Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis relevansi Buku Teks Geografi kelas X Kurikulum 2013 yang digunakan di SMAN Kecamatan Lubuk Basung, Kabupaten Agam ditinjau dari aspek kelayakan isi, penyajian, dan bahasa. Jenis penelitian ini pendekatan kuantitatif, metode analisis isi. Kelayakan Isi Buku Teks Geografi Kelas X, karangan K. Wardiyatmoko, terbitan Erlangga rata-rata 49,32% artinya cukup relevan dengan kurikulum 2013 . Buku Teks, karangan Bambang Nianto Mulyo rata-rata 73,31% relevan dengan kurikulum 2013. Sedangkan Buku Teks Karangan Yasinto Sindhu P, terbitan Erlangga rata-rata 50,66% cukup relevan dengan kurikulum 2013. Kelayakan Penyajian Buku Teks Geografi Kelas X, karangan K. Wardiyatmoko, terbitan Erlangga rata-rata 75,25% artinya relevan dengan kurikulum 2013. Buku Teks, karangan Bambang Nianto Mulyo rata-rata 75% artinya relevan dengan kurikulum 2013. Dan Buku Teks Geografi Karangan Yasinto Sindhu P, terbitan Erlangga rata-rata 78% artinya relevan dengan kurikulum 2013. Kelayakan Bahasa Buku Teks Geografi Kelas X, karangan K. Wardiyatmoko, terbitan Erlangga rata-rata 73,60% artinya relevan dengan kurikulum 2013. Buku Teks, karangan Bambang Nianto Mulyo rata-rata 65,97% artinya relevan dengan kurikulum 2013. Dan Buku Teks Geografi Karangan Yasinto Sindhu P, terbitan Erlangga rata-rata 73,60% artinya relevan dengan kurikulum 2013. Kata Kunci: Analisis Kelayakan Isi, Kelayakan Penyajian, dan Kelayakan Bahasa Buku Teks Geografi Abstract This study aims to analyze the relevance of Class X Curriculum 2013 Geography Textbooks used in SMAN Lubuk Basung Subdistrict, Agam District in terms of aspects of content, presentation and language feasibility. This type of research is a quantitative approach, content analysis method. Eligibility of Class X Geography Text Book, by K. Wardiyatmoko, published by Erlangga on average 49.32% means that it is quite relevant to the 2013 curriculum. Textbooks, Bambang Nianto Mulyo's essay averaged 73.31% relevant to the 2013 curriculum. While the Yasinto Sindhu P Textbook, published by Erlangga an average of 50.66% is quite relevant to the 2013 curriculum. Feasibility of Class X Geography Text Presentation written by K. Wardiyatmoko, Erlangga's publication on average 75.25% means that it is relevant to the 2013 curriculum. Textbooks, Bambang Nianto Mulyo's essay on average 75% means that it is relevant to the 2013 curriculum. And the Geography Textbook by Yasinto Sindhu P, published by Erlangga rata 78% means that it is relevant to the 2013 curriculum. The Language Feasibility of Class X Geography Text Books, written by K. Wardiyatmoko, Erlangga publications on average 73.60% means that it is relevant to the 2013 curriculum. Textbooks, by Bambang Nianto Mulyo on average 65, 97% means that it is relevant to the 2013 curriculum. And the Geography Textbook by Yasinto Sindhu P, published by Erlangga on average 73.60% means that it is relevant to the 2013 curriculum. Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis ketersediaan, kualitas dan penggunaan fasilitas pendidikan Sekolah Menengah Atas dan Madrasah Aliyah di Kecamatan Koto Tangah Kota Padang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian mixed method dan model eksplanatoris sekuensial. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan 1) Ketersediaan Fasilitas pendidikan belum lengkap sesuai dengan Peraturan Menteri Pendidikan Nasional Republik Indonesia Nomor 24 Tahun 2007. karena masih adanya fasilitas pendidikan yang belum tersedia. 2) Fasilitas pendidikan yang tersedia dalam kondisi baik serta layak pakai, namun masih terjadi kerusakan pada sarana seperti kursi, meja, gayung dan lain-lain. Fasilitas yang rusak diakibatkan oleh peserta didik, usia barang, banjir bandang pada tahun 2016, fasilitas yang rusak mengalami perbaikan dan pergantian kembali. 