Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi lingkungan gedung bulutangkis se Kabupaten Banyuwangi. Penelitian dilakukan dengan survei pada lima gedung bulutangkis, Gedung GNI, Gedung Uniba, Gedung ABC 1 (RRHS), Gedung ABC 2, dan Gedung Rimba Raya. Pengukuran meliputi tinggi tata letak lampu, daya atau kapasitas lampu, luas bangunan, temperatur, intensitas cahaya, kelembapan udara. Alat yang digunakan ialah Thermometer untuk pengukuran temperature, Hygrometer untuk pengukuran kelembaban udara, Lux meter untuk pengukuran intensitas cahaya, Rollmeter untuk mengukur luas gedung dan tinggi tata letak lampu. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa secara keseluruhan kondisi lingkungan gedung bulutangkis belum memenuhi SNI, Akan tetapi layak digunakan dengan melihat parameter kondisi dan situasional. Kata kunci: Kondisi Lingkungan, Gedung Bulutangkis

Abstract

This PKM or Community Partnership Program is a community service activity aimed at the people of Umbulrejo RT 3 Rw 7 Bagorejo Village, Srono District, Banyuwangi Regency. Partners in this activity are PKK cadres in the area. The purpose of this activity is to help partners develop the TOGA village in the Umbulrejo area into an educational area about traditional medicinal plants and herbs through the digital world. So it is hoped that partners can introduce medicinal plants and herbs as part of Healthy Life Skills and Indonesian Herritage. This activity begins with coordination with partners to synchronize partner needs. Then made a website and android based application with the name Sijamu Digital. The application is intended to help partners learn and teach about TOGA and herbal medicine as well as a vehicle for product promotion. Herbal medicine processing tools are also made by the service team to partners to facilitate the manufacture of herbal medicine effectively and efficiently. Training and mentoring activities are also carried out to help partners make herbal products, namely in the form of gathering comedy, healthy fresh drinks. The evaluation results show that partners play an active role in these activities. The final result of the activity shows an increase in partners' knowledge about traditional medicinal plants, an increase in partners' skills in making products and an increase in product quality. In addition, the results of product sales also show an increase in partner income so that they can increase income during the Covid 19 pandemic.

Abstract

Waste oil has a high hydrogen content and can be used as renewable energy. The hydrocarbon chains in used oil can decompose and produce liquid fuel products through evaporation at a certain temperature. The purpose of this study was to obtain the characteristics of used oil waste liquid smoke using steam reforming with the addition of a KOH catalyst. The research was conducted by experiment, where the concentration of the solution used included 1.25; 1.66, and 2.5 Mol. The steam reforming process was carried out for 2 hours using a temperature variation of 250 and 300 oC. The steamer tube is connected to the condensing pipe in a separate unit to obtain liquid smoke products from a wide variety of applied solutions. Product analysis includes volume capacity and flame characteristics of each product variation obtained using the ImageJ application. The results showed that the role of KOH catalyst was able to increase the effectiveness of liquid smoke production from waste oil. The highest product volume was obtained at a concentration of 1.25 Mol of 115 ml. While the characteristics of the flame tend towards temperature and color dominance that is different for each product produced.

Abstract

Mixing process use to mix liquid, viscous and granular materials. One of the common mixing devices is a vertical stirred mixer which uses a tank and a vertical shaft that rotate mixing blades. This research is done to get the effect of the blade’s number and angle inclination due to mixing performance. Mixing performance is defined as stretching and folding. The research is done by experiment. The blade’s number varies as 2, 3 and 4 blades. Blade’s inclination is varied as 90o, 80o, 70o and 60o. The blades are rotated 10 rpm. A cylinder with 18 cm diameter and 12 cm height use as mixing tank. White wall paint is used as mixing material. Black wall paint uses a tracker. Mixing processes are observed by a camera on top of the mixer. The mixing processes are arranged for 2 mixer shaft rotations. Video data are captured frame by frame and analyzed using image software. The result shows that blade’s number and angle inclination have an effect due to mixing performance. Blade’s number tends to decrease stretching and folding. Abstract

The cooling tower is mechanical equipment which used to decrease hot waste water. One of the factors that influence the performance is the filling components. This research is aimed to get the effect of buffle’s shape and configuration due to cooling tower performance. The cooling tower performance is described with range, heat transfer rate, and efficiency. The research is done by an experiment using laboratory scale cooling tower. The shape is varied as circle and triangle with 2-3 and 3-2 in a row configuration. The water flow rate is adjusted with 3 valve opening. Water temperature inlet is varied as 50, 60 and 70oC. The measurements are taken for inlet and outlet water and air temperature for 3 times measurements using K-type thermocouples. The result shows that buffle’s shape and configuration have an effect due to cooling tower performance. Keywords: cooling tower, performance, buffle’s shape, configuration

