Abstract

The market area in Bungo Regency is an area with community activities and a high number of vehicles so that it has an impact on the air quality around the area. This study aims to design a monitoring tool as a cost-effective facility in order to monitor air quality as a first step to minimize air pollution in the Bungo market area. Air quality is assess through temperature and humidity measured using the DHT11 sensor, smoke levels in the air are measured using the MQ2 sensor, and light intensity is measured using the LDR module.

Abstract

The sector transportation is one of the main causes of environmental damage. Environmental changes that occur will affect climatic conditions in general. This study aims to determine the effect of hot climate on routine cycling activities on the dehydration status and fatigue of a person cycling based on changes in body weight, knowledge of dehydration and fatigue, temperature and the level of heat index. This research was conducted by measuring  the  body  weight,  humidity,  and  temperature  of  the  cyclists  before  and  after training. Measurements were made on November 6, 2020 with a total of 20 subjects who are members  of  the  Tanggungharjo  bicycle  club.  From  the  results  of  simple  analysis,  it  is obtained that the average number is 153 for those aged 30 years and under with the ideal limit category, while at the age of 30 years and above the average figure is 156.1 with the tolerance limit category. Therefore, the level of dehydration and fatigue can include several factors such as age, temperature, humidity and body weight.

Abstract

The research under study has the aim of knowing (1). How the incandescent lamp affects. (2) How does the LED Light influence. (3) How does the fluorescent lamp affect. (4) How does the Lumment Lamp affect. Against the growth of soybean plants. This study uses technical analysis of data obtained from observations and measurements in observing the growth of soybean plants that lasts for 10 days. The conclusions resulting from the study indicate that 1). Incandescent lamps are able to have an influence on the growth of soybean plants even though they only produce stem shoots. 2) LED lights can have an effect on the growth of soybean plants even though they only produce stem shoots. 3) Flourescent lamp is able to influence the growth of soybean plants by producing roots, stems and leaves. 4) Incandescent lamps can have an influence on the growth of soybean plants by producing roots, stems and leaves.

Abstract

Almost every year, most of Grobogan Regency experiences drought which can affect various fields including agriculture, where some of the people are farmers. This article aims to analyze the comparison of the secondary crops of maize and green beans during the drought season in the villages of Banjardowo, Plosorejo, and Mayahan, Grobogan Regency. This study used survey research involving 20 respondents (farmers) from the three villages. Data collection techniques, namely, observation, interviews, respondent questionnaires and documentation. The results of the interview showed that the interviewee planted green beans as a staple crop in both the rice-paddy-secondary crops and the rice-crops-bero cropping pattern. Cultivating green beans in the rice-crops-bero pattern, the farmers of the three villages planted them on broken land (nelo: Java) because of the high level of drought. The results from 20 respondents were seen from 6 aspects: 1) suitability of plants in the dry season. 2) Planting on the ground that is broken (Nelo: Java). 3) relatively water efficient. 4) High Income. 5) Pest resistance. 6) Abbreviations of the harvest period, namely the average yield of green bean plants is 87.04% while corn is 52.04%. The conclusion of this research is that green beans are a suitable alternative crop to be planted in the dry season.

Abstract

Pelumas bekas merupakan limbah kategori limbah B3 (bahan berbahaya dan beracun) yang sering kita jumpai di lingkungan sekitar terutama di bengkel. Sedangkan ampas tebu dan serbuk gergaji juga merupakan limbah yang belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui daya serap adsorben ampas tebu dan serbuk gergaji kayu pada limbah pelumas dan pelumas bekas yang tercemar dalam air. Pembuatan adsorben dilakukan dengan cara menjemur adsorben, menghaluskan, kemudian mengayaknya dengan ukuran 1-3 mm, selanjutnya diturunkan kadar airnya dengan cara dioven pada suhu 110o C selama 1 jam. Adsorben dimasukan ke dalam kantong kain yang diberi tali dengan presentase volume ampas tebu dengan serbuk gergaji kayu yaitu 25%:75%, 50%:50%, dan 75%:25%. Adsorbsi dilakukan dengan cara memasukan adsorben ke dalam adsorbat dengan variasi waktu 15 menit dan 30 menit. Hasil yang didapatkan adsorben dengan komposisi ampas tebu dan serbuk gergaji 75%:25% selama 30 menit memiliki daya adsorbsi terbesar yaitu 4,67 g/g pada pelumas bekas. Sedangkan daya serap adsorben tertinggi pada pelumas bekas dalam air terjadi pada adsorben dengan komposisi volume 25%: 75% ampas tebu dan serbuk gergaji kayu dengan waktu kontak 15 menit memiiki daya adsorbsi 1,33 g/g.

Abstract

Technology that is increasingly developing produces equipments in the form of information, communication, production, transportation and entertainment facilities. Most of the equipments produce noises. Noise can be reduced by using acoustic dampers. This study aims to determine the potential for sound absorption from rice husks and straw as natural acoustic materials. Materials used include rice husks, rice straw, and resin. 12 cylindrical samples were made. Samples that have been made are tested using a sound absorption measuring instrument that is the impedance tube to measure the value of the sample sound absorption coefficient. The test results show the value of the sound absorption coefficient (α) can be influenced by the thickness. At a frequency of 500 Hz the value of the sound absorption coefficient (α) for each sample is 0.034dB; 0.030dB; 0.030dB; 0.027dB; 0.026dB; 0.027dB; 0.025dB; 0.025dB; 0.025dB; 0.024dB; 0.024dB; 0.023dB; 0.023dB. The sample material is good in research on materials 1 and 2 which have a sound absorption of 0.034 dB and 0.030 dB.

