Intelligence is often used as a benchmark to predict someone's success in the future. Therefore, intelligence is also often used as a reason for someone to label individuals who do not have the abilities that others want. Students of education faculty as prospective educators in the future have a fairly central role in providing understanding about the intelligence that students have to the parents, senior teachers, and students themselves. Before becoming an educator, education students are expected to have a good concept of intelligence so that the understanding given can be done precisely. This study aims to reveal the concepts of intelligence subjectively to the students of prospective educators from the Javanese and Madurese. The study used a qualitative research approach with a case study model that emphasized the exploration of a system that intertwined with each other. The results showed that education students who originated from Javanese and Madurese have a very diverse concept of intelligence. Despite the diverse concept of intelligence, the concept of the student intelligence of both tribes has a relation that complements each other. Students of both tribes also have the view that each individual has different intelligence. Therefore, most of the students from both tribes have been in line with Howard Gardner’s multiple intelligences theory. The findings in this study are that interpersonal intelligence is considered to be the most prominent by the Madurese people, because the ability to connect with others is very high.

Multiple intelligence is one way to understand the abilities possessed by children. This needs to be re-understood considering that many parents see intelligence based solely on report card scores. It is important to provide understanding to parents about multiple intelligence in order to understand the conditions of development and intelligence possessed by their children. This research aims to increase parents's knowledge about multiple intelligences. This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-type experiment through the provision of psychoeducation. The subjects in this study were 11 parents of SDIT Insantama Malang students with various educational and occupational backgrounds. The study used the Guttman scale to collect data. Participants received a pre-test and post-test to determine the differences before and after attending psychoeducation. Data analysis used paired t test as statistical analysis. The result of this study is that there is a significant influence on the increase in the knowledge of parents about multiple intelligence with a significance value of 0.00 and a t value of -12,111.

Ekspresi emosi merupakan perubahan yang terjadi pada otot dan kelenjar sehingga berpengaruh pada tingkah laku yang berasosiasi dengan emosi. Dalam ekspresi emosi terdapat kebahagiaan yang merupakan emosi positif yang dirasakan oleh individu serta adanya aktivitas positif yang disukai oleh individu tersebut. Penelitian dilakukan pada mahasiswa berasal dari NTT dan Yogyakarta yang berkuliah di kota Malang. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode fenomenologi. Mahasiswa NTT lebih mengungkapkan kebahagiaan pada tindakan yang sudah ditanamkan sejak kecil sesuai dengan budaya yang berada di daerahnya serta memiliki cara yang unik dan segan terhadap teman yang berasal dari NTT. Kebahagiaan yang dimiliki mahasiswa NTT lebih diekspresikan melalui cara menyanyi, bermain gitar dan tentunya mahasiswa NTT memiliki gaya bahasa yang lugas dan tegas ketika berbicara. Mahasiswa Yogyakarta memiliki budaya sopan santun terhadap orang yang lebih tua dan ditanamkan dalam dirinya serta memiliki cara baik untuk menyampaikan pesan secara tidak langsung. Mahasiswa Yogyakarta juga mengekspresikan kebahagiaannya melalui cara membuat sekitarnya senang dan memiliki gaya bahasa yang sopan dan halus ketika berbicara.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penyelenggaraan pendidikan inklusi menggunakan indikator Index for Inclusion yang meliputi dimensi budaya, kebijakan, dan praktik. Definisi pendidikan inklusi merujuk kepada Permendiknas No 70 Tahun 2009 tentang Pendidikan Inklusi yang dianalisis menggunakan perspektif Index for Inclusion dari Booth & Ainscow (2002). Penelitian ini berfokus di SD YBPK Semampir Kota Kediri. Peneliti menggunakan tipe studi kasus untuk mengetahui isu terkait penyelenggaraan pendidikan inklusi secara lebih mendalam. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah guru, siswa, dan orang tua siswa SD YBPK Semampir Kota Kediri. Penelitian ini menggunakan tipe analisis tematik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diketahui bahwa penyelenggaraan pendidikan inklusi telah memenuhi seluruh indikator dalam tiga dimensi Index for Inclusion, yaitu dimensi budaya, kebijakan, dan praktik. Akan tetapi dalam penyelenggaraannya, ada beberapa indicator pada masing-masing dimensi ndex for nclusion yang perlu dikembangkan.

