Abstract

Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) is one of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) application program, which aims to determine the effectiveness of a machine. PT. X has 3 machine batching plant where machine 1 and 2 used effectively, from the data historically known that the machines batching plant 1 having a value greater namely 1030 minutes compared to the engine batching plant 2 that have value 240 minutes. This research measures the OEE value of two machines Bactching Plant and then compares the results. The value obtained is 82.71% for machine 1 and 84.83% for machine 2. This research suggests that the performance factor is the biggest problem in the machine OEE values, because the enterprise systems is make to order, the recommended action is to maximize the production capacity of each machine by considering a more accurate production targets in each period.

Abstract

PT. Phapros Tbk is one of the oldest and biggest pharmaceutical company in Indonesia. As raw material inventory plays a key role to compete in this type of industry, it is important for PT. Phapros, Tbk to keep it well maintained. However, the Production Planning and Inventory Control Division, whose responsibility is planning and controlling the raw material has not implemented the Material Requirement Planning (MRP) method that causes a problem regarding the overstock of captopril, the ingredient for producing captopril 25 mg tablet. There are too much raw materials ordered and ends up with higher expense. The author proposed a lotting method to develop an efficient raw material planning. Results shows that using Wagner Within Algorithm method can help the company minimizes the total expense spent by Rp 984.977.

Abstract

In this recent time, almost all of jobs sectors using technology and computer for they activities. By using computers, they reach value added as efficiency, more faster, and validity. Using computers for a long time and for continuity activities, need work environment that support their produvtivity and their safety. Work environment such as lighting, the screen colour, the smels of room, etc are the factors that can influence activities’s productivity and quality. For that purposes, this paper research about the influence of intensity of lamp lighting and computer’s screen lighting to typing productivity. The experiment does with factorial design becouse they use two factors (intensity of lamp lighting and computer’s screen lighting ). Every factors have 3 levels (kualitative and kuantitative). The respons that want to know the typing productivity (word in 10 second) for each responden. The replication for the experiment is 3 for each treatment.From the result, there are no significant influence between intensity of lamp lighting, computer’s screen lighting and typing productivity.

Abstract

Strategic alignment between information technology and business strategy is needed to achieve an organization's performance excellence. Bank X is a bank that focused on serving the micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) market segments. Bank X provided a variety of banking services which are generally grouped into activities of raising and distributing funds. Banking services are carried out conventionally. At the end of 2019, Bank X was acquired by an investment holding company. The objective of the acquisition is to develop Bank X into a bank with a digital platform. This study aims to measure the maturity level of strategic alignment of information technology with business strategies at Bank X. A conceptual framework is developed based on relevant literature. The level of strategic alignment is measured based on Luftman's Strategic Alignment Maturity Model (SAMM) framework. The results of the analysis show that the strategic alignment maturity level of Bank X is at level 3. Several recommendations are given to improve the maturity level of Bank X's strategic alignment.

Abstract

Penilaian performansi bertujuan untuk mengembangkan potensi, kepuasan kerja, dan komitmen pegawai terhadap organisasi. Nilai dan budaya organisasi adalah aspek yang perlu diintegrasikan dengan proses penilaian performansi yang berorientasi pada pengembangan pegawai. PT. XYZ merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang jasa outsourcing yang memiliki pegawai outsource yang melebihi 1.000 orang. Dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan penilaian performansi pegawai Head Office (HO) PT. XYZ masih menggunakan sistem penilaian searah dan tertutup, selain itu belum ada evaluasi maupun feedback yang diberikan dari hasil penilaian yang dilakukan. Pegawai merasa program pengembangan & pembelajaran, sistem penilaian, dan penghargaan masih belum sesuai dengan ekspektasi. Hal ini berdampak pada kepuasan pegawai dan menjadi salah satu latar belakang meningkatnya angka turn over pegawai pada tahun 2021. Penelitian ini membahas tentang sistem penilaian performansi pegawai HO sebagai upaya awal meningkatkan kepuasan pegawai dan merangsang peningkatan performa. Fuzzy AHP dengan metode penilaian 360 Degree feedback digunakan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan terhadap kesubjektifan penilaian. Metode penilaian yang digunakan diintegrasikan dengan nilai dan budaya perusahaan. Berdasarkan perhitungan fuzzy AHP dimensi dengan bobot tertinggi adalah performansi tugas 0,595, performansi adaptif 0,205, performansi kontekstual 0,144, dan perilaku kerja kontraproduktif 0,056. Hasil penilaian kemudian digunakan untuk proses perhitungan pemberian insentif.  Abstract[Development of Employee Performance Appraisal System in Outsourcing Service Companies] Performance appraisal aims to develop employee potential, job satisfaction, and commitment to the organization. Organizational values and culture are aspects that need to be integrated with a performance appraisal process that is oriented toward employee development. PT. XYZ is a company engaged in outsourcing services with more than 1,000 outsourced employees. In carrying out employee performance appraisal activities at the Head Office (HO) of PT. XYZ still uses a unidirectional and closed scoring system, apart from that there has been no evaluation or feedback given from the results of the assessment. Employees feel that development & learning programs, assessment systems, and awards are still not in line with expectations. This has an impact on employee satisfaction and is one of the reasons for increasing employee turnover rates in 2021. This research discusses the HO employee performance appraisal system as an initial effort to increase employee satisfaction and stimulate increased performance. Fuzzy AHP with a 360 Degree feedback assessment method is used to solve problems regarding the subjectivity of the assessment. The valuation method used is integrated with the company's values and culture. Based on the AHP fuzzy calculation, the dimension with the highest weight is task performance 0.595, adaptive performance 0.205, contextual performance 0.144, and counterproductive work behavior 0.056. Abstract

