Abstract

. ISO 45001:2018 is an international standard for occupational health and safety (OHS) management systems designed to help organizations reduce the risk of workplace accidents and improve a safe and healthy work environment. This research uses a literature review method to explore the implementation of ISO 45001 in various industrial sectors, including construction, manufacturing, chemicals, and food processing. The study results show that the implementation of ISO 45001 has a significant positive impact on reducing workplace accidents, increasing productivity, and strengthening the safety culture. However, the implementation process also faces various challenges, such as limited resources, low commitment from top management, and organizational cultural barriers. Therefore, the success of the implementation requires a strategic, participatory, and sustainable approach.

Abstract

Industrial hygiene management plays a critical role in protecting worker health by controlling exposure to hazardous factors in the workplace. However, many work environments still show suboptimal implementation, leading to increased risks of occupational diseases. This study aims to analyze the implementation of industrial hygiene management systems in improving worker health based on a literature review approach. The method used is a literature review by collecting and analyzing scientific articles from national databases published between 2021 and 2026. A total of ten relevant articles were selected through a systematic screening process based on predefined inclusion criteria. The findings indicate that workplace hazards such as physical, chemical, and ergonomic factors are significantly associated with various health problems, including respiratory disorders, musculoskeletal issues, and work-related fatigue. The implementation of industrial hygiene management systems, including hazard identification, risk control measures, use of personal protective equipment, and environmental monitoring, has been shown to reduce health risks among workers. However, the effectiveness of implementation is influenced by factors such as worker compliance, management commitment, and availability of facilities. These results highlight the importance of a comprehensive and systematic approach to industrial hygiene in maintaining worker health and preventing occupational diseases. Therefore, strengthening the implementation of industrial hygiene management systems is essential to create a safe and healthy working environment and to support sustainable occupational health practices.

Abstract

This study aims to examine emergency preparedness for children with disabilities in facing natural disasters at school. The method used is a literature review, analyzing various sources from journals published between 2019-2024. The results show that emergency preparedness in schools is still not optimal, especially for children with disabilities. The main obstacles include the lack of training, minimal disaster risk reduction educational materials, and limited facilities. Furthermore, data collection on students with disabilities who require special attention in emergency situations has not been comprehensively conducted. Schools play a crucial role in forming inclusive and safe preparedness, but this requires support from various parties, including parents and the community. To enhance preparedness, optimizing disaster preparation programs, improving the quality of training and education, providing adequate facilities, and accurate data collection are necessary. With these measures, it is hoped that disaster preparedness in schools can be improved, thereby minimizing the adverse impacts that may occur.

Abstract

Fishermen are a group of humans who put their hope in the product of the sea. Fatigue experienced by fishermen can result in reduced performance and loss of security, thus endangering the fishermen and others. This literature study aims to obtain information and analyze a burgeoning article with potential work exhaustion against fishermen's work accidents. The methods used to collect information are the methods of literature view through online media sources such as Mendeley, Google Schoolar, publication or publication, and other online media. Based on the articles already collected results, there's a factor contributing to work accidents for fishermen, one of which is work fatigue. Fatigue can cause a drop in awareness of safety and health at work for fishermen and psychosomatic abilities. Fishermen who worked in tired conditions were more likely to have work accidents.

Abstract

Puskesmas is a formal sector that is very likely to occur in the event of a fire disaster.  Workers who work in the formal sector such as puskesmas have a lurking threat that can pose a risk to their work environment. Anticipation of K3 Emergency Response (Occupational Safety and Health) is mandatory. So, it is important for puskesmas to implement K3 and prepare emergency response that can prevent disasters such as fire. The purpose of this article is to find out the analysis of the anticipation of puskesmas on fire disaster emergency response.  The method used to collect information is the literature view methodology through sources from online media such as Mendeley, Google Schoolar, Publish or Perish, and other online media. Based on articles that have been collected from 14 analyzed articles. The results of the literature study analysis were obtained that the human resources of most puskesmas already have a special disaster emergency response team, for the budget using funds from the puskesmas, then in facilities and infrastructure some are sufficient such as alarms, fire detectors, and evacuation support. Anticipation of fires in each puskesmas has carried out the standards of the Ministry of Health.

Abstract

Preparedness is a series of actions taken to anticipate disasters through planning and implementing reasonable and practical actions known as preparedness. One of the Occupational Safety and Health (K3) requirements that must be implemented by health service facilities is preparedness for fire disasters. This literature evaluation aims to assess the level of preparedness of health service facilities in handling crises involving fire. The findings of the literature review show the importance of preparing human resources for fire management education and training, providing fire extinguishers and other fire management related infrastructure, and forming a team of K3 coordinators and fire management experts.

Abstract

Several journals discuss the relationship between knowledge and preparedness in facing natural disasters such as landslides, earthquakes, floods and volcanic eruptions. These studies involve communities, students and villages in various regions in Indonesia. Disaster management laws are also mentioned in several journals. This literature study discusses the level of knowledge and preparedness of society in facing natural disasters such as earthquakes and floods. The research results show that the training and outreach program is effective in increasing community knowledge and preparedness. It is important to raise awareness and conduct training programs to build resilient communities in disaster-prone areas. Community knowledge and preparedness in facing natural disasters is very important to reduce disaster risk. Various studies show that the level of community knowledge and preparedness can influence the effectiveness of responses to disasters. The research method used to study this is survey and retrospective observational techniques. The research results show that people who have a good level of knowledge and preparedness tend to be better prepared to face natural disasters.
