Abstract

Abstract

PT.

Abstract

Established since the 80s, PT. XYZ is an air compressor manufacturing industry located in Tangerang, Indonesia. In the production process, the Air compressor type L Unloading 1/4 HP has a very complex supply chain network which makes the supply chain network activities experience obstacles in the form of risks or potential risks that can occur so that it can disrupt the smooth running of the supply chain activities of the air compressor type L. Unloading 1/4 HP. However, PT. XYZ has not maximally implemented risk mitigation actions in its supply chain. The purpose of this study is to propose a mitigation action against risk events that occur along the supply chain of water compressor type L Unloading 1/4 HP using the FFMEA (Fuzzy Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) and FAHP (Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process) methods. Based on the research, there were 29 identified risk events with 5 priority risk events. And of the 5 priority risk events, each has 2 proposed mitigation actions per priority risk event

Abstract

Abstract

Most optimization problems in engineering are nonlinear, with many constraints. Consequently, finding optimal solutions to such nonlinear problems requires efficient optimization methods. Most of the methods used so far are gradient-based methods. In gradient-based methods, the objective function must be differentiable, and the search for the optimum solution usually starts with a guess-point. For multimodal objectives, the search will likely get stuck at a local optimum. Nowadays, new metaheuristic methods are being developed for solving nonlinear optimization problems. Metaheuristic methods neither require a guess-point nor a derivative of the objective function. Metaheuristic methods, called Bat Algorithm and Spiral Dynamic Method, have been developed for solving optimization problems. Each of the methods has the strength to solve the problem. We propose combining Bat Algorithm (BA) and Dynamic Spiral Method (DSM) for solving mixed integer optimization. The bat Algorithm is used for the exploration stage to find some candidate solutions. Meanwhile, the dynamic spiral method is used in local search to find the best optimum solution. The result obtained by Bat Algorithm-Dynamic Spiral Method (BA-DSM) were more effective than the standard Bat Algorithm in solving the problem.

Abstract

Plastic has played a dominant role in human life as its usage is increasing over time. Plastic waste can harm the environment because plastic is not biodegradable. A collaboration adopted from the quintuple helix model was initiated by the local government of Cilegon, Indonesia, industry, and community to tackle the plastic waste problem. Plastic waste from households and industry is collected and processed in the plastic waste processing industry using the pyrolysis method producing gasoline, diesel, and kerosene. Kerosene is used by the community as fuel for cooking, whereas diesel and gasoline are used as boat fuels by fishermen. The collaboration is expected to provide economic and environmental benefits for the people in the Cilegon area. We conducted a cost and benefit analysis to evaluate the feasibility of this project from an economic and ecological point of view. The results will be used as input for conducting similar projects in other cities.

Abstract

Indonesia is the number two producer of plastic waste. According to Cilegon Mayor Regulation Number 30 of 2019, Article 5 of the Regional Regulation, Cilegon City has a target of reducing waste by 30% and handling waste by 70% of the generation of household waste and waste similar to household waste. One solution is to implement the concept of a circular economy, which is consistent with the five-year master plan data from 2020 to 2024. This research aims to find solutions to problems associated with plastic waste, which is difficult to decompose. An expert opinion, a financial feasibility test using the benefit-cost ratio(BCR) to new revenue streams, and determining the relationship between the circular economy and sustainable development goals were all part of the circular business model canvas (CBMC) used Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This research is based on qualitative methods, and quantitative methods are used to test the financial viability of the new revenue stream.Based on the data processing results, it is necessary to redesign using a circular business model canvas, seek product diversification from processing plastic waste, and calculate the feasibility test of the paving block business as a new revenue stream.   The current business model canvas was designed as a result of this research. This research is expected to assist IPST Asari and the Bank Sandi Team in maximizing the potential for processing plastic waste in Cilegon City.

Abstract

Customer service quality is a key performance indicator that directly impacts a company's image. This study identified potential issues with a mobile banking app (m-banking) based on its low rating on the Google Play Store compared to similar apps. The app's rating likely reflects user satisfaction with the m-banking service. To address these concerns and improve service quality based on user feedback (voice of customer), a study was conducted using three methods: text mining, mobile banking service quality analysis, and Quality Function Deployment (QFD). The text mining method analyzed sentiment from comments on the Google Play Store. It employed a Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm, achieving high accuracy (0.86), precision (0.86), recall (0.84), F1-score (0.85), and AUC (0.84). Negative sentiment analysis identified five dimensions encompassing 15 attributes of m-banking service quality. These attributes were then incorporated into a questionnaire distributed to 100 respondents. Six attributes with the lowest gap values were identified as priority attributes, representing the most critical customer concerns. These attributes were used as the "voice of the customer" in the QFD method. By constructing a House of Quality (HoQ) matrix, the study established a priority ranking of technical responses. These responses include strategies to optimize tools, application features, and memory usage, reduce excessive animation and the use of live wallpapers, create an update mechanism, provide content localization features, continuously incorporate customer feedback into application improvements.

Abstract

This study investigates risk mitigation strategies within the label holder supply chain at a company specializing in convection-produced label holders. The House of Risk approach will be used to identify and prioritize potential risks and their sources throughout the supply chain activities, as defined by the Supply Chain Operation Reference (SCOR) method. Common supply chain risks include torn mica, detached stitches, and improper strap lengths. The risk identification process within the label holder supply chain activities resulted in 30 risk events, 27 risk agents, and 13 prioritized risk mitigation actions. These actions include regular routine machine maintenance, employee briefings, identifying backup suppliers, consistent performance monitoring, station coordination before production, machinery and tool upgrades for quality assurance, yearly shutdowns/maintenance, establishing customer contracts, user feedback coordination, training for raw material receiving personnel, implementing periodic product testing, enacting efficient inventory management practices, and improving finished goods quality management.
