Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh ketersediaan laptop pribadi terhadap prestasi mahasiswa di Program Studi Pendidikan Teknologi Informasi FKIP Universitas Sulawesi Barat. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik survei kepada 70 mahasiswa pendidikan Teknologi informasi. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner skala Likert dengan indikator kepemilikan perangkat, intensitas penggunaan, kemudahan akses praktikum, dan efektivitas penggunaan laptop. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa yang memiliki laptop pribadi cenderung memiliki prestasi lebih tinggi. Uji korelasi menunjukkan hubungan positif yang kuat (r = 0,615; p < 0,05) antara ketersediaan laptop dan prestasi belajar. Uji regresi menghasilkan nilai R² = 0,378, menunjukkan bahwa ketersediaan laptop berkontribusi sebesar 37,8% terhadap prestasi belajar. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya laptop pribadi sebagai media pendukung utama dalam pembelajaran Teknologi Informasi.

Abstract

Urgensi penelitian ini terletak pada pentingnya memberikan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam kepada manajemen perusahaan mengenai faktor-faktor utama yang memengaruhi turnover intention. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh kompensasi dan lingkungan kerja terhadap turnover intention pada PT. Kemilau Bintang Timur (KBT). Turnover intention atau keinginan karyawan untuk keluar dari perusahaan menjadi salah satu tantangan yang dihadapi perusahaan dalam mempertahankan tenaga kerja. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah kompensasi dan lingkungan kerja, sedangkan variabel terikatnya adalah turnover intention. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 30 responden menggunakan teknik total sampling. Hasil analisis regresi linear berganda menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan kompensasi dan lingkungan kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap turnover intention. Secara parsial, lingkungan kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap turnover intention, sedangkan kompensasi tidak menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan. Nilai koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,381 menunjukkan bahwa 38,1% turnover intention dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel kompensasi dan lingkungan kerja, sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain di luar penelitian ini. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang kondusif lebih efektif dalam menurunkan niat karyawan untuk keluar dibandingkan hanya meningkatkan kompensasi

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to improve the digital competence of teachers at SD Negeri 7 Salabose in designing visual learning media using the Canva platform. The program addresses teachers’ limited digital literacy and ability to create technology-based instructional materials. Methodology: The activity was carried out through a one-day intensive workshop involving 33 teachers. It included material presentation, demonstrations of Canva for Education features, hands-on design practice, and evaluation through online questionnaires measuring usefulness, ease of use, and satisfaction. Results: Teachers showed improved understanding of Canva’s features and successfully created posters and interactive slides. Evaluation results indicated high satisfaction, with a Reaction score of 94.2% and a Behavior score of 92.7%, demonstrating strong motivation to apply Canva in classroom learning. Conclusions: The workshop effectively enhanced teachers’ digital competence and readiness to integrate visual media into teaching. Short, structured digital training proved beneficial in fostering innovative and technology-integrated learning practices in elementary education. Limitations: The workshop duration was limited to one day, which allowed only basic-level mastery of Canva features. Contributions: This study contributes to strengthening teachers’ digital competence, promoting innovative instructional practices, and supporting the integration of visual learning media in elementary education.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the use of the Wokwi Simulator Platform as a STEM-based learning innovation in Internet of Things (IoT) courses in higher education. This study uses a qualitative approach with a single instrumental case study design involving 24 undergraduate students from one IoT practicum class at the Information Technology Education Study Program, University of West Sulawesi, in the period September–October 2025. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, participatory observations, and learning documentation, and then analysed using the interactive analysis model Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña. The results revealed three main interrelated themes. First, the efficiency and flexibility of using Wokwi allows students to conduct repeated experiments without hardware limitations, thus encouraging the formation of active experimentation. Second, the virtual debugging process directs students to focus more on programming logic and scientific reasoning, thus strengthening the reflective observation stage. Third, holistic STEM integration is reflected through the use of real-time data visualisation features that help students understand the interconnectedness of cross-disciplinary concepts in the abstract conceptualisation stage. In the context of previous research on virtual labs and STEM-based IoT learning, these findings expand existing studies by presenting qualitative empirical evidence on how simulated environments support experiential learning processes rather than simply improving learning outcomes. This study concludes that the Wokwi Simulator Platform functions as an effective pedagogical medium in supporting STEM-oriented IoT learning, especially in the context of higher education with limited laboratory resources. These findings provide implications for designing IoT curricula that emphasise data-driven analysis and interdisciplinary integration, and further research is needed to examine the transfer of learning from virtual simulations to physical hardware implementations.
