Abstract

Abstrak: Kegiatan penulisan surat menyurat yang dihasilkan oleh mahasiswa masih banyak ditemukan kesalahan, oleh karena itu kegiatan ini dilakukan untuk membantu mahasiswa dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menyusun atau membuat surat-menyurat dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan lembaga kemahasiswaan, khusunya di Himpunan Mahasiswa Program Studi di lingkungan Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Uiniversitas Muhammadiyah Mataram sesuai kaidah kebahasaan yang baik dan benar. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini adalah metode ceramah dan praktik dalam pelatihan. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan menunjukan bahwa pelatihan yang dilaksanakan dapat memberi dampak positif terutama dalam meningkatkan kecakapan untuk menghasilkan penulisan surat-menyurat yang sesuai dengan penyusunan struktur surat yang baik dan benar.Abstract: The activities of writing correspondence produced by students are still found to be many errors, therefore this activity is carried out to help students in improving their ability to compile or make correspondence in the implementation of student institution activities, especially in the Student Association of Study Programs within the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Universitas Muhammadiyah Mataram by good and correct linguistic rules. The methods used in this training are lecture and practice methods in training. The results of the implementation of the activity show that the training carried out can have a positive impact, especially in improving skills to produce correspondence writing by the preparation of a good and correct letter structure.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop and evaluate STEAM based student worksheet book (LKS). This research used Research Design, development ADDIE’s Model consisting of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. This research had been implemented in SDN 05 Aikmel, in which the population of the study was 23 students of the third grade. It had 6 samples where the samples were taken by purpose sampling method with low, medium, and high achievement criteria. The collected data were gained by interview and questionnaire. The gained data were then analyzed by using rating scale, on a scale of 5 which were subsequently converted to qualitative data. The result of the study showed that the average value of the experts was 4, 28 with very good category, while the user response (teachers and students) was 4, 55 with a very good category. The conclusions of this research shows that STEAM based student worksheet book which is developed eligibel and can be used as a supporting learning resources for 2013 curriculum based thematic learning.

Abstract

Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk, makna, dan fungsi diksi yang digunakan dalam komunikasi lisan di lingkungan Universitas Muhammadiyah Mataram. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode observasi, metode wawancara, metode transkripsi, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen yang digunakan ialah berupa daftar pertanyaan dengan menggunakan alat penunjang lain seperti, gawai (handphone), buku dan balpoin. Data dalam penelitian ini dianalisis melalui identifikasi data, klasifikasi data, interpretasi data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Simpulan hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa diksi yang digunakan oleh mahasiswa dalam berkomunikasi dari segi bentuk diperoleh sebanyak 30,30% penggunaan kata asing, penggunaan kata ilmiah sebanyak 19,69%, penggunaan kata slang sebanyak 16,66%, penggunaan kata jargon sebanyak 9,09%, penggunaan kata kajian sebanyak 7,57%, penggunaan kata populer sebanyak 4,54%, penggunaan kata abstrak sebanyak 3,03%, penggunaan kata konkret sebanyak 3,03%, penggunaan kata umum sebanyak 3,03%, penggunaan kata khusus sebanyak 3,03%. Berdasarkan maknanya diperoleh sebanyak 62,12% makna denotatif, makna konotasi sebanyak 33,33%, makna afektif sebanyak 4,54%. Berdasarkan fungsinya diperoleh sebanyak 50% fungsi intelektual, fungsi sebagai bahasa gaul sebanyak 16,66%, fungsi sebagai identitas diri sebanyak 9,09%, fungsi deskriptif sebanyak 7,57%, fungsi ekspresif sebanyak 6,06%, fungsi informasional sebanyak 6,06%, dan diperoleh sebanyak 4,54% fungsi untuk mempercepat pemahaman. Abstract: This study aims to describe the form, meaning, and function of diction used in oral communication within the Muhammadiyah University of Mataram. This research uses qualitative descriptive method. Data collection was carried out using observation methods, interview methods, transcription methods, and documentation. The instrument used is in the form of a list of questions using other supporting tools such as, gadgets (cellphones), books and balpoints. The data in this study were analyzed through data identification, data classification, data interpretation, and drawing conclusions. The conclusion of the results of this study shows that the diction used by students in communicating in terms of form was obtained as much as 30.30% of the use of foreign words, the use of scientific words as much as 19.69%, the use of slang words as much as 16.66%, the use of jargon words as much as 9.09%, the use of study words as much as 7.57%, the use of popular words as much as 4.54%, the use of abstract words as much as 3.03%, the use of concrete words as much as 3.03%, the use of concrete words as much as 3.03%,  the use of common words is 3.03%, the use of special words is 3.03%. Based on the meaning obtained as much as 62.12% denotative meaning, connotative meaning as much as 33.33%, affective meaning as much as 4.54%. Based on its function, 50% of intellectual functions were obtained, functions as slang as much as 16.66%, functions as self-identity as much as 9.09%, descriptive functions as much as 7.57%, expressive functions as much as 6.06%, informational functions as much as 6.06%, and obtained as many as 4.54% functions to accelerate understanding.

