Abstract

Rice is the main staple food in Indonesia, and Sidenreng Rappang District contributes significantly to rice production in South Sulawesi Province. However, rice distribution in this area faces significant challenges, including long marketing channels and high marketing margins, which disadvantage farmers. The Muhammadiyah United Economic Assembly plays an important role in optimizing distribution channels, providing access to financing to farmers, and facilitating cooperation between farmers and marketing institutions. This research used observation, interview, and documentation methods, with primary and secondary data. The results showed that the marketing margin of rice in Sidenreng Rappang District reached IDR 23,650/kg, with the largest profits enjoyed by wholesalers and retailers. Improving more efficient distribution channels can reduce marketing margins and improve farmers' welfare. Therefore, the role of the Economic Assembly of Muhammadiyah Association is crucial in creating a more efficient trade system and improving the economic welfare of the people in Sidenreng Rappang District.

Abstract

Reconstruction of the road section uses the flexible pavement method where aggregate material is the main component of the structure. Choosing the right aggregate gradation and meeting the specification requirements will greatly determine the quality of the road. This research aims to determine the characteristics of aggregate gradation sourced from stock files and compare the results of aggregate gradation analysis of job mix design planning consultants. The method uses laboratory testing. Aggregate wear test results 2-3 = 5.36%, 1-2 = 6.14%. The absorption value of aggregate 2-3 = 0.87%, 1-2 = 1.79%, 0.5 - 1 = 1.80% and stone ash = 2.27%. Values of dry specific gravity, SSD specific gravity, and apparent specific gravity of aggregate 2-3 = 2.73, 2.69, 2.66, 1-2 = 2.72, 2.64, 2.62 0.5- 1 = 2.70, 2.62, 2.58, rock ash = 2, 53, 2.59, 2.69. These values meet the requirements of the 2018 Bina Marga specifications, 2nd revision. The comparison of the results of the field aggregate gradation test analysis with the results of the job mix design analysis is the same because the aggregates tested come from the same stock file. The results of the sieve analysis test showed that the coarse aggregate fineness modulus of 2-3, 1-2, and 0.5 - 1 did not meet the specification standards, while the fine aggregate for stone ash did. The value that does not meet is caused by not paying attention to the additional note that the coarse aggregate retained on the 1" sieve is ±6%.

Abstract

Land transportation as a means of inter-city transportation has the advantage of being able to distribute people and goods with a larger capacity and relatively cheaper costs. The aim of this research is to determine the characteristics of onion transportation, performance, distribution time and the purpose of distributing the onion harvest in Enrekang Regency. This research used a quantitative method, which was carried out for 1 month, namely in September-October 2022 in Enrekang Regency, South Sulawesi, using SPSS analysis. The results of the research show that the characteristics of the 240 respondents were all men, with the most widely used vehicle brand being the Mitsubishi 4-wheeled type (medium truck), the most frequent distribution time range was between 10-15 times a month with an average speed of 50- 60 km/hour, departure time between 10:00 – 15:00 WITA, and arriving around 15:00 – 18:00 WITA, distance over 100 Km, and the longest loading time is over 120 minutes, with the aim of distribution most often to exporters with a percentage of 57.08%, while for distribution areas outside Enrekang Regency the most frequently is Parepare City with a percentage of 46.25%.

Abstract

Passenger comfort in using public transportation is the main factor in satisfaction with the transportation services used. This lack of satisfaction will affect the use of transportation services which will reduce the income from transportation services. The aim of this research is to determine the characteristics, level of passenger/customer satisfaction based on (reliability, assurance, tangibles, empathy, responsiveness) and factors that influence the level of passenger satisfaction. This research uses a quantitative method, which was carried out in September-November 2022 at a tourist bus shelter in Tana Toraja Regency using SPSS analysis. The results of the research show that the analysis of 5 dimensions, namely tangibles (physical evidence) 0.131, reliability (reliability) 0.084, responsiveness (responsiveness) 0.082, confidence (belief) 0.117, empathy (attention) 0.0120. The most influential factor is the tangibles dimension (physical evidence), which is 0.131.