AbstrakMunculnya pandemi COVID-19 telah mengubah berbagai industri dalam menjalankan aktvitasnya, tidak terkecuali Sinotif Permata Hijau yang bergerak di industri jasa bidang bimbingan belajar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi serta menganalisa hubungan antara variabel Service Quality Barrier (variabel yang menghalang tercapainya kualitas) pada Sinotif Permata Hijau dengan menggunakan pendekatan Interpretive Structure Modelling (ISM) dan Matrix of Cross Impact Multiplication Applied to a Classification (MICMAC), sehingga dapat dilakukan perbaikan terhadap variabel Service Quality Barrier. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat 6 Service Quality Barrier yang perlu dibenahi dan rekomendasi perbaikan sebagai berikut: Mengevaluasi fasilitas yang dibutuhkan dalam proses pembelajaran online, Menciptakan kurikulum pelatihan untuk guru serta melakukan training secepat mungkin, Penetapan KPI yang lebih detil sebagai dasar pengembangan terus – menerus perusahaan, Melakukan peningkatan kualitas untuk menjadi dasar keyakinan pelanggan terhadap perusahaan, Mengkaji penerapan protokol kesehatan di tempat kerja sehingga dalam penerapannya tidak mengganggu aktivitas kerja.Kata kunci: ISM, Kualitas, MICMAC, Service Quality BarrierThe emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic has changed various industries in carrying out their activities, not least Sinotif Permata Hijau that engaged the service industry in the field of tutoring. The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze the relationship between Service Quality Barrier variables (variables that prevent quality from being achieved) in the Sinotif Permata Hijau using interpretive structure modelling (ISM) and Matrix of Cross Impact Multiplication Applied to a Classification (MICMAC approach), so that improvements can be made to service quality barrier variables. The results showed there are 6 Service Quality Barriers that need to be improved and improvement recommendations as follows: Evaluating the facilities needed in the online learning process, Creating a training curriculum for teachers and conducting training as quickly as possible, Determination of more detailed KPIs as the basis of continuous development of the company, Improving the quality to be the basis of customer confidence in the company, Reviewing the application of health protocols in the workplace so that in its implementation does not interfere with work activities.Keywords: ISM, Quality, MICMAC, Service Quality Barrier