Abstract

Using SFL analysis, this study seeks to describe the transitivity elements of Joko Widodo's speech at the G20 Summit. Through this research, it is hoped that insight will be gained and research development will be enhanced in the field of transitivity analysis contained in a text or similar material, and this research will then serve as a reference or source of information for future researchers. There are both spoken and written varieties of spoken language. Speech is one manifestation of oral communication. Empirical, practical, and theoretical phenomena constitute the primary foundation of research-based reasoning. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method and simple quantitative reasoning to provide a more comprehensive understanding of the quantity and presentation of tabular data. The data being analyzed is spoken data that is subsequently transcribed into words, phrases, clauses, and phrase groups. The data source is an audio-visual recording of Jokowi's speech obtained from the YouTube page of KompasTV.com. The method of data acquisition employs the listening technique, which is supported by the note-taking technique. In presenting data analysis, researchers employ general methods. The findings revealed that the types of processes detected in the data were mental, relational, behavioral, and verbal, with material processes dominating in appearance. Participant I and Participant II were discovered as humans and abstracts, respectively. The types of circumstances discovered took the form of extent, cause, matter, and function, and the manner of circumstance appearance predominated.

Abstract

Abstrak Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi bahasa Inggris anggota Kelompok Sadar Wisata (Pokdarwis) Sejahtera di Desa Medana, Kabupaten Lombok Utara. Kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya penguasaan bahasa Inggris fungsional anggota Pokdarwis dalam melayani wisatawan asing. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, tim pelaksana merancang pelatihan bahasa Inggris berbasis e-learning dengan pendekatan komunikatif yang kontekstual dan praktis. Pelatihan dilakukan dalam tiga tahap, yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan, serta monitoring dan evaluasi. Tahap persiapan meliputi observasi kebutuhan dan penyusunan modul pembelajaran. Tahap pelaksanaan dilakukan dengan metode blended learning melalui sesi tatap muka dan daring menggunakan Google Classroom dan WhatsApp. Peserta dilibatkan secara aktif dalam kegiatan simulasi, diskusi, dan praktik langsung. Evaluasi program dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner Likert kepada seluruh peserta. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan ini efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa Inggris peserta, terutama dalam konteks pariwisata. Selain itu, pelatihan juga meningkatkan motivasi peserta untuk terus belajar secara mandiri. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan bahasa Inggris berbasis e-learning dapat menjadi alternatif solusi pembelajaran di daerah wisata pedesaan. Kata kunci: pengabdian kepada masyarakat; bahasa inggris; pokdarwis; e-learning; pembelajaran kontekstual; pariwisata. Abstract This community service activity aims to improve the English communication skills of members of the Sejahtera Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) in Medana Village, North Lombok Regency. This activity was motivated by the low level of functional English proficiency among Pokdarwis members in serving foreign tourists. To address this issue, the implementation team designed an e-learning-based English language training program using a communicative, contextual, and practical approach. The training was conducted in three phases: preparation, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation. The preparation phase involved needs assessment and the development of learning modules. The implementation phase was carried out using a blended learning method, combining face-to-face sessions and online sessions via Google Classroom and WhatsApp. Participants were actively involved in simulations, discussions, and hands-on practice. Program evaluation was conducted through the distribution of Likert questionnaires to all participants. Evaluation results indicated that the training was effective in improving participants' English language skills, particularly in the context of tourism. Additionally, the training enhanced participants' motivation to continue learning independently. These findings suggest that e-learning-based English language training can serve as an alternative solution for education in rural tourist areas. Keywords: community service; english language; pokdarwis; e-learning; contextual learning; tourism

