Abstract

Many construction companies still employ their workers without caring about the implementation of accident risks, by paying attention to work safety, it is expected that the performance of the workers will increase. This study aims to analyze the influence of occupational safety and health factors and worker motivation factors that affect the performance of workers in residential construction projects. The relationship between occupational safety and health, worker motivation and worker performance will be made in a path diagram model, and analyzed using SEM-PLS with a sample of 72 respondents. The results of the study found that the dominant factors in occupational safety and health are worker health monitoring, emergencies, personnel selection and placement, and hazard inspections. Meanwhile, the dominant factors that influence the motivation of craftsmen are wages, timely payment, and continuity (job security). In residential construction projects, occupational safety and health have a significant positive effect (P <0.0.5) on the motivation of craftsmen, in addition, worker motivation also has a significant positive effect on worker performance. In addition, occupational safety and health also have a significant positive effect directly on worker performance.

Abstract

The Road Infrastructure Development Acceleration Program that has been launched by the Serang Regency Government in the 2017 fiscal year to the 2021 fiscal year, In the implementation of road improvement work in Serang Regency, a working length of 100 kilometers per year has been set for 5 budget years starting from the 2017-2021 fiscal year, the implementation of road improvement work in Serang Regency until the end of 2021 the remaining 20 kilometers due to changes in road length and increase in the volume of work in the field. This study analyzes the factors of additional costs incurred on road improvement work in Serang Regency by identifying the factors causing the cost increase from the largest to smallest factors data collection methods through questionnaires and interviews addressed to contractor personnel with validity, reliability and correlation tests used for data processing, while descriptive analysis is used for data analysis using Jeffreys Amazing Statistics Program (JASP) version 0.16.2 and Relative Importance Index (RII) are expected with this method to determine the factors causing additional costs in road improvement work. The highest level factor was identified as causing the additional cost of implementing Serang Regency road improvement work, namely Volume Changes (Technical Factors) with an RII index value of 0.715.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of building construction projects in the implementation of SMK3 using the Lean Construction (LC) method. The urgency of the study was to review the implementation of safe and correct work procedures in construction work projects carried out in building construction. The main purpose of implementing this method is to optimize financial operations, prevent loss of time, and minimize work accidents that result in waste through prevention efforts by considering various triggers as applied in the LC technique. The research method is carried out using a mixed-methods approach. The sample in the study includes 5 construction buildings, and 5 sources to obtain interview data. The LC implementation approach to SMK 3 is carried out through the 5S management system and the Last Planner System (LPS). The results of the study indicate that the planning carried out encompasses several aspects, including team socialization implementation. The results obtained were that construction projects carried out through the LC method, through the 5S management system approach, and LPS were proven to be able to optimize and make construction projects work effectively. The evaluation revealed that the evaluation process carried out by PT utilizes risk management and RIMS (Risk Management Plan), and has the potential to minimize the risk of loss and work-related accidents in construction projects.

Abstract

The long-term success of theme parks is highly dependent on the integration of robust structural quality and exceptional service delivery. This study examines the influence of strategic landscape planning—using the THEMEQUAL framework—on project outcomes, focusing on BSD City Theme Park, Indonesia. Utilizing Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) on responses from 400 theme park visitors, findings show that both structural quality (β = 0.36, p < 0.001) and service quality (β = 0.41, p < 0.001) have strong, significant effects on visitor satisfaction. Visitor satisfaction, in turn, is a significant predictor of project success (β = 0.47, p < 0.001), mediating the effects of both structural and service quality. Indirect (mediation) effects account for 62% of the total influence on project success. These results demonstrate that improved construction robustness and service standards significantly elevate satisfaction (mean index = 4.18/5), visitor loyalty, and positive word-of-mouth, underpinning sustainable project viability. Practical implications highlight that integrating strategic landscape planning and superior service quality is essential for achieving sustained competitive advantage in Indonesia’s growing theme park sector.

