Abstract

Itik memiliki potensi untuk dikembangkan sebagai salah satu bahan pangan, khususnya di Pulau Bali Itik merupakan ragam kuliner yang sangat diminati oleh wisatawan dan memiliki nilai jual yang sangat tinggi. Persoalan yang sering menjadi kendala dalam konsumsi olahan itik adalah kadar kolesterol daging itik yang masih tinggi diduga dapat mengganggu kesehatan. Tujuan utama kegiatan ini adalah memproduksi pakan itik yang memicu penurunan kolesterol daging, berkualitas dan mudah didapatkan dengan memanfaatkan bahan baku lokal yang berlimpah yaitu memanfaatkan keong emas yang menjadi hama bagi tanaman padi, dan tepung daun pepaya yang merupakan limbah perkebunan papaya sehingga harganya lebih murah dan memproduksi itik rendah kolesterol. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan pengusul sudah diperoleh formulasi pakan itik yang dapat meningkatkan performance itik dikaji dari pertumbuhan, kualitas daging (organoleptik dan kadar kolesterol) dan status kesehatan itik. Penyediaan bahan baku penyusun pakan itik yang dapat menggantikan tepung ikan yaitu dengan memproduksi tepung silase keong emas secara biologis dengan kandungan protein 45,95%. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui teknologi fermentasi menggunakan mikroba lokal dihasilkan pakan itik organik rendah kolesterol dan herbal probiotik untuk meningkatkan ketersediaan pakan organik, produksi dan kualitas daging itik.

Abstract

Developing Agroedutourism needs to look at the prospects and challenges ahead. The purpose of this study is to analyze the prospects and challenges of agroedutourism in moosa edufarm solok district of west sumatra province. This research was conducted by field observations and interviews with the management. Further the data obtained are analyzed descriptively. The results of this study are in the management of agroedutourism for cattle farming with adult pen sizes which currently accommodate a maximum of 31.5 heads or 31.5 ST livestock. This still shows prospects in the development of cattle in the future. In terms of the carrying capacity of animal feed forage (KPPTR) Effective, it shows that the increase in cattle population in moosa cannot be done because it is negative (-) 24.14ST based on BK needs. This is because the grass forage land managed independently by Moosa Edufarm is only 0.49 ha while the total real population of ST is 32.25. This will be a challenge going forward for managers. In addition, the challenges in managing agroedutoruism in Moosa Edufarm are the outbreak of diseases that attack humans and cattle, the marketing of wagyu cattle which can only be done to certain groups (middle and upper consumers).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze factors such as broiler chicken population, DOC prices, feed prices and drug prices on boiler chicken meat supply, and population, per capita income, boiler chicken meat prices, tourist visits and religious holidays to demand boiler chicken meat in Bali Province. The research method used is multiple linear regression analysis with the help of the SPSS program and trend analysis. Used 2 dependent variables and 9 independent variables. The data used in this study are primary data obtained from interviews with 100 respondents, while secondary data is obtained from annual data from 2009 to 2019. The results of the study concluded that the broiler chicken population, DOC prices, feed prices and drug prices had no effect on the supply of boiler chicken meat at the 95% confidence level and R2 of 0.641. This is because most breeders have partnerships with companies. Meanwhile, partially the demand for boiler chicken meat is determined by the population with a coefficient of 0.045 at 95% confidence. This shows that the increase in population is directly proportional to the consumption of broiler chicken meat. While other variables do not affect the demand for broiler chicken in Bali Province.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the income of Bali Duck farming by giving indigofera leaf juice (Indigofera zollingeriana). This research was conducted for two months at Sesetan Farm, Faculty of Animal Science, Udayana University, Denpasar. The design used was a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments and 5 replications with 120 bali ducks used. The treatments were drinking water without indigofera leaf juice which was used as a control (A), drinking water given indigofera leaf juice as much as 2% (B), drinking water given indigofera leaf juice as much as 4% (C) drinking water given juice indigofera leaves as much as 6% (D). The observed variables include income analysis based on costs, revenues, income, R/C ratio and BEP. The results of the income analysis showed that ducks with 4% indigofera leaf juice gave the best results with an income of Rp 406,561,-/period with an R/C ratio of 1.225. BEP of production units is 36,059 kg live ducks, BEP selling price of ducks per kg is Rp 40,799,-/kg live weight, and BEP for revenue is Rp 1,802,950/period. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that Bali duck farming by giving indigofera leaf juice (Indigofera zollingeriana) can increase the income of farmers. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor lingkungan internal dan eksternal yang mempengaruhi strategi pemasaran pakan itik Duck Cofeed. Penelitian ini merupakan studi kasus yang dilakukan di rumah produksi Duck Cofeed Kerambitan, Kabupaten Tabanan. Jumlah responden sebanyak 7 orang, yang terdiri dari 2 responden praktisi yaitu peternak dan pedagang yang pernah menggunakan dan menjual produk Duck Cofeed, 3 responden akademisi merupakan dosen Fakultas Peternakan Universitas Udayana yang paham dibidang pemasaran Duck Cofeed, dan 2 responden pengambil keputusan yang memiliki pemahaman yang baik tentang ransum itik Duck Cofeed serta aturan dan perijinan dalam pemasaran ransum itik. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan sekunder. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, indepth interview dan wawancara dengan bantuan kuisioner. Analisis yang digunakan ada 3 yaitu, 1) analisis internal dan ekternal usaha untuk menemukan faktor kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang dan ancaman yang akan dimasukkan kedalam matriks IFE dan EFE; 2) matriks IE yang digunakan untuk menentukan posisi usaha; 3) analisis SWOT digunakan untuk menyusun alternatif strategi pemasaran pakan itik Duck Cofeed. Hasil analisis IFE dan EFE penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa posisi strategi pemasan pakan itik Duck Cofeed berada pada sel ke IX pada matriks IE masuk dalam kelompok ke 3 dengan devisi divestasi. Hasil analisis strategi pemasaran menunjukkan bahwa strategi prioritas adalah membuat tabel alternatif bahan baku Duck Cofeed dengan mempertahankan nutrisi yang tinggi dan harga jual yang terjangkau dengan nilai TAS 1,53.Kata kunci: strategi pemasaran, duck cofeed, SWOT, QSPM

