Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa media pembelajaran berbasis STEM Application yang valid, layak dan praktis. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Develompent) yang menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE. Implementasi dari media ini dilakukan dalam dua tahap, yaitu uji kelayakan dan uji kepraktisan. Adapun kesimpulan yang diperoleh: (1) Produk media pembelajaran berbasis STEM Application ini telah dinyatakan valid, layak dan praktis digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran berdasarkan hasil validasi dari ahli materi dengan nilai rata-rata 82% dengan kategori sangat valid, ahli Media dengan nilai rata-rata 88% berkategori sangat valid, ahli Bahasa dengan nilai rata-rata 82% dengan kategori sangat valid. Uji kelayakan oleh dosen pengampu diperoleh dengan rata-rata penilaian 88% berkategori sangat positif. Sedangkan uji kepraktisan oleh pengguna diperoleh rata-rata dengan penilaian sebesar 81% dengan kategori sangat praktis. (2) Identifikasi menggunakan fishbone diagram yang terdapat pada STEM Application membantu mahasiswa dalam memetakan, menganalisa dan menentukan kebutuhan perawatan dan perbaikan.

Abstract

This study analyzes the comparison of English education systems in Indonesia and South Korea through a quantitative approach, focusing on three main aspects: curriculum, teaching methods, and learning outcomes. Data was collected through analysis of curriculum documents, international test scores (PISA, TOEFL iBT, EF EPI), national exam results (UN Indonesia and CSAT Korea), and structured questionnaires involving 800 students and 200 teachers from both countries. The results showed a significant difference in the integration of curriculum technology (χ² = 24.7; p < 0.001), where South Korea allocated 85% of curriculum content to digital platforms, while Indonesia only 35%. Teaching methods in Indonesia are still dominated by the grammar-translation approach (68% of teachers), while South Korea adopts task-based learning (89% of teachers) which is positively correlated with student motivation (r = 0.62; p < 0.01). South Korean students' learning outcomes are consistently superior, with an average EF EPI score of 611 compared to 492 in Indonesia (t = 8.34; p < 0.001), especially in speaking skills (∆ = 15.3 points). Regression analysis revealed that 45% of the variance in learning outcomes in South Korea was influenced by technology (β = 0.52; p < 0.001), while in Indonesia, teacher quality was the main predictor (β = 0.38; p < 0.05). These findings confirm that disparities in learning outcomes are not only due to curriculum differences, but also structural factors such as infrastructure gaps, teacher capacity, and access to technology. The research recommends increasing digital-based teacher training and equitable distribution of infrastructure in Indonesia, as well as reforming the hagwon system in South Korea to reduce social inequality. The implications of this study are evidence-based policy contributions for the development of inclusive and adaptive language education in the digital era.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model STEM-PjBL dan perangkat pembelajarannya berupa modul dan jobsheet untuk integrasi matakuliah Elemen Mesin Dinamis dan CAD/CAM Dasar yang valid, praktis dan efektif meningkatkan STEM-skills. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengambangan. Tahapan penelitian adalah pra-pengembangan, pengembangan, dan evaluasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model STEM-PjBL dapat meningkatkan STEM-Skill, yang terdiri dari kemampuan sains, teknologi, engineering, dan matematika. Model STEM-PjBL untuk materi roda gigi terbukti valid, praktis dan efektif untuk digunakan. Model STEM-PjBL dapat meningkatkan STEM-skills dengan menintegrasikan materi ajar beberapa matakuliah yang berkaitan dengan perancangan roda gigi dan aksesorisnya. Peningkatan STEM-Skills dapat diperoleh melalui model pembelajaran PjBL dangan berbasis STEM. PjBL sebaiknya dilakukan dengan mengintegrasikan lebih dari satu matakuliah, sehingga mahasiswa dapat memiliki komptensi yang komprehensif. Untuk penelitian selanjutnya dapat dilakukan integrasi yang lebih luas untuk beberapa matakuliah. Sehingga penguasaan mahasiswa terhadap suatu materi lebih komprehensif dan relevan dengan dunia industri

Abstract

This study aims to develop a problem-based learning model with the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) approach through e-learning in vocational high schools (SMK) to enhance learning outcomes and critical thinking skills of the students of light vehicle electrical maintenance, which is valid, practical, and effective. The design phase began with determining the fundamental philosophy, theoretical background, hypothetical model, and evaluation aspects, while exhaustive tests were conducted to validate the developed system during the development phase. Based on practical testing in four vocational high schools in Indonesia, the developed PBL-STEM e-learning system is considered valid and effective for enhancing the quality of vocational education. The critical thinking skills of experimental class students have increased, both in groups and individually, as indicated by the progressive percentage increase of 38.32%. The application of this model has proven to be effective in enhancing critical thinking, skills.

