Abstract

This study is motivated by the phenomenon that the majority of students in class VI-D at SD Negeri Keboan Anom Gedangan do not reflect the etiquette and norms that have been established in the school environment. In this case the researcher aims to examine the extent of students understanding of etiquette and norms. The aim to be adchieved in this research is to describe students understanding of etiquette and norms at SD Negeri Keboan Anom Gedangan, the describer students habituation of etiquette and norms at SD Negeri Keboan Anom Gedangan. This study is research that uses a qualitative approach. The data collection method used was to provide a questionnaire containing 25 statements that had to be ticked by class VI-D students at SD Negeri Keboan Anom Gedangan and an interview containing 10 question conducted with the class VI-D teacher. Data analysis data, compiling data systematically, and drawing conclusions. Like the data that has been obtained through questionnareires and interviews conducted with the homeroom teacher and class VI-D students at SD Negeri Keboan Anom Gedangan, the results of the data are the analysed by researchers so that conclusions can be drawn. Based on the results of likert scale calculations, it shows that there are 13 children who really understand, 13 children understand, and 2 children does not understand etiquette and norms. From these results it can be concluded that the majority of class VI-D students understand the etiquette and norms that exist in the school environment, SD Negeri Keboan Anom Gedangan also made adjustments to instill etiquette and norms.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the learning process that is less than optimal for student learning achievement, this is due to the lack of learning models and strategies that are tailored to student learning needs. Teachers tend to use conventional learning models and lectures that make students bored faster and the learning needs of each student are not met optimally so that learning objectives do not reach the target. This research uses the Quasi Experimental method with a quantitative-based approach. The population in this study involved fourth grade students of SD Negeri Sedati Gede 2, and the sample of this study involved fourth grade students A with a total of 29 students and fourth grade students C with a total of 25 students. With the Posettest-only control research design used in two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. Data collection methods/techniques in the form of test sheets with PJBL learning models with differentiated learning strategies that are applied through classroom learning such as the daily learning process. Based on the results of data analysis using SPSS version 25 with the Indipendent sample t test, it is known that the sig value. 0.000 <0.05 means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that the application of the Project Based Learning learning model with differentiated learning strategies has a significant effect on the learning achievement of elementary school students.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service was to provide training on the use of digital media for learning for elementary school teachers. This activity took place at SDN Klantingsari 1 Tarik, attended by representatives of elementary school teachers from the Tarik sub-district. Teachers received training on Olabs digital learning media for elementary school teachers. The results showed a 50% increase in teacher competency in using Olabs digital learning media.

