaders, co-workers or other demands (external). 4) Managerial supervision in improving teacher discipline at SMP Negeri 1 Simpang Empat has had very good implications, with the supervision carried out by the principal of teachers. 5) In implementing managerial supervision, school principals have their own steps in controlling the discipline of teaching staff with persuasive actions.
