Abstract

Abstract

The attenuation coefficient (Kd) can be extracted by an apparent optical properties(AOP) approach to determine marine shallow-water habitat bathymetry based on an analytical method. Such a method was employed in the Red Sea by Benny and Dawson in 1983 using Landsat MSS imagery. Therefore, we applied the Benny and Dawson algorithm to extract bathymetry in shallow marine waters off Karimunjawa Island, Jepara, Central Java, Indonesia. We used the SPOT 6 satellite, which has four multispectral bands with a spatial resolution of 6 meters. The results show that three bands of SPOT 6 data (the blue, green, and red bands) can produce bathymetric information up to 30.29, 24.63 and 18.58 meters depth respectively. The determinations of the attenuation coefficients of the three bands are 0.08069, 0.09330, and 0.39641. The overall accuracy of absolute bathymetry of the blue, green, and red bands is 61.12%, 65.73%, and 26.25% respectively, and the kappa coefficients are 0.45, 0.52, and 0.13.

Abstract

Indonesia's economic growth has entered a positive path as can be seen from the improvement on the demand side and growth from the supply side. Various improvements in leading indicators at the beginning of 2022 indicate a good economic outlook for Indonesia in the future. The continued increase in the Consumer Confidence Index (CCI) also indicates an increasing recovery in public confidence in carrying out economic activities. Meanwhile, the global economy in 2022 is projected to continue the recovery trend and will rely on the transition of the pandemic to endemic. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) projects global economic growth of 4.4%. The Indonesian government itself targets Indonesia's economic growth in 2022 at 5.2% (yoy)).      The development of product processing technology today makes it difficult for us to distinguish which ones are halal and haram, so it is necessary to ensure that the materials used are clearly traceability and guarantee halalness. Halal Product Process (HPP) is a series of activities to ensure the halalness of products which include the provision of materials, processing, storage, packaging, distribution, sale, and presentation of products. HPP companion in this case are in charge of assisting Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) actors in fulfilling product halal requirements, in order to carry out halal certification obligations. The position of a halal product process (HPP) companion who is also an extension officer is very important in assisting the halal certification process for MSMEs. Their knowledge, example and experience must be integrated with the needs of MSMEs who will manage halal certification in their products. A companion or extension worker is a person who works as an adviser, idea giver, lightener, guide and director. HPP companion are required to build public confidence about the importance of halal and good food and the dangers of non-halal food for health in order to encourage the development of MSMEs to become one of the sources of regional and national economic growth.

Abstract

The current activities in photogrammetry technology such as the permission to apply non-metric cameras, development of Structure from Motion (SfM), and potential usage of videogrammetry are part of the answers to the need for low-cost camera-based mapping. Therefore, this study aimed to test and compare the accuracy of photogrammetry and videogrammetry methods for three-dimensional (3D) modeling obtained using a non-metric camera with SfM processing. Terrestrial Laser Scanner (TLS) was used to obtain comparative data and the results showed a degradation of photo resolution in videogrammetry method, causing a reduction in the number of point clouds produced compared to photogrammetry. Moreover, the point cloud test showed that the surface variation results for both methods were identical to 3D modeling with a higher point density recorded in photogrammetry and the relative distance was different by 0.125 meters. The average difference in point cloud between photogrammetry and TLS was 0.062 meters while videogrammetry and TLS had 0.106 meters. The absolute test produced an RMSE value of 0.022 meters for photogrammetry and 0.032 meters for videogrammetry at a 95% confidence interval, indicating the two methods produced similar data quality. The results led to the conclusion that videogrammetry had satisfactory values and could be used as an alternative in 3D modeling but was not considered better than photogrammetry. Received: 2023-08-13 Revised: 2024-05-27   Accepted: 2024-09-20 Published: 2024-10-10

Abstract

Atmospheric correction has been challenging task in digital image processing. It requires several atmospheric parameters in order to obtain accurate surface reflectance of objects within the image scene. One of the most crucial parameters required for accurate atmospheric correction is aerosol optical depth (AOD). AOD can be obtained by in-situ measurement or estimated from remote sensing observation. In this experiment, atmospheric correction was performed using second simulation of a satellite signal in the solar spectrum-vector (6SV) algorithm on Landsat-8 imagery in which AOD parameter was retrieved from surface reflectance inversion involving daily-global surface reflectance product of moderate resolution imaging spectroradiometer (MODIS). Furthermore, AOD retrieved from surface reflectance inversion was also validated using ground-based sun photometer observation data from aerosol robotic network (AERONET) station in Bandung, Indonesia. Our experiment shows the consistency between AOD from surface reflectance inversion and AOD from ground-based observation. Finally, 6SV was performed on Landsat-8 imagery to obtain the surface reflectance. We further compared surface reflectance of 6SV atmospheric correction and surface reflectance of Landsat-8 Level 2 product. The atmospherically corrected image also shared agreeable result with Landsat 8 Level-2 product.
