Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan yang bertujuan untuk memudahkan dan mengembangkan minat siswa terhadap pembelajaran matematika serta melatih keterampilan berbicara. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa SD Islam di Surabaya. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini dalam proses tahapannya hanya sampai tahap kevalidan. Dimana kevalidan tersebut telah dilakukan validasi terhadap tiga validator.Hasil penelitian dan pengembangan ini berhasil mengembangkan sebuah media pembelajaran Pookemon yang telah diuji kevalidannya oleh para validator dan telah dilakukan revisi dan beberapa perbaikan yang diberikan oleh para validator. Hasil validator pertama media pembelajaran tersebut mendapatkan skor 85%; validator kedua 77,5%; validator ketiga 95%. Dimana skor tersebut memiliki kriteria dalam penelitian dan pengembangan media pembelajaran yang telah dikembangkan,kriteria dari skor validator pertama adalah “Sangat Baik”; validator kedua “Baik”; validator ketiga “Sangat Baik”. Maka dari ketiga hasil validasi yang telah diberikan dapat di rata-rata dan disimpulkan media pookemon yang telah dikembangkan mendapatkan skor 86% dimana skor tersebut masuk dalam kriteria “Sangat Baik”. Dengan demikian media pembelajaran pookemon yang telah dikembangkan dapat dikatakan telah valid dan masuk dalam kriteria “Sangat Baik”.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Sosial Emosional (PSE) telah menjadi elemen penting dalam pendidikan, karena dengan adanya keterampilan sosial dan emosional merupakan kunci pokok bagi kesuksesan siswa di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan PSE dalam domain pendidikan khususnya motivasi peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan menganalisis berbagai sumber dari buku, jurnal yang tercantum di Google Scholar dan Sciencedirect yang diterbitkan dari tahun 2021 sampai dengan 2024. Didapat total artikel sebanyak 443.868. Berdasarkan panduan PRISMA 2021 terdapat 14 artikel dipertimbangkan untuk tinjauan mendalam. Limitasi pada kajian yang dipilih terhadap penelitian yang menerbitkan jurnal peer reviewed menunjukkan bahwa implementasi PSE memiliki dampak positif terhadap peningkatan motivasi peserta didik, yang terlihat dalam peningkatan keterlibatan akademis, keterampilan sosial, dan kesejahteraan psikologis. Implementasi PSE juga berkorelasi dengan peningkatan prestasi sekolah. Namun, terdapat tantangan dalam implementasi PSE, termasuk minimnya sumber daya dan kebutuhan akan pelatihan guru yang lebih intens. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa PSE merupakan pendekatan yang efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi peserta didik dan perlu diintegrasikan secara lebih luas dalam sistem pendidikan Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the use of the Wordwall platform as an interactive learning media in increasing the motivation to learn mathematics of grade II students at SDN Sungai Bambu 01. In the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, technological advances have a major impact on various aspects, including education, which requires educators to take advantage of technology in learning. Interesting and interactive media is proven to help overcome common problems in education, namely low student interest and motivation to learn, especially in mathematics lessons which are often considered monotonous. This research uses descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques such as observation, questionnaire, and literature study to obtain data related to the effectiveness of Wordwall. The results show that Wordwall is able to increase students' participation and motivation to learn, which can be seen from their activeness, enthusiasm, and courage to ask questions and actively participate in the learning process. By using Wordwall media, the learning environment becomes more dynamic, fun and conducive, thus contributing positively to students' understanding and interest in mathematics materials. This research contributes to the development of technology-based learning media and suggests educators to integrate Wordwall in learning activities to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the teaching-learning process.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to determine the effect of using Domino Cards in increasing elementary school students' English vocabulary. Along with the rapid development of technology and new innovations, there are many teaching media that can be used to help teachers make learning more interesting and flexible. In this research, researchers used qualitative research methods. The data collection technique is in the form of literature study by reading several previously published scientific journal references. The research results showed that the use of domino cards had a positive impact on increasing students' mastery of English vocabulary. Thus, the use of domino cards as a teaching medium has proven to be effective in helping students improve their English vocabulary. This research suggests making clear instructions when applying teaching media such as the domino cards game so that it can make it easier for students in the learning process.

Abstract

Critical thinking skills are one of the main skills that students must have in the 21st century to be able to face problems in real life. However, in reality, students' critical thinking skills are still relatively low due to the monotonous teaching and learning process, the less than optimal use of learning media, and the learning media used are only conventional media and have not utilized technology as a learning medium that is in accordance with the development of current technological advances, so that it can actively involve students in the learning process to improve students' critical thinking skills. This study aims to examine the improvement of elementary school students' critical thinking skills through the development of interactive learning media using the project based learning (PJBL) learning model. The research method used is a literature study of journal articles related to interactive learning media, project based learning (PJBL) learning models and critical thinking skills. The data analysis technique used is qualitative analysis. The results of the study show that interactive learning media using the project based learning (PJBL) model is effective in improving elementary school students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

