Abstract

The purpose of this study is to prove the significant direct influence of work environment variables, training, career development on employee performance and job satisfaction and to prove the significant indirect influence through mediation of job satisfaction between work environment, training, and career development on employee performance. This study was conducted on employees of the District Court Office in the Riau High Court jurisdiction with a population of all employees of the District Court in the Riau High Court jurisdiction totaling 215 people. The number of samples taken was 138 people where the sampling technique was carried out using probability sampling. The independent variables are work environment (X1), training (X2) and career development (X3), the mediating variable is job satisfaction (Z) and the dependent variable is employee performance (Y). The research data were analyzed using the Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) method with measurements using a Likert scale. The direct influence hypothesis test obtained a positive and insignificant influence between training (X1) on employee performance (Y), then a positive and significant influence between training (X2), career development (X3), and job satisfaction (Z) on employee performance (Y) and the work environment (X1), training (X2) and career development (X3) had a positive and significant influence on job satisfaction (Z). The indirect influence hypothesis test obtained a positive and significant influence between the work environment variable (X1), job training variable (X2), and career development (X3) on employee performance (Y) mediated by job satisfaction (Z).

Abstract

The study examined the dynamic interactions between challenge stressors, social support, self-efficacy, and creativity among international students in Denmark, a population that is vulnerable to academic and work stress. This research aims to understand how protective factors can mitigate stress and drive innovation in a complex global education environment. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected through a survey of more than 400 international students at Danish higher education institutions. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to test hypothetical relationships. Key findings suggest that stressors, challenges, and social support significantly improve self-efficacy. Furthermore, self-efficacy, challenge stressors, and social support directly contribute positively to creativity. Crucially, self-efficacy has been shown to mediate the relationship between challenge stressors and creativity, as well as between social support and creativity. These results underscore the importance of self-efficacy as a key mechanism that converts pressure and support into creative outcomes. The theoretical implication is the integration of psychological constructs in education management. At the same time, these findings suggest strategies for universities to create an environment that supports student well-being and creativity.

Abstract

This test aims to look at the Relationship between Political Skills and Narcissistic Leadership with Organizational Citizen Behavior mediated by Leader-Member Exchange. This study uses Organizational Citizen Behavior as a dependent variable and Political Skills and Narcissistic Leadership as independent variables. This study used quantitative research methods with sampling techniques in the form of purposive sampling which were distributed to office workers in the Central Jakarta area with an age range in the Millennial generation, namely 20 years to 40 years. The number of populations in this study is unknown, so the sampling used the Lemeshow technique with a total sample of 100 respondents. The results of the linear regression in this study show that the proposed hypothesis exists that is appropriate and not with the research carried out. Where the results showed that there was a significant relationship between political skills and OCB but narcissistic leadership with OCB did not have a significant relationship. The results also showed that leader-member exchanges can mediate the relationship between variables of political skills and narcissistic leadership with employee organizational citizen behavior.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic that has hit the world since early 2020 has changed the way and style of working. In the new normal order, the Ministry of Finance is adapting to this situation by setting up a combination work scheme of Work from Home (WFH) or working from home and (Work from Office/WFO) or working in the office. In this research, the combination of WFH and WFO work is hereinafter referred to as the New Normal Perception to Work (NNPW) variable. The aim of this research is to find out whether New Normal Perception to Work (NNPW) is related to Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). This research was conducted on employees of the Tax Service Office located in the city of Semarang with a population of 808 employees with a sample of 272 respondents. This research also uses the mediating variables of job satisfaction and Work Life Balance (WLB). Variable measurements were carried out using a Likert scale, and the response results were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the AMOS 22.0 application. The research results show that New Normal Perception to Work influences employee OCB behavior, WLB and job satisfaction. Work Life Balance is able to mediate the influence of the relationship between New Normal Perception to Work and OCB. Meanwhile, on the other hand, job satisfaction has no effect on OCB, and is unable to mediate the influence of the relationship between NNPW and OCB.

Abstract

Leadership style is important to achieve an effective organizational condition. In addition to leadership style, the environment can also affect individual comfort at work. Work-life balance is also needed to balance work demands. This research uses a quantitative approach. The location of this research was at the SBU Upstream Oil and Gas and Oil and Gas Products at the Service Project of Surveyor Handover and Measurement of Fuel from PT. Pertamina (Persero) to PT. PLN (Persero) and the number of samples obtained by 146 respondents. The instrument used is the Google Form with data analysis using the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach. The conclusion of this study is that job satisfaction has an effect on turnover intention. Meanwhile, leadership style, work environment and work life balance have no effect on turnover intention. For the results of the indirect effect hypothesis test, it is known that only work life balance and job satisfaction have an influence on turnover intention as a mediating variable. Meanwhile, leadership style on job satisfaction and turnover intention as mediating variables do not influence each other. Work environment on job satisfaction on turnover intention as a mediating variable does not have any influence on each other.

Abstract

The police are part of the government. Therefore, in the context of bureaucratic forms in the police environment, efforts to organize and improve the welfare of police officers are very fundamental considering that they are closely related to the mission of changing police culture. necessary needs. Power (reform of the cultural sphere). It is hoped that the new salary system will provide maximum prevention against material temptation and seduction (collusion) from all members of the National Police. But in reality there is. This research uses variance-based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) techniques or better known as SEM PLS (Partial Least Square) and is assisted by SMART PLS 2.0.M3 software. 6. Self efficacy, organizational commitment to organizational citizenship behavior: Path coefficient = 3.609 > T-Table = 1.982, meaning that the moderator variable (organizational commitment) moderates the influence of an endogenous variable (self efficacy) on the exogenous variable (Organizational citizenship behavior). Religiosity, Organizational Commitment to Organizational Citizenship Behavior: Path coefficient = 1.887 > T-Table = 1.982, meaning that the moderator variable (Organizational Commitment) moderates the influence of an endogenous variable (Religiosity) on the exogenous variable (Organizational Citizenship Behavior).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between perceived overqualification and turnover intention, exploring the gap in existing research by focusing on leader support and individual cynicism as context-specific influences on this relationship. This study uses a quantitative survey involving 135 respondents chosen explicitly from the service sector, including culinary, technology and IT, hospitality, and creative businesses spread across Indonesia. The empirical findings found that perceived overqualification can increase turnover intention, and this effect will be more substantial when individuals have cynicism toward the organization. However, when individuals feel supported by leaders, the effect becomes weaker. The results of this study suggest interventions can be made through leader support to weaken individual factors, specifically employee cynicism, which can amplify the adverse behavioral effects of employees' perceived over-qualifications.  The findings must be generalized cautiously, including the potential for common method bias. This paper explains the interaction between perceived overqualification, turnover intention, leader support, and individual cynicism. The results contribute to the organizational psychology literature using the lens of person-job and person-organization fit theories.
