Abstract

Negara Indonesia kaya akan keanekaragaman hayati yang dapat diolah menjadi berbagai macam obat yang dapat dimanfaatkan dalam semua aspek kehidupan manusia.  Salah satu tanaman yang digunakan adalah daun singkong karet yang mengandung flavonoid, saponin, dan tanin yang diketahui mempunyai aktivitas sebagai antibakteri dan juga memiliki efek dalam mengobati luka pada tikus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat efektivitas ekstrak daun singkong karet (Manihot glaziovii) terhadap proses penyembuhan luka sayatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan tikus putih jantan sebanyak 15 ekor dengan membuat luka sayat di punggung tikus. Penelitian ini menggunakan bentuk ekspreimen laboratorium dengan 5 perlakuan yang terdiri dari negative control, positive control dan 3 konsentrasi bertingkat. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak daun singkong karet konsentrasi 15 persen memberikan efek penyembuhan yang lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan ekstrak konsentrasi 5 persen dan ekstrak konsentrasi 10 persen.

Abstract

Pengelolaan obat merupakan hal yang sangat penting dilakukan di apotek. Pengelolaan obat di apotek meliputi: perencanaan, pengadaan, penerimaan, penyimpanan, pemusnahan, pengendalian, serta pencatatan dan pelaporan. Oleh karena kebutuhan akan penggunaan obat psikotropika dan narkotika di  apotek UNO I Malalayang dirasakan perlu oleh pihak apotek dalam melayani kebutuhan pasien, maka pengelolaan obat psikotropika dan narkotika perlu dikelola secara baik dan sesuai dengan regulasi yang ada. Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk menganalisis Pengelolaan Obat Narkotika dan Psikotropika di Apotek UNO I Malalayang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional yang bersifat deskriptif. Analisis data dalam penelitian kualitatif dilakukan pada saat pengumpulan data berlangsung, dan setelah selesai pengumpulan dalam periode tertentu. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan pengelolaan obat di Apotek UNO I Malalayang belum berjalan sesuai dengan standar pelayanan kefarmasian di apotek dalam Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan Nomor 73 Tahun 2016 yang telah ditetapkan. Dalam proses penyimpanan obat Narkotika dan Psikotropika masih disimpan dalam lemari khusus yang hanya memiliki 1 buah kunci yang seharusnya dilengkapi dengan 2 buah kunci yang berbeda.

Abstract

Vaccine management is one of the management procedures for drug management in healthcare and is critical throughout the healthcare system. This study aims to evaluate the suitability of storing the Covid-19 vaccine in the Pharmacy Installation of the Regional Health Office of Sulawesi Province. This research method is observation with descriptive method. Data collection is done retrospectively with an observation approach or data collection is done all at once. The data taken by this study was carried out using a check list. The research was conducted at the Pharmacy Installation of the Regional Health Office of North Sulawesi Province. The results of the study showed officers and training 1 indicator was appropriate and 2 indicators were not appropriate with a percentage of 33.33%, storage buildings 5 indicators were appropriate and 3 indicators were not compatible with a percentage of 55.55%, storage facilities 8 indicators were appropriate and 11 indicators not according to the percentage of 72.72%, operational storage of 7 indicators according to and 13 indicators not in accordance with the percentage of 53.84%, storage maintenance of 1 indicator according to and 13 indicators not in accordance with the percentage of 7.69%, Qualification, Calibration and Validation of 0 indicators is appropriate and 3 indicators are not in accordance with a percentage of 100%. The conclusion is that overall the percentage is not up to standard with a percentage of 72.72%.

Abstract

Pyrrosia piloselloides, juga dikenal sebagai tanaman skala naga, telah digunakan dalam pengobatan tradisional untuk daunnya, yang mungkin memiliki efek antioksidan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi potensi antioksidan dari ekstrak etanol  daun Pyrrosia piloselloides yang sering dikenal dengan sisik naga. Aktivitas antioksidan ekstrak etanol dari P. Tanaman piloselloides diukur menggunakan uji 2,2-Diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) pada dosis 2,5ppm, 5ppm, 7,5ppm, 10ppm, dan 12,5ppm. Analisis fitokimia digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi senyawa bioaktif yang ada di P. jaringan daun piloselloides. Metabolit sekunder seperti alkaloid, flavonoid, tanin, triterpenoid, saponin, dan fenolik diukur dalam P. daun piloselloides. Nilai IC50 untuk aktivitas antioksidan ekstrak etanol mentah P. Piloselloides Dragon Scale Leaves adalah 3,30 ppm.

Abstract

Antioksidan merupakan zat yang menghambat atau mencegah kerusakan sel akibat oksidasi dari radikal bebas. Salah satu tanaman yang berkhasiat sebagai alternatif pengobatan tradisional dan berpotensi sebagai antioksidan adalah benalu pala. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah benalu pala memiliki aktivitas antioksidan dengan melakukan uji skrining fitokimia dan Spektrofotometer UV-Vis. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan benalu pada tanaman pala dan diekstraksi dengan etanol 95% dengan metode maserasi kemudian dipekatkan dengan rotary evaporator pada suhu 40°C untuk mencegah dekomposisi senyawa yang terdapat didalamnya. Setelah itu, dilakukan uji skrining fitokimia yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui kandungan senyawa metabolit yang ada pada sampel. Pengujian aktivitas antioksidan dilakukan secara kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode DPPH pada panjang gelombang 517 nm dan pembanding vitamin C menggunakan Spektrofotometer UV-Vis, sedangkan uji skrining fitokimia secara kuantitatif dengan uji tabung reaksi untuk mengetahui senyawa-senyawa metabot yang ada seperti alkaloid, flavonoid, saponin, taniin, triterpenoid, dan steroid. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan pada uji skrining fitokimia, menunjukkan bahwa sampel memiliki senyawa metabolit seperti alkaloid, flavonoid, saponin, tanin, dan triterpenoid. Sedangkan untuk hasil uji antioksidan nilai IC50 yang diperoleh dari hasil persamaan regresi linier ialah 4,644 untuk ekstrak kasar dan nilai IC50 vitamin C sebagai pembanding 0,169. Berdasarkan hasil uji analisis yang dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa daya antioksidan yang didapatkan tergolong sangat kuat dan berpotensi menangkal radikal bebas DPPH.