Abstract

The development of science and technology has resulted in the increasing use of sophisticated equipment that can produce unwanted sounds, resulting in noise. Acoustic materials are a solution that can reduce noise. This study aims to determine the sound absorption coefficient of a composite of teak sawdust and polyester resin as an environmentally friendly acoustic material. The sample was made in the form of a cylinder using a press of as many as six samples with a comparison of the mass fraction of teak sawdust and the mass fraction of polyester resin, namely sample 1 (30:70), sample 2 (40:60), sample 3 (50:50), sample 4 (60:40), sample 5(70:30), sample 6(80:20). The samples that have been made were tested using a resonance space and sound level meter to measure the value of the sound absorption coefficient (α) at frequencies of 500 Hz, 1000 Hz, 1500 Hz, 2000 Hz, 2500 Hz, and 3000 Hz. The optimal acoustic material sample in sample 1 with a fiber mass fraction of 30% and a sound absorption coefficient of 0.707 at a frequency of 3000 Hz.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian untuk menentukan nilai koefisien dan efektivitas absorbsi  bunyi dengan resonansi space dan sound level meter TS 1351. Material yang digunakan rockwool dengan variasi ketebalan 1 cm, 2 cm, 3 cm, 4 cm, 5 cm, 6 cm dan 7 cm. Pengukuran pada frekuensi sumber 2000 Hz, 3000 Hz, 4000 Hz, 5000 Hz, 6000 Hz dan 7000 Hz. Koefisien koefisien absorbsi rockwool (α) bernilai 0,04 – 0,08 dan terdapat perbedaan pada ketebalan 1 cm dan 2 cm disebabkan tingkat kerapatan rockwool yang berbeda. Efektivitas absorbsi terhadap kemampuan menyerap bunyi paling baik dimiliki oleh ketebalan 7 cm. Pada ketebalan 7 cm memiliki efektivitas absorbsi pada range frekuensi yang tinggi antara frekuensi 4000 Hz, 5000 Hz, 6000 Hz dan 7000 Hz dengan nilai efektivitas 27,86%, 30,84%, 31,24% dan 29,95%. Sedangkan frekuensi 2000 Hz dan 3000 Hz nilai efektivitas absorbsi pada ketebalan rockwool 6 cm dengan nilai 31,78% dan 27,27%. Sehingga rockwool dapat digunakan sebagai media/bahan absorbsi gelombang bunyi pada range frekuensi tertentu.

Abstract

Online practicum is one of the learning solutions during the pandemic but requires adjustments both in terms of material and practicum modules. The purpose of this study was to develop a Digital Fundamental physics Practicum Module on Electromagnetic Materials. The module developed is in the form of a digital module for Fundamental physics Practicum assisted by an integrated practicum video. The Research and Development Model chosen is  a    4-D Development Model which has four process stages, namely Define, Design, Development, and Disseminate. The results of the validation of the material experts obtained that the coverage and accuracy aspects of the material obtained a percentage score of 80% and the aspect of material recency received a score of 93%. The results of the validation of linguists found that aspects of language suitability and communicative use of language obtained a percentage score of 93%. In addition, the aspect of using language that stimulates student curiosity has a score of 80%. The results of media expert validation found that the media presented in the digital practicum module had the accuracy of using media in the form of images and videos, aesthetics in images and videos, as well as a clear and systematic description of video interpretation with an average score of 93%. The feasibility test resulted in an average percentage score of 86%, this means that the module is in the very feasible category

Abstract

Lapisan tipis ZnO telah terdeposisi pada substrat kaca ITO (Indium Tin Oxide) dengan metode sol-gel spin-coating. Zink asetat digunakan sebagai prekursor, isopropanol sebagai pelarutdan ethanolamine sebagai penstabil. Perlakuan anil setelah deposisi dilakukan dengan variasi temperatur 300, 400 dan 500ËšC selama 1 jam di udara untuk mempelajari efek anil pada sifat optik. Karakterisasi sifat optik meliputi, transmitansi, absobansi dan celah pita optik (optical band gap) dari lapisan tipis ZnO dilakukan dengan menggunakan UV-Vis Spektroskopi. Film tipis ZnO yang tebentuk memiliki transmitansi di atas 80% pada daerah cahaya tampak. Selain itu, absorbansi masksimum diperoleh pada panjang gelombang rendah dalam rentang 300-390 nm untuk semua lapisan tipis ZnO yang dianil pada temperatur berbeda. Peningkatan temperatur anil pada lapisan tipis ZnO berakibat pada bertambah lebar celah pita optik, yaitu dari 3.0 eV ke 3.3 eV. Sifat optik dari lapisan tipis ZnO yang dideposisikan dengan metode sol-gel spin-coating sangat dipengaruhi oleh perlakuan anil setelahnya.
