Abstract

The research was conducted because of the various factors that influence the success of the pointing throw, so the evidence is needed for the factors that contribute to its success. This research aims to analyze the factors that give success in pointing throws. The method applied in this study uses descriptive correlational analysis to obtain a factor of determination on the results of the pointing throw. The subjects were 15 male athletes aged 15-17 years registered at FOPI Pati Regency with a total sampling technique. The results of data analysis show that the analysis of the physical component factors at pointing explains the formation of 3 components in the independent variable. This is shown in each component formed to have their respective contributions. Component 1 with member variables Eye-hand Coordination, Concentration, and Kinesthetic Perception has an effect of 42.937%, component 2 with member variables Arm muscle strength, wrist flexibility, and balancing have an effect of 19.403%, and component 3 with member variable Sleeve length has an influence of 13.508%. This study concludes that athletes with Eye-hand Coordination, Concentration, and Kinesthetic Perception will have a high pointing success rate on petanque.

Abstract

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran role playing materi bolavoli terhadap pembentukan karakter siswa. Desain penelitian ini adalah quasi experimental design. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 62 siswa, yang dibagi kedalam kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner untuk mengukur karakter dalam olahraga. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji t. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran role playing pada materi bolavoli terhadap pembentukan karakter siswa dibandingkan model konvensional dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran role playing pada materi bolavoli efektif dalam pembentukan karakter siswa.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop Android-based Volleyball Basic Techniques Learning Media for high school students. The research method uses the development method. Validation was carried out by material experts and media experts. The subjects of this study were students of SMKN 1 Kalinyamatan Jepara, with a population of 198 students consisting of 32 students as a small-scale trial and 166 students as a large-scale trial. Data collection used an instrument in the form of a questionnaire. Data analysis using descriptive quantitative generated in the form of percentages. The results showed that the material expert validation results get an average score of 79.125% and fall into the good category. The results of media expert validation get an average score of 84.75 and fall into the excellent category. In the small-scale product trial, the average assessment results were 87.75% and included in the very good category. While in the large-scale trial getting an average assessment of 85.92% and included in the very good category. The conclusion in this study is that the development of learning media "My Volleyball" is feasible to use as a learning media for basic volleyball techniques for high school students.

Abstract

Background: Anxiety is a common psychological factor that significantly affects athletic performance, especially in competitive settings. Student-athletes face dual pressures from academic responsibilities and athletic commitments, making them vulnerable to performance anxiety that can impair focus, concentration, and decision-making. Objectives: This study aims to analyze performance anxiety among table tennis athletes in the Student Activity Unit (UKM) of Universitas PGRI Semarang and to examine differences in performance evaluation outcomes based on sources from internal and external factors. Methods: A comparative quantitative design with a cross-sectional approach was used. Fifty athletes participated (n=25 assessed by internal factors, n=25 assessed by external factors). Anxiety/performance was measured using a self-report questionnaire consisting of 15 Likert-scale items (1-5 scale) validated by three sport psychology experts. Data were analyzed using one-way ANOVA after confirming normality (Shapiro-Wilk test) and homogeneity (Levene's test). Results: The internal group had a higher mean score (M = 3.64, SD = 0.86) compared to the external group (M = 3.07, SD = 0.86). ANOVA revealed a statistically significant difference, F(1,48) = 4.92, p = 0.031, η² = 0.093, with an estimated Cohen's d of approximately 0.66, indicating a medium effect size. These findings indicate that anxiety factors affect athletes' performance, with internal factors tending to score higher than external factors. Conclusions: This study concludes that anxiety affects the performance of table tennis athletes in the Student Activity Unit (UKM) at Universitas PGRI Semarang. Specifically, internal factors such as self-confidence and perfectionism have been proven to have a greater impact than external factors.