Abstract

AbstrakPemilihan vendor atau supplier merupakan yang suatu hal yang penting bagi perusahaan. Pada PT XYZterjadi ketidaksesuaian spesifikasi teknis dalam layanan pengelolaan database dengan kondisi perusahaan yang menyebabkan terjadi penurunan tingkat performansi pengelolaan database pada periode ini. Hal itu terjadi karena pemilihan vendor jasa layanan pengelolaan database yang selama ini dilakukan terlaluberfokus pada harga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis vendor jasa layanan pengelolaandatabase terbaik yang sebaiknya dipilih perusahaan. Metode Analytical Hierarchy Process atau AHP dapatdigunakan untuk memilih vendor berdasarkan kriteria yang telah ditetapkan oleh perusahaan. Kriteriatersebut yaitu harga, kemampuan teknis, kinerja masa lalu, kualitas, dan manajemen organisasi.Perbandingan berpasangan antarkriteria dan antaralternatif dilakukan untuk mengetahui bobot darimasing masing kriteria dan alternatif yang dapat dijadikan acuan untuk analisis pemilihan vendor terbaik.Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh dari ketiga vendor yang diteliti,menunjukan bahwa Vendor B memilikibobot akhir terbesar. Maka dari itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Vendor B merupakan vendor yang palingbaik untuk vendor jasa layanan pengelolaan database perusahaan.Kata kunci: AHP; analytical hierarchy process; multi criteria decision making; pemilihan vendor Abstract[Vendor Selection of Database Management Service Using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) Method]Vendor or supplier selection is an important aspect for companies. At PT XYZ, there was a discrepancy inthe technical specifications of the database management service, which resulted in a decrease in theperformance level of database management during this period. This occurred because the selection of thedatabase management service vendor was overly focused on price. This research aims to analyze the bestvendor for the company's database management service. The Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method can be used to select vendors based on criteria established by the company. These criteria include price, technical capability, past performance, quality, and organizational management. Pairwise comparisonsbetween criteria and alternatives are conducted to determine the weights of each criterion and alternative,which serve as a reference for selecting the best vendor. The research results from the three studied vendorsindicate that Vendor B has the highest final weight. Abstract

AbstrakPabrikan PMA Jepang yang bergerak di sektor pengemasan karton bergelombang adalah PT XYZ. Risiko ada di setiap aspek operasi perusahaan, dan manajemen risiko sangat penting untuk kelancaran operasi rantai pasokan. Untuk mengatasi agen risiko prioritas dalam rantai pasokan PT XYZ, penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mengidentifikasi kejadian dan bahaya agen risiko yang terjadi selama operasi rantai pasokan dan menyarankan solusi untuk menanganinya. Untuk menentukan nilai relatif dari berbagai agen risiko dan strategi mitigasinya, penelitian ini menggunakan kerangka House of Risk (HOR). Metodologi Supply Chain Operation Reference (SCOR) digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi peristiwa dan agen risiko. Temuan mengungkapkan total 43 faktor risiko dan 54 kejadian risiko. Tiga agen risiko dipilih untuk menanggung risiko berdasarkan bantuan yang diberikan. Ada lima metode yang direkomendasikan untuk menangani risiko agen dalam rantai pasokan perusahaan.Kata kunci: Agen Risiko, House of Risk (HOR), Kejadian Risiko, Manajemen Risiko, Supply Chain Management.AbstractA Japanese PMA manufacturer working in the corrugated cardboard packaging sector is PT XYZ. Because of the inherent dangers in every facet of the company's operations, risk management is crucial to the smooth functioning of the supply chain. The purpose of this research is to pinpoint the most pressing threats to PT XYZ's supply chain so that appropriate countermeasures may be put in place. In this investigation, the House of Risk (HOR) technique was utilized to establish the order of operations for dealing with risk agents and the best approach for doing so. In order to identify potential threats to a supply chain, the Supply Chain Operation Reference (SCOR) methodology was created. 43 danger agents and 54 risk occurrences in all were found by the research. The results of the identification method were used to select three risk agents for risk mitigation. In order to reduce the possibility that risk agents will infiltrate the company's supply chain, five handling approaches have been recommended.Keywords: Risk Agent, House of Risk (HOR), Risk Event, Risk Management, Supply Chain Management.

