Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di SLB BC Dharmawanita 01 Pakisaji dengan tujuan mengembangkan serta mengenalkan media pembelajaran digital interaktif huruf hijaiyah berbasis AI yang ramah bagi siswa tunarungu, sekaligus meningkatkan peran guru dan orang tua dalam penerapannya. Metode kegiatan mencakup tiga pendekatan, yaitu pengembangan media berbasis AI, workshop bagi guru (n=10) dan orang tua (n=11), serta sosialisasi melalui observasi pada siswa tunarungu (n=9). Hasil pre–post test menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman guru dan orang tua dengan rata-rata kenaikan lebih dari 30% pada indikator pengetahuan media, strategi pendampingan, serta pemahaman indikator keberhasilan belajar anak. Sementara itu, hasil observasi siswa menunjukkan perkembangan positif berupa meningkatnya kemampuan mengenal huruf hijaiyah, fokus belajar, motivasi, kepercayaan diri, serta kemandirian dalam mengulang materi. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa media berbasis AI tidak hanya mempermudah siswa tunarungu memahami huruf hijaiyah, tetapi juga mendukung guru dan orang tua dalam menciptakan pembelajaran agama yang inklusif, interaktif, dan sesuai kebutuhan anak.

Abstract

Anxiety is a common experience, especially among students who are about to face their thesis. This feeling of anxiety is often influenced by their level of self-confidence. For instance, sixth semester students who are preparing to write their thesis often view it as a daunting task, which leads to anxiety. This study aimed to investigate the relationship between self-confidence and anxiety among psychology students in their sixth semester, who are about to embark on their thesis writing journey. The hypothesis proposed was that there is a negative correlation between self-confidence and anxiety. The study employed a quantitative method that utilizes numerical data. The results obtained from the study showed a significant negative correlation between self-confidence and anxiety, with a correlation coefficient of r = -0.326, p = 0.021 (less than 0.05). This means that an increase in self-confidence is associated with a decrease in anxiety among sixth-semester students who are about to write their thesis. Therefore, the research hypothesis was accepted.

Abstract

Indonesia is undergoing a demographic shift marked by a rising proportion of elderly individuals, a trend that is also evident in Malang Regency. A needs assessment conducted among elderly residents of PKK Perum Sengkaling Indah 1 RW 08 identified various physical and psychological health declines that adversely affect their psychological well-being. Mindfulness Yoga was introduced as a strategic intervention aimed at optimizing both physical and psychological health among the elderly. The program was implemented using a structured and systematic approach, comprising three phases: (1) initial preparation, (2) intervention delivery, and (3) final evaluation. Effectiveness of the intervention was assessed through pre-test and post-test measurements. Results indicated a statistically significant improvement in participants’ psychological well-being following two intensive sessions of Mindfulness Yoga (Wilcoxon W = 0.00; p = 0.002). These findings support the feasibility of implementing the program within elderly community settings and highlight its potential for replication in other regions.

Abstract

Keterbatasan ekonomi pada siswa Sekolah Dasar dapat menimbulkan permasalahan pada rasa percaya diri dan motivasi belajar, yang diperparah oleh lingkungan yang kurang mendukung, minimnya akses pendidikan, serta keterbatasan figur role model sehingga anak kurang memiliki orientasi terhadap masa depan. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan rasa percaya diri dan motivasi belajar serta membangun kesadaran akan pentingnya memiliki cita-cita untuk masa depan. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Pusat Pengembangan Anak (PPA) IO-414 GIA Klayatan, Malang, dengan metode psikoedukasi yang mencakup pre-test, penyampaian materi interaktif, pemutaran film motivasi, kuis profesi, penjelasan langkah-langkah meraih cita-cita, serta post-test sebagai bentuk evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan rata-rata skor pemahaman peserta dari 4,3 menjadi 4,8, disertai antusiasme tinggi peserta dalam menuliskan dan mengungkapkan cita-cita mereka. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan psikoedukasi mampu menumbuhkan motivasi belajar dan rasa percaya diri, serta meningkatkan kesadaran anak akan pentingnya perencanaan masa depan, yang berpotensi mendorong semangat belajar siswa.
