Abstract

Food snacks are potentially contaminated with lead and heavy metals due to wind on the streets and dust carrying bacteria that pollute food and other hazards derived from the food material itself if not hygienic. Increasing attitudes and healthy practices in children can be done with nutrition counseling methods. Nutrition counseling method in this study was given through edutaiment media, one of which is snakes and ladders. Snakes and ladders is one of the games that are liked by elementary school children. This study aims to determine students' knowledge, attitudes and practices regarding healthy snacks at SDN Karawang Wetan 1. This research is a quantitative study with a Pre-Experimental design with One Group Pre-test Post Test Design. The sample consisted of 40 fifth grade students obtained by purposive sampling technique. Data collection using a questionnaire and data analysis using nonparametric 2 sample test methods related to McNemar test. The results showed that the influence of the snake ladder game media could increase students' attitudes and practices about healthy snack selection, namely p value (0,000) <? Abstract

Makanan jajanan berpotensi terkontaminasi timbal dan logam berat akibat angin di jalanan dan debu membawa bakteri yang mencemari makanan dan bahaya lain berasal dari bahan makanan itu sendiri bila tidak higienis. Peningkatan pengetahuan, jajanan sehat pada anak dapat dilakukan metode penyuluhan gizi. Metode penyuluhan gizi pada penelitian ini diberikan melalui media edutaiment salah satunya adalah ular tangga. Ular tangga merupakan salah satu permainan yang disukai oleh anak-anak sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengetahuan siswa mengenai jajanan sehat di SDN Karawang Wetan 1. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan Pra-Eksperimental dengan desain One Group Pre-test Post test design. Sampel berjumlah 40 siswa-siswa kelas V yang diperoleh dengan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan analisis data menggunkan metode nonparametrik uji 2 sampel berhubungan uji McNemar. Hasil penelitian didapatkan terdapat pengaruh media permain ular tangga dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa tentang pemilihan jajanan sehat yaitu p value (0,000) < α (0,05).

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui minat masyarakat daerah Kabupaten Bekasi – Karawang mengenai olahan makanan dengan bahan dasar dari umbi - umbian. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengedukasi masyarakat atau pembaca tentang karakteristik mutu umbi – umbian, jenis – jenis umbi, cara penyimpan beserta dengan cara pengolahan dengan bahan baku umbi - umbian . Umbi – umbian yang umum digunakan adalah ubi jalar, singkong, kentang, dan juga talas. Umbi – umbian dapat dikatakan sebagai bahan pangan pengganti nasi, karena memiliki kandungan karbohidrat dan pati yang tinggi, sehingga mampu memberikan energy yang cukup banyak bagi tubuh. Umbi biasa di konsumsi dengan hanya direbus ataupun terdapat beberapa umbi yang bisa langsung dimakan dikarenakan kadar racun yang relative rendah.

Abstract

Banana Roll is an entrepreneurial product made as a healthy snack today. Banana Roll (pisgul) is a product made from processed bananas wrapped with spring roll skin and topped with toppings. This product is made from bananas that are ripe enough to have a sweet taste. The purpose of making Banana Roll is as a snack or healthy snack that has high nutritional value, and to use bananas as a food ingredient that is quite popular with people of all ages, from children to the elderly. Abstract

Previous studies have shown that illness, especially infectious diseases, is a risk factor for malnutrition in children aged 6-59 months. Environmental sanitation is an important factor that influences the occurrence of infection. The purpose of this study was to assess the relationship between the use of clean water sources and the use of household latrines with a history of diseases in children aged 6-59 months. This study used a cross-sectional design with 108 research subjects. Research subjects were selected using accidental sampling. Collecting data using interview and observation techniques. The results showed that there was no significant relationship between the type of source of drinking water, type of source of washing water, type of latrines, and ownership of latrines with a history of diseases in the research subjects. The history of diseases in the research subjects was significantly related to the distance between the water source and the waste disposal site (p-value <0.05). Based on these results, further efforts are needed to improve environmental sanitation in coastal areas to prevent an increase in morbidity in children under five.