Peningkatan angka urbanisasi yang terjadi dari tahun ke tahun menunjukkan taraf perekonomian masyarakat masih menjadi problem utama yang terjadi di kalangan masyarakat Indonesia pada khususnya. Urbanisasi pada satu sisi menimbulkan peningkatan kesejahteraan namun sisi lain meninggalkan lubang, salah satunya terkait dengan pengasuhan anak. Pengabdian ini dilakukan untuk memberikan pengetahuan mengenai pentingnya pola pengasuhan bagi para urban selain meningkatkan kesejahteraan sosial. Pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan cara memberikan psikoedukasi dengan pendekatan pre-post-test terkait pengetahuan dan pemahaman gaya pengasuhan. Peserta kegiatan ini berjumlah 150 orang terdiri dari ibu muda dan calon ibu. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan pengetahuan ibu muda dan calon ibu berada pada tingkat sedang dan tinggi yang menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan dan pemahaman mengenai pola asuh sangat baik. Kegiatan ini juga menunjukkan bahwa para urban saat ini secara sadar tahu pentingnya pola asuh yang tepat dan tidak mengabaikan peran orang tua khususnya ibu dalam proses tumbuh kembang anak.

The problem that still occurs today is the fear of failure among students. This research aims to examine the effect of learning awareness related to goal orientation on fear of failure. This research method uses quantitative research with structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis to test the effect of learning awareness related to goal orientation on fear of failure. The subjects of this research were 408 students in Indonesia. This research instrument uses a modified goal orientation scale to measure learning awareness related to goal orientation and a modified achievement anxiety scale to measure fear of failure related to achievement anxiety. This research instrument was declared valid and reliable. The results of this research show that awareness of goal orientation will reduce fear of failure. Awareness of goal orientation can reduce fear of failure because students who have an awareness of goals make goals the main focus in the learning process; monitoring and evaluating the process of academic and learning failure; and encourage to determine the path to achieving goals.

Abstract. At home, the role of parents is not only as a facilitator but also as a coach and companions in children's activities during the new normal era, especially in learning activities. The purpose of this study is to analyse parenting style to reduce academic stress in early childhood age 3 to 6 years during new normal era. This study uses a method derived from the literature review (SLR), the systematic mappingstudy (SMS). A systematic mapping study is a systematic literature review that using predetermined protocols and filters. The research conducted an online search on the indexed electronic database of Google Scholar. The Researcher used 14 main articles according to the research topic and matched the keywords. However, other sources that support the theory of child development and parenting style are still needed. The results showed that good parenting through active involvement, responsiveness, caring, sensitivity to children's emotions, communication, and empowerment would ensure positive developmental outcomes during the new normal era. The parenting style to reduce the level of academic stress in early childhood during the new normal by maintaining positive relationships and interactions, facilitating children's needs for remote learning, providing learning assistance, encouraging children to express emotions, creating constructive family rules, showing appreciation to children and parents actively participating in seminars and training on positive parenting. Findings have implications for parents whose children are actively learning and try to use positive parenting style to reduce academic stress during the new normal.Keywords: Parenting style; academic stress; early childhood; new normal; covid-19.

Aggressive behavior in adolescents is a quite serious phenomenon because various aggressive behaviors tend to be hurtful, dangerous, and disturbing to other people. One of the reasons for the tendency of teenagers to have aggressive behavior is due to their parenting style at home. One f parenting style that risks causing teenagers to engage in aggressive behavior is authoritarian parenting. This research was conducted to examine the relationship between authoritarian parenting and aggressive behavior in adolescents. The research uses a quantitative approach with a correlational design. Participants in this research were 150 respondents aged 15-19 years. Sampling was carried out using a non-probability sampling technique. The instrument used in this research was an adaptation of the theory of aggressive behavior by Buss & Perry and a modification of the theory of authoritarian parenting by Baumrind. Data analysis uses correlation, namely product moment. It was found that there was a significant relationship between the two research variables (rxy = 0.481, p<0.000). The results of this research show that the higher the level of authoritarian parenting, the higher the level of aggressive behavior. AbstrakPerilaku agresif pada remaja merupakan fenomena yang cukup serius dikarenakan berbagai perilaku agresif cenderung bersifat menyakiti, berbahaya, dan mengganggu orang lain. Kecenderungan remaja dengan perilaku agresif salah satunya ialah karena pola asuh orang tua di rumah. Salah satu pola asuh yang berisiko menyebabkan remaja terlibat dalam perilaku agresif ialah pola asuh otoriter. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menguji hubungan antara pola asuh otoriter dan perilaku agresif pada remaja. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Partisipan pada penelitian ini sejumlah 150 responden yang berusia 15-19 tahun. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik non-probability sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah hasil adaptasi dari teori perilaku agresif oleh Buss & Perry dan hasil modifikasi teori pola asuh otoriter oleh Baumrind. Analisis data menggunakan korelasi yakni, product moment. Ditemukan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara dua variabel penelitian (rxy = 0,481, p<0,000). Hasil penelitian tersebut menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi tingkat pola asuh otoriter maka akan semakin tinggi tingkat perilaku agresif.