Abstract

ABSTRAKKegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik digital guru dan keterampilan literasi siswa melalui pemanfaatan media digital dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Adapun mitra dalam program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah guru-guru SDN 2 Jatisela yang berjumlah 12 orang dan siswa kelas 5 yang berjumlah 32 orang. PKM ini dilaksanakan selama 3 hari pada tanggal 7-9 Mei 2026. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif melalui tahapan sosialisasi, pelatihan, implementasi, pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Pada tahap sosialisasi dilakukan melalui koordinasi dengan kepala sekolah dan guru SDN 2 Jatisela untuk menyamakan persepsi terkait tujuan, manfaat, dan mekanisme kegiatan. Tahap pelatihan menggunakan model workshop berbasis praktik (learning by doing). Sementara itu, pada tahap implementasi guru mengiimplementasi modul ajar digital di kelas. Tim mendampingi guru dalam penggunaan media digital saat pembelajaran menyimak, membaca, menulis, dan berbicara, pelaksanaan proyek literasi digital siswa. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test sederhana kompetensi digital guru, analisis peningkatan partisipasi siswa, dokumentasi karya siswa, dan kuesioner kepuasan mitra. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada kompetensi guru dalam merancang dan mengimplementasikan pembelajaran berbasis digital dengan capaian sekitar 83,33% guru mampu menyusun dan menerapkan modul ajar digital. Selain itu, sekitar 87,5% siswa kelas tinggi berhasil menghasilkan karya literasi digital, seperti cerita digital dan presentasi sederhana. Pembelajaran menjadi lebih interaktif, kontekstual, dan berpusat pada siswa. Program ini juga berhasil mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan fasilitas digital sekolah serta membangun repositori media pembelajaran. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi nyata terhadap peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia serta penguatan literasi digital di sekolah dasar.Kata kunci: Pembelajaran Digital; Literasi Digital; Bahasa Indonesia; Sekolah Dasar. ABSTRACTThis community service activity aims to enhance teachers’ digital pedagogical competencies and students’ literacy skills through the use of digital media in Indonesian language instruction. The partners in this community service program are 12 teachers from SDN 2 Jatisela and 32 fifth-grade students. This community service program was conducted over three days from May 7–9, 2026. The implementation method used a participatory approach through the stages of socialization, training, implementation, mentoring, and evaluation. The socialization stage was carried out through coordination with the principal and teachers of SDN 2 Jatisela to align perceptions regarding the objectives, benefits, and mechanisms of the activity. The training stage utilized a practice-based workshop model (learning by doing). Meanwhile, during the implementation stage, teachers applied digital learning modules in the classroom. The team provided guidance to teachers on the use of digital media during lessons on listening, reading, writing, and speaking, as well as the implementation of student digital literacy projects. The evaluation was conducted through simple pre- and post-tests of teachers’ digital competencies, an analysis of increases in student participation, documentation of student work, and a partner satisfaction questionnaire. The results of the activity showed a significant improvement in teachers’ competencies in designing and implementing digital-based learning, with approximately 83,33% of teachers able to develop and implement digital teaching modules. In addition, about 87,5% of upper-grade students successfully produced digital literacy works, such as digital stories and simple presentations. Learning became more interactive, contextual, and student-centered. The program also succeeded in optimizing the use of school digital facilities and building a learning media repository. Thus, this activity made a tangible contribution to improving the quality of Indonesian language learning and strengthening digital literacy in elementary schools. Keywords: Digital Learning; Digital Literacy; Indonesian Language; Elementary School.
