Abstract

Pelatihan penulisan karya ilmiah bagi guru mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia tingkat SMA dalam kelompok guru MGMP (musyawarah guru mata pelajaran) di Kabupaten Bandung Barat, Jawa Barat, dilakukan dalam jenjang berkelanjutan. Artinya, pelatihan ini tidak dilaksanakan sekali jadi. Ada banyak program setelah pengabdian ini, yakni proses evaluasi dan proses pendampingan penulisan karya ilmiah bagi guru-guru MGMP Bahasa Indonesia di Kabupaten Bandung Barat, Jawa Barat. Upaya ini dilakukan karena didasari oleh kebutuhan bagi guru dalam memahami karya ilmiah sebagai sebuah kebutuhan dan kompetensi yang diharuskan sebagai pendidik profesional di sekolah. Kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah upaya memberikan penataran kepada para guru tentang teknik menulis karya ilmiah sekaligus menghasilkan karya ilmiah dengan baik dan benar. Salah satu upaya untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut adalah pemberian pelatihan secara intensif kepada para guru tentang teknik menulis karya ilmiah. Pemberian pelatihan secara intensif tersebut dimaksudkan untuk membantu memberikan pencerahan dalam memahami dan mempraktikkan secara langsung teknik menulis karya ilmiah. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan terhadap para guru yang tergabung dalam kelompok guru MGMP Bahasa Indonesia di Kabupaten Bandung Barat, Jawa Barat. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah melakukan pelatihan menulis karya ilmiah secara intensif. Hasil dari kegiatan ini, kemampuan guru yang tergabung dalam kelompok guru MGMP Bahasa Indonesia mengalami peningkatan signifikan. Hasil tersebut dapat dilihat dari kemampuan para guru memahami dan mempraktikkan teknik menulis karya ilmiah.

Abstract

This study has the aim of developing a powtoon media on student career maturity. In this study using the Research and Development (R&D) method using a model from Brog and Gall. The subjects in this study were students of class X. The results of the study were 1. Product development stage a) Phase I Preliminary study. b) Phase II includes product design, product validation, product revision, product testing. 2. The eligibility of material experts, media experts, and practitioners gets a score in the "Very Eligible" category. 3. Responses from students in the limited and broad trials got scores in the "Very Eligible" category. 4. Product feasibility from material experts, media experts, practitioners and students that powtoon media is very feasible and can be used. It can be concluded that the powtoon media on the career maturity of class X students is very feasible and can be used.

Abstract

Humans are motivated to maintain life and continue to develop for the better. As well as self-potential, self-potential is very important to develop students' skills and abilities, while delivering information on self-potential using digital poster media as a means of information that can be accessed easily. This article aims to find out the feasibility of developing digital poster media on the potential of class VIII SMP NEGERI 2 Padalarang students, using the research & development (RnD) method, with one of the stages used, namely the validation stage. The subjects of this research were two counseling guidance lecturers from IKIP Siliwangi as media and material validators and counseling guidance teachers at SMPN 2 Padalarang. The instrument is a validation questionnaire with descriptive statistical analysis in the form of percentage descriptive. The results of the study show that the material expert's feasibility test is 96.66% in the very feasible category, the media aspect based on the expert validator is 96.42% in the very feasible category, and the media and material aspect based on the practitioner is 93% in the very feasible category. That way, all aspects that are assessed get a very worthy category to be tested on students.

Abstract

The current development of technological life has a serious impact on various aspects of life, one of which is education. In 21st-century learning, it is important to package learning innovatively so that it is not monotonous and avoids the memorization method that was dominant in education in the past. This research was carried out to determine and describe the optimization of the Canva application as a learning medium for students' learning interests. The qualitative descriptive research method, the data collection technique was carried out using a saturated sampling technique. Class This research collects data using a non-test approach, namely through questionnaires, which aims to collect information related to students' learning interest in Indonesian language subjects. The data is processed and analyzed by taking the average of the percentage of student responses for each statement in the questionnaire. The research results show that using the Canva application for learning videos is very suitable for learning Indonesian, especially in the material of constructing observation report text which requires in-depth understanding. This statement is strengthened by questionnaire data which informs that the majority of students show attention, interest, and feelings of enjoyment with almost all students' involvement in learning.