3) Penggunaan fasilitas pendidikan sudah sesuai dengan kegunaanya, namun penggunaan oleh peserta didik masih mengalami kerusakan. serta beberapa sekolah prasarana yang beralih fungsi dan multifungsi. Kata kunci: Ketersediaan, Kualitas, Penggunaan Abstract . This study aims to analyze the availability, quality and use of educational facilities for senior high schools and Madrasah Aliyah in Koto Tangah Subdistrict, Padang City. This type of research is mixed method research and sequential explanatory model. The results of this study indicate 1) the availability of educational facilities is not yet complete in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of National Education of the Republic of Indonesia No. 24 of 2007. because there are still educational facilities that are not yet available. 2) Educational facilities that are available in good condition and suitable for use, but there is still damage to facilities such as chairs, tables, dipper and others. The damaged facilities were caused by students, age of goods, flash floods in 2016, damaged facilities experienced repairs and replacements. 3) The use of educational facilities is in accordance with their functions, but the use by students is still damaged. as well as several infrastructure schools that switch functions and are multifunctional. Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) Bagaimana faktor internal yang berperan dalam pemilihan mata pelajaran Geografi pada pelaksanaan UNBK di SMA Kota Padang (2) bagaimana faktor eksternal yang berperan dalam pemilihan mata pelajaran Geografi pada pelaksanaan UNBK di SMA Kota Padang (3) Faktor determinan antara faktor internal dan faktor eksternal yang berperan dalam pemilihan mata pelajaran Geografi pada pelaksanaan UNBK di SMA Kota Padang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Informan penelitian ditentukan menggunakan teknik snowball sampling sehingga diperoleh informan sebanyak 23 peserta didik, 10 orang tua dan lima orang guru di SMA Kota Padang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor internal yang berperan dalam pemilihan mata pelajaran Geografi pada UNBK di SMA Kota padang adalah motivasi, bakat dan cita-cita serta faktor ekternalnya adalah peran orang tua dan guru. Untuk faktor determinan yang berperan dalam pemilihan mata pelajaran Geografi pada pelaksanaan UNBK di SMA Kota padang adalah faktor internal. Kata Kunci : Ujian Nasional Berbasis Komputer, faktor internal dan faktor eksternal. Abstract This study aims to determine (1) how internal factors play a role in the selection of Geography subjects in the implementation of UNBK in High School of Padang City (2) how external factors play a role in the selection of Geography subjects at UNBK implementation in High School of Padang City (3) Determinant factors between internal factors and external factors that play a role in the selection of Geography subjects at the UNBK implementation in High School of Padang City. The type of research used is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Research informants were determined using snowball sampling technique so that 23 informants, 10 parents and five teachers in High School of Padang City were obtained. The results showed that internal factors that play a role in the selection of Geography subjects at UNBK in High School of Padang City are motivation, talents and ideals and external factors are the role of parents and teachers. For determinant factors that play a role in the selection of Geography subjects on the implementation of UNBK in High School of Padang City are internal factors. Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan argumentasi siswa dalam pembelajaran geografi peminatan pada materi dinamika dan permasalahan kependudukan di SMAN 2 Padang. Penelitian ini tergolong penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan eksperimen dengan sampel penelitian yaitu siswa kelas XI MIPA 3 (36 orang) sebagai kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas XI MIPA 4 (36 orang) sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) Kemampuan argumentasi siswa yang diajarkan melalui pembelajaran dengan strategi metakognitif self-explanation lebih tinggi daripada siswa yang diajarkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional dengan rata-rata 82,92. 2) Tingkat pencapaian indikatornya yaitu menentukan strategi 81,25%, memberikan alasan 80,5%, dan menyimpulkan 86,12%. 