Abstract

PT. Eastern Pearl Flour Mills – City Side Makassar affects land use changes that have an impact on changes in traffic movement, so traffic impacts analysis is needed. The purpose of this study is to identify the performance of affected roads and intersections in the present and in the next 5 years, to handle traffic problems and conflicts by simulating models without handling (Do Nothing) and with handling (Do Something), analyzing time delays on the U-turns and modeling the origin-destination matrix using the Furness Method. This study uses qualitative and quantitative analysis methods that refer to the Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (MKJI, 1997) and The Furness method. The results of the analysis of the level of service on the Jl. The archipelago is in fairly good condition with LoS values A to B and DS 0.11 – 0.40 with a speed of 26.60 – 50.00 km/hour, the road performance that has the worst impact occurs at the Tol Reformasi – Jl. Nusantara with a projection for the next 5 years in 2027, where road performance has a LoS E and DS value of 0.88 with a delay time of 19 seconds/pcu. U-turn facility on Jl. Nusantara has an average delay time of 6.16 – 7.82 seconds for one rotating vehicle with a value of < 1 so that there is no queue. The results of the trip distribution analysis using The Furness model obtained the same value of generation and attraction in the second iteration, which means that it is still close to ideal conditions.

Abstract

Abstrak   Jalan Jenderal Sudirman Kota Parepare Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan – Indonesia merupakan jalan nasional yang memiliki jenis jalan 4 lajur 2 arah terbagi (4/2-T) dengan arus volume lalu lintas yang tinggi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui karakteristik geometrik jalan. Metode penelitian menggunakan kuantitatif deskriftif dan dianalisis menggunakan pedoman desain geometrik jalan (PDGJ) 2021. Hasil geometrik jalan sepanjang 3 km dengan 12 tikungan diperoleh Jarak Pandang Henti (JPH) 418,08 m, Jarak Pandang Mendahului (JPM) 218,536 m, Alinyemen Horizontal dan Alinyemen Vertikal tidak memenuhi standar Pedoman Desain Geometrik Jalan 2021. Mengindikasikan bahwa sebagaian ruas jalan dapat meningkatkan resiko kecelakaan serta keselamatan pengguna jalan. diperlukan evaluasi lebih lanjut serta perbaikan pada ruas jalan yang tidak sesuai standar guna meningkatkan keselamatan dan kenyamanan berkendara. Seperti penyesuaian desain geometrik, pemasangan rambu peringatan, serta penerapan rekayasa lalu lintas direkomendasikan untuk mengurangi potensi kecelakaan di lokasi tersebut.   Kata kunci: Jalan, geometrik, PDGJ 2021       Abstract   Jenderal Sudirman Road, Parepare City, South Sulawesi Province—Indonesia is a national road that has a type of 4-lane, 2-way divided road (4/2-T) with high traffic volume. The purpose of this study was to determine the geometric characteristics of the road. The 2021 road geometric design guidelines (PDGJ) served as the analytical framework for the quantitative descriptive research method. The geometric results of the 3 km long road with 12 bends obtained a Stopping Sight Distance (JPH) of 418.08 m, an Overtaking Sight Distance (JPM) of 218.536 m, the Horizontal Alignment and Vertical Alignment do not meet the standards of the 2021 Road Geometric Design Guidelines. Indicates that some road sections can increase the risk of accidents and the safety of road users. Further evaluation and improvements are needed on road sections that do not meet standards in order to improve driving safety and comfort. Such as adjusting the geometric design, installing warning signs, and implementing traffic engineering are recommended to reduce the potential for accidents at these locations.   Keywords: road, geometric, PDGJ 2021,

Abstract

Keterbatasan akses transportasi hasil pertanian merupakan salah satu kendala utama yang dihadapi kelompok tani di daerah perdesaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan penggunaan sepeda motor modifikasi sebagai moda transportasi hasil pertanian serta penerapan teknologi digital marketing untuk meningkatkan daya saing produk. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi observasi lapangan, sosialisasi, pelatihan, dan penerapan langsung bersama mitra Kelompok Tani Pallejja di Desa Cendana, Kabupaten Enrekang. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan sepeda motor modifikasi mampu mempercepat distribusi hasil pertanian dari lokasi produksi ke pasar. Selain itu, penerapan teknologi digital marketing memberikan peluang pemasaran yang lebih luas dan meningkatkan nilai tambah komoditas. Dengan demikian, kegiatan pengabdian ini berkontribusi pada peningkatan pendapatan serta keberlanjutan usaha tani masyarakat