Abstract

Program pendidikan keterampilan pada Madrasah Aliyah Negeri diselenggarakan untuk membekali siswa sehingga ketika lulus dari memiliki keterampilan untuk bekerja di dunia usaha/industri maupun berwirausaha mandiri. Namun dunia industri saat ini telah berkembang dan telah menuju era Revolusi industri 4.0 yang merupakan era penerapan teknologi modern seperti teknologi fiber (fiber technology) dan sistem jaringan terintegrasi (integrated network) yang bekerja disetiap aktivitas ekonomi dari produksi hingga konsumsi. Berkembangnya sistem teknologi informasi membutuhkan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas, sehingga dibutuhkan juga sistem pendidikan yang dapat menghasilkan sumber daya manusia sesuai kebutuhan. Sehingga, program keterampilan pada Madrasah Aliyah Negeri juga harus menyesuaikan dengan tuntutan dan kebutuhan dunia kerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis deskriptif. Alat pengumpulan data yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner/angket. Instrumen akan divalidasi isi oleh ahli dan akan di validasi konstruk. Dari hasil analisis Pelaksanaan pemelajaran keterampilan teori dan praktikum di madrasah aliyah negeri diperoleh hasil sebesar 2% siswa menilai sangat baik, pada kriteria baik memperoleh skor 32%, pada kriteria kurang baik sebesar 66%, dan pada kriteria sangat kurang baik sebesar 0%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui cakupan kompetensi profesional guru SMK kompetensi keahlian Teknik Kendaraan Ringan di Kota Palembang dan relevansinya dengan kompetensi pada kurikulum prodi PTMO FKIP 2011 Universitas Sriwijaya. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua jenis populasi yaitu 127 guru SMK dengan mata diklat Teknik Kendaraan Ringan di Kota Palembang dan 12 dosen prodi PTMO FKIP UNSRI. Sampel guru sebanyak 62 guru ditentukan dengan teknik simple random sample, sedangkan sampel dosen sebanyak tujuh dosen ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sample. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, (1) Persentase cakupan kompetensi profesional guru yang relevan sebesar 74,65%. (2) Persentase relevansi kurikulum prodi PTMO FKIP UNSRI dengan Kompetensi Profesional Guru SMK di Kota Palembang sebesar 52,82% termasuk dalam kategori relevan meskipun jumlah kompetensi yang tidak tersedia masih cukup banyak khususnya pada bidang kompetensi kelistrikkan

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the Picture And Picture learning model has an effect on students' interest in learning IPAS at SD N 35 Palembang. This study is a quantitative research using the Quasy Experiment method. Data collection techniques include questionnaires and documentation. The study was conducted on class 5A, consisting of 25 students as the experimental group, and class 5C, consisting of 28 students as the control group. The instrument used was a questionnaire comprising 20 statements. The results of this study indicate that there is an effect of the Picture and Picture learning model on students' interest in learning the IPAS subject at SD N 35 Palembang, with a calculated t-value (4.165) > table t-value (1.676) and a significance level (0.000) < (0.05). Consistent with the hypothesis testing, if the calculated t-value is greater than the table t-value, then the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted

Abstract

This study aims to determine whwther there is an influence of giving Rewards on student’s learning motivation at SD Negeri 25 Palembang. The research also aims to identify the obstacles and challenges that may arise during the implementation of Rewards in enhancing student’s learning motivastion. This research uses a quantitative method with a correlation type. The population in this study consists of all students at SD Negeri 25 Palembang, totaling 591 students. The sampling technique used is non-prbability sampling with a purposive sampling method, involving 30 students from class IIIA. Data collection techniques in this study include questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. Based on the kolmogrov-smirnov normality last, the significance value for Rewards ins 0,335 > 0,05 and for learning motivation is 0,605 > 0,05, indication that the data are normally distributed. The result og the linearity test shows a significance value for deviation from linarity 0f 0,857 > 0,05, which means the data are linear. The hypothesis test using pearson product moment correlation shows a significance value of 0,438 < 0,05. This means the Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Therefore, it can be concludes that there is a significant influence of giving Reward on student’s learning motivation at SD Negeri 25 Palembang

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of discipline and responsibility on students' self-awareness in the implementation of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) in practical lectures at the Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program, Sriwijaya University. The background of this study is based on the low awareness of students in implementing OHS, particularly in the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when conducting practical work in the laboratory. Self-awareness, as an individual's ability to recognize and evaluate oneself, plays a crucial role in enhancing discipline and responsibility in the context of workplace safety. This study employs a quantitative approach using a survey method, distributing questionnaires to students from the 2022 and 2023 cohorts, with the sample size determined using the Slovin formula. The instruments used include validated indicators of discipline, responsibility, and self-awareness. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) to determine the relationships and influences between variables. The results of the study indicate that both discipline and responsibility have a positive and significant influence on students' self-awareness in implementing OSH. The combination of these two variables also contributes more significantly to enhancing self-awareness. This study is expected to provide practical contributions to improving the implementation of OSH in practical academic settings and serve as a reference for the development of policies and learning strategies based on workplace safety in higher education institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and describe how the implementation of the Project Based Learning (PJBL) Model can improve student learning outcomes in the Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subject in grade IV of State Elementary School 75 Palembang. The methods used in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the implementation of the PJBL Model had a positive impact on the process and learning outcomes of students. Students became more active, enthusiastic, and motivated during the learning process. The PJBL steps implemented by the teacher—starting from determining basic questions, planning, implementation, to project presentation—have encouraged students to think critically, work together, and build knowledge independently. The average student score increased from the sufficient category (50–60) to good to very good (70–90). In addition, PJBL also supports the development of soft skills such as collaboration, communication, and responsibility. The results of this study indicate that the PJBL Model is effective in improving science learning outcomes and creating a more interesting and meaningful learning experience for students.