Students who experience unfavorable psychosocial development tend to be vulnerable to social influences and are more easily involved in unhealthy behavior, such as consuming alcohol. The cause of alcohol consumption is weak self-control. Currently, not everyone has an ideal family, there are also families that experience incompleteness within them. One of the causes is the absence of a father's role or figure. The presence of a father has an important role in the development of children's self-control abilities, where children can model self-control from those closest to them as role models. The aim of this research is to test empirically whether there is a relationship between father involvement and self-control in students who consume alcohol. The hypothesis in the research is that there is a relationship between father involvement and self-control. The research is quantitative research with a correlational descriptive design on students who have consumed or are currently consuming alcohol. The sample used was 152 respondents aged 17-20 years using convenience sampling techniques. The measuring instrument used is a modification of the father involvement scale by Lamb (2000) and an adaptation of the self-control scale by Tangney (2004). The data analysis used in this research is descriptive and correlational analysis. An analysis test was carried out using Kolmogrov Smirnov and the results showed that there was a relationship between father involvement and self-control (p < .05). AbstrakMahasiswa yang mengalami perkembangan psikososial yang tidak menguntungkan cenderung rentan terhadap pengaruh pergaulan dan lebih mudah terlibat dalam perilaku yang tidak sehat, seperti mengkonsumsi alkohol. Penyebab terjadinya konsumsi alkohol dikarenakan lemahnya self-control. Saat ini tidak semua orang mempunyai keluarga yang ideal, ada pula keluarga yang mengalami ketidakutuhan didalamnya. Salah satu penyebab yaitu tidak adanya peran ataupun figur seorang ayah. Kehadiran seorang ayah memiliki peranan penting dalam perkembangan kemampuan self-control anak, dimana anak dapat mencontoh mengendalikan dirinya dari orang-orang terdekat sebagai model keteladanan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menguji secara empirik apakah terdapat hubungan father involvement dengan self-control pada mahasiswa yang mengkonsumsi alkohol. Hipotesis dalam penelitian adalah terdapat hubungan antara father involvement dan self-control. Penelitian merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif korelasional pada mahasiswa yang pernah atau sedang mengkonsumsi alkohol. Sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 152 responden dengan usia 17-20 tahun dengan menggunakan teknik convenience sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan merupakan modifikasi dari skala father involvement oleh Lamb (2000) serta adaptasi skala self-control oleh Tangney (2004). Analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif dan korelasional. Dilakukan uji analisis menggunakan Kolmogrov Smirnov dan didapatkan hasil bahwa terdapat hubungan antara father involvement dengan self-control (p < .05).

Fear of failure is a common experience among final-year students. This condition can be attributed to low self-efficacy, or an individual's belief in their own ability. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of self-efficacy on fear of failure among final-year students at Universitas Negeri Malang. The researcher employed a quantitative method using a correlational design. The participants in this study were 130 final-year students at Universitas Negeri Malang. The instruments used in this study were: (1) A self-efficacy scale, constructed based on Bandura's theory (1997), consisting of 15 items with a reliability of 0.857. (2) The Performance Failure Appraisal Inventory (PFAI) to measure students' fear of failure. This scale was adapted by Martin and Yunanto (2023) and modified by the researcher, consisting of 22 items with a reliability of 0.920. Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression. The results showed that self-efficacy contributed 41% to fear of failure, with a negative direction of influence (ρ < 0.000). AbstrakFear of failure (ketakutan akan kegagalan) merupakan kondisi yang cenderung dialami oleh tiap mahasiswa tingkat akhir.. Hal ini dapat diakibatkan karena rendahnya kepercayaan diri individu terhadap kemampuannya (self-efficacy). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh self-efficacy terhadap fear of failure pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir di Universitas Negeri Malang. Peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa tingkat akhir di Universitas Negeri Malang sejumlah 130 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari: (1) Skala self-efficacy, menggunakan metode konstruk dengan mengembangkan teori dari Bandura (1997) yang terdiri dari 15 item dengan reliabilitas 0,857. (2) Performance Failure Appraisal Inventory (PFAI) untuk mengukur fear of failure mahasiswa. Skala ini telah diadaptasi oleh Martin dan Yunanto (2023) dan dimodifikasi oleh peneliti, yang terdiri dari 22 item dengan reliabilitas 0,920. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana, dengan hasil bahwa self-efficacy memberikan kontribusi sebesar 41% terhadap fear of failure dengan arah pengaruh negatif (ρ < 0,000).