Abstract

Beras merupakan komoditas strategis yang memainkan peran penting dalam ketahanan pangan dan stabilitas ekonomi, sehingga pengelolaannya membutuhkan transparansi untuk mewujudkan tata kelola pemerintahan yang baik (good governance). Masalah distribusi beras yang tidak merata dan biaya distribusi tinggi masih menjadi tantangan signifikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis model kemitraan yang melibatkan Majelis Ekonomi Perserikatan Muhammadiyah dalam meningkatkan kinerja distribusi beras. Metode yang digunakan adalah Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) untuk memodelkan hubungan antara koordinasi kemitraan, komitmen kemitraan, pembagian risiko, akses pasar, dan dukungan organisasi terhadap kinerja distribusi beras. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner dan wawancara mendalam dengan 75 petani yang bermitra dengan Majelis Ekonomi Perserikatan Muhammadiyah di Kabupaten Sidenreng Rappang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setiap variabel yang dianalisis, seperti koordinasi kemitraan, komitmen kemitraan, pembagian risiko, dan akses pasar, memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja distribusi beras. Koordinasi yang baik antar pemangku kepentingan meningkatkan efisiensi distribusi, sementara komitmen kemitraan memperkuat dukungan organisasi dan mengurangi biaya operasional. Pembagian risiko yang transparan mempercepat distribusi dan mengurangi ketidakpastian dalam rantai pasokan. Akses pasar yang lebih luas memperkuat posisi petani dalam rantai distribusi dan memungkinkan distribusi beras lebih cepat dan stabil. Penting untuk memperkuat kemitraan antara pemangku kepentingan dan meningkatkan infrastruktur serta akses pasar untuk efisiensi distribusi beras.

Abstract

Rice is the main staple food in Indonesia, and Sidenreng Rappang District contributes significantly to rice production in South Sulawesi Province. However, rice distribution in this area faces significant challenges, including long marketing channels and high marketing margins, which disadvantage farmers. The Muhammadiyah United Economic Assembly plays an important role in optimizing distribution channels, providing access to financing to farmers, and facilitating cooperation between farmers and marketing institutions. This research used observation, interview, and documentation methods, with primary and secondary data. The results showed that the marketing margin of rice in Sidenreng Rappang District reached IDR 23,650/kg, with the largest profits enjoyed by wholesalers and retailers. Improving more efficient distribution channels can reduce marketing margins and improve farmers' welfare. Therefore, the role of the Economic Assembly of Muhammadiyah Association is crucial in creating a more efficient trade system and improving the economic welfare of the people in Sidenreng Rappang District.

Abstract

Tingginya minat remaja generasi Z dalam menggunakan transportasi roda dua tidak berimbang kesadaran akan keselamatan berlalu lintas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik remaja pengendara roda dua, tingkat pemahaman, pengaruh pelanggaran, kesalahan, dan penyimpangan terhadap keselamatan berlalu lintas. Survei dilakukan dengan membagikan kusioner kepada 200 orang responden, data yang diperoleh di analisis menggunakan program SPSS dengan model regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian responden sebanyak 200 remaja, karakteristik usia 15-20 tahun 56%, jenis kelamin laki-laki 59%, memiliki SIM C 69%, pegalaman berkendara 2-5 tahun 53%, durasi berkendara 1 jam 57%, riwayat kecelakaan 53%, jenis kecelakaan sedang persentase 37%, tidak pernah terkena tilang 54%. Pengetahuan kategori baik 61%. Hasil uji t secara parsial bahwa variabel independen berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel dependen dengan signifikan masing-masing variabel independen (0.000 < 0.05). Hasil uji f secara simultan variabel independen berpengaruh signifikan tehadap variabel dependen nilai Fhitung 18,296 > Ftabel 2,651, nilai signifikan (0.000 < 0.05).