Abstract

AbstrakPT. XYZ merupakan perusahaan manufaktur yang menggunakan SDM pada setiap aktivitas perusahaan. Pada proses produksi divisi wafer, bagian baking roll merupakan bagian yang paling vital karena memproses hasil akhir dalam produksi wafer. Segala aktivitas yang dilakukan operator wafer stick memerlukan energi ekstra dalam pekerjaan yang memungkinkan menimbulkan stress pada pekerjanya yang dapat berakibat bolos kerja. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mampu mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis faktor penyebab yang dapat mempengaruhi beban kerja mental yang dialami oleh operator wafer stick dengan menggunakan metode NASA-TLX serta memberikan rekomendasi perbaikan untuk mengurangi beban kerja mental pekerja agar tercipta sistem kerja yang optimal di proses wafer stick. Metode NASA-TLX dipilih karena metode ini mengukur ke dalam 6 dimensi pengukuran beban kerja mental. Hasil perhitungan dari metode NASA-TLX menunjukkan bahwa beban kerja mental operator wafer stick tergolong tinggi. Melalui analisis dari hasil tersebut diketahui bahwa tiap aspek mempunyai masalah masing-masing. Berdasarkan masalah tersebut terdapat 9 operator dengan kategori berat dan 6 operator dengan kategori sedang dengan nilai beban kerja yang paling tinggi ada pada aspek Effort sedangkan untuk nilai beban kerja yang paling rendah ada pada aspek Frustation Level. Penelitian ini terbatas hanya sampai batas rekomendasi perbaikan saja sehingga penerapan rekomendasi perbaikan tidak dilakukan.Kata kunci: beban kerja mental, NASA-TLXAbstract[Title: Mental Workload Analysis using NASA-TLX Method on Wafer Stick Operator] PT XYZ is a manufacturing company that uses human resources in every company activity. In the wafer division production process, the baking roll section is the most vital part because it processes the final result in the wafer production. All activities carried out by wafer stick operators require extra energy in work which may cause stress in workers which can result in skipping work. The purpose of this research is to be able to identify and analyze causal factors that can affect the mental workload experienced by wafer stick operators using the NASA-TLX method and provide recommendations for improvements to reduce the mental workload of workers in order to create an optimal work system in the wafer stick process. The NASA-TLX method was chosen because this method measures into 6 dimensions of mental workload measurement. The calculation results from the NASA-TLX method show that the mental workload of wafer stick operators is high. Through analysis of the results, it is known that each aspect has its own problems. Based on these problems, there are 9 operators in the heavy category and 6 operators in the medium category with the highest workload value in the Effort aspect while the lowest workload value is in the Frustration Level aspect. This research is limited to the extent of improvement recommendations only so that the application of improvement recommendations is not carried out.Keywords: mental workload, NASA-TLX

Abstract

AbstrakPersaingan dalam industri pengolahan minyak kelapa di Indonesia sangat kompetitif. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi nama dari sebuah perusahaan ialah kualitas dari produk yang dihasilkan. PT XYZ adalah perusahaan pengolahan pabrik minyak kelapa sawit (PMKS) yang memproduksi minyak mentah kelapa sawit (Crude Palm Oil), inti kelapa sawit (kernel) dan cangkang kelapa sawit. Dalam usaha pengendalian kualitas, PT XYZ beberapa kali menghadapi masalah yang berhubungan dengan kualitas CPO yang tidak mencapai standar. Indikator yang menentukan batas kualitas dari CPO yaitu, kadar asam lemak bebas (Free Fat Acid, FFA) <5%, kadar air <0,25% dan kadar kotoran <0,25%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi jenis cacat dominan dan faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan kecacatan pada CPO. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode statistical quality control, yaitu seven tools dan kapabilitas proses. Hasil yang diperoleh dari analisis diagram pareto bahwa jenis cacat dominan yang mempengaruhi kualitas dari Crude Palm Oil ialah tingginya kadar air dengan persentase 75,47% dan kadar FFA dengan persentase 24,53%. Dengan menggunakan fishbone faktorfaktor yang menyebabkan tingginya kandungan air dan FFA pada Crude Palm Oil antara lain : mesin, manusia, material, dan metode.Kata kunci: Kualitas, Statistical Process Control, Seven Tools, Kapabilitas ProcessAbstractCompetition in the coconut oil processing industry in Indonesia is very competitive. One of the factors that influence the name of a company is the quality of the products produced. PT XYZ is a palm oil processing company (PMKS) that produces crude palm oil (Crude Palm Oil), palm kernel (kernel) and palm shells. In an effort to control quality, PT XYZ several times faced problems related to the quality of CPO that did not reach the standard. The indicators that determine the quality limit of CPO are free fatty acid (FFA) <5%, water content <0.25% and dirt content <0.25%. This study aims to identify the types of dominant defects and the factors that cause defects in CPO. This study uses statistical quality control methods, namely seven tools and process capabilities. The results obtained from the Pareto diagram analysis that the dominant type of defect that affects the quality of Crude Palm Oil is the high water content with a percentage of 75.47% and FFA content with a percentage of 24.53%. By using fishbone, the factors that cause high water content and FFA in Crude Palm Oil include: machines, people, materials, and methods.Keywords: Quality, Statistical Process Control, Seven Tools, Process Capability