Abstract

Kabupaten Sidenreng Rappang, Sulawesi Selatan-Indonesia  memiliki lahan persawahan yang luas, jaringan jalan yang belum terhubung, kondisi jalan yang rusak  yang sulit dilalui kendaraan,  berdampak pada kelancaran aktivitas pengangkutan hasil pertanian. Sehingga tidak sedikit masyarakat  melakukan inovasi dengan mengubah sepeda motor menjadi  moda angkutan hasil pertanian yang disebut motor tassi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui variabel biaya operasional  kendaraan, harga motor dan biaya modifikasi sepeda motor tassi.  Menggunakan  metode kuantitatif deskriftif berdasarkan analisis biaya operasional kendaraan yang ditetapkan oleh Keputusan Direktur Jenderal Perhubungan Darat Nomor SK. 687/AJ206/DRJD/2002. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa biaya operasional kendaraan sepeda motor Tassi per kilometer berdasarkan merek kendaraan yang digunakan yaitu merek Honda dengan Biaya operasional kendaraan sebesar  Rp. 2.111,95/km, Yamaha Rp. 2.558,96/km, dan Suzuki  Rp. 2.458,88/km. Komponen sepeda motor yang dimodifikasi adalah suspensi depan dan belakang, rangka bodi, tangki bahan bakar, ban  dan velg serta komponen lainnya.

Abstract

The challenges faced by the city of Parepare, South Sulawesi, in providing adequate public transportation have led many residents to rely on online transportation services such as Grab. The purpose of this study was to analyze user satisfaction with Grab using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) version 23. This quantitative research involved a sample of 247 Grab Bike users in Soreang District, with data collected through questionnaires. The analysis included validity and reliability tests as well as model fit assessment. The results indicated that the variables tangible, empathy, reliability, responsiveness, and price had a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction, while assurance did not. The model fit test revealed that some indices met the criteria, but others did not, such as TLI, NFI, CFI, and RMSEA, which showed a poor fit.

Abstract

Sidenreng Rappang Regency, South Sulawesi Province, Indonesia, is one of the regions with significant potential in the agricultural sector. Improving the economy through the agricultural sector needs to be balanced with the role of infrastructure, especially road networks. The purpose of this research is to determine the potential of the area based on the accessibility, connectivity and mobility of the road network with a focus on the distribution of agricultural products. The descriptive quantitative research method uses SWOT analysis with data collection from 30 respondents from the stakeholder side using a questionnaire survey. The research results based on the regional potential analysis show that rice, coconut and laying hens are the leading commodities. The analysis of the road network for the accessibility aspect shows that five out of eleven sub-districts still have poor accessibility, the connectivity aspect shows that each area is already connected, and the mobility aspect shows that the mobility index has not yet been achieved in three out of eleven sub-districts. The results of the SWOT analysis of the strategy for improving the road network based on the strengths and opportunities (SO) are as follows: improving the road network according to its roles and functions, maximising technical programmes according to the role of the regional budget (APBD), and making investments in infrastructure strengthening adapted to the region's potential.

Abstract

Enrekang is a producer and contributor of diverse and abundant agricultural commodities, distributed both within and outside the region using various types of goods transportation modes. This research aims to determine the characteristics of commodities and the choice of goods transportation modes. The research method is descriptive quantitative and data is obtained from surveys and interviews with 150 respondents of freight transport drivers, data analysis uses the Analytical Hierarchy process (AHP). The results show that the characteristics of departure time are dominant during the day at 14.00 - 16.00 WITA, at night 20.00 - 22.00 WITA, while the arrival time at the distribution location during the day is dominant at 06.00 - 08.00 WITA, and at night 02.00 - 04.00 WITA. The distribution of commodities within South Sulawesi Province is dominant to Parepare City and outside the region to West Sulawesi. The choice of efficient goods transportation mode used in the process of distributing agricultural commodity results shows that the 3 axle truck mode has a priority weight of 0.43%.

Abstract

Transportasi pedesaan yang ada di Kecamatan Ennrekang belum berjalan sebagaimana mestinya, termasuk dalam mengangkut hasil-hasil pertanian ke tempat pemasaran, lebih banyak dipengaruhi oleh kondisi jalan, jarak angkut, dan sarana pengangkutan sehingga dapat menurunkan pendapatan dan ekonomi masyarakat perdesaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui karakteristik jenis hasil komoditi, moda dan jaringan jalan angkutan hasil komoditi. Menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan analisis data menggunakan statistik regresi linear berganda dengan bantuan aplikasi program SPSS V24. Hasil karakteristik komoditi yang paling luas area tanamnya adalah jenis tanam jagung yaitu 4.720 Ha denga produksi 23.926 Ton, dan jenis tanam perkebunan yang memiliki area paling luas adalah jenis tanaman kelapa dengan luas 82,0 Ha yang memiliki produksi 51Ton. Sedangkan moda angkut barang antara lain motor modifikasi, motor pribadi, mobil pick up, mobil 2As dan mobil 3As. 73,0 % jaringan jalan angkutan hasil komoditi sangat berpengaruh terhadap pembangunan pertanian, 20,0 % berpengaruh dan yang tidak berpengaruh 1,0 %. Hasil analisis menggunakan uji regresi linear berganda diperoleh hubungan yang kuat antara kinerja (X1) sebesar 0,323 dan tarif (X2) terhadap kepuasan petani sebesar 0,708.
