Abstract

This research aims to describe the structure, categories and social functions contained in the expression for the ban on husband while his wife was pregnant at Alahan Subdistrick Panjang Lembah Gumanti Regency Solok . This research descriptive qualitative research method.The background of this study was , while the entry of this study is the expression in Kenagarian Alahan Panjang Subdistrick Lembah Gumanti Regency Solok ban on the husband in terms of structure, categories and social functions. To collect the data acquisition from Kenagarian Alahan Panjang Subdistrick Lembah Gumanti Regency Solok the informants using recording techniques. The technique used to analyze the data as follows. (1), transcribes the data from spoken language into written language, (2), translates the data into Indonesian. (3), analyzing the structure of the expression for the ban on husband while his wife was pregnant. (4), analyzed the expression category prohibition for a husband when his wife was pregnant. (5), to analyze the social function expressions prohibition for a husband when his wife was pregnant. (6), formulating research results in the form of reports.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe violence againts children in the novel Pintu Terlarang by Sekar Ayu Asmara. In this novel, Pintu Terlarang, shows physical and psycological violence. This research data is a novel Pintu Terlarang by Sekar Ayu Asmara. The source of data in this study is the novel Pintu Terlarang by Sekar Ayu Asmara. This novel was published by Pt. Gramedia Pustaka Utama with the number of pages viii and 264 pages lenght of 20 cm and widht 19 cm in jakarta, Juli 2009. The techniques of data collection is done by reading the novel Pintu Terlarang and mark the special section on violence against the children. Theb result of this study shows that the child obuse both physically and psychologically. Physical violence is a pictures of violence hitting, kicking, that caused injury, paint or disability on the victim’s body thust cause death, while psycological violence is the behaviour shown to brutallize, insult and say hard work.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the structure, categories and social functions contained in the expression of the people’s confidence in the potential of Anak Daroin Kenagarian Koto Baru sub districk Bayang Regency Pesisir Selatan. This research is descriptive qualitative research method. Background This study was Kenagarian Koto Baru sub districk Bayang Regency Pesisir Selatan, while the study entry Phrase for aspiring young people’s confidence in Kenagarian Koto Baru Subdistrick Bayang Regency Pesisir Selatan in terms of structure, categories, and social function. Data acquisition from informants using recording techniques. The technique used to analyze the data as follows. (1) transcripts recordings into written language, (2) translating data into Indonesian, (3) analyzed the expression of the people’s trust structure for the prospective Anak Daro, (4) analyzing the expression of the people’s trust categories for candidates Anak Daro, (5) analyzing the expression of the people’s social functions for prospective Anak Daro, (6) Formulating research result in the from of reports.

Abstract

Research aims to describe the main character in the novel Perahu Kertas novel written by Dewi Lestari. This research focused on emotional froms the main character in the novel Perahu Kertas. This research is descriptive qualitative research methods, technical contenyt analysis. The data of this research is the kinds of emotions the main character’s Perahu Kertas novel by Dewi Lestari which includes trace elements based characterzations. The data source of this research is Perahu Kertas novel written by Dewi Lestari published by Bentang Pustaka in 2012. Based on the findings and discussion can be summed up in the Perahu Kertas novel written Dewi Lestari, there are seven main characters of emotions consisting of positive emotions: the sense of comfort, contentment, joy, happines, and a sense of comfort which is compossed of the negative emotions anger and sadness.

Abstract

This research purposes to discribe the theme from short story Anak Harian Compas January-Februari edision and theme of Anak harian Kompas is related with propensity of children behavior. This research is qualitatived by descriptive method. The method is used to describe data about the theme and relation between the theme and children nowadays in Short Story Anak Harian Kompas, January–March 2013 Edision. Data is collected by using some steps. These are : (1) Reading the children short story from Harian Kompas. (2) Investigating as the format inventarisasi data. Base on analysis, it is found eight themes which is decsribed those themes with children nowadays. These are : (1) generosity(2) About a trust. (3) Miscommunication. (4) Responsibility and hard working. (5) Riko’s creativity. (6) The struggle of scavengers girl. (7) obtruding. (8) Shying with condition.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to: (a) to describe of herself character in the Novel Cinta Suci Zahrana by Habiburraman El Shirazy and Novel Mataraisa by Abidah El Khalieqy, (b) to describe of same and different of herself character Novel Cinta Suci Zahrana by Habiburraman El Shirazy and Novel Mataraisa by Abidah El Khalieqy. The source  of this study is herself unsure in the Novel Cinta Suci Zahrana by Habiburrahman El Shirazyand Novel Mataraisa by Abidah El Khalieqy. Technic of analyze is done with the descriptive theory. The find of study is the same character of herself in the Novel Cinta Suci Zahrana by Habiburrahman El Shirazy with Novel Mataraisa by Abidah El Khalieqy is : (a) hard worker, (b) like of challenge, (c) like by some people, (d) it has not like of itself. The different of herself character in the Novel Cinta Suci Zahrana by Habiburraman El Shirazy and Novel Mataraisa by Abidah El Khalieqy is: (a) the differnt of education, (b) the different of life, (c) the different to find of soulmate, (d)  the different of faced problem, (e) the different of others faced.

