Abstract

The study purpose describes management of the Institute Training Course (ITC) Muslimah Group in terms of: planning and execution of training, training evaluation. The study used qualitative research with case study appoach. Research location took inITC Muslimah Group Solok City. Data type used primary and secondary data. Data collection used the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. Reseach Data were analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Test validation performed by the observation data by extension, increase persistence, triangulation and auditing. The results of the study consisted of management education, students, personnel, finance, marketing, management of distribution / service alumni, and infrastructure include: (1) Training plan determine by setting training objectives, the organizational structure of managers, instructors and participants, teaching materials, training methods, cost / funding sources, the implementation of training, facilities and infrastructure space, tools and materials are provided, (2) Training implementation apllied in: The beginning stage, filling the participants biodata, the implementation stage include: theory and practice learning, the implementation of the embroidery, learning to embroider, and the evaluation stage (monitoring) with a competency test and follow-up plan (RTL), (3) Evaluation includes evaluation training: instructors, and reception of participants, the training process.   Kata Kunci: Pengelolaan Lembaga Kursus Pelatihan (LKP)

Abstract

Many factors that affect production batik basurek of batik industry in thecity of Bengkulu. Among them was caused by the supply of raw materials has notbeen efficient, the lack of a competent workforce, and the high cost ofproduction/capital in batik. The aimed of this research was to describe whetherthere is influence of the raw materials, labor, and cost of production of batikbasurek against capital in the city of Bengkulu province of Bengkulu. The type ofresearch that is quantitative descriptive, with the entire population of industryleader batik basurek, as many as six people. The number of samples is equal tothe number of population. The technique of sampling using the technique saturated of sampling. Engineering data collection using the likert scale withquestion form distributed to respondents and have tested the validity andreliability. The results showed: 1) inventories raw materials are located on bothcategories of 50.00%. 2) amount and quality of labor with very high requirement,low and very low each of 33,33%. 3) availability of production cost/very highcapital of 66,66%. 4) the quality and number of batik production with a very highrequirement, low and very low each of 33,33%). Based on multiple regressionanalysis, hypothesis testing and the results of the determination of the coefficientindicates that the raw material (X1), labor (X2), and cost of production/capital(X3), has a positive influence and significantly to the production of batik basurekamounted to 99.8%.Keywords: Batik basurek production, the city of Bengkulu.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the improving studentsactivity and their result at Budaya Alam Minangkabau subject by usingcooperative Jigsaw at SMP Negeri 2 Pulau Punjung KabupatenDharmasraya.There are two cycles in this classroom action research.Each cycles needs three meeting and four steps. They are planing, acting,observing and reflecting. It is use to get improvement to next cycles. Theinstrument used to collect data is observation sheets, test, and field notes.The collection of data is helped by an observer. The data is analyzedthrough two ways. Qualitative data is analyzed with narration andargumentation and quantitative data. It must reach 85 % for students’activity. The result of research reaches 87%. The student achievement is85%. The students get score 76. The result of this research is 88%. So, itcan be concluded that using jigsaw cooperative learning model toincrease students’ activity and their result of Budaya Alam Minangkabausubject at students of SMP Negeri 2 Pulau Punjung KabupatenDharmasraya.Keyword: students’ activity, the result, jigsaw coopertive learning model

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the interest of students, the intrinsic factor(aptitude and motivation), extrinsic factors (the role of parents and peers),determine the influence of factors of intrinsic and extrinsic factors in choosing theStudy Program of Family Welfare (Prodi PKK) Department of IKK FPP UNP.The research type is quantitative descriptive research. The population of thisresearch is students of PKK Study Program of FPP UNP Class of 2012-2016registered in semester of January-June 2017 as many as 211 people. Samplingtechnique using Stratified Random Sampling technique with a sample of 68people. Data collection with questionnaires using Likert scale and analyzed byregression. The results showed the interest of students in the high category(79.65%), the intrinsic factor (aptitude and motivation) high category (80.56%)where talent is very high category (85.18%) and motivation high category(74.22%). Extrinsic factors (the role of parents and peers) very high category(81.32%), where the indicator role of parents is very high category (88.26%) andpeer high category (74.38). Based on the F test the intrinsic factors (talent andmotivation) and extrinsic factors (the role of parents and peers) give effect of33.1%. Persisally (t test) intrinsic factor (talent and motivation) influenced studentinterest 27,7% with 25% talent and motivation 9.4%. Extrinsic factors (the role ofparents and peers) affect student interest 19.5% with details of the role of parents13.9% and peers 11.8%. So the biggest factor influencing the student's interest inchoosing the PKK Study Program of IKK FPP UNP is the intrinsic factor of talentand motivation.Keywords: Talent, motivation, parent's role, peers, Interests

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the name of a color (hue), dark-light color (value), the flatness of color, and differences in light and dark and the flatness of the color of the effect of the mordant tamarind and sour kandis the results of dyeing silk using leaf extract Andong (Cordyline fruticosa LA Cheval). This research is an experimental research. This type of data is a primary data sourced from the 13 panelists. The object is dipped silk fabric with leaf extract carriage with tamarind and sour kandis. Where the data analysis was performed using ANOVA and percentage. From the results of dyeing without mordant produce color Gray (64% white) with a value of less light and color average flat. While the dyeing with mordant tamarind produce color Warm Brown with a value reasonably bright and color average flat and dyeing with mordant sour kandis produce color Off-White Snow with the value of light and color average flat. The results of hypothesis testing data obtained for light and dark colors (value) is Fcount> Ftable = 4.212> 3.26 means that there are significant differences. As for the flatness of color data obtained is Fcount> Ftable = 1.874 ≤ 3.26 means that there are no significant differences. Keywords: Effect Mordant, Leaf Extract Andong

