Abstract

The purpose of this study is to provide the best forecasting solution related to subsidized fertilizers at PT Pupuk Indonesia. This research is quantitative in nature, utilizing secondary data from the Annual Report of PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero). The study employs the Weighted Moving Average (WMA) calculation method with weights of 3, 5, and 7, and uses the Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) index to measure the accuracy of the generated data. The analysis results indicate that the sales forecasting using the WMA method with weights of 3, 5, and 7 can be recommended, as the MAPE values fall within the range of 10%-20%, which is categorized as having good predictive capability.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has encouraged changes in marketing strategies in the Food and Beverage (F&B) industry in Indonesia through the use of content marketing and social media marketing as a means to build relationships with consumers and increase customer satisfaction. Although both digital marketing strategies are increasingly being applied, the results of previous research still show inconsistencies regarding their effect on customer satisfaction. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the influence of Content Marketing and Social Media Marketing on Customer Satisfaction in F&B business in Indonesia. This study uses a quantitative approach with purposive sampling techniques on 120 respondents who have made purchases in the F&B business in Indonesia. The data was analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method based on Partial Least Squares (PLS-SEM) with the help of SmartPLS 4 software. The results of the study showed that Content Marketing had a positive and significant effect on Customer Satisfaction with a T-Statistic value of 5.176 and a P-Value of 0.000. In addition, Social Media Marketing also has a positive and significant effect on Customer Satisfaction with a T-Statistic value of 4,750 and a P-Value of 0.000. The Adjusted R-Square value of 0.533 indicates that the two independent variables are able to explain 53.3% of the variation in Customer Satisfaction, while the remaining 46.7% are influenced by other variables outside the research model. These findings indicate that the implementation of quality content marketing and effective social media marketing activities play an important role in increasing customer satisfaction, so that it can be a relevant strategy for F&B business people to strengthen competitiveness in the digital era.

Abstract

The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has encouraged companies to implement personalization strategies in digital marketing through e-commerce platforms and social media. Although AI-based personalization can improve consumer experience and marketing effectiveness, overly intensive personalization may also generate negative responses in the form of consumer resistance. This study aims to analyze the effect of AI personalization on consumer resistance by considering the mediating roles of perceived intrusiveness and customer trust. This study employed a quantitative approach using an explanatory research method. Data were obtained by distributing online questionnaires to 400 active users of digital platforms in Indonesia and were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results show that AI personalization affects perceived intrusiveness, customer trust, and consumer resistance. Perceived intrusiveness is proven to increase resistance behavior, whereas customer trust reduces resistance behavior. In addition, perceived intrusiveness and customer trust are able to mediate the relationship between AI personalization and consumer resistance, both partially and sequentially. This study shows that overly intensive AI personalization can generate intrusive perceptions, reduce consumer trust, and increase resistance to digital marketing. These findings contribute to the development of the literature on the dark side of AI-based personalization and provide input for companies in designing personalization strategies that are more balanced and oriented toward consumer comfort.

Abstract

This study investigates the effect of social influence and price value on the behavior of high school students in using the Ruangguru educational application, with behavioral intention as a mediator. The research addresses the gap in understanding the adoption of digital learning platforms among Indonesian students, where usage decisions are often driven by contextual rather than purely psychological factors. A quantitative approach using PLS-SEM was employed, with data collected from 277 respondents through validated questionnaires (Cronbach’s α > 0.7, AVE > 0.5), chosen for its ability to test both direct and indirect relationships simultaneously. Results indicate that price value has a significant positive effect on user behavior (β = 0.421, t = 5.312, p < 0.001, R² = 0.46), while social influence (β = 0.097, p > 0.05) and behavioral intention (β = 0.083, p > 0.05) do not show significant effects. Descriptive analysis also revealed that 72% of students reported high satisfaction, and 68% expressed willingness to recommend the app, although this intention did not translate into actual usage behavior. These findings highlight that affordability and perceived benefits outweigh peer encouragement or intention in driving adoption, reflecting students’ sensitivity to price-value alignment in digital learning. The study implies that educational technology providers should prioritize accessible pricing strategies, though further research is needed to integrate other UTAUT2 constructs for a more comprehensive understanding.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of influencer credibility attributes and social media content attributes on purchase intention, with brand image as a mediating variable, in the context of local cosmetic products in Jakarta. Using a quantitative approach with Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS), data were collected from 250 respondents through an online survey. The results show that influencer trustworthiness and expertise significantly influence brand image and purchase intention, whereas attractiveness affects purchase intention only through brand image. Informative and interactive social media content positively impacts brand image and purchase intention, whereas entertainment-oriented content does not show a significant effect. Brand image is confirmed as a key mediating mechanism that strengthens the relationship between influencer credibility, content attributes, and purchase intention. These findings highlight the importance of credibility-driven influencers and informative, interactive content strategies in enhancing consumer purchase intention in the cosmetic industry.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of job characteristics and employee engagement on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) among frontline public service workers in Indonesia, specifically within the Public Infrastructure and Facilities Maintenance Unit (PPSU), referred to as the “Orange Troops.” We used a quantitative explanatory research design to get data from 96 PPSU employees using a structured questionnaire. Job characteristics were assessed utilizing the Job Characteristics Model, employee engagement was evaluated through the Utrecht Work Engagement Scale, and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) was quantified using recognized multidimensional frameworks. We used Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to analyze the data. The results show that both job characteristics (β = 0.430, p < 0.001) and employee engagement (β = 0.305, p = 0.001) positively and significantly affect OCB. The model explains 43% of the variance in OCB (R² = 0.43), indicating a moderate level of predictive power. These findings suggest that employees are more likely to exhibit discretionary, prosocial behaviors when their jobs are meaningful, autonomous, and well-structured, and when they feel engaged and committed to their work. This research enhances the public sector organizational behavior literature by emphasizing the essential functions of job characteristics and engagement in promoting organizational citizenship behavior among urban service employees. In practice, companies can improve OCB by making jobs more compelling and keeping employees engaged through initiatives that recognize, support, and help them grow.