Abstract

Kegiatan embarkasi dan debarkasi penumpang di pelabuhan merupakan aspek kritis dalam sektor maritim yang memerlukan perhatian serius untuk meningkatkan keamanan dan keselamatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi risiko kecelakaan yang mungkin terjadi selama proses embarkasi dan debarkasi di Pelabuhan Makassar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan pendekatan penelitian lapangan (field research) di mana peneliti terjun langsung ke lokasi untuk mengumpulkan data. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan fishbone analisis untuk mengidentifikasi masalah dan mengidentifikasi penyebab utama. Subjek penelitian ini ditentukan secara purposive, yang melibatkan petugas pelabuhan dan penumpang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat berbagai risiko, termasuk kondisi cuaca yang buruk, keterbatasan infrastruktur, dan kurangnya pelatihan bagi petugas. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan peningkatan fasilitas pelabuhan, pelatihan rutin untuk petugas, serta implementasi prosedur keamanan yang lebih ketat untuk meminimalkan risiko kecelakaan. Dengan langkah-langkah tersebut, diharapkan keamanan dan keselamatan selama kegiatan embarkasi dan debarkasi penumpang dapat ditingkatkan.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to examine the key determinants of employee performance in the Indonesian maritime sector, particularly among ship crew members. The factors analyzed include training, work motivation, transformational leadership, and organizational culture, with the goal of understanding how these variables contribute to enhancing crew effectiveness, discipline, and productivity. Research Methodology: A descriptive qualitative approach using the SALSA (Search, Appraisal, Synthesis, and Analysis) framework was employed. A total of 30 peer-reviewed articles from academic databases published within the last eight years were systematically reviewed. The study used theoretical triangulation by applying established models such as Human Capital Theory, Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, Bass’s Transformational Leadership, and Hofstede’s Organizational Culture Framework. Results: The findings reveal that training improves job competence, work quality, and accountability; motivation enhances commitment and timeliness; transformational leadership fosters trust, innovation, and responsibility; and organizational culture strengthens discipline, teamwork, and loyalty. Each variable positively influences employee performance in the maritime context. Conclusions: Investments in human resource factors particularly training, motivation, leadership, and organizational culture are crucial for enhancing the performance of maritime personnel. These factors serve as strategic levers to improve safety, operational efficiency, and service quality in the shipping industry. Limitations: The study is limited to secondary data from literature published in English and Bahasa Indonesia, lacks empirical field validation, and does not explore the interaction effects among the variables. Contribution: This study contributes conceptually by offering a synthesized framework linking human resource variables to maritime performance, thereby guiding future empirical research and managerial interventions in crew development and organizational transformation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop a general description of the achievement motivation of Grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Batujajar, as well as the differences between male and female students. Achievement motivation is a desire within a person that encourages him to strive for a standard or measure of excellence (Mc Clelland, 1987). The subjects of this study were 40 students of class VIII who were selected as research subjects using a purposive sampling technique. This study uses a quantitative method with a quantitative descriptive research design. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, questionnaires, or questionnaires, as well as measurement tools based on McClelland's achievement motivation theory (1987). Overall student achievement motivation has an average score of 106 with a percentage of 68%, and there are differences in achievement motivation between male and female students, with male students having an average score of 97 with a percentage of 62% and female students having an average score -an average of 117 with a percentage of 75%.