The development of effective assessment instruments is an important element in the learning process, especially to support the achievement of educational goals. In the context of mathematics learning, especially in trigonometric comparison material, well-designed assessment instruments can help students develop critical thinking and problem solving skills. The aim of this research is to analyze the need for developing a website-based trigonometry comparison problem solving ability assessment instrument. The research method used is a qualitative method. The research subjects were mathematics teachers and MA students in one of the Ogan Komering Ilir districts. The research instruments used were teacher interviews, observations, and distributing questionnaires to students to determine the needs analysis for developing website-based problem solving ability instruments. Data were analyzed descriptively based on the results of interviews, observations and questionnaires. The research found that teachers do not yet have a CBT Web-based instrument for assessing their trigonometry comparison problem solving abilities. Teachers realize the importance of developing CBT Web-based problem-solving ability assessment instruments, but are constrained by not having the ability to develop CBT Web-based problem-solving ability instruments. The majority of students also realize the importance of a CBT Web-based trigonometry comparison problem-solving ability assessment instrument. Therefore, it can be concluded that it is necessary to develop a CBT Web-based instrument for assessing the ability to solve trigonometry comparison problems for MA students.

Abstract

This study was conducted due to the low ability to write syllables in the early grades of class 1 SDN Gayamsari 02 Semarang City with 28 students as subjects. Initial observations conducted at the pre-learning stage showed that many students had difficulty in writing syllables correctly. This study aims to: (1) describe the application of the Sergu Board, (2) Describe the results of the Sergu Board effectiveness test in learning to write syllables with the synectic model. Research methodology using the mix method. Research Results: (a) Implementing the Sergu Board in Learning Steps with the Synectic Model: Stage 1: Students are asked to describe a condition. Stage 2: Students are asked to make a direct analogy. Stage 3: Students are asked to make a personal analogy. Stage 4: The teacher asks questions that are dilemmatic/conflict. Stage 5: Students are asked to make further analogies. Stage 6: Students review the results of the analogy and learning assignments. (b) Results of the Sergu Board effectiveness test in learning to write syllables with the synectic model. Showing an increase in the average value of skills up 61% and the average value of creativity up 30% compared to the average value last year. The application of the synectic model based on the Sergu Board creates a creative and enjoyable learning atmosphere, thereby increasing student participation and literacy skills. This study concludes that the synectic model based on the Sergu Board is effective in improving syllable writing skills in grade I students.

Abstract

Education is one of the important sectors that must be considered by the government of developing countries such as Indonesia. The progress of education will not be separated from the role of teachers as the spearhead of education. However, teacher performance can be influenced by several factors, including the principal's leadership, the environment in which teachers work, and their work experience. In addition, the self-efficacy of teachers can also have an influence either directly or as a mediation of other factors. This study aims to examine the effect of leadership, work environment, and work experience on teacher performance with self-efficacy as an intervening variable. This research is a quantitative study with a correlational design. The sample used in this study amounted to 292 respondents selected by purposive sampling technique from the population of public junior high school teachers in Temanggung Regency. Data were collected through questionnaires and processed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method with the WarpPLS analysis tool. This study concluded that leadership, work environment, and self-efficacy directly affect teacher performance, while work experience does not directly affect teacher performance. Leadership, work environment, and work experience affect self-efficacy. As for the indirect effect, self-efficacy does not mediate the effect of leadership, work environment, and work experience.

Abstract

Instructional media play a vital role in assisting teachers to facilitate effective learning and achieve educational goals. At SDIT Ibnu Yunsi Kota Binjai, however, the existing teaching materials are considered insufficiently engaging, which negatively affects the learning process and contributes to low student performance. Preliminary investigations reveal that students’ academic abilities remain relatively low. This study aims to design and develop digital comic-based learning media that integrates a deep learning approach to enhance students’ academic achievement, particularly in the Indonesian language subject. The research adopts a development methodology based on the Borg and Gall model. Data were collected through interviews, questionnaires, and classroom observations. The participants involved were fourth-grade students from SDIT Ibnu Yunsi Kota Binjai, along with the digital media and instructional content created. The media was evaluated by both media and subject matter experts, who rated it as highly accessible and user-friendly. Validation and field-testing results demonstrated that the media significantly improved students’ learning outcomes, with an effectiveness rate reaching 90%. Therefore, the study concludes that the deep learning-oriented digital comic media developed is highly suitable as a teaching aid for Indonesian language instruction at the elementary school level.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the difficulties students face in understanding abstract and complex solar system material at the elementary school level. The purpose of this study was to develop interactive digital learning mediabasedon3D augmented reality (AR) to improve students' cognitive abilities through differentiated learning. The development model used was ADDIE, which consists of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data collection was conducted through expert validation, teacher and student questionnaires, and pretest and post test assessments to measure learning outcomes. Validation was performed by two media experts and three subjectmatter experts, followed by a pilot test with sixth-grade students at SD Negeri 1 Bandung. The research findings indicate that the developed 3D AR media falls in to the highly suitable category based on expert evaluations, is practical base don user feedback, and is effective in improving students' cognitive learning outcomes. These findings indicate that the integration of AR technology in differentiated learning can enhance student engagement, facilitate visual concept understanding, and support more meaningful learning at the elementary school level
