Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kesulitan siswa dalam memahami materi Tata Surya yang bersifat abstrak dan kompleks di tingkat sekolah dasar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran digital interaktif berbasis Augmented Reality (AR) 3D guna meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif siswa melalui pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah ADDIE, yang terdiri atas lima tahap: analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui validasi ahli, angket guru dan siswa, serta tes pretest dan posttest untuk mengukur hasil belajar. Validasi dilakukan oleh dua ahli media dan tiga ahli materi, kemudian diuji cobakan pada siswa kelas VI di SD Negeri 1 Bandung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media AR 3D yang dikembangkan berada dalam kategori sangat layak berdasarkan penilaian para ahli, praktis berdasarkan respon pengguna, dan efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi teknologi AR dalam pembelajaran berdiferensiasi mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa, memfasilitasi pemahaman konsep secara visual, dan mendukung pembelajaran yang lebih bermakna di tingkat sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to develop teaching materials in the form of picture storybooks based on ecological literacy to improve critical thinking skills of elementary school students. The development model used is ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). This research is motivated by the lack of innovative learning media that can connect ecological issues with Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) learning. The research subjects were 50 fifth-grade students at Al Ikhlas Islamic Elementary School who were divided into an experimental group and a control group. The validation process involved five media experts and five material experts, while the practicality test involved 15 teachers and 25 students. The validation results showed that the picture storybook obtained the "Very Appropriate" category with an average score of 4.61 in the media aspect and 4.43 in the material aspect. The practicality test also showed a positive response with a practicality level of 86.43% which is included in the "Practical" category. In terms of effectiveness, the results of the N-Gain analysis showed an increase in critical thinking skills of 23.10% in the experimental group, much higher than the control group which only increased by 6.08%. Although this increase is categorized as "Low," it is statistically significant. This is demonstrated by a t-test with a significance value of 0.002 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference between the two groups. This research makes an important contribution to elementary education, particularly in providing contextual learning media that are not only engaging but also foster environmental awareness. By integrating ecological literacy into picture storybooks, students gain a more meaningful learning experience and are trained to develop critical thinking skills. These findings confirm that media based on environmental contexts can be an innovative alternative to support a more effective learning process.

Abstract

Observation results show the moral degradation of students that occurs in the world of education, such as bullying, violence, and a hedonistic lifestyle that is starting to spread. A sense of nationalism and understanding local culture is not necessary because students tend to be interested in foreign culture. The incoming foreign culture slowly erodes national identity, making students forget the applicable norms and ethics as well as the cultural values ​​taught. The aim of this research is to analyze the implementation of the Project for Strengthening the Profile of Pancasila Students (P5) independent curriculum with the theme of local wisdom in strengthening the character of students in elementary schools, obstacles, and alternative solutions. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach. Looking at the problem formulation and the objectives to be achieved, the researcher used a qualitative research method, case study type. The presence of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) is a defense so that values, traditions, and culture become a fortress to strengthen the character of students so that they are not eroded by negative cultures.