Abstract

Asbuton is a promising local material that can partially replace petroleum asphalt in AC-WC hot mix asphalt. This study aims to investigate the influence of varying Asbuton B50/30 content on the performance of asphalt mixtures using the Marshall method. The optimum asphalt content (OAC) was determined to be 6.29%, followed by testing with Asbuton contents of 7%, 9%, and 11% of the total asphalt weight. The evaluated parameters included stability, flow, Marshall Quotient (MQ), and volumetric properties (VIM, VMA, and VFB), all assessed against Bina Marga technical specifications. The results indicate that 7% Asbuton content provides the best performance, yielding the highest stability (1977.70 kg) and MQ (632.35 kg/mm), while maintaining volumetric parameters within specification limits. At higher Asbuton contents (9% and 11%), stability and MQ declined, whereas flow and VFB increased, suggesting an over-binder effect that reduces structural integrity. These findings highlight the importance of proper Asbuton dosage control to balance mechanical and volumetric properties. This study contributes to the advancement of knowledge in asphalt pavement engineering by emphasizing the dual role of Asbuton as both a filler and a binder modifier, while also providing a scientific basis for utilizing local materials to support more sustainable pavement development.

Abstract

Extreme weather is one of the main challenges in logistics distribution systems, especially on non-urban freight transport routes in eastern Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the effect of speed, travel time, safety, and transportation costs on freight distribution behavior, taking into account the role of extreme weather. The research method used a quantitative approach with Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS), based on questionnaire data from 300 truck drivers in UPPKB Datae and Maccopa, South Sulawesi. The analysis results show that safety (p = 0.021) and transportation costs (p = 0.001) have a significant effect on distribution behavior. Conversely, speed, travel time, and extreme weather do not have a significant effect. The coefficient of determination (R² = 0.01) indicates that the model can only explain 1% of the variation in distribution behavior, suggesting that other external factors outside the model have a more dominant influence on logistics distribution. These findings emphasize the importance of safety improvement and cost efficiency strategies as top priorities in dealing with extreme weather uncertainty, while also encouraging the development of additional variables to strengthen distribution behavior modeling.

Abstract

Pertumbuhan ekonomi di Kabupaten Sidenreng Rappang mendorong peningkatan volume angkutan barang yang secara simultan memicu praktik Overdimension dan Overloading (ODOL). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keterkaitan antara karakteristik teknis kendaraan dan perilaku operator dengan tingkat kepatuhan terhadap kebijakan transportasi. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif melalui survei terhadap 405 operator truk di Jembatan Timbang Data’e. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner, kemudian dianalisis dengan uji validitas, reliabilitas, regresi linier berganda, serta uji asumsi klasik melalui perangkat lunak SPSS versi 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan mayoritas operator adalah laki-laki berusia 25–30 tahun dengan tingkat pendidikan sekolah menengah pertama. Kendaraan yang dominan berupa truk dua as berkapasitas 10–15 ton, sebagian besar telah mengalami modifikasi di luar ketentuan standar teknis. Sebanyak 52,49% operator tercatat tidak melakukan penimbangan, 70,12% kendaraan tidak memiliki sertifikat uji laik jalan(KIR), serta 45,43% berada dalam kondisi ODOL. Analisis regresi menunjukkan perilaku negatif operator berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pemahaman kebijakan transportasi dengan koefisien determinasi R² = 0,491. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa faktor teknis kendaraan dan perilaku operator merupakan determinan utama praktik ODOL. Kontribusi penelitian ini terletak pada penyediaan bukti empiris berbasis data lapangan mengenai determinan kepatuhan operator angkutan barang, serta menawarkan rekomendasi berupa penguatan penegakan hukum dan edukasi teknis guna mendukung keselamatan lalu lintas dan keberlanjutan infrastruktur jalan.

Abstract

Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Parepare City, South Sulawesi Province - Indonesia is a National road with a road type (4/2-T) with a length of about 3 km and an average width of 3.5 m. Along the road there are government offices, companies and housing that have limited parking space so that the road section is used as an illegal parking area. The purpose of this study focuses on the analysis of illegal parking behavior. The type of descriptive quantitative research uses SEM analysis. A total of 200 respondents based on the distribution of questionnaire data were selected randomly. The analysis used variables of attitude, subjective norms, behavioral control, economic factors and social factors. The results of the analysis of the attitude variable, the critical ratio (CR) value towards illegal parking was 2.460 1.97, p - value 0.014 0.05. Subjective norm variable, critical ratio 2.157 1.97 with a p - value of 0.031 0.05. Behavioral control variable n critical ratio value 2.648 1.97 with p - value 0.008 0.05. Economic factor variable n critical ratio value 4.056 1.97 with a p - value of 0.000 0.05. Social factor variable n critical ratio value 2.537 1.97 with p - value 0.011 0.05 . Indicates that all variables used in respondents have an effect on illegal parking along the road.
