Abstract

The study aims at knowing the improvement of students science activities through contextual approach at grade V in SDK Colol II Manggarai regency. The study was a classroom action research (CAR). The subject of the study was grade V consist of 19 students. The methods to collect the data were observation, interview and documentation. The data were analyzed through qualitative descriptive method. The result was, based on the analysis, learning achievement in cycle I was 60,08% in category 'quite active'. Then it was improved in cycle II to 88,8% with category 'very good'. In conclusion, the application of contextual approach can improve students learning activities. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD berbantuan media gambar tarian Gawi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas V yang berjumlah 25 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dilaksanakan melalui tes dan observasi. Data dianalisis melalui deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian setelah diterapkan model kooperatif tipe STAD berbantuan media Gambar Tarian Gawi menunjukkan bahwa motivasi belajar mengalami peningkatan. Pada siklus I dengan kriteria baik dan baik sekali sebesar 56% meningkat menjadi 92%  pada siklus II. Nilai rata-rata hasil belajar yang dicapai peserta didik kelas V pada siklus I sebesar 69,8 dengan persentase ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 52%. Pada siklus II, nilai rata-rata hasil belajar yang diperoleh peserta didik meningkat menjadi 84, dengan persentase ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 100%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD berbantuan media gambar tarian gawi dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas V di SDI Ende 14 pada tema lingkungan sahabat kita.

Abstract

The selection of Gomo Toma game media in learning Mathematics is as follows. First, the Gomo Toma game media is a game that is very close to children's lives and is played by children. Second, it is hoped that the Gomo Toma game media can improve the understanding of mathematics concepts for class IIA students in learning mathematics, this is because elementary school students still like to play, so the game approach will be more effective. Third, in the Gomo Tomo game there are competitive, cooperative, and entertainment values. Fourth, there are many positive sides contained in the snake and ladder game, including training in psychomotor development, cognitive, communicative balance so that it is beneficial for the mental development of elementary school age children. 7-12 years This is supported by the opinion of several experts who state how important games are for children. According to Ljublinskaja Games are a reflection of reality, as an initial form of acquiring knowledge. This is also reinforced by Freeman which states that in general, experts agree that playing is an activity that helps children achieve complete development, both physically, intellectually, socially, morally and emotionally. Rofi'uddin states that the use of forms of games in learning will provide a pleasant climate for students, so that the learning process of students is carried out without coercion, but instead with a sense of harmony. In addition, by playing, students can learn in a relaxed manner. In a relaxed way, students' brain cells can develop, which in the end students can absorb information and get a deep impression of the subject matter. Subject matter can be stored continuously in long-term memory.

Abstract

This research aims: (1) to know how to implement natural science learning with demonstration method in grade III children in SDI Tetandara, Ende District. (2) To find out the improvement of natural sciences through demonstration methods in grade III students at SDI Tetandara, Ende District. The type of research used is class action research (CAR) and the subject in the study was a grade III student in SDI Tetandara which amounted to 20 people. Data collection techniques using observation techniques, tests, documentation and interviews. Data is analyzed descriptively by calculating the average and percentage of the submission in each cycle. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion of the results shows that the use of demonstration methods has an influence on the outcome of learning natural sciences, on material objects. This is evident from the teacher's ability to manage student learning outcomes in the learning process. Visible from the Pretest result with an average value obtained value of 48. Then, the student's value increased from the cycle I study results showed the average grade III value was 57 and was in the category enough and the percentage was 35%. In Cycle II Learning, the results gained increased by the percentage of the compensation reached 100% with the average value gained 84.5. This value indicates an increase in the results gained on cycle learning I. These results show that demonstration methods can improve the results of natural Science study on students in class III in SDI Tetandara District of Ende.

Abstract

This research aims to determine how the use of image media to improve learning outcomes on IPA learning in the SDK Ende 3. This research is class action research (CAR). The research subject is grade IV students. Data collection techniques are conducted through observation, test, and documentation. The results showed that student learning results were improved. On the pre test, the average class value was 64.57 and the classification was 34.28% and the average grade rate was increased to 89,42 with the classical dictancy of 100% on the I cycle. Based on the research results can be concluded that the use of image media can improve learning outcomes on natural science learning in the SDK Ende 3.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman guru-guru SDI Ende 7 melalui pelatihan penulisan proposal penelitian tindakan kelas. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di SDI Ende pada bulan april tahun 2022. Peserta kegiatan terdiri dari 15 guru SDI Ende 7. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan terjadinya peningkatan pemahaman peserta kegiatan dan menghasilkan 6 draft proposal penelitian tindakan kelas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara dalam bahasa Inggris pada mahasiswa semester II program studi PGSD Universitas Flores tahun akademik 2021/2022. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Subyek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester II kelas B yang berjumlah 31 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan tes. Data dianalisis dengan cara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berbicara dalam bahasa Inggris mengalami peningkatan, hal ini dapat dilihat dari meningkatnya aktivitas belajar dan hasil belajar. Aktivitas belajar pada siklus I berada pada kriteria cukup dengan persentase 56,52% meningkat menjadi 74,04% pada siklus II dan 80,48% pada siklus III dengan kriteria baik. Hasil belajar pada siklus I sebesar 67,09 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 38,70%. Pada siklus II nilai rata-rata meningkat menjadi 74,51 dan pada siklus III meningkat menjadi 77,90 dengan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 100%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran Talking Stick dengan media gambar dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara dalam bahasa Inggris.

Abstract

Garbage is goods or objects that are thrown away because they are no longer used. Indiscriminate disposal of waste will cause various negative impacts on humans, other living things and for the environment itself. Plastic waste is waste that causes soil and water pollution. Plastic waste cannot be simply thrown into the ground, because it is difficult for microorganisms to decompose in the soil because of its long carbon chain. One way to deal with plastic waste is to carry out the waste recycling process. The purpose of this activity is to provide knowledge and increase the skills of SDI Wolotopo students on how to process plastic waste to reduce air pollution and environmental pollution. The methods used in this community service activity are situation analysis methods, social approaches, problem identification, determining work goals, implementing activities and evaluating activity results. This activity was carried out well. students are able to increase their knowledge and creativity in managing plastic waste into useful items.