Abstract

Munculnya novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pada akhir tahun 2019 telah berubah dari epidemi menjadi bencana pandemi pada tahun 2020 dan memberikan dampak yang besar pada seluruh sektor khususnya konstruksi, dimana salah satunya adalah pembangunan Jalan Kereta Api Makassar-Parepare. Akibatnya, waktu pelaksanaan kontrak pekerjaan yang awalnya direncanakan selama 18 bulan yang ditandatangani pada bulan September 2019 sebelum pandemi Covid-19. Setelah pandemi pelaksanaan pekerjaan mengalami keterlambatan yang bervariasi antara 6-22 bulan sehingga waktu pelaksanaan pekerjaan bertambah menjadi 24-40 bulan, yang disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor yang terjadi akibat pandemi covid-19. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor dominan yang mempengaruhi kinerja waktu proyek tersebut. Metode penelitian dengan pendekatan metode kuantitatif yang diukur menggunakan skala Likert, sedangkan teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Kemudian dianalisis menggunakan metode Relative Importance Index (RII). Penelitian ini menguji 15 faktor yang berpotensi mempengaruhi kinerja waktu proyek, hasil penelitian ini mengidentifikasi lima faktor yang memiliki pengaruh paling signifikan terhadap kinerja waktu proyek, yaitu: kelangkaan material atau kekurangan pasokan, gangguan dalam perencanaan dan penjadwalan, kinerja peralatan yang tidak optimal, fluktuasi mendadak dalam bahan konstruksi, dan penundaan pasokan material atau masalah logistik.

Abstract

Proyek pembangunan jalan kereta api tidak terlepas dari risiko, baik pada pra konstruksi, pelaksanaan konstruksi, maupun pasca konstruksi. Proyek pembangunan jalan kereta api lintas Padang – Pariaman terjadi keterlambatan pekerjaan dan tiga kali adendum biaya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi risiko biaya serta mencari respon risiko guna meminimalisasi terjadinya dampak risiko proyek tersebut. Metode ilmiah yang digunakan adalah metode Analytic Hierarchy Process. Metode Analytic Hierarchy Process digunakan untuk menentukan prioritas risiko yang sangat berdampak. Adapun kelebihan Analytic Hierarchy Process adalah sebelum menentukan alternatif mana yang akan dipilih, metode ini dapat menentukan tingkat kepentingannya terlebih dahulu untuk mendapatkan nilai bobot prioritas. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui tiga risiko yang mempunyai bobot tertinggi yaitu kenaikan harga bahan bangunan dengan nilai bobot 0,358, kesalahan estimasi biaya dengan nilai bobot 0,178 dan perubahan kebijakan harga BBM dengan nilai bobot 0,151. Respons risiko kenaikan harga bahan bangunan dan perubahan kebijakan harga BBM yaitu jika kenaikan harga bahan bangunan mencapai 5% dari harga awal, hal ini masih dalam batas risiko kontraktor. Jika kenaikan harga lebih dari 10-15%, maka perlu dilakukan peninjauan kembali atau eskalasi, dan nilai kontrak yang disepakati sudah termasuk biaya kemungkinan akibat kenaikan dan penurunan biaya yang lain, respon risiko untuk kesalahan estimasi biaya yaitu dengan melakukan pendekatan perbandingan data pasar dalam estimasi.

Abstract

Standar Pelayanan Minimal jalan tol sangat diperlukan untuk menjamin tercapainya kenyamanan, kelancaran, dan keselamatan berlalu lintas bagi pengguna jalan tol. Standar Pelayanan Minimal yang mengacu kepada Peraturan Menteri Pekerjaan Umum Nomor 16/PRT/M/2014 berlaku untuk seluruh jalan tol di Indonesia. Monitoring dan evaluasi terhadap pemenuhan          Standar Pelayanan Minimal jalan tol ini sudah dilakukan secara rutin, namun masih banyak ditemukan beberapa indikator yang belum dipenuhi oleh Badan Usaha Jalan Tol. Penelitian  ini bertujuan mencari tahu hubungan kinerja SPM terhadap kepuasan pengguna jalan tol di wilayah Jabodetabek. Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan hasil kuisioner yang dilakukan pada 14 ruas jalan tol pada tahun 2021. Tingkat kepuasan pengguna tertinggi adalah Petunjuk Jalan (perambuan, marka jalan, guide post/reflektor, patok kilometer, dan patok hektometer) dengan rata-rata skor skala Likert (4,058), kemudian disusul oleh Kebersihan (4,006), dan Kecepatan Transaksi Rata-rata (3,904). Tiga indikator SPM jalan tol dengan tingkat kepuasan pengguna paling adalah Toilet pada TI dan TIP dengan rata-rata skor skala Likert (3,431), kemudian disusul oleh Jumlah Antrian Kendaraan (di Gardu Tol) (3,532), dan On/Off Ramp pada TI dan TIP (3,562).