Abstract

Pirolysis is thermochemical decomposition process of biomass into useful product. A method that can be used is a rotary kiln pirolyzer which consist a heating cylinder that rotate with a certain rotation speed. This research is aimed to get the effet of temperature due to char product quantity of switenia macrophylla rotary kiln pirolysis.The research is done by pirolysis experiment with 200 gram of switenia macrophylla in dust form. Temperature heating is varied 250 C, 350 C, 450 C, 500 C, dan 600 C. The heating temperature is provide by eletric heater with control system. Temperatur is measured with K type thermocouple. The heating process is taken for 180 minutes using stopwatch. The measurement is done for biomass and char volume using measuring cup. Mass is measured using scale. Low heating value is measured using bomb calorimeter.The result show that temperatur has effect due to char product of switenia macrophylla rotary kiln pirolysis. Char mass loss tend to increase due to temperature increasing. Low heating value and char porosity tend to increase due to mass loss percentage increasing. Shrinking factor and percentage of yield energy tend to decrease due to mass loss percentage increasing. Keywords: pirolysis, rotary kiln, char, temperature

Abstract

Paint is a liquid used to coat the surface of an object with the aim of decorative, reinforcing or protective of the material. Anti-scratch or varnish is a paint made from a hydrocarbon polymer without a color pigment. This study aims to determine the effect of the brand and the ratio of the anti-scratch mixture on the quality of the metal coating. The workpiece used is a 0.5 mm galvanized plate with a size of 10 cm x 10 cm. In this study, three variations of the ratio of anti-scratch and thinner mixtures will be carried out, namely 1: 1, 1: 1.25 and 1: 1.5 using the brands MTT, BLKT, WS. Spraying variations include spraying 1 sec (2x spraying), 2 secs (4x spraying), 3 sec (6x spraying). From the data collection process, two measurements will be taken, the first, the gloss test using a lux meter and a color density test. The gloss test was carried out by irradiating using three tilt angles, namely 50 °, 55 ° and 60 °. To test the color density using the Coolphptools Software. The highest gloss results occurred on the WS brand with a mixture ratio of 1: 1 resulting in a value of 9770 (lux) at an angle of 60 ° with a spray time of 2 seconds (4 times spray). The lowest yield occurred for the MTT brand producing a value of 4170 at an angle of 50 ° with a spray time of 3 seconds (6 times the spray). The results of this study generally show that the brand and the ratio of the anti-scratch mixture have an effect on the coating of metal materials

Abstract

Tujuan penulisan artikel ini untuk memberikan gambaran potensi pengembangan seaplane sebagai moda transportasi pendukung pada kawasan pesisir atau kepulauan di Indonesia. Metode yang dikembangkan melalui studi literatur terkait kebijakan pemerintah tentang seaplane, ketersedian fasilitas penunjang, tingkat kesiapan SDM dan perkembangan daerah yang telah memiliki fasilitas seaplane. Hasil kajian menunjukkan seaplane merupakan solusi untuk menghubungkan kawasan kepulauan secara efektif dan efisien. Keberadaan seaplane dapat memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi khususnya pada kawasan pesisir dan perairan Indonesia.

Abstract

Zinc and plastic roofs are used vary widely in poor society because of their low price and their installation easiness. A roof installation with an inclination angle is done in order to the rain water is easy to flow. Rainfall causes noise that has a bad impact to human. This research is aimed to obtaining the effect of inclination angle of zinc and plastic roofs on the noise intensity. The research was done experimentally. The roofs investigated consist of zinc and plastic roofs in waveforms. A room with an overall size of 80 cm x 80 cm x 150 cm was made of wood as the frame. The inclination angles were varied; 10o, 20o, 30o and 40o. The rainfall was modeled by a sprayer with three different water flow rates 0,8; 1,0 and 1,2 lt/s. These flow rates represented low, medium and heavy rains. The noise intensity was measured using a sound level meter, which was placed in the centre of the room. The result shows that increasing the roof inclination angle causes the noise intensity to decrease. The plastic roof has lower noise intensity than the zinc roof. Furthermore, the experimental noise intensity data are relatively safe according to the noise safety level.

Abstract

Faktor ekonomi seringkali mendorong banyak orang tua meninggalkan keluarga untuk berprofesi menjadi buruh migran di Luar Negeri. Kondisi ini berdampak terhadap pola asuh orang tua pada anak terkait perlindungan dan pemenuhan hak anak. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengidentifikasi pola perlindungan dan pemenuhan hak atas pendidikan anak buruh migran di Desa Kedungrejo, Muncar Kabupaten Banyuwangi. Metode penelitian menggunakan yuridis sosiologis, pengambilan data meliputi kajian pustaka dan wawancara pada pihak terkait. Analisis data menggunakan model analisis interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan upaya perlindungan dan pemenuhan hak anak di Desa Kedungrejo cukup baik. Pola pengasuhan anak buruh migran di Desa Kedungrejo Kecamatan muncar Banyuwangi dilakukan dalam bentuk kolaborasi melalui paman atau tante di keluarga muda, menengah, dan tua. Selain itu, juga dibutuhkan pola pengasuhan yang lebih menyeluruh yang melibatkan orang tua, agar hak dasar anak buruh migran tetap terpenuhi dengan baik
