Abstract

Abstract

The structure is not only a construction element, but also can give birth to the aesthetics of the building. The beauty in these structures is called tectonics. The Wiswakarma Museum is a building that has beauty in its structure, so it has the potential to be explored using a tectonic approach. The tectonic concept applied using wood as the main material is called wood tectonics. Wood tectonics is a building construction system that uses wood materials and can produce an aesthetic appearance. The problem raised in this research is how to apply the concept of wood tectonic at the Wiswakarma Museum. This research was conducted with the aim of revealing the application of wood tectonics at the Wiswakarma Museum by paying attention to tectonic aspects (principle of stability, principle of strength/rigidity/rigid, principle of balance, principle of visual aesthetics of tectonic structures, and flow of load acceptance). This study uses a qualitative method that is descriptive or descriptive analysis that describes the tectonics of wood at the Wiswakarma Museum. The final result of this research is a study of wood tectonics at the Wiswakarma Museum so that later they can understand the tectonic aspects of the Wiswakarma Museum.

Abstract

Environmental problems, notably global warming, have recently emerged as a source of concern. In the world of architecture, there is a phenomenon known as "sick building syndrome," which refers to health and discomfort issues caused by poor air quality and air pollution in an occupied building, which affects residential productivity. There is also a lack of natural lighting and poor air ventilation. In addition to the existence of global warming, the development or invention of renewable energy becomes the impetus for the development of green buildings. As more people become interested in green building, timber materials become a viable option for creating a long-lasting structure. Wood has long been regarded as a sustainable material and a renewable resource. Wood may be protected in the forest by collecting naturally growing wood resources and following harvesting standards. Eco - friendly construction materials are required to decrease energy consumption, emissions, and trash or garbage in order to maintain a healthy and comfortable environment on the planet.

Abstract

Gerokgak Dam has the potential to be developed into a tourist area based on the Buleleng Regency Perda which regulates the RTRW which is discussed in regulation No. 9 of 2013. The main function of the Gerokgak dam is to irrigate rice fields and plantations during the dry season. Over time, the tourism sector began to grow naturally. Gerokgak Dam has natural potential, cultivation, and water tourism. However, the land use pattern in the Gerokgak dam area does not yet have a zoning system so that there is no division of tourist activity zones that meet the requirements both in terms of architecture and security. This is related to efforts to reduce disaster risk in dam tourism areas. The purpose of this design is to design a tourist facility for the Gerokgak dam that meets the requirements in terms of comfort, safety, and architecture. This design uses an environmental approach with a design concept, namely the connectivity of nature and buildings, realized with the theme of eco-architecture. Data collection methods in the form of literature studies, field observations, interviews and data presentation methods, namely data compilation and classification. The results of the research are the segmentation of the area into several zones that consider the level of risk & area characteristics, namely: the supporting zone (green zone), and the main zone (built zone). The design design criteria include aspects of safety, security, comfort, and beauty, so that land use in the Gerokgak dam area takes into account these limiting factors.