Abstract

Modern and cultural heritage buildings’ safety is mandatory. The damage they suffered, especially the heritage buildings, requires the owners and managers to further improve the supervision of the safety aspects. This study aims to identify, assess, and respond to the safety risk of the heritage buildings. This research was conducted in Jakarta utilizing interviews and questionnaires to identify the risks. Experts and other respondents were deliberately chosen were chosen according to their experience. The risks were analyzed by the probability and weight matrices. This study reveals three high risks and provides the solution to reduce the risk. In addition to academic benefits, the findings are beneficial for the owners and suggest the government carry out risk management.

Abstract

Currently, the Indonesian government continues to encourage the realization of sustainable development. The green concept is a sustainable development trend in the construction material industry. The concrete industry plays a vital role as a supplier of concrete materials in construction, so its availability is essential. The role of concrete industry itself has a negative impact on the environment. Stakeholders increase the cost of green retrofitting so that the industry or building becomes eco-friendly. The research method was carried out using a process case study, namely, how to implement green retrofitting cost performance in the concrete industry using Value Engineering and Life Cycle Cost Analysis. Theoretically, the research results provide additional knowledge for academics; practitioners can provide problem-solving to get an overview of the implementation of the green concept in the industry regarding the flow of implementation and the benefits of savings in an environmentally friendly production process. The application of value engineering in the green retrofitting of the concrete industry has increased the cost performance of green retrofitting by 8.66% with a return of 3 years and 8 months and increased the functions and benefits of an eco-friendly and sustainable concrete industry

Abstract

Ketersediaan infrastruktur jalan tol yang memadai adalah syarat mutlak bagi pengembangan suatu wilayah dan pertumbuhan ekonomi. Pelaksanaan konstruksi sering terjadi mundur waktu pelaksanan dan peningkatan biaya proyek. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor risiko yang mempengaruhi kinerja waktu pelaksanaan proyek dan kinerja biaya proyek serta agar dapat menerapkan PMBOK dalam aspek manajemen risiko untuk menekan kinerja waktu dan biaya proyek. Metode penelitian pada proyek Jalan Tol Jakarta Cikampek II Selatan berdasarkan literatur jurnal, pendapat pakar dan wawancara, survey serta kuesioner di proyek Jalan Tol Japek II Selatan Paket III. Analisis data menggunakan program Structural Equation Modeling (SEM Smart PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan faktor risiko yang mempengaruhi kinerja waktu adalah variabel Perencanaan dan Pelaksanaan pada indikator kesiapan lahan proyek yang ditunjukkan pada keterlambatan proyek dari kontrak awal yang berakhir pada bulan Desember 2020. Faktor risiko yang mempengaruji kinerja biaya adalah risiko kesiapan lahan berdampak pada perubahan harga yang terjadi peningkatan biaya hingga 2%, sedangkan Pelaksanan K3 menyebabkan timbulnya biaya santunan, penghentian proyek sementara dan biaya lainya. Berdasarkan analisis SEM PLS pengaruh kinerja waktu pada kinerja biaya oleh proses perencanaan dan pelaksanaan, penerapan K3 dan Penerapan PMBOK. Kesimpulan penelitian bahwa faktor risiko yang mempengaruhi kinerja biaya dan waktu adalah proses perencanaan yang kurang baik diantaranya adalah keterlambatan kesiapan lahan yang menimbulkan mundurnya waktu pelaksanaan, perubahan harga dan berakibat pada peningkatan biaya proyek. Perlu perapan Manajemen Risiko sesuai pedoman PMBOK dalam setiap proyek konstruksi Jalan Tol agar dapat mengurangi tingkat risiko kinerja biaya dan waktu proyek.