3) Pencapaian indikator tertinggi yaitu kemampuan menyimpulkan 86,12%. Kata kunci : Strategi Metakognitif Self-Explanation, Kemampuan Argumentasi Siswa. ABSTRACT This research aims to improving student’s argumentation skill in learning of geography of interest on the topic of dynamics and problem of demography in SMAN 2 Padang. This research is classified as descriptive research with the experiment approach with research sample that is student of class XI MIPA 3 (36 person) as experiment approach with research sample that is student of class XI MIPA 4 (36 person) as control class. The results showed: 1) Student’s argumentation skill taught through learning with metacognitive self-explanation strategy is higher than students taught with conventional learning with mean of 82,92. 2) Level of achievement of the indicator that is determining the strategy 81,25%, giving the reason 80,5%, and concluded 86,12%. 3) Achievement of the highest indicator is the ability to conclude 86,12%. Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristikwisatawanberdasarkan sosiodemografis, geografis, dan psikologis, dan untuk mengetahui motivasi wisatawan di Objek Wisata Air Terjun Nyarai,Tapian Puti dan Rumah Pohon di Kecamatan Lubuk Alung dan Batang Anai. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Desember 2017- Januari2018. Sumber data sampel sebanyak 136 responden. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan wawancara/ angket, pengamatan dan dokumentasi.Teknik analisis data penelitian memakai persentase dan rata-rata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan karakteristik wisatawan di Objek WisataAir Terjun Nyarai, Tapian Puti dan Rumah Pohon di Kecamatan Lubuk Alung dan Batang Anaidi dominasi oleh laki-laki 61 orang (44.8%) dan perempuan 46 orang (33.8%) dengan umur 17-25 dengan pekerjaan mahasiswa 80 orang (58.8 %) dan Berasal dari luar Kecamatan Lubuk Alung. Motivasi wisatawan di Objek Wisata Nyarai, Tapian Puti dan Rumah Pohon adalah berpetualang. Kata Kunci: karakteristik, motivasi, wisatawan ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the characteristics of tourists based on socio-demographic, geographical, and psychological, and to determine the motivation of tourists in Nyarai Waterfall, Tapian Puti and Tree House tourism objects in Lubuk Alung and Batang Anai Districts. The type of research used in this study is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. This research was conducted in December 2017-January2018 . Sample data sources were 136 respondents. Data collection techniques in this study are using interviews / questionnaires, observations and documentation. Research data analysis techniques use percentages and averages. The results showed that the characteristics of tourist in Nyarai Waterfall, Tapian Puti and Tree House tourism objects in Lubuk Alung and Batang Anai Districts were dominated by men 61 people (44.8%) and women 46 people (33.8%) aged 17-25 with 80 students (58.8%)and Fromoutside the sub-district.Motivation of tourists in Nyarai Tourism Object, Tapian Puti and Tree House is adventure. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kurangnya minat menjadi guru geografi pada mahasiswa dan alumni pendidikan . Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana minat terhadap profesi guru geografi pada mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Geografi dan Mengetahui apa Faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan angket dan lembar observasi sebagai alat pengumpulan data. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa tahun masuk 2015, 2016, 2017 dan 2018 Prodi Pendidikan Geografi, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial. Universitas Negeri Padang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan: 1) persentase minat pada mahasiswa pendidikan geografi sebesar 79% yang artinya rata-rata mahasiswa memiliki minat terhadap profesi guru geografi 2) faktor internal dan faktor eksternal mempengaruhi minat mahasiswa terhadap profesi guru, dengan persentase faktor internal 55% dan faktor eksternal 54%.

