Abstract

Economic growth in Indonesia in the micro, small and medium enterprise (MSMEs) sector often needs help in the short term. Regional government efforts to promote education and literacy have strengthened the importance of digitalization in increasing MSME's income, especially after the pandemic. This research analyses how financial literacy and financial technology (fintech) influence the sustainability of MSMEs in Malang. This type of research is quantitative, using primary data as a questionnaire. The research population consisted of 7920 MSMEs in the city of Malang. The sampling technique used purposive sampling so that 100 MSMEs were obtained as respondents. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS software. The research results show that fintech and financial literacy positively influence the sustainability of MSMEs. Fintech and financial literacy are enough to encourage the expansion and sustainability of MSMEs in Malang. This research can complement existing theories and be a reference for local governments to encourage and facilitate digitalization and financial literacy for MSME players. This research can also be a reference for fintech companies to reach out more to MSMEs and increase fintech socialization.

Abstract

SMEs are one of the important pillars of the Indonesian economy which also has an impact on current conditions. The main problem faced by SMEs is that they are very lacking in digging for information about the development of THEIR SMEs because the people in Kasri Village who are still thinking about their main livelihood, namely farming, there are actually business opportunities in this village. The purpose of this activity is so that people can improve the mindset of entrepreneurs, develop businesses for existing ones, and create product innovations so that they are not monotonous so that their lives are more advanced and developed. And the community can create superior products so that they can advance the local village economy. Therefore, this community service activity is to help the community to improve soy products such as processed soy milk, improve the quality and quantity of soy products by providing alternative product variations such as tempeh chips with flavor variants, expand marketing networks, and provide simple financial recording training

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the Exchange Rate, Book Value per Share, and Earnings per Share on Stock Returns in the transportation sector listed on the IDX for the period 2020 to 2023. The dependent variable in this research is stock returns, while the independent variables consist of exchange rate, Book Value per Share, and Earnings per Share. The sampling technique in this research was using a purposive sampling method. From 2020 to 2023 of the transportation and logistics companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the research period, only 16 companies were eligible to be used as samples for this research. The data was tested using Eviews version 12 by testing classical assumptions with the normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test and autocorrelation test. Data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis tests and hypothesis testing using the coefficient of determination analysis test (R²) and t test. The research results show that only the variables Exchange Rate, Book Value per Share, Earning Per Share have no effect on stock returns of transportation and logistics companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI). Abstract

Purpose: The community service aims to socialize the early process of organic waste into organic fertilizer for local plants in Karang Besuki residents, Malang city, Indonesia. This addresses the community's lack of knowledge about kitchen waste utilization, limited access to waste management technology, and the need to understand the environmental benefits of proper waste management. Method: The team conducted socialization and demonstration using a simple automatic counting tool, involving residents of Karang Besuki village, students, and the proposing team. Practical Applications: This initiative simplifies organic waste processing for residents, allowing the waste to be used as fertilizer, thus promoting a healthier community environment. Conclusion: The community service activities made it easier for residents to process organic waste into fertilizer, enhancing waste management practices and environmental awareness in Karang Besuki village, Malang city, Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of Artificial Intelligence, information technology capabilities, and employee training on the efficiency of accounting processes in Public Accounting Firms in Malang City. This research uses a quantitative method with a survey approach, targeting a population of accounting staff in several Public Accounting Firms in the area. The results show that Artificial Intelligence and information technology capabilities significantly enhance accounting process efficiency through task automation and better data management. Employee training is essential for making new technologies work best. This study provides practical recommendations for Public Accounting Firms to improve technology adoption and employee training to achieve higher efficiency in accounting processes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing halal sector SMEs in Indonesia in adopting halal certification, as well as to formulate strategies for strengthening the halal ecosystem. A purposive sampling technique was used to select 120 halal SMEs in Malang City as the sample. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) to examine SME owners' behavior toward halal certification and Analytic Network Process (ANP) to develop strategies for strengthening the halal ecosystem. The findings indicate that understanding business value chains and applying subjective Islamic standards play a crucial role in driving the halal certification process. However, there remains room for improvement, particularly in education and understanding of the certification process. The study concludes that enhancing literacy and implementing adaptive policies that respond to SME needs are essential to strengthening and developing a sustainable halal economic ecosystem in Indonesia.

Abstract

Purpose: This study investigates the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in digital marketing for street food businesses in Malang, focusing on training housewives to improve content creation and promotion strategies. The research aims to bridge the digital gap for small-scale food vendors by providing essential digital skills and AI tools. Method: The research employed a mixed-method approach, including pre-training assessments, online training sessions, and personalized mentoring. A total of 20 housewives running street food businesses participated in the training, which was conducted over three months. The AI tools used included Canva AI and Flair AI for photo editing, content creation, and social media optimization. Practical Applications: The study demonstrates how AI-driven tools can enhance social media engagement, brand visibility, and customer interaction for street food vendors. This initiative provides a model for empowering small business owners to leverage digital marketing tools effectively, contributing to their long-term success. Conclusion: The training resulted in significant improvements in participants' digital marketing capabilities, with increased confidence in using AI tools. The findings highlight the transformative potential of AI for MSMEs, particularly in enhancing the competitive edge of street food businesses in Malang.