Abstract

This research aims to describe (1) the social class in the Bukan Pasar Malam Pramoedya Ananta Toer novel, (2) conflict of social class in the Bukan Pasar Malam Pramoedya Ananta Toer novel, (3) the impact conflict of social class in the novel of Bukan Pasar Malam Pramoedya Ananta Toer. The theory used to achieve the goal: the sociology of literature, in particular the theory of social classes and conflict of social class. This research is descriptive qualitative research method with content analysis techniques. The data of this study are quoted or written words of the object to be observed that leads to social class. Sources of data in this study is Bukan Pasar Malam Pramoedya Ananta Toer novel issued by the Balai Pustaka in 1959. Social class in the novel of Night Market Pramoedya Ananta Toer are: 1) an overview of social class, upper class earn a decent living with luxurious amenities, while the lower class they are very difficult to get some foods, 2) social class conflict, causing rebellion within the lower social class as it gets unfair treatment by the upper classes, 3) the impact of conflict of social class produce impact to deficity and suffering to the lower classes, such as the family, education and healthy.

Abstract

This study  aimed to determine the structure and social function of folklore legend naming Batunabontar Batang Natal district Mandailing Natal district. The method used in this research was descriptive method. The data source of this research was the people who inhabit Batunabontar village, Batang Natal District, Mandailing Natal District. The instrument used in this study was the researcher himself and the informant based on the understanding of the structure and social function of the naming legend of a place. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation by observation and to strengthen the data obtained, direct interviews were carried out to the authorities in research on the Social Structure and Function of the Legend of the Naming of Batunabontar Village, Batang Natal District, Mandailing Natal District. The results of this study indicate that the Social Structure and Function of Naming Legend of Batunabontar Village, Batang Natal District, Mandailing Natal District has a unique history and structure and function in the village. The uniqueness of this Batunabontar makes the writer want to know the importance of the structure and function of the Batunabontar in Batang Natal District, Mandailing Natal Regency.

Abstract

The perposes of this researeh are to describe and the explain the appreciation of society in kanagarian Simalidu Kecamatan Koto Salak Kabupaten Dharmasraya. West Sumatra to the Jaran Kepang. The research is using the descriptive methade and the of this research is qualitative the issues that describe is type the appreciation and the acceptance of the society to Jaran Kepang in Kanagarian Simalidu Kecamatan Koto Salak Kabupaten Dharmasraya. That obtainable through the questionnaire and interview that using by the instrument in this research. The accumulation technique of data that using here are: (1) the observation to searching the informan that requires in the research, (2) give the questionnaire that contain same questions that have to be answered by the society in Kanagarian Simalidu Kecamatan Koto Salak Kabupaten Dharmasraya, (3) The structural interview, by using some questions to the informans based an the research, (4) record, by recorded oral data that express by the informans, (5) note, by kating all the informan that has bean obtained from the observation the interview, and the recard.

Abstract

The aims of this article to present the story about Nuh As in Latin script and Indonesian language, so it can be read and understood by the community and also havemessage and moral value by the community. The data of research is the  story of Nuh As,the story have another version such as from theprophets Azhari Al-Khalidi Rahmatullah written using scriptArabic-Malay and Malay language. The design of the research was descriptive research. Rather script usedrather script method andtranslation used method of translation. The results of this research is availability ofNuh text story in Latin script and Indonesian language. Rather script andtranslation done while maintaining the purity of the old language in the script basedon EYD. The storyof Nuh text tell abaout starting life Nuh and the struggle to upholdAllah Swt. religion.Based on the story of Nuh characreristic of avariety of vocabulary converting the old language​​ from this text. Through this text can also be know the language, literature and culture in the past.