Abstract

This study investigates the comparative effectiveness of Discovery Learning (DL) models based on interpersonal and intrapersonal intelligences in enhancing the emotional intelligence (EI) of elementary school students. Grounded in Gardner’s Multiple Intelligences theory and the constructivist paradigm, this research addresses the need for differentiated pedagogy that fosters both cognitive and affective development. A quantitative ex post facto design was employed involving 88 fourth-grade students from two public schools in Surabaya, Indonesia, who were categorized based on their dominant intelligence type. Emotional intelligence was assessed using a validated five-dimensional instrument comprising self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy, and social skills. The learning intervention consisted of eight sessions of Discovery Learning, with instructional activities tailored to each group’s intelligence orientation. Statistical analysis using an independent samples t-test revealed a significant difference in EI scores between the groups (p = 0.002), favoring students with interpersonal intelligence. These findings suggest that socially-oriented instructional models are particularly effective in promoting emotional competencies when aligned with students’ cognitive-emotional profiles. The study contributes to the discourse on adaptive learning design by demonstrating how intelligence-sensitive pedagogy can meaningfully enhance emotional intelligence in early educational settings.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh metode moral reasoning terhadap hasil belajar siswa materi bentuk norma dan aturan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari kelas IV sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian quasi-experiment jenis Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampel penelitian menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling, yaitu kelas IV A dan IV B. Sampel penelitiannya yakni kelas IV A dengan total 27 siswa dan kelas IV B yang mencapai 25 siswa, dengan kuantitas keseluruhannya 52 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil uji validitas, soal instrumen layak digunakan dalam penelitian. Selanjutnya, uji reliabilitas menunjukkan hasil reliabel karena memiliki Cronbach's Alpha lebih dari (> 0,60). Selanjutnya dilakukan uji normalitas yang berdistribusi normal dikarenakan nilai (Sig.) lebih dari 0,05. Berdasarkan uji homogenitas, memiliki signifikasi (Sig.) 0,327 lebih besar dari 0,05. Jadi, dapat diperoleh data yang disajikan telah homogen. Setelah itu, dilakukan uji hipotesis dengan nilai (Sig.) yang didapatkan sebesar 0,046, yakni menunjukkan kurang dari 0,05 atau kurang dari taraf signifikasi yang telah ditentukan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh metode moral reasoning terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas IV SDN Kepuh Kiriman 1 Waru. Hal ini mengartikan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar peserta didik setelah menggunakan metode moral reasoning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT) terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas IV pada materi hak dan kewajiban anak di rumah dan sekolah. Permasalahan yang diangkat adalah pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila yang belum menggunakan model tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT), yang menyebabkan pembelajaran kurang aktif sehingga kurang mengakomodasi interaksi sosial dan partisipasi aktif siswa, yang pada akhirnya dapat menghambat hasil belajar yang optimal. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu (quasi-experiment) dengan desain non-equivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari dua kelompok, yaitu kelas eksperimen (30 siswa) dan kelas kontrol (30 siswa), yang dipilih dengan teknik simple random sampling. Data diperoleh melalui pretest dan posttest yang dianalisis menggunakan uji-t dengan SPSS 21.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yang diajarkan dengan model tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT) yaitu 58,67 lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan siswa yang tidak diajarkan menggunakan model tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT) yaitu 40,67. Berdasarkan analisis data, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Model ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar, sehingga direkomendasikan untuk diterapkan dalam pembelajaran di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Objective: This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of the B-STAD learning model in enhancing problem-solving ability and to analyze the interaction between learning models and students’ self-regulation. Methods : The study employed a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design involving 186 Elementary School Teacher Education students who enrolled in 2022. The researchers used problem-solving ability tests and self-regulation questionnaires as instruments, both tested for validity and reliability. The analysis results revealed a significant difference between the group using the B-STAD model and the control group. The average problem-solving ability score for the B-STAD group reached 78.5, while the control group averaged only 65.3. A two-way ANOVA test produced a p-value of < 0.05, indicating that the B-STAD model significantly improved problem-solving ability. Furthermore, the analysis showed that students’ self-regulation had a correlation coefficient of 0.65 with problem-solving ability, demonstrating a strong positive relationship. Results: The findings conclude that implementing the B-STAD model significantly enhances the problem-solving ability of Elementary School Teacher Education students, with an average increase of 13.2 points compared to traditional learning methods. Conclusion: This study recommends that educators consistently apply the B-STAD model in the learning process while also focusing on developing students’ self-regulation. Therefore, this research provides valuable insights into the effectiveness of innovative learning models for improving educational outcomes.

Abstract

The Covid-19 outbreak has become a pandemic and its massive and relatively fast spread has made various elements change their patterns of life, without exception the world of education. The world of education changes the pattern of the learning system. Changes in learning patterns from face-to-face learning to online learning force teachers to learn quickly. One of them is making an online Learning Implementation Plan (RPP). For this reason, the lecturer team of the PGSD Study Program at the PGRI Adi Buana University Surabaya considers that it is important to carry out the Training to Improve the Competence of Primary School Teachers in the Development of Online Learning Implementation Plans (RPP). The target of this Community Service is teachers at SDN Margorejo I Surabaya City, East Java. The implementation of Community Service (PPM) activities is carried out online through the zoom meeting application. This activity was carried out in September 2020. This Community Service Activity was carried out in the form of training and workshops starting with material exposure, discussions and workshops with lecturer assistance during group work. Implementation of the Community Service program PGSD Study Program at the University of PGRI Adi Buana Surabaya can solve the problem of preparing and developing an Online Learning Implementation Plan. Abstract

