Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has significantly transformed education and language learning by creating more interactive, personalized, and adaptive learning environments. Within the field of English for Specific Purposes (ESP), especially for accounting students, there is an increasing need for learning modules that combine discipline-based content with advanced educational technology. However, existing resources remain limited and often fail to meet the specific linguistic and professional demands of vocational learners. This study aimed to design and evaluate an AI-based English module tailored to the needs of accounting students. Employing a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation), the research involved need analysis, expert validation, small-group testing, and field implementation. The findings revealed that the module achieved a high feasibility rating from experts (87.2%), significantly improved students’ English achievement (from a pre-test mean of 62.4 to a post-test mean of 80.7, p < 0.05), and received positive responses from users. Most students reported improved comprehension of accounting terms, enhanced confidence in professional communication, and satisfaction with AI-integrated features such as chatbot interaction and speech recognition. These results indicate that the AI-based module is pedagogically effective, technologically interactive, and contextually relevant to vocational English education. Theoretically, this study contributes to ESP pedagogy, while practically, it offers a model for integrating AI-assisted learning in higher education contexts.

Abstract

Millennial families in rural areas play an important role in driving the digital economy but still face gaps in financial literacy and access to digital financial services. This study aims to analyse the effect of Digital Financial Literacy (DFL) on Financial Well-Being (FWB) through Spending Behavior, Saving Behavior, and Investment Behavior among millennial families in rural areas of Lumajang, East Java. The research employed a quantitative survey method involving 400 respondents selected using quota sampling and analyzed with PLS-SEM. The results indicate that DFL does not directly affect FWB but has an indirect effect through the mediating variables of spending, saving, and investment behaviors. These findings highlight the importance of enhancing digital financial literacy accompanied by positive changes in financial behavior to improve the financial well-being of millennial families in rural areas

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of the inquiry method in teaching Maharah Qiro’ah for beginner-level (mubtadi’) students and to explore its implications for educational management in course institutions. The study employed a qualitative approach using a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design at Lembaga Insan Kamil Probolinggo. Primary data sources included students and teachers, collected through observations, interviews, and learning documentation. Data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s techniques, including data reduction, presentation, and verification. The findings indicate that implementing the inquiry method significantly enhances students’ Maharah Qiro’ah skills, promoting more fluent and accurate Arabic reading and deeper comprehension of the text. Moreover, the method fosters students’ critical and analytical thinking in line with their cognitive development stages. From an educational management perspective, the inquiry method encourages active learning environments, improves teaching effectiveness, and provides a structured approach for monitoring and evaluating student progress. Therefore, the inquiry method not only serves as an effective instructional strategy for Maharah Qiro’ah but also contributes to the improvement of educational quality and management practices in course institutions.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has created new opportunities and challenges for rural communities, particularly in improving digital literacy and communication skills. In Desa Selok Anyar, members of the Family Welfare Empowerment (PKK) group still face limited understanding of English-based digital platforms, which hinders their participation in the village digitalization program. This community service activity aimed to empower PKK members through training on the use of English-based digital platforms to support the realization of a digital village. The methods applied included socialization, workshops, mentoring, and evaluation. The results showed a significant improvement in participants’ ability to operate digital applications, understand English terms commonly used in online platforms, and promote local products more effectively. In addition, the participants demonstrated increased confidence in utilizing technology to support economic and tourism activities in the village. This program successfully enhanced digital literacy and English competence among PKK members, contributing to sustainable community empowerment and the development of a digital-based village.

Abstract

 Contemporary education is increasingly required to cultivate learners who are not only cognitively competent but also morally grounded and socially responsible. Project-Based Learning (PBL) has gained prominence as a pedagogical approach that promotes contextual, collaborative, and experiential learning. This article critically examines PBL through the philosophical lens of amal saleh, which conceptualises knowledge as an integrated relationship between understanding, ethical values, and concrete action oriented towards the common good. Employing a conceptual–philosophical literature review, this study analyses scholarly works on PBL, character education, and transformative education. The analysis reveals a strong philosophical convergence between PBL and the concept of amal saleh, manifested through three interrelated dimensions: the epistemic dimension, emphasising reflective and meaningful knowledge construction; the ethical dimension, focusing on the internalisation of moral values and social responsibility; and the transformative action dimension, highlighting the application of knowledge through socially impactful practices. These findings suggest that PBL extends beyond its function as an instructional strategy to operate as a form of educational praxis that integrates knowledge, values, and action. The study underscores the necessity of reinforcing ethical and action-oriented dimensions in educational practice to ensure that learning contributes to equitable and sustainable social transformation.