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the tools and materials, the making techniques and the types of products which is produced by the crochet industry in the Pariaman city. The method used is a qualitative method. The type of data in the form of primary data and secondary data. Informants are the leaders and craftsmen each industry. The technique of collecting data through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. Extension of the validity of the data with observations, increased observation and triangulation. Result: Equipment and Materials used consist of a crochet hook with numbers 8, 9, 1/0 and 2/0, sewing machines, stitch machine and cotton yarn, white and cream, with a yarn numbering numbers 6 and 9. Process roll thread there are two ways, namely utilizing limbs and used yarn mill player. The usage of crochet hook number 1/0 and 2/0 is for the yarn number 9. Crochet hook number 8 and number 9 for number 6. Yarn making technique used the initial stitch, chain stitch, tightly stitch,  closely half stitch, single crochet, double crochet, and picot stitch. Type of connection used a regular crochet, irish crochet, american crochet, the crochet stitch. It produced tablecloths, cover gallon, souvenirs and products related to fashion. Abstract

The aim this study is to describe of students’ perceptions about the quality of the sewing machines in terms of their damage and maintenance for worskshop in fashion boutiques laboratorium of SMKN 8 Padang. The typr of this research is quantitative descriptive, with 25% population from each local of dressmaking class at SMKN 8 Padang. Amount of sample total are 30 students. Taking sample used random sampling technique, mixed sample. The data processing was done by specifying and categorizing the percentage of observed items. The results of this study indicated that students’ prceptions about the quality of sewing machines reviewed from their damage is in the low category (59%) and the maintenance is in th good enough category (77,16%). For that reason, need to inprove the quality of sewing machines and their maintenance in order quality of them can support pactice learning at the clothing boutique of dressmaking programs at SMKN 8 Padang.

Abstract

The basic pattern Lucia Mors De Castro came from Germany, which iscontained in Basic Pattern Making book. The basic pattern Lucia Mors De Castrohas never been used or investigated by the lacturer and students of KesejahteraanKeluarga FT UNP on the pattern of Indonesian women's clothing, especially for theideal female body shape. The purpose of this study is to describe a weakness, howto repair a weakness, and the suitability of basic pattern, sleves, and skirts of LuciaMors De Castro on the Indonesian ideal female body shape. The method of researchis applied research. The object of research is the basic pattern Lucia Mors De Castrowere tested on students Kesejateraan Keluarga ideal stature height of 165 cm,weight 55.25 cm, at the age of 22 years. Instrument of the research is the assessmentformat. Assessment carried out by 5 panelists are lecturers dressmaking fittingmanner. The analysis data technique used is descriptive statistics. The resultsshowed that the basic pattern Lucia Mors De Castro for the ideal body shape, hasseveral disadvantages including: 1) bust circumference looks loose, 2) waistcircumference looks loose, 3) bust depth appears to rise, 4) back height appears torise, 5) back width seems less appropriate, 6) armhole diameter look lessappropriate, 7) concave arm circumference seem cramped, 8) darts at the front ofthe skirt does not appropriate location, 9) darts rear skirt looks not appropriatelocation. Of research Lucia Mors De Castro can be adjusted to the ideal femalebody shape Indonesia, namely by doing some repairs on how to make a pattern.This can be seen from the results of the analysis of data on fitting to II, mode was 4,median was 4, and the percentage was 99,7.Kata kunci: Kesesuain pola dasar Lucia Mors De Castro, Wanita Indonesiabertubuh ideal.

Abstract

The problems in this research is the students seem less able to analyze fashion design, pattern making, students are less precise in cutting, and not good enough in sewing, disadvantaged students in completing the outfit with hand sewing. It is necessary for research on student learning difficulties in making women's fashion competence Making of Modern Kebaya and Kemben. The purpose of this study was to describe the learning difficulties by students in the making of modern kebaya and kemben that includes design analysis, making patterns, cutting material, sewing techniques, and completed the outfit with hand sewing. The type of this research is quantitative descriptive. The population is all students of class XII Department of Fashion Design at SMK N 8 Padang which are 24 persons. Instrument used in this study is questionnaire in the form of Likert scale. Result showed that students learning difficulties there are 33% students have the middle category difficulties in analyzing the design, 46% students have the middle category difficulties in making pattern, 33% students have the middle in sewing, 33% students have the the middle difficulties in complete the outfit with hand sewing. Overall, students' learning difficulties in the competence Making of Modern Kebaya and Kemben as much as 42% with the middle category. Hoped the student can increase their learning system in making kebaya modern dan kemben so they can the get the good achiement.   Kata Kunci: kesulitan belajar siswa, kebaya modern dan kemben

Abstract

Life skills is a skill that is needed to work in addition to academic skills. oriented life skills to equip students in improving their standard of living as well looking at their capabilities so as to overcome the problems faced and take advantage of opportunities and clever mingle in society. But still many students who do not have skills entrepreneurship. The synergy of life skills in entrepreneurship is needed in term of personal skills, social skills, academic skills, and vocational skills.