Abstract

Purpose: This research aims to introduce and educate the Filipino people about the Indonesian halal industry. Method: Educational programs are carried out through seminars, workshops and consultation sessions. The seminar provides theoretical knowledge about the concept and importance of halal products. Practical Applications:Filipinos will have a better understanding of halal products and their importance, so they can make more informed choices. Entrepreneurs in the Philippines will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to develop products that meet international halal standards. Increasing cooperation between Indonesia and the Philippines in the halal industry, strengthening bilateral and economic relations between the two countries. Conclusion:This educational program succeeded in increasing awareness and knowledge about the Indonesian halal industry among the Filipino people. This program provides practical guidance for entrepreneurs in developing halal products, contributes to the growth of the halal market in the Philippines, and strengthens bilateral relations between Indonesia and the Philippines

Abstract

Abstract: The increasing number of private schools in West Jakarta has created competition that offers parents a wide range of choices while requiring schools to continuously adapt to the needs and preferences of the community. This situation highlights the importance of research to understand the factors influencing parents' decisions in selecting schools. This study was conducted to analyze the influence of location, religiosity, and school image on parents' decision-making, both partially and simultaneously, to address gaps in previous research where results have been varied and insufficiently in-depth. Some studies indicate that these variables are significant individually, but there has not been a comprehensive study examining their simultaneous effects. A quantitative approach was used in this research, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to 95 parents of Year 7 students in the 2024/2025 academic year at Sekolah Bukit Sion, using random sampling techniques to ensure objective representation. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression through SPSS version 25. The results showed that location, religiosity, and school image have a significant influence, both individually and simultaneously, on parents' decision-making. Location offers comfort through a serene environment, religiosity reinforces spiritual values through activities such as prayers and retreats, while school image enhances appeal through teachers' quality experience and a positive reputation. This research provides practical insights for designing relevant strategies amid the increasingly dynamic education landscape and offers a scientific foundation for further studies that could explore additional variables such as teacher quality and school facilities. Keyword: School Image, School Location, Decision Making, Religiosity. Abstrak: Pertumbuhan jumlah sekolah swasta di Jakarta Barat yang semakin pesat menciptakan persaingan yang tidak hanya menawarkan beragam pilihan kepada orang tua, tetapi juga menuntut sekolah-sekolah untuk terus beradaptasi dengan kebutuhan dan preferensi masyarakat. Situasi ini menimbulkan pentingnya penelitian untuk memahami faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi keputusan orang tua dalam memilih sekolah. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis pengaruh lokasi, religiusitas, dan citra sekolah terhadap pengambilan keputusan orang tua, baik secara parsial maupun simultan, guna mengisi kesenjangan dalam penelitian sebelumnya yang hasilnya masih bervariasi dan kurang mendalam. Beberapa penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel ini signifikan secara parsial, namun belum ada kajian yang secara komprehensif melihat pengaruh simultannya. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan data yang dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dari 95 orang tua siswa kelas 7 Tahun Ajaran 2024/2025 di Sekolah Bukit Sion menggunakan teknik random sampling untuk representasi yang objektif. Analisis data dilakukan dengan regresi linier berganda melalui SPSS versi 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lokasi, religiusitas, dan citra sekolah memiliki pengaruh signifikan baik secara parsial maupun simultan terhadap keputusan orang tua. Lokasi memberikan kenyamanan melalui lingkungan yang tenang, religiusitas memperkuat nilai-nilai spiritual melalui kegiatan seperti doa dan retret, sedangkan citra sekolah meningkatkan daya tarik melalui pengalaman guru yang berkualitas dan reputasi yang positif. Penelitian ini menawarkan wawasan praktis untuk merancang strategi yang relevan di tengah persaingan pendidikan yang semakin dinamis, sekaligus memberikan pijakan ilmiah untuk penelitian lanjutan yang dapat mengeksplorasi variabel tambahan seperti kualitas guru dan fasilitas sekolah.. Kata kunci: Citra Sekolah, Lokasi Sekolah, Pengambilan Keputusan, Religiusitas

Abstract

Dalam rangka mencapai tujuan pendidikan nasional, peran guru sebagai pendidik yang profesional, inovatif, dan mampu menciptakan suasana belajar yang menyenangkan sangatlah penting. Kinerja guru dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor, baik dari dalam diri guru maupun dari lingkungan eksternal. Salah satu faktor eksternal yang turut berperan adalah strategi kepemimpinan yang diterapkan oleh kepala sekolah. Kepala sekolah memiliki tanggung jawab strategis dalam mendorong peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran melalui pengembangan kinerja guru. Salah satu langkah yang dapat diambil adalah dengan melaksanakan supervisi secara terarah dan berkelanjutan. Di sisi lain, dari aspek internal, kompetensi guru menjadi faktor utama yang menentukan seberapa efektif mereka menjalankan tugasnya di kelas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis : 1) Pengaruh strategi kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru di Madrasah Aliyah Unggulan Bina Insan Mulia. 2) Pengaruh supervisi terhadap kinerja guru di Madrasah Aliyah Unggulan Bina Insan Mulia. 3) Pengaruh kompetensi guru terhadap kinerja guru di Madrasah Aliyah Unggulan Bina Insan Mulia. 4) Pengaruh strategi kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, supervisi dan kompetensi guru terhadap kinerja guru di Madrasah Aliyah unggulan Bina Insan Mulia. Diharapkan penelitian ini dapat memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan, khususnya dalam bidang manajemen pendidikan, kepemimpinan pendidikan dan peningkatan kualitas tenaga pendidik. Sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh, sehingga diperoleh sampel penelitian sebanyak 30 orang guru di Madrasah Aliyah Unggulan Bina Insan Mulia Cirebon. Hal ini dikarenakan populasi penelitian masih masuk dalam kategori kecil. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa strategi kepemimpinan kepala sekolah memiliki pengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja guru. Supervisi memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru. Kompetensi guru memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru. Strategi kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, supervisi dan kompetensi guru secara simultan bersama-sama memiliki pengaruh yang positif terhadap kinerja guru.
