Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi tantangan manajerial dan strategi optimalisasi dalam pengelolaan dana Bantuan Operasional Sekolah (BOS) dan Bantuan Operasional Penyelenggaraan (BOP) di Sekolah Raudatul Amin. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik purposive sampling untuk menentukan informan yang relevan, seperti kepala sekolah, bendahara, guru, dan komite sekolah. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi langsung, wawancara mendalam semi-terstruktur, dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan dengan teknik triangulasi untuk memastikan validitas data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen sekolah menghadapi tantangan seperti keterbatasan anggaran yang rigid, dilema dalam pengambilan keputusan, pengendalian keuangan yang rentan kesalahan administrasi, pelaksanaan program yang kurang optimal, dan pengawasan eksternal yang minim. Meskipun demikian, sekolah mampu mengembangkan strategi efektif melalui penerapan skala prioritas ketat, efisiensi biaya operasional, transparansi internal, optimalisasi sumber daya, dan peningkatan kolaborasi dengan komite sekolah. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa dalam konteks sosial tertentu, kepercayaan masyarakat yang tinggi terhadap manajemen sekolah dapat berfungsi sebagai kontrol sosial informal yang efektif meskipun tingkat pengawasan formal rendah. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi penting bagi penguatan manajemen keuangan pendidikan yang berbasis pada konteks sosial dan budaya sekolah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi kebijakan efisiensi anggaran Bantuan Operasional Sekolah/Bantuan Operasional Pendidikan (BOS/BOP) di RA Raudhatul Amin serta implikasinya terhadap kualitas layanan pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik purposive sampling. Subjek penelitian meliputi kepala RA, bendahara BOS/BOP, guru, dan komite sekolah yang dipilih karena dinilai memahami secara mendalam pengelolaan dana pendidikan di lembaga tersebut. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi langsung, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan teknik analisis interaktif yang mencakup reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan efisiensi anggaran berdampak pada pergeseran prioritas pengelolaan dana dan pembatasan skala kegiatan yang dapat dilaksanakan. Sekolah tetap mampu menjalankan pembelajaran inti sesuai kurikulum, namun pengadaan alat peraga edukatif dan media pembelajaran baru menjadi terbatas. Strategi adaptasi yang diterapkan mencakup optimalisasi dana infaq, inovasi media pembelajaran berbahan daur ulang, penyesuaian skala kegiatan prioritas, dan penguatan kolaborasi dengan orang tua serta lembaga eksternal. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya kreativitas, partisipasi komunitas, dan manajemen yang adaptif dalam menjaga mutu layanan pendidikan di tengah keterbatasan anggaran.

Abstract

This paper analyzes the social and cultural values represented in the film Farha using Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotic approach. The film Farha portrays the life of Palestinian society before and during colonization through the perspective of a young girl struggling to survive in a world fraught with division and conflict. By focusing on her journey, the film provides a poignant depiction of the challenges, aspirations, and transformations within Palestinian society. As a work of visual storytelling, Farha serves as a medium to shed light on the historical and social realities faced by Palestinians. This paper aims to explore the socio-cultural values embedded in the film, particularly in relation to traditional customs, educational aspirations, and shifting gender roles. The study employs Peirce's triadic semiotic model, which consists of three key elements: the representamen (the sign itself), the object (what the sign refers to), and the interpretant (the meaning derived by the audience). Through this approach, the research seeks to uncover the deeper significance behind the film's symbolic elements and their implications for understanding Palestinian cultural identity. The findings of this study indicate that Farha depicts Palestinian society as one that is deeply rooted in traditional social values, emphasizing community, resilience, and familial bonds. Furthermore, the film brings attention to the importance of education as a means of empowerment, particularly for women. The protagonist's aspiration for education symbolizes a broader societal shift toward gender equality and self-determination, highlighting the evolving roles of women in Palestinian society.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze student satisfaction with the quality of dormitory facilities at Sriwijaya University. Adequate dormitory facilities are an important factor in supporting student comfort and the smooth running of academic activities. Using a qualitative approach, this research explores students' perceptions of the condition of the facilities and investigates the responses from both dormitory management and the central authority. The results show that students are generally satisfied with aspects such as cleanliness and security but express concerns over the lack of supporting facilities, disruptions in water availability, and the slow response from the management. Based on interviews, dormitory managers stated that the authority for repairs lies with the central office, while the central office acknowledged issues in administrative systems and communication. These findings highlight the need for improved management systems and coordination between parties to enhance the quality of dormitory services.

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between vocabulary learning strategies and vocabulary size among EFL students, focusing on the impact of reading English academic articles. Using a quantitative approach with a correlational descriptive design, this research involved EFL students at IAIN Palangka Raya. Participants completed two instruments: Schmitt’s (2000) Vocabulary Learning Strategies Questionnaire (VLSQ) to identify the strategies students use, and Beglar and Nation’s (2013) Vocabulary Size Test (VST) to measure vocabulary knowledge. The results indicate that reading English academic articles positively influences vocabulary development, particularly in acquiring high and medium-frequency words with an average of 78/100. Social Strategy emerged as the most widely used approach, followed by Determination and Metacognitive Strategies. These strategies help students understand new vocabulary through discussions with peers or lecturers, analyzing context, and utilizing resources such as dictionaries or glossaries. The correlation analysis between Vocabulary Learning Strategies and Vocabulary Size (r = 0.336) shows a moderate positive relationship, suggesting that these strategies play a role in enhancing vocabulary size. However, the findings also imply that other factors may contribute to vocabulary acquisition. Overall, this study highlights the importance of frequent reading and targeted vocabulary learning strategies for improving EFL students' vocabulary knowledge, providing valuable insights for more effective language instruction.