Abstract

Abstract : In the context of the @aabelkarimy TikTok account, semiotic analysis can help identify and analyze religious symbols, religious signs, or cultural references used in da'wah videos to strengthen messages and influence audiences. TikTok is a social media platform focused on short video content. In this context, visual communication is very important to convey da'wah messages. Semiotic analysis helps to understand the visual signs used in videos, such as body movements, facial expressions, or visual symbols, to describe and interpret da'wah messages. Da’wah messages often have deeper and more complex meanings, especially when conveyed through social media such as TikTok. Semiotic analysis helps to analyze the signs used in da'wah videos and relate them to the context of culture, religion or related values to understand the meaning of the message to be conveyed. This study aims to describe da'wah messages in the form of aqidah, sharia and moral messages. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach and uses Charles Sanders Pierse's semiotic analysis theory, known as the triadic concept, to find out the representanment, interpretant, and objects in the signs on the video account of the tiktok @aabelkarimi. The results of the study show that there are da'wah messages contained in the @aabelkarimy tiktok account. The da'wah message includes aspects of aqidah, shari'ah, morals. In the aspect of aqidah there are da'wah messages in the form of; faith in God includes the belief that humans are weak creatures created by God, lacking and limited. In the aspect of shari'ah there is a message about the obligation of preaching to the authorities. Whereas in the moral aspect there is a message in the form of a recommendation to have a qanaah attitude in life. Abstract

Pernikahan usia dini di Kecamatan Krucil, Kabupaten Probolinggo, menjadi masalah serius yang berdampak negatif pada kesehatan reproduksi remaja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran remaja mengenai kesehatan reproduksi melalui pembentukan komunitas "Radar Kepo" dengan pendekatan Community-Based Research (CBR). Metode yang digunakan melibatkan kuesioner dengan 60 siswa MTs Zainul Hasan 3 Krucil untuk mengukur pengetahuan, sikap, dan perilaku mereka terkait kesehatan reproduksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 53,3% siswa memiliki pengetahuan yang kurang baik, sementara 66,7% menunjukkan sikap yang cukup, dan 85% memiliki perilaku yang tidak mendukung kesehatan reproduksi. Sebagai langkah intervensi, dibentuk kader "Radar Kepo" yang bertugas menyampaikan edukasi kesehatan reproduksi kepada teman sebaya dan masyarakat. Program ini berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa tentang pentingnya menjaga kesehatan reproduksi, mengubah perilaku mereka, serta mendorong pencegahan pernikahan dini. Kesimpulannya, pendekatan berbasis komunitas (CBR) melalui kader "Radar Kepo" terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman remaja tentang kesehatan reproduksi dan memiliki potensi untuk menurunkan angka pernikahan dini di wilayah tersebut secara berkelanjutan. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model bagi daerah lain dalam mengatasi isu kesehatan reproduksi remaja.

Abstract

Transformasi pendidikan di era digital menuntut pendekatan pembelajaran yang lebih kreatif dan inovatif guna mewujudkan Kurikulum Merdeka. Workshop ini merupakan bagian dari kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PPM) Pascasarjana IKIP Siliwangi yang dilaksanakan di Kabupaten Bandung Barat pada tahun 2024. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk membekali pendidik dengan strategi efektif dalam mengembangkan metode pembelajaran yang adaptif, berbasis teknologi, dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan peserta didik. Dengan mengedepankan prinsip diferensiasi, eksplorasi, dan kolaborasi, Workshop ini menghadirkan berbagai teknik inovatif dalam pengajaran, termasuk pemanfaatan platform digital, pembelajaran berbasis proyek, serta strategi asesmen formatif yang mendukung pengembangan kompetensi siswa secara holistik. Melalui sesi interaktif, peserta akan mendapatkan wawasan tentang implementasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran, mulai dari penggunaan media interaktif, kecerdasan buatan dalam pendidikan hingga gamifikasi sebagai alat untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa. Selain itu, Workshop ini juga akan membahas tantangan dan solusi dalam menerapkan pembelajaran inovatif di berbagai konteks sekolah. Diharapkan, hasil dari Workshop ini dapat meningkatkan kompetensi pendidik dalam mengadaptasi metode pembelajaran yang lebih relevan dan efektif sesuai dengan semangat Kurikulum Merdeka, sehingga mampu menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih fleksibel, menarik, dan berpusat pada kebutuhan peserta didik.
