Abstract

The rapid adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in digital marketing has changed how consumers interact with brands, particularly through personalized recommendations, chatbot services, and dynamic pricing. However, although these AI-based features are widely used on digital platforms, consumers may still question their reliability, fairness, and transparency. This study aims to examine the effects of AI-driven personalization, AI-enabled chatbot interaction, and AI-based dynamic pricing on consumer purchase decisions through trust in AI systems. This research employed a quantitative approach using a cross-sectional survey of consumers who had experience using AI-based features on digital platforms in Indonesia. Data was analyzed using PLS-SEM. The results show that AI-driven personalization and chatbot interaction positively influence purchase decisions, while dynamic pricing has no direct effect. Trust in AI systems significantly mediates the relationship between AI-based marketing features and purchase decisions. This study concludes that consumer trust is essential in converting AI-driven marketing strategies into purchase behavior.

Abstract

Objective: The integration of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) in digital advertising triggers a paradigm shift toward hyper-personalization, introducing a theoretical tension between communication effectiveness and consumer ethical integrity. This study aims to comprehensively investigate the impact of Generative AI Advertising on consumer acceptance by extracting the dual mediating roles of perceived authenticity and perceived ethical risk. Method: Utilizing an explanatory quantitative research design, primary data were collected through a survey of 250 active marketplace users in Indonesia, specifically targeting the high-involvement electronic product segment. The data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Results: Empirical findings confirm that GenAI Advertising exerts a positive and significant effect on perceived authenticity while simultaneously elevating perceived ethical risk. Perceived authenticity acts as a crucial antecedent that positively enhances consumer acceptance. Interestingly, contradicting traditional risk-avoidance assumptions, perceived ethical risk also exerts a significant positive effect on acceptance levels. This confirms the existence of a privacy paradox, wherein consumers willingly compromise ethical vulnerabilities in exchange for hyper-personalized utility. Both variables act as complementary partial mediators; nevertheless, GenAI-based advertising retains a direct, positive, and significant impact on consumer acceptance. The research model demonstrates substantial predictive power, explaining 66.4% of the variance. Conclusions: This study extends the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Authenticity Theory by justifying that algorithmic advertising effectiveness relies on the firm's strategic orchestration in managing the ethics-authenticity paradox. Managerially, proactive algorithmic transparency is crucial as a credibility signal to navigate this privacy calculus in the era of digital hyper-reality

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of profitability and leverage on company value with dividend policy as a mediating variable in non-cyclical consumer sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sample used in this study is 10 companies with a research period of 2018 - 2024. This study uses secondary data, with a sampling technique in the form of purposive sampling. The data processing or analysis methods used are classical assumption testing, panel data regression analysis, and hypothesis tests using the t test, F test, and Sobel test. The data processing tool used is EViews 14. Based on the results of the study, it is known that profitability has a positive and significant effect on the company's value, while leverage and dividend policy do not have a significant effect on the company's value. In addition, profitability and leverage have no significant effect on dividend policy. The results of the mediation test showed that the dividend policy was unable to mediate the influence of profitability and leverage on the company's value

Abstract

This study examines the impact of delivery speed as a standalone dimension of service quality on customer trust within the Indonesian e-commerce sector. Amidst the rapid growth of digital transactions, logistics efficiency specifically timeliness and consistency has shifted from a service differentiator to a fundamental market standard. Using a quantitative explanatory research design, data were collected via structured surveys from 100 active e-commerce users through purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using simple linear regression and processed with SMARTPLS software.Descriptive results indicate high average values for both delivery speed (25.3858) and customer trust (39.3622), reflecting positive consumer perceptions. The inferential analysis confirms that delivery speed has a positive and significant effect on customer trust (t = 5.480, p < 0.05). The Adjusted R Square value of 0.886 reveals that delivery speed explains 88.6% of the variation in customer trust. These findings reinforce the theoretical importance of reliability and responsiveness in mitigating post-purchase uncertainty. Practically, the study underscores the necessity for e-commerce players to optimize last-mile logistics to sustain long-term digital business competitiveness

Abstract

This study examines the determinants of intention to use digital banking services within the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) framework, focusing on perceived usefulness (PU), perceived ease of use (PEOU), and attitude (ATT). As digital banking adoption grows rapidly in Indonesia amid the regional expansion of fintech innovations across Southeast Asia, understanding the behavioral mechanisms behind adoption becomes increasingly significant for both information systems and management research. A quantitative approach was applied using survey data from 210 active digital banking users in Jakarta, analyzed through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS 4.0. The results show that ease of use has a significant positive impact on users’ intention to adopt digital banking, emphasizing the importance of intuitive system design and low-effort interaction. Meanwhile, usefulness and attitude were found statistically insignificant in predicting intention, indicating that functional benefits alone may not directly drive user behavior. Rather than drawing conclusions about user priorities, these findings suggest a more complex interplay between cognitive and experiential factors. The study extends TAM by highlighting the contextual influence of user experience and cultural expectations in emerging digital economies beyond Indonesia. Practically, financial institutions are advised to enhance usability through seamless navigation, efficient processes, and reduced cognitive barriers to strengthen engagement and long-term adoption.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing continuance intention to use telemedicine applications in Indonesia by integrating perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, perceived enjoyment, trust, and customer satisfaction as a mediating variable within an extended Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). A quantitative research design was applied using an online questionnaire distributed to 400 telemedicine users in DKI Jakarta, consisting of respondents aged 18–55 years with a gender distribution of 54% female and 46% male. The extension of TAM in this study clarifies how hedonic (perceived enjoyment) and trust-based components enhance the explanatory power of traditional TAM constructs by capturing both utilitarian and affective determinants of post-adoption behavior an aspect often overlooked in prior telemedicine research. Results obtained through Structural Equation Modelin –Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) using SmartPLS 4.0 show that perceived usefulness, perceived enjoyment, and trust significantly influence continuance intention both directly and indirectly through customer satisfaction, while perceived ease of use has no significant effect. Customer satisfaction is confirmed as a central mediating variable, reinforcing the long-term use of telemedicine services. These findings align with global digital health priorities and provide practical insights for healthcare policymakers and telemedicine developers in improving user retention and optimizing post-adoption engagement in Indonesia’s digital healthcare ecosystem.
