Abstract

The purpose of this research was to test and to analyze the influence of job insecurity towards organizational commitment and the intention to leave especially for employees working in notary offices. This was caused by the very strategic position of such Notary employees especially in the process of deed writing, with what had been designed by the Notary, of course, would not be done along with the planning. The study was implemented in the province of DKI Jakarta, more precisely in Southern Jakarta. The number of samples was 191, taken using a multy-stage sampling technique. The result shows that job insecurity significantly influence the organizational commitment and the intention to leave, besides, the organizational commitment has become a partial mediation variable from the relationship channel between job insecurity and intention to leave. Such finding was along with the conservation of resources theory (COR theory), saying that employees try to collect and maintain many sources and if they lost their resources in one particular area, it would easily cause other loss of resources in other areas. When insecurity in working is sensed by employees, it would trigger the feeling of reluctant to work and intention to leave becomes higher. Therefore, the managerial implication is that the leader must focus on developing security towards employees within the notary office environment. When the employees are protected, the positive attitude would grow and they would gather and maintain such an attitude. Therefore, for future research, the commitment measurement using other source enables variable control related to the specific working context.

Abstract

Service quality is an important market differentiator and is an instrument that has strong competitiveness. The purpose of this research was to test and to analyze the influence of service quality towards customer trust and customer loyalty, especially in the retail industry. In such an industry, service quality is the key to improve competitiveness. The research was carried out in North Sulawesi with 135 supermarket customer as the sample. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. The research result showed that service quality had significantly positive influence either on the customer trust or customer loyalty. Besides, on the relationship between customer trust and customer loyalty, it also had significant positive finding. Such finding was in line with the concept of SERVQUAL and The Commitment-Trust Theory, stating that service quality interaction would minimize the gap between the expectation and the service received so that it would improve customer trust and eventually they would be back to shop more. The implication of such managerial research was that the supermarket leader in North Sulawesi must focus more and emphasize more on the dimension of service quality especially in terms of reliability, empathy, and warranty. The limitation of this research was the limited area of research, therefore, the area scope should be broader for the next research so that the conceptual model could be generalized.

Abstract

ABSTRAKS   Penelitian ini mengkaji kepemimpinan efektif yang ditinjau dari konsep gaya kepemimpinan yang berorientasi tugas dan karyawan terhadap kinerja dan kepuasan kerja karyawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : (1) Untuk mengetahui pengaruh yang signifikan antara gaya kepemimpinan yang berorientasi tugas dan karyawan terhadap kinerja karyawan, (2) Untuk mengetahui pengaruh yang signifikan antara gaya kepemimpinan yang berorientasi tugas dan karyawan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan, dan (3) Untuk mengetahui pengaruh secara signifikan antara gaya kepemimpinan yang berorientasi tugas terhadap kinerja dan kepuasan kerja karyawan baik secara maupun tidak langsung. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian survey. Individu sebagai unit analisis terdiri dari para karyawan PT. Semen Gresik (Persero) Tbk. dengan jumlah sampel 68 karyawan dari populasi 212  karyawan. Uji hipotesis dilakukan analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) gaya kepemimpinan yang berorientasi tugas dan karyawan mempunyai pengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja, (2) gaya kepemimpinan yang berorientasi tugas dan karyawan mempunyai pengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan, dan (3) gaya kepemimpinan yang berorientasi tugas dan karyawan terhadap kinerja dan kepuasan kerja karyawan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan yang berorientasi tugas secara dominan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja dan kepuasan kerja karyawan. Kami menyarankan pihak perusahaan lebih memperhatikan kepentingan karyawan juga untuk mencapai tujuan mereka.   Kata Kunci: Gaya kepemimpinan, kepuasan kerja     ABSTRACTS   The study perceives the effectiveness of leadership  from the effect of leader`s style that orientation task and employee on the employee`s job performance and employee`s job satisfaction. The study aims at : (1) finding out significantly effects of the leader`s style that orientation task and employee on employee`s job performance, (2) finding out significantly effects of the leader`s style that orientation task and employee on  employee`s job satisfaction, and (3) ) finding out significantly effects of the leader`s style that orientation task and employee on employee`s job performance and employee`s job satisfaction directly and indirectly. This is a survey research involving the employees of PT. Semen Gresik , at the analysis unit, with sample of 68 from 212 employees a quastionaire was used. Hipothesis testing was done by path analysis. The result of study showed that : (1) leader`s style that orientation task and employee are significantly affected the employee`s job performance, (2) leader`s style that orientation task and employee are significantly affected the employee`s job satisfaction, and (3) leader`s style that orientation task and employee are significantly effected the employee`s job performance and employee`s job satisfaction. Based on the finding, therefore, it is suggested that the leder`s style on orientation task  is basically dominant variable in influencing the employee`s job performance and employee`s job satisfaction. We also suggested that the organization pay more attention to their employee`s need to get their goals.   Keywords: Leadership, job satisfaction

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pengaruh family supportive supervisor behavior (FSSB) terhadap work life balance (WLB), employee engagement dan kepuasan kerja pada perawat yang berstatus telah berkeluarga dan menjalani pekerjaan dengan sistem shift. Penelitian ini melibatkan 101 perawat RSUD Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang yang berada pada instalasi rawat inap (IRNA 1 dan IRNA 2) untuk menanggapi kuesioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan teknik analisis jalur (path analysis) menggunakan SPSS 16.0. Temuan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa FSSB tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap WLB, namun FSSB berpengaruh signifikan terhadap employee engagement dan kepuasan kerja

