Abstract

This study aims to determine the learning independence of grade V students of SD Negeri 11 Muara Telang in thematic learning. This research was carried out at SD Negeri 11 Muara Telang in grade V of the 2022/2023 school year. The approach in this study is a qualitative approach, with a descriptive method, which is supported by field assessments and references related to the theme discussed. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Data is analyzed by means of reduction, display and generalization or inference. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the learning independence of students at SD Negeri 11 Muara Telang has developed well. Students have high independence. Indicators of learning independence include confidence, active in learning, discipline in learning and responsibility in learning. Students who have high learning independence will try to complete tasks with their own abilities.

Abstract

Program pendidikan keterampilan pada Madrasah Aliyah Negeri diselenggarakan untuk membekali siswa sehingga ketika lulus dari memiliki keterampilan untuk bekerja di dunia usaha/industri maupun berwirausaha mandiri. Namun dunia industri saat ini telah berkembang dan telah menuju era Revolusi industri 4.0 yang merupakan era penerapan teknologi modern seperti teknologi fiber (fiber technology) dan sistem jaringan terintegrasi (integrated network) yang bekerja disetiap aktivitas ekonomi dari produksi hingga konsumsi. Berkembangnya sistem teknologi informasi membutuhkan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas, sehingga dibutuhkan juga sistem pendidikan yang dapat menghasilkan sumber daya manusia sesuai kebutuhan. Sehingga, program keterampilan pada Madrasah Aliyah Negeri juga harus menyesuaikan dengan tuntutan dan kebutuhan dunia kerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis deskriptif. Alat pengumpulan data yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner/angket. Instrumen akan divalidasi isi oleh ahli dan akan di validasi konstruk. Dari hasil analisis Pelaksanaan pemelajaran keterampilan teori dan praktikum di madrasah aliyah negeri diperoleh hasil sebesar 2% siswa menilai sangat baik, pada kriteria baik memperoleh skor 32%, pada kriteria kurang baik sebesar 66%, dan pada kriteria sangat kurang baik sebesar 0%.Kata kunci: Madrasah Aliyah, keterampilan, praktik

Abstract

Rata-rata anak putus sekolah yang ada di Keluruhan Permata Baru (Mandala) kecamatan Indralaya Utara Ogan Ilir menginginkan merubah nasib dengan cara mendapatkan penghasilan yang lebih layak dengan pekerjaan yang bisa diandalkan. Kelanjutan dari pembicaraan informal telah dapat disimpulkan bahwa mereka menginginkan untuk bisa berusaha sendiri (berwirausaha) yang memiliki core business dengan keterampilan mereka yaitu Jasa pengelasan. Hal ini didasarkan pada pendapat mereka juga bahwa tiap tahunnya ada banyak perumahan yang dibangun dan membutuhkan trail, pagar, dan kanopi untuk keamanan dan estetika. Pengabdian masyarakat ini memiliki tujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan keterampilan pengelasan dan skill dalam bidang mengelola usaha. Pada tahap awal, seluruh peserta dikumpukan dan diberikan evaluasi awal untuk melihat bagaimana tingkat pemahaman peserta pelatihan yang nantinya akan dibandingkan dengan tes akhir (pre-test). Selanjunya tahap pelaksanaan kegiatan. Peserta pelatihan akan diberikan pemahaman secara awal secara umum tentang materi pelatihan yang berhubungan dengan pengelasan, sehingga peserta akan paham tentang materi yang disampaikan. Materi yang diberikan menggunakan metode caramah, metode diskusi, demontrasi dan praktek langsung Tahap akhir kegiatan ini yaitu evaluasi akhir. Tujuan akhir dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman terhadap bagaimana cara melakukan pengelasan, finishing, dan pengecatan. Penilaian keberhasilan dari kegiatan ini dapat dilihat melalui kemajuan pengetahuan dan pemahaman serta keterampilan melalui perbandingan antara tes awal dan tes akhir.

Abstract

This study aims to determine what factors cause the low reading interest of students in the SD Negeri 01 Kelekar library. The research problem is what are the external and internal factors that cause students' low reading interest in the SD Negeri 01 Kelekar library. This research method will use descriptive qualitative research. The object of this research is students at SD Negeri 01 Kelekar. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The data obtained is then analyzed by reducing, displaying and concluding. The results showed that there were several factors that influenced students' reading interest. External factors include family environmental factors that do not support and motivate students to read, curriculum and school education factors that are not conducive such as not providing a place to read other than the library, community infrastructure factors that do not support increasing interest in reading which gives examples of preferring to places of entertainment Instead of going to a bookstore, the factor of availability and accessibility of reading materials such as textbooks is incomplete, the collection of books students are looking for is also incomplete and the books in the library are not yet diverse. While internal factors include students' reading ability, namely there are students who have difficulty reading, there are still many students who do not understand the contents of the reading, students read books at the behest of the teacher, students read books not according to their needs, such as students prefer to read fables, stories and poetry rather than reading textbooks as well as students completing assignments looking at the internet instead of books

