Abstract

CV Cielofood Pratama is a beverage processing business with nutmeg raw materials, located in Bogor City, West Java. The company produces syrups with varying sizes of packaging. The multi-stage production process does not rule out the possibility of irregularities that could cause the product to no longer meet the quality standards we set. In general, business units have a profit goal for business sustainability, by seeking efficiency in operations in order to obtain profitable profits. Analysis of the data shows the difference between corporate policy and the results of the EOQ method. The company usually orders 25 kg of raw materials with a frequency of 120 times per year. However, the EOQ method recommends ordering 144 kg with a frequency of 36 times per year. In addition, there is a significant difference in the total cost of supplies, which is IDR 30,900,000 according to company policy and IDR 10,392,000 according to EOQ method. This study aims to analyze strategies in raw material supply as an effort for supply chain efficiency. Using the Economic Orders Quantity (EOQ) method Reduce storage costs, save space on both storage and workspaces, resolve problems and reduce the risk that raw material supplies may pose.

Abstract

In the era of increasingly rapid globalization, the industrial world is faced with inevitable dynamics. One important aspect in industry is optimal layout planning. The right layout determines the effective placement of production facilities, thereby smoothing the production process and increasing productivity. The current layout of production facilities at Bebeke Om Aris Dramaga is not optimal, causing production inefficiencies and increased costs. This research aims to redesign the layout of facilities at Bebeke Om Aris Dramaga. This research examines the design of alternative layouts at Bebeke Om Aris Dramaga with the aim of increasing productivity. The methods used are Activity Relationship Chart (ARC) and Total Closeness Rating (TCR). Production location calculations are carried out periodically to obtain accurate information. The research results show that the proposed layout has shorter distances between facilities. Apart from that, the resulting service time is more optimal. This change in store layout shows that the new layout is more effective and efficient than the old layout. This is proven by research results which show that the new layout design can reduce the time spent by employees in the production process and service to customers and the distance between facilities and increase the efficiency of employee movement.

Abstract

Groovy Space Coffee and Kitchen is a coffee shop located in the Bogor City area that serves several types of drinks such as coffee and tea and several foods, both snacks and heavy meals. This research aims to optimize the layout of the sitting room at Groovy Space Coffee and Kitchen using the Activity Relationship Chart (ARC) method based on the results of the Total Cleseness Rating (TCR) calculation. The ARC method is used to determine optimal seating space layout arrangements by considering the shape of the room and the available area. Meanwhile, the TCR method is used to overcome potential conflicts in the use of seating space, such as the density of visitors at certain times. The application of these two methods is expected to produce a seating space layout that is efficient, comfortable, and able to better accommodate the number of visitors. The results of this research show that the new layout is more effective and efficient compared to the previous layout with the results showing that the new layout includes additional seating in the outdoor area and also a change in concept from outdoor to semi-outdoor.

Abstract

Perguruan tinggi sebagai tempat insan akademik berkiprah saat ini mengalami berbagai tantangan dan ancaman yang dapat mengganggu fungsinya sebagai pusat pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi (iptek), serta menjadi penjaga keberlanjutan peradaban dan moralitas insan akademik agar tidak terdistorsi dan tererosi. Kemajuan teknologi (khususnya teknologi informasi), dekadensi moral global, tekanan ekonomi, orientasi praktis dan fokus pada pencapaian jangka pendek, perubahan paradigma pendidikan serta iklim ketidakpastian, menjadikan nilai-nilai tradisional perguruan tinggi terancam tergeser menjadi mesin penghasil tenaga kerja semata. Perguruan tinggi, yang seharusnya berperan sebagai benteng terakhir penjaga nilai-nilai akademik, serta sebagai agen perubahan (agent of change) yang berorientasi pada nilai kebaikan dan penjaga nilai moral (guardian of value), perlu jati diri insan akademik yang unggul, sehingga peran dan fungsi perguruan tinggi dapat tetap dipertahankan. Untuk memberikan pertimbangan dalam upaya menjaga tersebut, Policy Brief ini disusun melalui serangkaian proses diskusi anggota tim PAH Jati Diri Insan Akademik dan proses FGD yang melibatkan narasumber internal dan eksternal IPB. Policy Brief ini diakhiri dengan rekomendasi yang dapat diusulkan kepada penyelenggara pendidikan tinggi Indonesia agar fungsi perguruan tinggi dan insan akademik dapat tetap terjaga

