Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence the target game has on the shooting ability of players at the Bhayangkara Youth Football Club Sungai Rotan, Muara Enim Regency. The formulation of the problem in this study is: Is there an effect of target games on the shooting abilities of players at the Bhayangkara Sungai Rotan Youth Football Club, Muara Enim Regency? This research method is a quasi-experimentalresearch with the design or treatment design used as "One group's pre-test-post-test design". The data collection technique in this study used a soccer shooting ability test. The results showed that the initial ability test on the average player's ability to shoot reached an average of 69.50 points, then increased after being given the target game treatment, this was evidenced by the average test results reaching a record of 91.00points. Hypothesis testing states that there is an effect of target game training on shooting ability at the Barayangkara Sungai Rattan Youth Club because Tcount > Ttable (10.30 > 1.729).

Abstract

This study aims to determine there is an influence on the writing skills of simple sentences of grade III students who are taught by utilizing serial picture learning media at SDN 2 Mekar Jaya. The method used is the Pre-Experimental research method with the total population technique with the population and sample being all grade III students, namely 20 students. At the trial stage are normality tests, mil homogeneity and hypothesis tests. The results of the pretest analysis were 46,25 and the posttest results were 85,5. In the data collection technique, namely tests and documentation. The results of hypothesis testing using paired sample t-tests show that this calculation is known to have a value of t Count = 24,646 and t Table = 2,086 and a sig value of 0,000 < 0,05 so that t Count > t Table then is accepted and is rejected. Soit can be concluded that there is an influence of the use of serial picture media on the ability to write simple sentences at SDN 2 Mekar Jaya.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an evaluation instrument for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) skills in TIG MIG welding courses in the Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program, Sriwijaya University. The background of this study is based on the need for a measuring instrument that is able to assess students' STEM skills comprehensively, especially in project-based learning that requires mastery of 21st century skills. The method used is research and development (Research and Development) with the ADDIE model consisting of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The products developed include a performance assessment rubric, observation sheets, and self- and peer assessment instruments. The validity of the instrument was tested through expert judgment with three validators using the Aiken's V formula, while the reliability was tested through the SPSS application. The results of the study indicate that the evaluation instrument developed has met the valid and practical criteria for use in assessing students' STEM skills in TIG MIG welding practices. This instrument is expected to be a tool for lecturers in carrying out comprehensive and in-depth skill evaluations.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the validity and practicality of Project Based Learning (PjBL)-based jobsheet learning media in the Packing Practice Course in the Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) research using a 4-D development model. The subject of the study is a UNSRI Mechanical Engineering Education student who is taking a Packing Practice Course. The object of the research is a project-based learning jobsheet for the Fitting Practice Course. The results of the study were obtained that 1) Based on the results of the validation of material experts, an average assessment of 4.26 was obtained with a very valid category, and the results of the validation of media experts obtained an average assessment of 4.4 with a very valid category, thus it can be stated that the jobsheet is very valid in terms of material aspects and media aspects. 2) Based on field trials, it shows that the assessment with an average score of 4.28 indicates that the assessment is very practical. Thus, the project-based learning jobsheets, plates work courses developed in the category are very valid in terms of feasibility and very practical to use.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and produce interactive multimedia learning This study aims to develop interactive multimedia learning for Arts and Culture integrated with Senjang local wisdom for elementary school students in Musi Banyuasin and to determine its validity, practicality, and effectiveness in improving learning outcomes. The development process applied the Rowntree model, consisting of planning, development, and evaluation stages. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, expert validation, and pretest–posttest assessments. The product was validated by material, media, and language experts, followed by one-to-one testing, small group trials, and a field test involving 60 students. The effectiveness of the multimedia was analyzed using the N-Gain score. The expert validation results obtained an average score of 89.51%, categorized as very valid. Practicality testing showed high feasibility with student and teacher responses of 92.6% and 93.8%, categorized as very practical. The effectiveness test demonstrated an N-Gain value of 0.79, indicating a high level of effectiveness in improving learning outcomes. The novelty of this study lies in integrating Senjang, an oral cultural heritage of Musi Banyuasin, into interactive multimedia learning, serving not only as a pedagogical tool but also as a medium for cultural preservation aligned with the Merdeka Curriculum and digital learning demands.materials based on local wisdom for the Cultural Arts subject in elementary schools, specifically to enhance students’ understanding of local wisdom at SDN 1 Ulak Paceh, Musi Banyuasin. The development process employed the Rowntree development model, consisting of three main stages: planning, development, and evaluation. The study involved 60 students from SDN 1 Ulak Paceh who participated in pretest and posttest activities, as well as two educators to identify instructional needs. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and questionnaires, and the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the multimedia materials were evaluated using expert validation, small group trials, and N-Gain analysis. The validation results indicated that the developed interactive multimedia was highly valid with an average expert validation score of 89.51%. The practicality test showed very high practicality levels with small group scores of 92.6% and 93.8%, while the effectiveness test revealed an N-Gain score of 0.79 in the high category, indicating significant improvement in students’ learning outcomes. This research introduces interactive multimedia learning materials integrating local wisdom from Musi Banyuasin, particularly the Senjang cultural element, as a means to preserve regional culture while improving the quality of learning in Cultural Arts subjects at the elementary level.

