Abstract

Abstract

ABSTRACT Technological developments are very massive in Industrial 4.0 era including in the economic and financial fields. Disruptions in the financial sector include the emergence of fintech with several schemes including sharia peer to peer lending in providing financial services to the community. MSMEs are included in the economic pillars of important economic growth in all countries in the world, and capital issues occupy the most important position in the development of MSMEs themselves. The many obstacles when wanting to apply for funding to MSME banking are often constrained by several document requirements for submission which makes MSMEs unable to access capital from banks (unbankable), so this syaraiah peer to peer lending fintech platform is an alternative capital for MSMEs. However, there were concerns that there was cybercrime in accessing the platform, which made our team tapped to carry out activities to increase peer to peer lending sharia fintech literacy for MSMEs in Sidoarjo. Our activities begin with observing partner needs, program preparation, followed by outreach, training and assistance to MSMEs, ending with program evaluation. Evaluation of this program was carried out by giving a pre-test before training program and conducting a post-test after training program. The results showed a significant increase in Sharia peer to peer lending fintech literacy of around 50%.  Keywords: Literacy; disruptiv, Fintech; Sharia peer to peer lending, MSME Capital ABSTRAK Dalam perkembangan dunia di era industrai 4.0, perkembangan teknologi sangat masif termasuk di bidang ekonomi dan keuangan. Abstract

As one of the pillars of the economy in Indonesia, it is proven that MSMEs are able to survive the Covid-19 pandemic with various innovations they have implemented, but there are still several obstacles in the development of MSMEs themselves. MSMEs, especially for the micro business scale in Indonesia, are still classified into segments that have limited access to formal financial institutions (unbankable population). The results of the PWC survey in 2019 The biggest problem of MSMEs is the problem of capital, and in an effort to obtain additional capital, around 74% of the micro segment cannot access financing from the formal financial sector. Increasing access to finance itself is one of the strategies to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Based on previous research, Islamic fintech has a role in driving SDGs targets, especially the targets to (1) eradicate poverty and (2) hunger, and (3) reduce inequality in wealth distribution. In this study we conducted indepth interviews with several MSME players and Islamic fintech companies. The lack of literacy related to fintech with the sharia peer to peer lending scheme makes MSMEs afraid to do business financing with this scheme, even though this scheme is very suitable for the unbankable population because the financing requirements are easy and fast in the disbursement process.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to overcome the problems experienced by children at the elementary school level as a result of 2 years of online learning during the pandemic. The problem are that children have difficulty in calculating fast mathematic and lack of interest in learning mathematics. The solution given are to provide guidance through basic arithmaetic operations, namely addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with the Jarimatika method and foster children’s interest in learning mathematics with creative game of snake and ladder mathematics. The subjects of this community service are grade 3, 4 and 5 elementary school student in RT.05 RW.01 Dukuh Pakis Surabaya. The method used are the preparation stage, implementation stage and evaluation stage. The children were given pre-test question to find out how fast they were able to count. After that, we game an explanation of Jarimatika and how to solve basic mathematical operation problem using Jarimatika. Furthermore, the children were invited to directly implement the Jarimatika method in the math snake and ladder game. This result of this activity are that children able to count basic operation using Jarimatika method and feel happy learning mathematics.
