Abstract

Pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) di Sekolah Dasar/Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (SD/MI) sering kali menghadapi kendala berupa rendahnya minat dan hasil belajar siswa akibat penyampaian materi yang masih bersifat konvensional dan kurang interaktif. Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi memberikan peluang untuk menghadirkan pembelajaran yang lebih inovatif melalui penggunaan media pembelajaran interaktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penggunaan media pembelajaran interaktif dalam pembelajaran IPS di SD/MI serta pengaruhnya terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan menganalisis berbagai jurnal ilmiah, buku, dan artikel penelitian yang relevan dengan topik media pembelajaran interaktif dan pembelajaran IPS di SD/MI. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran interaktif, seperti video pembelajaran, animasi, aplikasi edukatif, game edukasi, simulasi digital, dan virtual reality, mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar, keaktifan siswa, serta pemahaman konsep IPS yang bersifat abstrak. Selain itu, media interaktif juga berperan dalam mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan literasi digital siswa. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran interaktif merupakan alternatif yang efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS siswa SD/MI apabila diintegrasikan secara tepat oleh guru sesuai dengan tujuan pembelajaran dan karakteristik peserta didik.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of Roulette Bingo as an innovative learning medium to enhance critical thinking skills in fourth-grade Indonesian language learning. The research employed a mixed-methods approach within a Research and Development (R&D) framework using the ADDIE model, involving stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, tests, and documentation, and analyzed using descriptive statistics and N-Gain analysis. The validation results indicated that the developed media achieved a very high feasibility level, supported by expert judgments in media, material, and language aspects. Implementation findings demonstrated a significant improvement in students’ critical thinking skills, as reflected in the increase from pre-test to post-test scores and a high N-Gain category. Qualitative findings also revealed increased student engagement, collaboration, and active participation during learning activities. These results confirm that Roulette Bingo serves as an effective, interactive, and practical instructional medium aligned with contemporary pedagogical demands. The study highlights the importance of integrating game-based learning to foster higher-order thinking skills in elementary education.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find the problems that exist in the implementation of social studies learning in elementary schools. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. This research was conducted at SDN Ciwaktu in the city of Serang using the interview method with teachers at SDN Ciwaktu. The results of this research show that students have problems both from external factors, namely school and family factors, and internal factors consisting of intelligence, interests, talents, motivation, emotion and mental health. The most important thing is the teacher's lack of ability to choose learning methods and media that suit the character of each student.

Abstract

Pancasila education plays a crucial role in shaping a strong and robust sense of citizenship identity. This article discusses the urgency and positive impact of implementing Pancasila education in the context of fostering citizenship identity in Indonesia. Through theoretical approaches and practical analyses, this article highlights the contribution of Pancasila education in imparting fundamental values such as justice, unity, and mutual cooperation to the younger generation. Pancasila education not only teaches knowledge about the basic concepts of the state but also fosters a sense of nationalism and love for the homeland. By strengthening citizenship identity, society becomes more aware of its rights and obligations as members of the nation, and is ready to actively participate in nation-building. This article also summarizes several effective strategies in implementing Pancasila education at various educational levels to enhance the understanding and awareness of citizenship among the younger generation.

Abstract

The quality of learning at the elementary school level in Indonesia continues to face various challenges, one of which is the dominance of traditional teacher-centered instructional methods, resulting in low student motivation, participation, and critical thinking skills. This study aims to explore and analyze the effectiveness of implementing active and innovative learning methods that are relevant in the context of primary education to enhance learning quality. A library research method was employed by analyzing various scholarly articles and documents related to active and innovative learning in elementary schools. The findings indicate that instructional strategies such as Project-Based Learning, Problem-Based Learning, Discovery Learning, and cooperative approaches like Think-Pair-Share have proven effective in improving learning outcomes, critical thinking skills, creativity, and student motivation. Additionally, the integration of technology through interactive digital media and gamification approaches also contributes positively to increased student participation and the creation of an enjoyable learning environment. These results affirm that active and innovative learning plays a significant role in improving the quality of primary education. The study recommends ongoing teacher training and the provision of supporting facilities as essential prerequisites to ensure that student-centered methods are implemented effectively within Indonesia’s basic education system.