Abstract

This study analyzes the efficiency of cow's milk production layout design at PT Waluya Wijaya Farm, located in Cibinong District, Bogor Regency, West Java. Given the importance of cow's milk as a source of calcium for bone growth, plant layout efficiency is crucial to improve productivity. Primary data collection methods involved direct observation and interviews, while data analysis used qualitative and quantitative approaches. The two main methods applied were Activity Relationship Chart (ARC) and Total Closeness Rating (TCR). The ARC method helps in planning the layout of factory facilities based on the level of interaction between activities, while TCR evaluates the level of closeness of each department or facility. The results show that the current layout is not yet efficient, with top priority given to the packing cup facility which has the highest TCR value. This study concludes that PT Waluya Wijaya Farm needs a more efficient layout to increase the productivity of pasteurized cow milk production.

Abstract

Eggs are an important source of animal protein as they contain high quality protein and have high biological value. Egg consumption in Indonesia continues to increase every year. This creates opportunities and competition in the egg market, including in Bogor City. In this context, the selection of the right supplier is key in meeting market demand and increasing the existence of sellers. This research was conducted at Shop Akbar Telur in Bogor Suryakencana Market. Data was collected through direct observation and interviews with the shop owner. The AHP method was used to process qualitative and quantitative data to prioritize suppliers based on price, quality and quantity criteria. The results of the analysis using AHP show that price is the highest criterion in selecting egg suppliers at Akbar Telur, followed by quality and quantity. Suppliers with the highest value for each criterion are SJT1 (price), SJT1 (quality), and SJT1 (quantity). The consistency level of criteria comparison is also acceptable. In selecting egg suppliers, the recommended overall priorities are SJT1, SJT2, and SB. The results of this study contribute to the understanding of supplier selection strategies that can improve store efficiency and performance.

Abstract

Ikan nila merah adalah salah satu jenis ikan tawar dengan ekonomi yang bernilai tinggi. Jarmat Farm merupakan pembudidaya bibit nila yang berada di Kota Bogor. Usaha pembibitan nila merah selalu dihadapi pada risiko. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisis risiko terhadap budidaya bibit ikan nila merah di Jarmat Farm. Pada penelitian ini digunakan metode kualititatif meliputi survei, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen terkait. Hasil analisis risiko menunjukkan beberapa risiko utama, seperti risiko tahap perencanaan, risiko sumber bahan baku, risiko proses budidaya, risiko pengiriman, dan risiko pengembalian barang dari konsumen. Setiap risiko dievaluasi menggunakan metode perhitungan LC (Level Risiko). Berdasarkan temuan ini, hasil menunjukkan tingkatan risiko paling tinggi diperoleh pada tahap pengiriman. Penelitian ini memberikan perbandingan tentang risiko-risiko terkait budidaya ikan nila merah dan menjadi acuan bagi Jarmat Farm mengelola risiko dengan lebih efektif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas tata letak pada ritel Circle-K Lodaya. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi Entity Relationship Chart (ERC) dan Total Closeness Rating (TCR) untuk mengevaluasi permasalahan utama terkait penempatan tata letak yang belum efektif, seperti peletakan display produk dan display air mineral. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui berbagai metode, termasuk observasi, dokumentasi, studi pustaka, jurnal, penelusuran internet, serta dokumen-dokumen pendukung lainnya. Analisis TCR menunjukkan nilai tertinggi pada area kasir, yaitu sebesar 166. Solusi tata letak yang diusulkan dalam penelitian ini mencakup reposisi display produk dan display air mineral, yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi ruang dan memudahkan konsumen dalam memilih produk. Dengan perubahan ini, ruang di dalam toko tidak lagi terlihat sempit, sehingga memberikan pengalaman belanja yang lebih nyaman bagi konsumen. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan bagi ritel lainnya dalam mengoptimalkan tata letak toko untuk meningkatkan kenyamanan dan kepuasan konsumen, serta mendukung efektivitas operasional ritel.