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine whether there is an influence of reading interest on the intensity of visiting the library. This research uses a quantitative approach and uses a questionnaire as an instrument for collecting data. The population in this study were all students at SD Negeri 95 Palembang, totaling 206 students and those used as samples were classes IV A, IV B, VA and V B. Thus the entire sample consisted of 64 respondents. Based on the results of research and discussion regarding the influence of students' interest in reading on the intensity of visiting the library for classes IV and V at SD Negeri 95 Palembang. Therefore, it can be concluded that the results of the simple regression analysis value show a significant number of 0.000 < 0.05, which means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that there is an influence of reading interest on the intensity of visiting the library at SD Negeri 95 Palembang for the 2024/2025 academic year. . From the Summary Model of the simple linear regression test, the R Square result was 0.583, this value means that the influence of reading interest on the intensity of visiting the library is 58.3%, while 41.7% is influenced by variables not examined in this research. Abstract

Gambar teknik merupakan mata pelajaran yang harus dikuasi oleh siswa SMK. Penggunaan software gambar teknik adalah harga lisensi yang mahal dan membutuhkan dukungan komputer yang memadai. Kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah pelatihan penggunaan dasar-dasar AutoCAD sebagai software di mata pelajaran Gambar Teknik di SMK N 1 Lempuing. Metode pelaksanaan pelatihan adalah ceramah, diskusi, demonstrasi, dan praktek. Dari hasil pre-test dan post-test, terjadi peningkatan peserta pelatihan menggunakan metode ceramah, diskusi, demonstrasi, dan praktek, yang dilakukan secara simultan. Kemudian, kegiatan pengabdian ini juga memberikan sharing pengalaman metode installasi AutoCAD berlisensi AcademicVersion.

Abstract

Pembangkit listrik tenaga surya (PLTS) merupakan solusi daerah yang mengalami krisis energi di Indonesia karena potensi energi surya yang melimpah. Desa Dabuk Rejo merupakan salah satu desa yang sedikit memiliki fasilitas lampu penerangan jalan tidak banyak, karenanya, PLTS merupakan usulan tepat sebagai pembangkit listrik mandiri untuk lampu penerangan jalan di desa Dabuk Rejo karena murah, ramah lingkungan, mudah di operasikan, mudah di rawat, dan mudah dipasang. Pendekatan participatory communication for social change digunakan sebagai metode pelaksanaan kegiatan, dimana pendekatan ini menjadi jembatan transfer pengetahuan dari tim pengabdi ke masyarakat. Sehingga, ketika terjadi kendala kerja di PLTS masyarakat dapat secara mandiri memperbaikinya, agar masyarakat merawat dan menjaga PLTS sehingga memiliki lifetime yang tinggi.

Abstract

This research aims to identify and understand students' learning difficulties in learning mathematics in multiplication material at SD Negeri 40 Palembang. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, which aims to provide an in-depth description of the phenomenon being studied. Data collection techniques in this research include direct observation, in-depth interviews with students and teachers, as well as documentation of various learning materials and other relevant records. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that difficulties in learning mathematics in multiplication material at SD Negeri 40 Palembang are caused by various factors which can be recommended as internal and external factors. Internal factors of learning difficulties include students' low interest in mathematics, low strong learning motivation, and students' inability to understand and focus during the learning process. Meanwhile, external factors that influence learning difficulties are a lack of variation in the teaching media used by teachers, the influence of a family environment that does not support student learning activities, and a social environment with school friends that is not conducive.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the Make a Match learning model affects the learning outcomes of fourth-grade elementary school students on the theme of energy conservation, specifically the sub-theme of energy benefits, or not. There are two hypotheses in this study: the application of the Make a Match model affects the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students on the theme of energy conservation, specifically the sub-theme of energy benefits (H_a), and the application of the Make a Match learning model does not affect the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students on the theme of energy conservation, specifically the sub-theme of energy benefits (H_0). The research method used is an experimental method with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population of this study consists of all fourth-grade elementary school students, totaling 25 students. Since the population is less than 25, the entire population is used as the sample in this study. Data collection was conducted through testing and interviews. The research data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and prerequisite analysis tests. Based on the data analysis, it is known that the Significance (2-tailed) value is 0.000, while the significance level is 0.05. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Make a Match learning model affects the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students on the theme of energy conservation, specifically the sub-theme of energy benefits, where H_a is accepted, and H_0 is rejected.

Abstract

In Indonesia, many elementary schools still rely on the Drill and Practice method, which focuses on repetitive exercises to strengthen students' basic mathematical skills. While effective for honing technical abilities like calculations and formula application, this method does not foster the development of complex critical and creative thinking. In contrast, China has adopted an Inquiry-Based Learning (IBL) approach in mathematics education, which emphasizes critical thinking, problem-solving, and exploration through questioning. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of IBL in comparison to Drill and Practice, particularly in terms of its impact on student learning outcomes in both China and Indonesia. Using a quantitative approach with experimental design, the study compares the implementation of IBL in China with the Drill and Practice method at Jakarta International School (JIS). The results show that IBL in China significantly enhances students' higher-order thinking skills, particularly in problem-solving, critical thinking, and creativity. Students in the IBL group in China demonstrated a greater improvement in their test scores compared to the control group at JIS. The post-test average for the IBL group in China was 85.5, while the JIS group only reached 67.8. Additionally, 75% of IBL students in China were able to apply mathematical concepts to real-world situations, compared to just 45% at JIS. Moreover, IBL students in China reported higher motivation and engagement, with 78% feeling more motivated to study, compared to only 50% at JIS. Furthermore, 72% of IBL students in China used multiple methods to solve problems, in contrast to 40% at JIS. Statistical analysis confirmed these findings, with a significant t-value of 4.35 and a p-value of 0.005, supporting the effectiveness of IBL in fostering critical thinking and creativity.