Abstract

Mengintegrasikan keterampilan membaca, berbicara, mendengarkan dan menulis dalam pendidikan bahasa Inggris dasar sangat penting bagi siswa. Penguasaan kosakata membantu pemahaman dan ekspresi. Guru harus menggunakan strategi kreatif untuk melibatkan siswa, seperti latihan interaktif dan permainan peran. Pengalaman komunikasi dalam kehidupan nyata dalam bahasa Inggris meningkatkan kefasihan dan kepercayaan diri. Pendekatan-pendekatan ini mengembangkan keterampilan bahasa dasar yang penting untuk komunikasi dan pemahaman yang efektif. Dalam menganalisis kemampuan siswa kelas 4 SDI Nurul Ihsan dalam memahami kosakata dan maknanya dalam bahasa Inggris, kami menggunakan metode wawancara dan observasi lapangan. Pendekatan ini berfokus pada perspektif siswa tentang proses pembelajaran pemahaman kosakata bahasa Inggris, serta pengamatan langsung terhadap seberapa baik mereka memahami kosakata tersebut. Hasil dari laporan ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pengajaran kosakata bahasa Inggris di kelas 4 SDI Nurul Ihsan memberikan dampak positif terhadap pemahaman siswa. Partisipasi siswa cukup baik, dan metode pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dan observasi memberikan pemahaman yang mendalam. Analisis data menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman kosakata bahasa Inggris siswa. Kesimpulan ini menjadi dasar untuk pengembangan pembelajaran di masa depan. Kegiatan pengajaran kosakata bahasa Inggris di kelas 4 SDI Nurul Ihsan memiliki dampak positif terhadap pemahaman siswa. Metode pengajaran yang melibatkan musik dan nyanyian berhasil meningkatkan partisipasi dan pemahaman siswa. Hasil tes kosakata menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa mendapat nilai di atas rata-rata, tetapi masih ada beberapa yang membutuhkan bantuan lebih lanjut. Oleh karena itu, disarankan untuk terus mengembangkan metode pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan kinerja dan pengetahuan siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of the abolition of the subscription parking policy in Bangkalan, which triggers a dilemma between fulfilling the aspirations of the community and the potential reduction in Regional Original Revenue (PAD). This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach. The main data source used in this research is primary data obtained through direct observation and interviews with the parties involved, such as the Department of Transportation in Bangkalan Regency. The results show that the abolition of the subscription parking policy has dual consequences. On the one hand, this policy responds to public complaints against the practice of double levies by parking attendants. However, on the other hand, this policy has the potential to reduce the Regional Original Revenue (PAD) that was previously sourced from the subscription parking levy, which can have an impact on the regional development budget. The decision to abolish the subscription parking policy illustrates the challenges in formulating public policies that must balance the interests of the public and the financial sustainability of the region. This research recommends a more transparent and systematic parking management mechanism to reduce illegal levies and maintain the stability of local revenue. This study provides insights into the dynamics of public policy in the context of parking governance in the region, as well as offering new perspectives in finding equitable and sustainable solutions for local governments and communities, because until now there have not been many studies that specifically examine the issue in depth, especially in the local context.

Abstract

The teaching of Moral Aqidah aims to help all students grow in morals and morals. Support their beliefs. The use of facilities and infrastructure plays a role in the success of this teaching and learning process. Learning resources, devices, media and learning strategies that are appropriate to the student's situation. If the learning topic is arranged according to the chosen learning method, appropriate selection stages are carried out. Teaching techniques make it easier to understand the content. An essential part of living together is educational ethics. Because if a student's lack of character and moral qualities is based on this, then no matter how smart and intelligent the student is, he or she will not be able to show good character in the future. The method used in this research is qualitative research. Research is a description and analysis of phenomena, events, social activities, attitudes, beliefs, perceptions and thoughts of individuals or groups of people, or research strategies that are integrated into the circumstances and events studied. This research examines teacher strategies in developing efficient methods of teaching moral beliefs, especially teacher strategies in applying interesting strategies, and building reciprocal communication between teachers and students at MI Miftahul Huda Keboledan. Abstract

This qualitative literature review explores the importance of flexible syllabus design in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) education. Flexibility in syllabus design is crucial to accommodate learners’ diverse needs, abilities, and contexts. The study systematically analyzes eight key academic sources discussing various syllabus design approaches; such as task-based, content-based, and negotiated syllabi—and emphasizes the significance of involving students in the planning process. Using thematic analysis, the review identifies common strategies for adapting materials, teaching methods, and assessments to be more relevant and inclusive. The main findings indicate that a flexible syllabus enhances student motivation, participation, and learning outcomes. These results suggest that flexibility in curriculum design is a key component of effective, learner-centered EFL instruction and should be promoted in policy and practice.
