Abstract

Parenting plays a crucial role in shaping children’s moral development, yet Indonesian parents today face growing challenges, particularly with the increasing dependency of children on gadgets. Many parents rely on smartphones to manage their children’s behavior, which often results in reduced supervision and weakened moral guidance. Research by Layyinatus Syifa et al. indicates that elementary school children who use gadgets for more than two hours a day frequently display irritability, defiance, imitation of inappropriate digital behaviors, and declining discipline. These issues underscore the need for a value-based parenting framework that can effectively address contemporary challenges. In this context, prophetic parenting, rooted in the exemplary nurturing principles of the Prophet Muhammad, offers a model that emphasizes compassion, moral instruction, and character formation. This study examines the relevance of prophetic parenting to the moral development of Indonesian children through a literature review approach. This article conducts an in-depth analysis of the theory of prophetic parenting in shaping a child's morals, drawing from a variety of literature, including books and journals. The research uses a literature study approach with a descriptive-qualitative method. Data was collected from various sources, including published journals, relevant publications, and textual materials. The sources used included books, articles, journals, conference proceedings, and other literature relevant to the research topic. The literature review process in this article follows four steps: (1) preparing relevant literature; (2) compiling a suitable bibliography; (3) managing time and concentrating to minimize bias; and (4) reading carefully, taking notes, and summarizing findings. The researcher then analyzed various findings, including both research results and theories, to narrow down the data and conduct an in-depth analysis consistent with the research objectives. The findings of this study have meaningful implications for both future research and practical parenting. For researchers, the results serve as a valuable reference for further studies on parenting approaches and moral development. For parents, this study offers essential insights by highlighting that prophetic parenting constitutes a fundamental foundation for nurturing and strengthening children's moral development.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to analyze the quality of educational services by parents to choose MI and SD in Temanggung Regency. The facts of the problem are, schools do not have a superior program, schools have not conducted a SWOT test for the dimensions of MI and SD service delivery, cooperation with user partners to oversee the quality of MI and SD is not optimal, schools have not utilized social media or technology as a means of promotional media. This study uses a mix method approach with qualitative and quantitative methods with the type of research correlation of two or more variables between superior educational services and parental decisions, the subjects of this study involved 45 (40 parents and 5 teachers) as samples. The study uses phenomenological facts. The results of the study explain a strong and unidirectional significant relationship between the variables of superior educational services (X1), satisfaction with educational services (X2), and parental decisions (Y) to choose SDN 6 Parakan and MIN 2 Ringianom in Temanggung Regency with the results of the multicollinearity test with a tolerance value of 0.99 greater than 0.10 and VIF less than 10.00, followed by the results of the Spearman rank correlation test with a positive correlation result of 0.673 and a significance value of 0.000 <less than 0.05 or known to be 0.01 which means there is a significant relationship between superior educational services and satisfaction with parental choices in MI and SD Temanggung Regency.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the effectiveness of the literacy-numeration model in increasing educational learning independence for class teachers and students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, Magelang Regency, Indonesia. Qualitative and quantitative approaches were used as research methods. Data were collected by using interviews, observation, and documentation techniques. The collected data were then analysed with hypothesis test, validity, reliability, normality, paired t-test, and simple independent-test. This research was conducted on a subject population of 43 Madrasah Ibtidaiyah class teachers. The results showed the effectiveness of the development of independent learning education with literacy and numeracy models for class teachers and students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in Magelang Regency, Indonesia. The results of the output test "paired Samples Test" yielded that Sig.(2-tailed) was 0.000 <0.05, thus, Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. This result suggest that there is a significant effect of the literacy-numeration model on the development of independent learning education for students and teachers of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in Magelang Regency, Indonesia.Keywords: literacy-numeration model, independent learning education, Islamic elementary school teachers.  AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model literasi-numerasi untuk meningkatkan kemandirian belajar pendidikan bagi guru kelas dan siswa di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Kabupaten Magelang, Indonesia. Pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif digunakan sebagai metode penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan uji hipotesis, validitas, reliabilitas, normalitas, uji-t berpasangan, dan uji-independent sederhana. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada subjek populasi sebanyak 43 orang guru kelas Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keefektifan pengembangan pendidikan merdeka belajar dengan model literasi dan numerasi untuk guru kelas Madrasah Ibtidaiyah di Kabupaten Magelang, Indonesia. Berdasarkan hasil output “paired Samples Test” diketahui Sig.(2-tailed) adalah 0,000 < 0,05 maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Maka dapat dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan keefektifan model literasi-numerasi terhadap pengembangan pendidikan merdeka belajar bagi guru kelas Madrasah Ibtidaiyah di Kabupaten Magelang.Kata kunci: model literasi-numerasi, pendidikan merdeka belajar, guru madrasah ibtidaiyah.