Abstract

Teachers must be able to develop learning media that are relevant to the times and cognitive development of students. The purpose of this research is to see how android-based learning media is developed and implemented in elementary school learning and how feasible the media is after going through the validation test. This research uses the literature review research method which is part of the qualitative method. This research was conduct by reviewing articles from Google Scholar using Publish or Perish using the keywords “Android-Based Learning Media Development”, the period 2020-2024, the type of journal publication, and with 100 search results which were then selected and resulted in 6 articles that were included in the focus and research criteria. The research concluded that android-based learning media can be developed using three research and development models which are ADDIE, DDDD, and Borg & Gall. The percentage of research and and development models used is ADDIE (50%), DDDD (33%), and Borg & Gall (17%). Based on the review of all articles, it is concluded that the android-based learning media that were developed are feasible to be implemented in the teaching and learning process in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the role of pop-up books in improving elementary school students' writing skills. It employs the Systematic Literature Review Method, specifically designed to collect, assess, and analyze findings from various studies relevant to a specific research topic. The reviewed literature shows that pop-up books offer a novel solution in Indonesian language learning by presenting information interactively and engagingly through three-dimensional elements. The study's results indicate that pop-up books are effective in enhancing students' writing skills. Therefore, the use of pop-up books can be a solution for improving writing skills in elementary school students.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the effectiveness of using digital technology in increasing students' learning motivation. In today's digital era, technology has become an integral part of the learning process, which has a significant impact on the way students access information and interact with learning material. This research uses a quantitative approach with an experimental design to measure changes in student learning motivation after implementing digital technology in the learning process. The research subjects consisted of students in several junior high schools who were divided into two groups, namely an experimental group that used digital technology and a control group that used conventional learning methods. Data was collected through questionnaires filled out by students before and after implementing digital technology. The research results show that the use of digital technology can significantly increase students' learning motivation, especially in terms of interest and involvement in learning. By using interesting and interactive digital media, students become more active and motivated to learn. This research provides the implication that the appropriate use of digital technology can be an effective tool in increasing student learning motivation in the current era of digital education.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how computer-based national assessments assess educational progress in Indonesia, This research uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach The data collection technique is in the form of books, notes and journal articles, while the data analysis technique uses content analysis techniques which focus on actual content and internal media features. The research results show Transformation of the education evaluation system from the National Examination (UN) to a more comprehensive (ANBK). Positive adaptation of Indonesian education to technological developments, with a shift from paper-based to computer-based systems. The suitability of ANBK with efforts to develop the 4C (Critical Thinking, Communication, Collaboration, Creativity) competencies needed in the era of the industrial revolution. The implication of this research is The implementation of the Computer-Based National Assessment (ANBK) in the education evaluation system in Indonesia has a number of important implications. In terms of educational practice, ANBK demands strengthening technological infrastructure in schools and increasing digital competence for teachers and students. From the perspective of policy makers, regular monitoring and evaluation as well as efforts to equalize access to technology are crucial. In the research realm, studies of the impact of ANBK on learning quality, comparative research with evaluation systems in other countries, as well as the development of more comprehensive technology integration models need to be carried out to optimize the effectiveness and sustainability of the education evaluation system in Indonesia

Abstract

In the current era of education, teachers are faced with demands to optimize the potential, creativity, interests and talents of each student in various existing social changes. This research was conducted to provide better insight into how social change can affect education and vice versa. The method used in this research is the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) by analyzing articles through article identification, filtering, and inclusion. The articles used were articles published between 2014 and 2024 and 80 articles were found to be relevant. After conducting a thorough analysis, the researcher decided to examine 7 articles. The results obtained are that education plays an important role in shaping and directing social change. Education not only prepares individuals to adapt to social dynamics, but also maintains the preservation of existing cultural and social values. The impact of social change can be positive or negative. Adaptive education is able to direct social change towards progress and a better quality of life, while failure to adapt can lead to social decline.

Abstract

The results of a survey by the OJK in 2022 stated that the financial literacy knowledge of the Indonesian population reached 49.68% (Krisdayanthi & Wijaya, 2023) The importance of financial literacy education in primary schools to direct students to understand, assess and act on their financial well-being (Ishmuhametov & Kuzmina-Merlino, 2017; Maulana & Kurniasih, 2021). This article aims to present information about the implementation of financial literacy learning in elementary schools. The method used in this study is PRISMA (Preferred Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis) which consists of three steps, namely identification, screening, and inclusion. The number of articles found is 16,400 articles from 2020 to 2024. Based on the PRISMA 2021 guide, there are 14 articles considered for in-depth review. The limitations of the selected studies on peer-reviewed journals show that the implementation of financial literacy in elementary schools has a positive impact on developing students' awareness of financial management, which can be seen as an increase in understanding and knowledge about financial literacy. So it can be concluded that the implementation of financial literacy is very important to be carried out in elementary schools.

Abstract

Current technological developments have a significant impact on education, especially in the preparation of teaching materials that support 21st century skills, namely the critical thinking aspect. One of the relevant approaches is the application of the TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge) framework in the development of teaching materials. TPACK integrates technology, pedagogy, content and knowledge to create interactive and relevant learning. This study aims to review the use of TPACK in science teaching materials in elementary schools and how its application affects students' critical thinking skills. Using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, the researcher identified 25 articles from 2018 to 2024, which are relevant to the theme of developing TPACK-based science teaching materials. Based on the results of the analysis, it is shown that TPACK-based teaching materials are effective in improving students' understanding of scientific concepts. From various studies, it is proven that the TPACK model can support and enrich learning through the use of interactive digital media. Based on the description above, it can be concluded that the development of TPACK-based teaching materials in basic education can improve the quality of science learning and improve students' critical thinking skills.