Abstract

Infectious diseases can be caused by microbiological agents, namely bacteria. The ability of bacteria to invade and cause infection is referred to as a pathogenicity. The results of phytochemical screening produced secondary metabolite compounds alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, saponins, phenolics that act as antibacterial. This study aims to determine the antibacterial activity of Sonneratia alba mangrove root infusa against Propionibacterium acnes and Salmonella typhi bacteria. This type of research is a laboratory experimental research, using the well method by doing three repetitions on 5 concentration series, 1 positive control and 1 negative control for two types of bacteria namely Propionibacterium acnes and Salmonella typhi. The results obtained from the Kruskal Wallis test on Propionibacterium acnes bacteria are Sig 0.028 < 0.05, and the results of the ANOVA test on Salmonella typhi bacteria from Sig = 0.000 < 0.05. And it is known in Propionibacterium acnes bacteria that 25% concentration inhibits 5.83 mm, 50% concentration inhibits 6.3 mm, 100% concentration inhibits 9.43 mm. And in Salmonella typhi bacteria that concentration is known that 25% concentration inhibits 9.73 mm, 50% concentration inhibits 9.43 mm, 100% concentration inhibits 11.57 mm. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that Sonneratia alba root infusa has antibacterial activity on Propionibacterium acnes and Salmonella typhii bacteria.

Abstract

The most common health problem in Indonesia is bacterial infection. Dysphania ambrosioides L., also known as epazote leaves, is an herbal plant that has antimicrobial potential. This research was conducted to see at what concentration there is antibacterial activity of epazote leaf infusion Dysphania ambrosioides L. against Escherichia coli bacteria. This laboratory experimental study used a complete randomized design (RAL) research. Antibacterial activity testing of epazote leaves was carried out using the disc paper diffusion method with concentrations of 50%, 75%, and 100%. Epazote leaves are boiled in an infusion pan for 15 minutes, until the temperature reaches 90 degrees Celsius. Ampicillin positive control 10 ?g/disc. Based on the test results of secondary metabolites of positive epazote leaf infusion there are alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, saponins, triterpenoids, and phenolics. The results of the study showed that infusion of epazote leaves inhibited Escherichia coli bacteria by diameter inhibition. Average at a concentration of 50% = 14.04 mm, 75% = 16.92 mm, 100% = 17.94 mm, which means that there is antibacterial activity of epazote leaf infusion against Escherichia coli bacteria.

Abstract

Chromolaena odorata L. has bioactive compounds that can be used as raw medicine materials. Bioactive compounds from Chromolaena odorata L. are reported to have pharmacological and antibacterial properties. This study aims to  the antibacterial activity. The antibacterial activity testing used the agar diffusion method using paper discs with 25, 50, 75, 100, and 125 µg/disc extract concentrations. Based on the results obtained, the ethanol extract of Chromolaena odorata L. has antibacterial activity of S. aureus with inhibition zone diameters of 12.14, 11.99, 12.63, 12.62, and 13.85 mm.

Abstract

Nature provides various compounds that can provide anti-inflammatory activity, one of which is the compound contained in mangrove roots (Sonneratia alba). In these plants, especially in the roots, there are secondary metabolite compounds such as alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, triterpenoids and from various reported research results, flavonoids have anti-inflammatory properties. The medicinal preparation that the researchers want to make is a gel preparation that is used for topical treatment therapy. The research was carried out with 15 rats into 5 test groups. Positive control group: given Diclofenac Sodium gel (Voltadex) 20 g (1%), negative control group: given gel without ethanol extract, 2.5% concentration group: given 2.5% ethanol extract gel, 5% concentration group: given 5% ethanol extract gel, 10% concentration group: 10% ethanol extract gel was given. The data was analyzed descriptively and presented in the form of tables and graphs. The research results showed that the Sonneratia alba ethanol extract gel preparation had anti-inflammatory activity. The research results show that the ethanol extract of Sonneratia alba mangrove roots can be used as a gel preparation and in in vivo testing the gel preparation of Sonneratia alba mangrove root ethanol extract has anti-inflammatory activity. The control group of Sonneratia alba mangrove root ethanol extract gel preparations of concentrations of 2.5%, 5% and 10% had a swelling inhibition percentage, which means that Sonneratia alba mangrove root ethanol extract gel preparations of 2.5%, 5% and 10% concentration had anti-inflammatory activity.

Abstract

Ficus minahassae fruit is known to contain bioactive compounds that have the potential to act as antibacterial agents. This study aims to determine the antibacterial activity of Propionibacterium acnes from F. minahassae fruit extract. F. minahassae fruit is extracted using ethanol. Antibacterial activity test using the disc diffusion method. Based on the results of the study, it was obtained that F. minahassae fruit extract was able to inhibit P. acnes bacteria at concentrations of 200, 300, 400, 500, and 600 mg/disc with inhibition zone diameters of 11.68, 13.33, 14.35, 15.47, and 17.82 mm, respectively. F. minahassae fruit extract can be developed as a raw material for drugs, especially anti-bacterial P. acnes, which causes acne.
