Abstract

Today, the development of communication and information processes is technology-based, including in Islamic educational institutions. In response to advancements in information technology, the Ministry of Religious Affairs, through the Decree of the Director General of Islamic Education Number 5974 of 2019, established regulations regarding the use of the Education Management Information System (EMIS) application as an educational management information system. Aligned with the importance of information flow within an institution, Islamic educational institutions are increasingly required to utilize and manage information systems effectively and efficiently. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the implementation of the Education Management Information System (EMIS) as a management information system at MI Muhammadiyah Kalipetung, Banyumas Regency. This study employs a descriptive, qualitative research method, drawing on sociological and psychological approaches. Data were obtained through interviews with the principal, the school operator, teachers, and students at MI Muhammadiyah Kalipetung, Banyumas Regency, as well as through observation and documentation. The data sources consist of primary and secondary data. The research process included data collection, data presentation, data reduction, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the implementation of the Education Management Information System (EMIS) as a model of educational management information system—analyzed from the resource aspects of staff, information, authority, and facilities—has been effectively implemented at MI Muhammadiyah Kalipetung, Banyumas Regency. The implementation of EMIS is considered successful and beneficial for all related parties, contributing to improvements in educational quality and standards at MI Muhammadiyah Kalipetung.

Abstract

A conducive learning environment is an important foundation in creating a quality and meaningful learning experience. However, many schools still face challenges in designing learning environments that are adaptive to the diverse needs of students, which ultimately results in low levels of student engagement. This article aims to examine strategic approaches in the management of the learning environment in schools as an effort to improve student engagement and learning quality holistically. This study uses a literature study method or literature review by analyzing various theories and the latest research results regarding learning environment design, educational psychology, and classroom management. The results of the study show that effective management of the learning environment is not only limited to physical aspects (such as classroom layout and facilities), but also includes psychosocial aspects (safe and supportive classroom climate) and digital aspects (use of learning technology). Through an integrated and data-driven approach, schools can create a learning atmosphere that is not only engaging but also effective in improving student learning outcomes. This research is expected to provide insights and recommendations for educators and school managers in developing an optimal learning environment.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of humanistic education within the framework of Ki Hajar Dewantara’s Tri Center of Education theory and its implications for instilling moral values (budi pekerti) in elementary schools. Using a qualitative approach with interview, observation, and literature review techniques, this research examines the synergy between school, family, and community environments. The findings indicate that humanistic education, which focuses on the holistic development of individual potential and positive social interaction, is highly effective in shaping students’ character. The integration of moral values such as honesty, responsibility, and empathy is carried out through active learning methods, teacher role modeling, and collaboration with parents and community leaders. Despite facing challenges such as limited resources and a lack of educators’ understanding, solutions can be achieved through professional training and the improvement of school facilities. This study concludes that harmonious collaboration among the three centers of education is the key to creating an educational ecosystem that supports the development of a character-driven and competitive future generation.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Setting kelas atau penataan lingkungan belajar bukan sekadar aspek teknis, melainkan fondasi strategis dalam menciptakan pembelajaran yang efektif. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menjabarkan konsep setting kelas dalam perspektif manajemen pendidikan, (2) mengidentifikasi prinsip-prinsip utama setting kelas yang berkontribusi terhadap efektivitas pembelajaran, dan (3) menganalisis dampak setting kelas terhadap peningkatan keterlibatan siswa. Metode penelitian menggunakan systematic literature review dengan menelaah artikel ilmiah dan studi empiris dari jurnal bereputasi (SINTA) serta buku akademik terkini (2020-2025). Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa setting kelas yang efektif dibangun di atas tiga pilar utama: desain lingkungan fisik yang fleksibel dan stimulatif, iklim sosio-emosional yang aman dan suportif, serta manajemen pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa. Prinsip-prinsip seperti fleksibilitas tata ruang, keamanan psikologis (psychological safety), stimulasi intelektual melalui teknologi dan variasi metode, serta penguatan disiplin diri terbukti secara signifikan meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran dan keterlibatan siswa. Dengan demikian, pengelolaan setting kelas yang terencana dan adaptif menjadi keharusan bagi lembaga pendidikan, termasuk pendidikan Islam, untuk menjawab tantangan pedagogis kontemporer.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana implementasi model pembelajaran Project Based Learning berbasis media digital. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian lapangan (field research). Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi tahap pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi model pembelajaran Project Based Learning berbasis media digital mampu menciptakan proses pembelajaran yang interaktif, kolaboratif, dan berpusat pada siswa. Keaktifan siswa terlihat melalui keterlibatan dalam diskusi, penyelesaian proyek, presentasi, serta tanya jawab. Media digital yang digunakan selama pembelajaran berbasis proyek yaitu media presentasi, video YouTube, aplikasi Canva, Google Search, serta Instagram. Model pembelajaran ini mampu meningkatkan keaktifan siswa, kemampuan berkolaborasi, berpikir kritis memecahkan masalah, serta kreativitas siswa dalam menghasilkan karya. Dengan demikiann, model ini relevan digunakan dalam konteks pendidikan di era digital.