Perubahan orientasi pembelajaran pada Era Revolusi Industri 4.0 juga menyebabkan pergeseran orientasi tentang cara belajar. Pembelajaran yang relevan agar peserta didik dapat beradaptasi dengan kebutuhan dan tuntutan pada era Revolusi Industri 4.0 ini adalah pembelajaran yang penuh dengan keterbukaan, memandirikan, dan menumbuhkan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Memaknai Era Revolusi Industri 4.0 yang merupakan era transformasi digital, kegiatan pembelajaran dituntut untuk mengurangi penerapan metode ceramah untuk mentransfer pengetahuan (transfer of knowledge) menerapkan aplikasi pembelajaran berbasis TIK. Untuk itu, berpijak pada pentingnya penerapan pembelajaran berbasis TIK, tim dosen PGSD Adi Buana Surabaya melakukan suatu kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan materi aplikasi pembelajaran tematik berbasis TIK bagi Guru SD Hang Tuah X Sedati. Metode pelaksanaan workshop dengan presentasi, pemodelan dan simulasi disertai tugas. Bahan presentasi adalah tentang penyusunan perangkat pembelajaran tematik berbasis TIK secara umum, dan Penerapan Aplikasi Pembelajaran Tematik Berbasis TIK secara khusus. Berakhirnya pelaksanaan program PPM Program Studi PGSD Universitas PGRI Adi Buana Surabaya yang berjudul ini dapat menyelesaikan permasalahan guru dalam merancang dan mengembangkan, serta mengelaborasi pembelajaran berdasarkan kurikulum merdeka belajar. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan pemahaman berdasarkan presentasi dan tugas yang dilakukan peserta.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemandirian belajar mahasiswa PGSD dalam pembelajaran virtual selama kebijakan pembelajaran jarak jauh diterapkan karena sedang merebaknya virus Covid-19. Proses pembelajaran secara virtual menuntut mahasiswa mampu dan terampil dalam mengatur diri saat kegiatan belajar dalam perkuliahan. Self-regulated learning mahasiswa akan dianalisis dengan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, yang meliputi teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, angket dan dokumen. Responden yang diambil dari mahasisiwa PGSD angkatan 2020 pada semester ganjil 2021/2022 pada mata kuliah Konsep IPS Dasar berjumlah 168 orang. Adapun prosedur penelitian dengan melalui empat tahapan yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan, analisis data dan penulisan laporan. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner secara yang dibagikan secara online melalui Googleform untuk mengetahui respon mahasiswa terkait self regulated learning. Angket berisi 40 butir soal yang mengukur 7 aspek SLR yaitu (1) Perencanaan, pemikiran, dan aktivasi Cognition; (2) Motivation / Affect; (3) Behaviour; (4) Context; (5) Monitoring Cognition; (6) Reaction and Reflection Cognition; (7) Control Cognition. Hasil dan pembahasan dari prolehan data respon mahasiswa telah menunjukan tingkat self-reulated learning mahasiswa masih bisa ditingkatkan, karena terbukti keseluruhan aspek memiliki presentase SLR mahasiswa terbanyak 57,48% pada indikator “sering” dan sedangkan indikator selalu 24,40% saja, Jadi dapat disimpulkan kondisi SLR mahasiswa PGSD UNIPA Surabaya angkatan 2020 dalam pembelajaran virtual bisa dikategorikan dalam tingkat “Sedang”. Sehingga diharapkan SLR mahasiswa bisa ditingkatkan melalui penelitian lanjutan berdasarkan data tersebut.