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui efek substitusi konsentrat komersial CP-152 dengan konsentrat asal limbah closed house (KLCH) pada ransum terhadap performa dan profil hematologi babi landrace. Rancangan penelitian adalah rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan tiga perlakuan dan setiap perlakuan terdirri atas empat ulangan. Perlakuan tersebut yaitu, A: penggunaan 0% KLCH + 24% konsentrat CP-152; B: 12% KLCH + 12% konsentrat CP-152 dan C: 24% KLCH + 0% konsentrat CP-152. Penelitian menggunakan 12 ekor babi landrace fase finisher dengan rataan bobot badan 63,42 ± 2,39 kg. Parameter penelitian adalah performa dan profil hematologi babi landrace. Hasil penelitiannya adalah, pada kelompok perlakuan A dan B diperoleh hasil yang tidak berbeda nyata untuk semua parameter penunjang performa (P>0,05). Dengan pemakaian 24% KLCH (perlakuan C) didapatkan performa pertambahan bobot badan harian: 11,5% lebih rendah dan susut bobot badan 35,7% lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan A dan B (P<0,05). Pemakaian konsentrat komersial 12%-24% KLCH tidak menyebabkan perubahan profil hematologi babi landrace (P>0,05). Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah substitusi 12% KLCH (B) diperoleh performa yang paling baik. Substitusi konsentrat komersial CP-152 dengan KLCH tidak mengubah profil hematologi babi landrace.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian dilakukan pada salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang pemasaran DOC (day old chicks) pedaging pada makalah ini disebut PT X. Permasalahan yang dihadapi perusahaan adalah belum mampu menyusun strategi pemasaran yang tepat karena kurangnya informasi mengenai ”trend” dan jumlah permintaan DOC di Bali. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kondisi internal dan eksternal yang dihadapi perusahaan dan menyusun rencana serta strategi yang tepat bagi pemasaran perusahaan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada PT X unit Bali di Denpasar serta pengambilan data dari responden peternak dan pakar peternakan di Bali dengan metode survai. Design penelitian adalah riset deskriptif. Data yang diperoleh diolah dengan menggunakan analisis ”Internal Factor Evaluation - External Factor Evaluation” (IFE - EFE) serta matriks Internal-Eksternal (IE). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PT X Unit Bali berada pada sel IV, yang masuk ke dalam kelompok pertama yaitu strategi tumbuh dan bina. Formulasi strategi yang disarankan adalah : 1) melakukan riset pasar; 2) melakukan promosi penjualan dan 3) melakukan analisis kembali terhadap sistem dalam pola kemitraan yang telah diterapkan agar mampu menyerap lebih banyak DOC. ANALYSIS ON THE MARKETING STRATEGY OF DOC BROILER AT PT X OF BALI UNIT Abstract PT X of Bali Unit is one of the companies in marketing of broiler DOC (Day Old Chicks). In the high competition of marketing, the company has to apply the right strategy to increase their own market share. The aims of this study are analyzing the internal and external factors faced by the company, setting up and recommending appropriate plan and strategy for the marketing of DOC at PT X in Bali. The study was conducted at PT X of Bali Unit, and some data sampling has been taken from broiler chicken breeders and animal husbandry scientists in Bali. The internal and external factor analysis and IE Matrix were used in this study. Based on the internal and external factor analysis and IE matrix, there are some alternative strategies suggest to the company : 1) Carry out a marketing research; 2) Carry out a marketing promotion; 3) Reanalyzing the partnership system.

Abstract

The increasing environmental and ethical challenges associated with conventional beef production have intensified consumer awareness of sustainable food systems, particularly in urban areas of Indonesia. This study examines urban consumers’ willingness to pay (WTP) for sustainably produced beef, focusing on how sustainability attributes, including eco-certification, animal welfare, and environmental sustainability, affect purchasing decisions. Data were collected through a mixed-methods approach, integrating online surveys and Discrete Choice Experiments (DCE), involving a representative sample from five major urban centers: Jakarta, Surabaya, Padang, Balikpapan, and Denpasar. The findings indicate that eco-certification is the most valued attribute, with a marginal willingness to pay (MWTP) of IDR 25,000 per kilogram, followed by animal welfare (IDR 18,500) and environmental sustainability (IDR 15,000). Consumers also demonstrated a general willingness to pay a 20% premium for sustainably produced beef, although regional disparities were observed. Jakarta and Surabaya exhibited the highest WTP premiums, at 23% and 22%, respectively, reflecting the influence of socioeconomic variables, including income, educational attainment, and environmental awareness. These results underscore the growing importance of environmental concerns and ethical considerations in shaping urban consumers’ preferences for beef products. The study contributes to the limited body of literature on sustainable meat consumption behavior in emerging markets, offering practical insights for policymakers, producers, and marketers in designing targeted strategies to promote sustainable beef consumption and support the development of environmentally responsible livestock industries in Indonesia.