Abstract

Pengembangan kecerdasan emosional (emotional quotient/EQ) merupakan aspek penting dalam pendidikan dasar karena berkaitan dengan kemampuan siswa untuk berinteraksi dan bekerja sama. Namun, pembelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani (PJ) di sekolah dasar masih cenderung berfokus pada aspek keterampilan gerak dibandingkan pengembangan kemampuan sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penerapan kerangka pedagogis Adventure Educationterhadap peningkatan kecerdasan interpersonal siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen pretest-posttest control group. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas siswa kelas V SD Negeri Genuk Sari 01 Semarang yang dibagi menjadi kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner kecerdasan interpersonal dan dianalisis dengan uji statistik inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata skor kelompok eksperimen meningkat dari 103,964 menjadi 145,392, sedangkan kelompok kontrol meningkat dari 106,750 menjadi 121,214. Analisis statistik menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan pada kelompok eksperimen dibandingkan kelompok kontrol. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Adventure Education efektif dalam meningkatkan kecerdasan interpersonal siswa melalui aktivitas yang menekankan kerja sama, pengalaman langsung, dan tantangan fisik. Kata kunci: adventure education, kecerdasan interpersonal, pendidikan jasmani, pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman, sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Background: Despite the growing use of gymnastics programmes in early childhood education, most studies emphasise implementation and outcomes rather than the systematic development and rigorous validation of programme content. As a result, many programmes may be applied without sufficient empirical evidence of their appropriateness, limiting their effectiveness in promoting gross motor skill development. Objectives: This study aimed to develop and evaluate the content validity of a structured gymnastics programme designed to enhance gross motor skills in preschool children. Methods: This study employed a research and development (R&D) approach focusing on the content validation stage. The programme was evaluated by five expert validators with backgrounds in early childhood education, physical education, and children’s gymnastics. Content validity was assessed using Aiken’s V index based on expert ratings. Results: The findings indicated that all components of the developed programme achieved Aiken’s V values ranging from 0.80 to 1.00, demonstrating a high level of agreement among experts regarding the relevance, clarity, and appropriateness of the programme content. Conclusion: The results suggest that the developed gymnastics programme has strong content validity and is suitable for supporting gross motor skill development in preschool children. This study contributes by providing a systematically developed and empirically validated programme for early childhood physical education.

Abstract

Background: Gymnastics learning is considered an exercise programme that is aimed at improving the balance movement skills of kindergarten students. There is a limited gymnastic program to develop the kindergarten students’ balance and movement skills that meet the students’ needs and wants. Research Objectives: The purpose of this study is to determine the feasibility of gymnastics learning activities on the ability to move balance for kindergarten students. Methods: This research is an R&D, a movement and song gymnastics program for the kindergarten students’ balance. The participants involve 30 students aged 5-6 years. The validators were five experts focusing on the topic addressed. The first stage examines qualitatively articles, e-books, textbooks, and programme design. The second stage applies the Aiken’s V technique to assess the training program. The third stage analyses the assessment results. The fourth stage tests the training programme. Findings and Results: Based on the results of Aiken V’s analysis related to the movement and song gymnastics program developed, the overall score shows a range of 0.8 to 1.00. The programme is feasible and valid as a balance movement learning in kindergarten. Conclusion: The movement and song practice programs that have been prepared have good and valid content validity. The novelty of this study is to develop a gymnastics program integrated with the educational curriculum for kindergarten children. This includes designing activities taking into account the differences in each child's level of balance, strength, and motor skills. The programme will be applied to students to know the effectiveness of the movement and song training program for gymnastics on the balance ability of kindergarten students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar lari jarak pendek peserta didik kelas XI-3 SMA Negeri 11 Semarang tahun ajaran 2024/2025 melalui pendekatan bermain. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, di mana setiap siklus terdiri atas tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah 35 peserta didik yang dipilih berdasarkan evaluasi awal hasil belajar mereka pada materi lari jarak pendek. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan bermain secara signifikan meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik, baik dari aspek kognitif, afektif, maupun psikomotorik. Pada siklus pertama, rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik mencapai 70 dengan tingkat ketuntasan 60%. Setelah dilakukan tindakan pada siklus kedua, rata-rata hasil belajar meningkat menjadi 85 dengan tingkat ketuntasan 88,6%. Selain itu, pendekatan bermain juga meningkatkan partisipasi aktif dan motivasi peserta didik selama pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pendekatan bermain merupakan metode yang efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar lari jarak pendek dan dapat diterapkan pada berbagai materi pembelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani lainnya.