Abstract

This article was written to find out the feasibility or implementation of HOTS learning in terms of planning, implementation, and assessment aspects in the material of Atmospheric Dynamics and Its Impact in Life. This type of research is descriptive with a quantitative approach. The population of this research are all Class X IIS in SMA Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP and SMA Pertiwi 1 Padang. This research uses random sampling technique, namely Class X IIS 1 at SMA Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP and Class X IIS 2 at SMA Pertiwi 1 Padang. The results of the research show (1) in terms of lesson planning aspect, both schools are included in the very good category with a percentage of 93.75%. (2) in terms of learning implementation aspect in the ABD activities, both schools get good categories with a percentage between 75% -87%, while for ABL activities, SMA Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP gets a good category with a percentage between 76% -84% different from SMA Pertiwi 1 Padang which gets deficient and poor category with a percentage of 60% -67%. (3) in terms of learning assessment (LKPD) SMA Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP gets a percentage between 75% -100% better than SMA Pertiwi 1 which gets a percentage of 50% -83.3%.

Abstract

The article was written to describe the history, procession, noble values, obstacles and preservation efforts of Local Wisdom “Bacarotai” in Kanagarian Sungai Tanang, Banuhampu District, Agam Regency. The type of research is qualitative descriptive. The informants ar Sungai Tanang village headman, traditional leaders, Bundo Kanduang, community leaders and mosque administrators. Data was collected by in-depth interviews and documentation studies. This research found that (1) the local wisdom of Bacarotai originating from the discussion of Mamak Kaum who wanted Nagari Sungai Tanang to have a large pond (Tabek Gadang) and cultivated it into prohibited fish except when Maoyong or work together to fishing and sell the fish. The remaining fish after Maoyong is given for Bacarotai (2) The Bacarotai procession begins with holding a paid fishing pole which is then calmed for six months, the day before Bacarotai, water is reduced. The next day the people gather at 6 am at the edge of Tabek Gadang, and then Beduk or Siren is sounded. Simultaneously, the people net the fish with Tangguak. After all the fish are taken, the pond is cleaned from the mud and Tabek Gadang is being repaired at a time, then the procession is closed by spreading the fish seeds again. (3) The noble values of Local Wisdom Bacarotai are hospitality, kinship, togetherness, ‘bagurau’(jest), affection and tolerant (4) Obstacles during Bacarotai are rice fields around Tabek Gadang that need irrigation are disrupted and jammed (5) Bacarotai’s preservation is carried out by creating flashbacks in the form of videos, books and making it one of Indonesia's cultural heritages.

Abstract

This article was written to find out the feasibility of HOTS learning in terms of planning, implementation, and assessment aspects on material of Atmospheric Dynamics and Its Impact in Life. This research uses descriptive quantitative method. The population of this research are all Grade X students in SMAN 2 Bukittinggi dan SMAN 3 Bukittinggi who study Geography. The sampling uses Random sampling technique with the results of Class X IPS 4 at SMAN 2 Bukittinggi and X IPS 2 at SMAN 3 Bukittinggi. The results of the research are reviewed from (1) the lesson planning aspect of the two schools which is included in the very good category where they gets percentage of 91.67% and 89.58%. (2) the learning implementation aspect, there are differences in the students’ Advanced Learning Activities where SMAN 2 Bukittinggi gets a percentage of 71% -75% with a deficient category, while SMAN 3 Bukittinggi gets 74% -83% with deficient and good categories. (3) the aspect of LKPD’s assessment, in SMAN 2 Bukittinggi has not been included in the HOTS category, while SMAN 3 Bukittinggi has been already included in the HOTS category.

Abstract

This article was written to find out the feasibility of HOTS learning in terms of planning aspects, implementation aspects, and learning assessment aspects in Basic Competency (KD) of Atmospheric Dynamics and Its Impact in Life. This type of research is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The population of this research are all Class X IPS at SMAN 8 Padang and SMAN 10 Padang. The determination of the sample is done by random sampling technique. The sample chosen in this research is Class X IIS 1 for SMAN 10 Padang and X IPS 1 for SMAN 8 Padang. The result shows that in terms of lesson planning aspects at SMAN 8 Padang and SMAN 10 Padang are in very good category with a percentage of 89.58% - 95.83%. In terms of the implementation aspects of learning it results in advanced learning activities (ABL) with a percentage of 62.78% - 70.00% in deficient category, while at SMAN 10 Padang with a percentage of 90.32% - 91.29% in very good category. In terms of assessment aspects (students’ worksheet) which was made by teachers of SMAN 8 Padang with a percentage of 75% - 87.5% is in good category, while students’ worksheet made by teachers of SMAN 10 Padang with a percentage of 75% - 100% in very good category.
