Abstract

This study aims to explore the strategies applied by Generation Z employees in achieving holistic well being within a hybrid work environment. Changes in work patterns that combine remote working and on site working provide flexibility, but also create new challenges related to work boundaries, psychological pressure, and work life balance. Generation Z, as a productive age group that grows up in the digital era, has adaptive characteristics but is vulnerable to work stress if it is not supported by appropriate self management strategies. This study uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method to understand the subjective experiences of Generation Z employees in dealing with the dynamics of hybrid work. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, and then analyzed thematically. The results of this study are expected to provide an understanding of the forms of personal strategies used by Generation Z employees to maintain balance in physical, mental, social, spiritual, and financial aspects, and to contribute to the development of human resource management studies that focus on employee well-being in the modern work era.

Abstract

The local skincare industry in Indonesia has experienced rapid growth alongside increasing public awareness of skin health and personal appearance. Although the level of local skincare product usage is relatively high, this phenomenon is not always accompanied by the formation of strong consumer loyalty toward specific brands. This study aims to analyze consumer purchase intention and loyalty toward local skincare products, as well as to identify the factors influencing the development of such loyalty. This research adopts a qualitative approach using in-depth interviews with eight informants who are users of local skincare products in Denpasar City. The data were analyzed through processes of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing in order to obtain a comprehensive understanding of consumer behavior. The findings indicate that consumer beliefs regarding product safety, suitability for skin type, perceived benefits, affordable pricing, and ease of access are the primary factors driving purchase intention toward local skincare products. Beliefs formed through positive usage experiences play a crucial role in encouraging repeat purchases and fostering consumer loyalty. These findings emphasize that loyalty toward local skincare brands is not solely determined by product quality, but is also shaped by perceptions of safety, relevance to local needs, and consistent usage experiences. This study is expected to contribute to the development of consumer behavior research and to serve as a strategic reference for stakeholders in the local skincare industry.

Abstract

Bali’s rapid growth in private villa tourism has intensified competition among accommodation providers, where similar villa concepts often result in differing occupancy levels. This gap indicates that digital marketing strategies may influence guests’ stay decisions in varying ways. This study investigates the effects of influencer marketing, social media marketing, and service quality on stay decisions, and examines the moderating role of narrative marketing in strengthening these relationships. A quantitative explanatory design was applied using purposive sampling, involving 94 respondents who had stayed at Magic Hills Villa in Karangasem, Bali. Data were obtained through an online questionnaire using a ten-point Likert scale and analyzed with Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The analysis included assessments of validity, reliability, and hypothesis testing through bootstrapping. The results show that influencer marketing, social media marketing, and service quality each exert a positive and significant influence on stay decisions. Narrative marketing significantly reinforces the effect of influencer marketing but does not moderate the influence of social media marketing or service quality. These findings highlight that authentic storytelling enhances the persuasive impact of influencers, while guest experiences and social media interactions remain primarily shaped by service encounters and platform dynamics.

Abstract

This study investigates the relationship between green investment and corporate financial performance, analyzing the impact of sustainable investment practices on key financial indicators including Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), and Tobin's Q. As environmental concerns grow and regulatory frameworks tighten globally, firms are increasingly allocating resources toward environmentally sustainable activities. Drawing upon a systematic review of 20 peer-reviewed studies published between 2018 and 2025, this research synthesizes evidence on whether green investments translate into measurable financial gains or represent a cost burden for firms. The analysis encompasses diverse industries and geographic contexts, including Indonesia, Europe, Ireland, and global markets. Findings reveal that green investment generally yields a positive effect on financial performance, particularly in the long run, though the magnitude varies by industry, firm size, and institutional environment. Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) disclosure quality and corporate social responsibility (CSR) practices are identified as significant mediating factors. Green financing instruments such as green bonds also contribute to enhanced corporate performance. This study contributes to the growing body of sustainable finance literature by providing a comprehensive overview of mechanisms linking green investment to financial outcomes and offers.