Abstract

The focus of this research aims to design a learning module based on the principles of Project Based Learning (PjBL) for the Basic Metrology course in the Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program, Sriwijaya University. Utilizing a Research and Development (R&D) methodology, the study adopts the 4D model, encompassing the stages of Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. Validation by a subject matter expert produced an average rating of 3.50 (87.5%), classifying the module as highly valid. Concurrently, evaluation by a media expert yielded an average score of 3.25 (81.37%), situating it within the valid category. Furthermore, a practicality assessment derived from student feedback returned an average score of 3.32 (83.25%), which is categorized as excellent. In the component of creativity and innovation, the module received a score of 3.00 or 75%, suggesting that although the module functions well, there remains room for enhancement to further encourage students’ ability to generate new ideas.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the need for developing audiovisual learning media using Canva in science learning on climate change for fourth-grade elementary school students. The study used a quantitative descriptive approach with a needs analysis questionnaire as the data collection technique. The research subjects consisted of 35 fourth-grade students and 2 fourth-grade teachers at Muara Medak Elementary School. The research instrument was a questionnaire containing 10 statements with a rating scale from very high to very low. Data were analyzed using a percentage technique based on pedagogical, technical, cognitive, and aesthetic aspects. The results showed that the need for audiovisual media development was in the high to very high category, with a percentage of 84.57% for the pedagogical aspect, 81.85% for the technical aspect, 76.28% for the cognitive aspect, and 85.42% for the aesthetic aspect. These findings indicate that students and teachers need learning media that are interesting, easily accessible, and able to help understand abstract material. Based on these results, the development of audiovisual media using Canva is considered relevant as a learning solution to increase learning interest and support the effectiveness of science learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the need for developing interactive multimedia based on local wisdom in the teaching of Senjang within Cultural Arts education at the elementary school level. The novelty of this study lies in its specific focus on Senjang as a form of local oral literature that has received limited attention in the development of elementary school learning media, positioning it as both cultural heritage and an instructional resource. The research was motivated by students’ low understanding of local cultural arts content, declining interest in Senjang, and the absence of adequate and engaging instructional media. A descriptive quantitative approach was employed, with data collected through questionnaires administered to 32 participants consisting of 30 students and 2 teachers. The results indicate a strong demand for interactive multimedia learning media, with students reporting increased interest, understanding, and engagement, while teachers found such media helpful in delivering the material. The needs analysis showed that students’ needs reached 96.8 percent, teachers’ needs 98.33 percent, and media needs 93.33 percent, all categorized as highly needed. These findings emphasize the importance of developing interactive, culturally rooted learning media to support the preservation of Senjang as local oral literature and to improve the quality of cultural arts education in elementary schools

Abstract

This study aims to determine teachers' perceptions of the implementation of the Independent Curriculum at SD Negeri 01/VII Pasar Sarolangun. The background of the study arose due to teachers' varying understandings, limited training, and obstacles in preparing teaching materials and implementing differentiated learning. The research method used a qualitative approach through observation and interviews. Using the analysis technique of Miles Hubermen, 2009. The results showed that teachers generally had a positive perception because the Independent Curriculum was considered to provide space for creativity, and more flexible learning in developing learning, and creatively according to needs. although some teachers still experienced technical and adaptation obstacles. Overall, the Independent Curriculum was considered to create more effective and student-centered learning.