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and explain the influence of spiritual leadership to ethical behavior, quality of work life, job satisfaction, organizational commitment and employee performance. The sample in this study was 160 employees working at the Bank of North Sillawesi. Structural Equation Modeling was used as a tool of analysis in this study. The results showed that spiritual leadership had significant influence directly to ethical behavior, but no significant effect on the quality of work life, job satisfaction, organizational commitment and employee performance. Ethical behavior has a direct significant effect on the quality of working life, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment, and indirectly significant effect on employee performance. Quality of work life has a significant direct effect on job satisfaction, organizational commitment and employee performance. Job satisfaction has a direct significant effect on organizational commitment and indirectly has a significant effect on the perforrnance of employees. Organizational commitment has a direct significant effect on the performance of the employee. The findings in this study are the spiritual leadership affects the quality of work life, job satisfaction and organizational commitment through ethical behavior. Spiritual leadership affects the performance of employees through ethical behavior and organizational commitment. Ethical behavior influences employee performance through organizational commitment, and job satisfaction influence on employee performance through organizational commitment.

Abstract

A start-up company is a phenomenon of business development, based on information technology through digital marketing by using Internet technology, in the form of an application that integrate the owners and users.  Human resources who are in charge in organization is not only employees, but also partners for business outside the company. Motivation that comes from partners of business is very important to be managed by company, therefore the goals could be carried out well. This study describes and analyzes the work motivation of drivers who are join in PT. Gojek Indonesia in Malang. This research uses a descriptive qualitative, by collecting several data through a triangulation method.  The collected data would be analyzed by using Miles, Huberman, and Saldana analysis method models.  The result presents that work motivation of the drivers influenced by individual character and work environment factor. Hence, an organization support that is provided for the drivers is also increase their work motivation, therefore the drivers would like to stay with PT. Gojek Indonesia Meanwhile, to increase work motivation an adjustment is still needed in rewards system that is provided to the drivers.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to examine the implementation of the quadruple helix business communication strategy for digitizing MSMEs in Jakarta. Specifically, the study aims to assess the effectiveness of the strategy in increasing awareness and understanding of digitalization among MSME players and to evaluate its impact on the development of digital skills and capabilities. This study adopts a qualitative research method. The qualitative component involves conducting interviews with key stakeholders, including government officials, academics, business representatives, and MSME players. These interviews aim to gather insights into their perceptions and experiences regarding the quadruple helix strategy and its implementation in MSME digitalization efforts. The quadruple helix business communication strategy is a collaborative approach involving government, academics, business people, and society to achieve common goals. This strategy is particularly relevant in the context of digitizing micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Jakarta, as it can enhance awareness and understanding among MSME players regarding the importance of digitalization. Additionally, this strategy can help MSME players develop their digital skills and capabilities. The implementation of the quadruple helix business communication strategy in Jakarta's MSME digitalization efforts is coordinated by HIPMIKINDO, which serves as a communication hub connecting the government, academics, and MSME players. Rather than acting as an initiator, HIPMIKINDO positions itself as a collaborator among the four main stakeholders, forming a quadruple helix framework for effective communication.

Abstract

This study aimed to see the influence of service quality on corporate image, satisfaction, commitment and loyalty of customers of Bank Rakyat Indonesia in Southeast Sulawesi. Originality of this study is the addition of variables related to commitment customers are then connected with customer loyalty analysis approach in this research is descriptive statistical analysis and analysis of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Research results indicate that there are ten hypotheses received or significantly related, whereas no significant variable is the relationship of the customer satisfaction variable does not significantly influence veriabel commitment to customer.

Abstract

All investments made by companies, to those who possess the qualified and competence would be in vain when the employee left the company, to reduce the risk of losing potential employee, an effort should be made to the company by building on existing documents within a company. This study is expected to know the influence of each variable in the Intention to leave in efforts to maintain employee not expensive, so do not be a burden to corporale overhead costs. The purpose of this study to assess the relationship between Job Placement (X) Workload (X), Burnout (X), Job Involvement (x,), Career Development (7), Organizational commitments (Y) Intention to leave (Y). Data analysis using Structural Equations Modeling (SEM). samples is 192 employees in medical representatives of the pharmaceutical industry in North Sulawesi. The results of this study found that career development and burnout can affect the intention to leave through career development and organizational commitment workload will affect the Intention to leave through career development. Employee involvement influence the Intention to leave through the organizational commitment.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menginvestigasi pengaruh dari kepemimpinan pada budaya organisasi, komitmen pekerjaan, perilaku bekerja, dan kinerja pegawai di Propinsi Sulawesi Tenggara. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuisioner dan melakukan wawancara mendalam. Sampel dari penelitian ini adalah 166 pegawai di 9 SKPN di Sulawesi Tenggara. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif untuk menentukan karakteristik dan deskriptif dr responden untuk masing2 indikator variabel. Sementara itu, untuk menguji hubungan antar variabel digunakan alat analisis inferensial dengan metode SEM dan pendekatan AMOS 7. Hasil dari penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa kepemimpinan yang baik dapat meningkatkan kinerja pegawai dengan mempertimbangkan factor-faktor seperti budaya organisasi, komitmen pekerjaan, dan perilaku bekerja di SKPD di Propinsi Sulawesi Tenggara. Selain itu, hasil menunjukkan bahwa dalam rangka meningkatkan perilaku bekerja pegawai yang lebih baik, pemimpin harus mempertimbangkan faktor budaya organisasi dan komitmen pekerjaan.