Abstract

Posyandu merupakan lini strategis utama di masyarakat untuk memberikan layanan kesehatan ibu dan anak. Namun, pemanfaatan layanan posyandu oleh ibu masih belum maksimal yang tercermin dari angka prevalensi stunting yang cukup tinggi serta belum meratanya cakupan imunisasi. Kurang optimalnya pemanfaatan layanan posyandu dapat dipengaruhi oleh informasi negatif yang didapat dari sosial media sebagai tempat untuk menyampaikan opini dan pengalaman terhadap posyandu. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan penelitian untuk menganalisis sentimen masyarakat terhadap posyandu di media sosial menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran mesin, sehingga didapatkan gambaran sentimen secara umum mengenai layanan posyandu. Penelitian ini memanfaatkan data media sosial dari Youtube dan X tentang layanan posyandu. Dataset yang didapatkan diproses melalui tahapan pra-pemrosesan dasar, anotasi manual oleh dua annotator independen, serta pengukuran kesepakatan menggunakan Cohen’s Kappa sebagai upaya mendapatkan dataset yang reliabel. TF-IDF kemudian diaplikasikan untuk mendapatkan vektor numerik. Selanjutkan dilakukan klasifikasi oleh model SVM, dengan Naïve Bayes, Logistic Regression, dan Random Forest sebagai model pembanding. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pendekatan SVM menghasilkan performa tertinggi dengan akurasi 81%. Kelas sentimen positif dapat diklasifikasikan dengan baik oleh model, sementara kinerja pada sentimen negatif masih belum optimal. Hal ini diduga disebabkan oleh keterbatasan jumlah data sentimen negatif. Dari hasil pengujian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa analisis sentimen berbasis SVM mampu memberikan gambaran persepsi publik terhadap layanan posyandu secara efektif. Hal ini dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai acuan evaluasi layanan kesehatan masyarakat oleh pemangku kepentingan terkait.

Abstract

Sindrom Koroner Akut (SKA) merupakan penyakit kegawatdaruratan dimana terjadi penyempitan pembuluh darah koroner sehingga aliran darah menuju otot jantung mengalami penurunan secara mendadak. Penyakit SKA memicu peningkatan stres dan perubahan parameter hemodinamik pada pasien. Terapi pengelolaan tingkat stres dan parameter hemodinamik pada pasien SKA menggunakan terapi nonfarmakologis, yaitu pemberian aromaterapi dengan minyak esensial melissa. Studi kasus bertujuan untuk melakukan penerapan pemberian aromaterapi dengan minyak esensial melissa terhadap tingkat stres dan parameter hemodinamik pada pasien SKA di RSUD K.R.M.T Wongsonegoro Semarang. Studi kasus menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan proses keperawatan. Pemberian aromaterapi dilakukan selama 1 hari dalam 1 kali penerapan selama 90 menit. Tingkat stres diukur dengan kuesioner State Trait Anxiety Inventory Trait (STAI-T). Intervensi dilakukan dengan meneteskan 2 tetes minyak aroma esensial melissa pada patch dan menempelkannya pada masker medis yang diberikan kepada pasien. Tekanan Darah (TD) dan frekuensi detak jantung diukur per 10 menit saat pemberian aromaterapi. Hasil studi kasus menunjukkan bahwa terjadi penurunan tingkat stres dan penurunan TD, serta penurunan frekuensi detak jantung. Subjek 1 setelah dilakukan penerapan tingkat  stresnya menurun menjadi skor 40 (stres ringan), TD 120/60 mmHg, dan frekuensi detak jantung 85 x/menit. Subjek 2 setelah dilakukan penerapan skor tingkat stres menurun menjadi skor 35 (stres ringan), TD 104/50 mmHg, dan frekuensi detak jantung 82 x/menit. Subjek 3 setelah dilakukan penerapan skor tingkat stres mengalami penurunan menjadi skor 38 (stres ringan), TD 98/50 mmHg, dan frekuensi detak jantung 67 x/menit. Terapi aromaterapi dengan minyak esensial melissa dapat mengelola tingkat stres dan parameter hemodinamik pada pasien SKA.
