Abstract

Software quality is a crucial aspect in mobile application development, particularly for social media applications with high user interaction and intensive usage. TikTok, as one of the most widely used short-video-based social media applications, requires optimal operational quality to ensure a satisfactory user experience. This study evaluates the quality of the TikTok Android application using the McCall method, focusing on Product Operation factors. A quantitative approach was employed, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to TikTok users. The analyzed quality factors include correctness, reliability, efficiency, integrity, and usability. Data were analyzed using weighted scoring based on the McCall model to determine the overall quality level. The results indicate that the TikTok Android application is in the good category, with correctness (84.2%) and efficiency (75%) scoring highest. However, reliability (50.4%), integrity (51.8%), and usability (52.6%) were rated fair, indicating areas for improvement. This study provides insights for developers to enhance software quality and serves as a reference for future research on mobile social media application evaluation.

Abstract

Information technology (IT) infrastructure planning plays a strategic role in supporting organizational performance and achieving business objectives. However, many organizations experience misalignment between IT infrastructure planning and organizational needs, leading to inefficiencies, limited system integration, and suboptimal utilization of IT investments (Maulana, 2024; Njanka et al., 2025). This study aims to analyze the suitability of IT infrastructure planning with organizational needs using a quantitative approach. The research framework integrates the Strategic Alignment Model (SAM), Strategic Alignment Maturity Model (SAMM), and COBIT 2019 governance principles. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire distributed to IT managers and system users. A total of 85 valid responses were analyzed using descriptive statistics and gap analysis. The results indicate that IT infrastructure planning is moderately aligned with organizational needs, particularly in supporting operational activities. Nevertheless, significant gaps were identified in system integration, scalability, and long-term infrastructure planning. These findings highlight the importance of continuous evaluation and governance-based IT planning to enhance alignment and ensure sustainable organizational performance.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi mendorong instansi pemerintah untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan publik berbasis digital. Dinas Penanaman Modal dan Pelayanan Terpadu Satu Pintu (DPMPTSP) Provinsi Sumatera Selatan telah memanfaatkan berbagai sistem informasi, seperti OSS, Sicantik, dan Srikandi, dalam mendukung pelayanan perizinan. Namun, dalam pelaksanaannya masih ditemukan kendala pada pengelolaan layanan teknologi informasi, khususnya terkait pelaporan insiden, dokumentasi layanan, pemantauan kinerja, serta evaluasi layanan yang belum optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan manajemen layanan teknologi informasi di DPMPTSP Provinsi Sumatera Selatan menggunakan framework ITIL v4 serta menilai tingkat kematangan (Maturity Level) layanan TI. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, kuesioner, dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis dilakukan pada lima domain ITIL v4, yaitu Service Desk, Incident Management, Continual Improvement, Monitoring and Event Management, serta IT Asset and Configuration Management. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kematangan layanan teknologi informasi berada pada kisaran Level 3 (Defined) menuju Level 4 (Managed). Meskipun proses layanan telah berjalan dengan cukup baik, masih terdapat kesenjangan antara kondisi aktual dan target yang diharapkan, terutama pada domain Monitoring and Event Management. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini menghasilkan rekomendasi perbaikan yang berfokus pada peningkatan standardisasi proses, pencatatan layanan terpusat, pemantauan kinerja, serta penguatan pengelolaan layanan TI guna meningkatkan efektivitas pelayanan publik.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan teknologi informasi memiliki peran penting dalam mendukung efektivitas dan kualitas layanan publik pada instansi pemerintahan. Direktorat Lalu Lintas Polda Sumatera Selatan (Ditlantas Polda Sumsel) merupakan salah satu instansi yang telah mengimplementasikan layanan digital, seperti SIGNAL, ERI, dan BRAVO, sehingga diperlukan pengelolaan layanan teknologi informasi yang terstruktur dan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat kematangan manajemen layanan teknologi informasi di Ditlantas Polda Sumsel menggunakan framework ITIL v4, dengan fokus pada praktik Incident Management, Problem Management, serta Capacity and Performance Management. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif melalui penyebaran kuesioner berdasarkan ITIL v4, yang didukung dengan analisis maturity level, analisis gap, analisis SWOT, dan pemetaan RACI. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketiga praktik tersebut berada pada Level 5 (Optimized), yang menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan layanan TI telah diterapkan secara konsisten, terukur, dan berorientasi pada perbaikan berkelanjutan. Hasil analisis gap menunjukkan adanya kesenjangan yang relatif kecil antara kondisi layanan TI saat ini dengan tingkat kematangan yang ditargetkan, sehingga masih terdapat peluang untuk penyempurnaan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis tersebut, disusun rekomendasi perbaikan guna menjaga dan meningkatkan kualitas layanan TI secara berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi bahan evaluasi dan referensi dalam pengembangan manajemen layanan TI di Ditlantas Polda Sumatera Selatan.

Abstract

Advances in information technology have encouraged distribution companies to enhance service quality and operational effectiveness through the use of adequate IT infrastructure. PT TVMI is a company engaged in the sales and distribution of Toshiba televisions in Indonesia. Its operational activities—such as inventory management, transaction recording, goods distribution, and after-sales services—require the support of an integrated IT infrastructure. This study aims to analyze the IT infrastructure requirements at PT TVMI and to design recommendations for their implementation with reference to the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework. The research methods used include needs analysis, gap analysis, and IT service process mapping based on ITIL domains. The results indicate that PT TVMI must modernize its IT infrastructure through the development of an integrated information system, the improvement of IT service procedures, the strengthening of information security, and the enhancement of IT human resource capabilities. The application of the ITIL framework is expected to improve the effectiveness of distribution operations, minimize system downtime, increase the accuracy of inventory data, and enhance coordination between work units.

Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been transforming various sectors, and the music streaming industry is no exception. Spotify stands out for employing AI to deliver tailored music suggestions to its users. This research explores user responses to such AI-driven features by utilizing the Technology Acceptance Model as an analytical framework. The study evaluates four dimensions: perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, behavioral intention, dan actual system use. A survey method was implemented, gathering responses from 100 Spotify users. The results were examined with the help of statistical tools, namely SPSS and SmartPLS. Findings reveal that users’ continued engagement is more strongly linked to the perceived advantages of AI recommendations than to how easy the system is to use.

Abstract

The advancement of technology, particularly Artificial Intelligence (AI), has brought significant changes to the education sector, especially in the use of digital learning applications such as Duolingo. This application integrates AI to provide an adaptive and personalized learning experience, enabling content customization and automatic feedback based on user performance. This research endeavors to understand the impact of AI technology in the Duolingo application on user satisfaction by applying the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) framework. A quantitative approach was used, with data gathered through questionnaires distributed to 100 active Duolingo users. The research variables include perceived ease of use (PEOU), perceived usefulness(PU), attitude toward use(AT), behavioral intention(BI), and actual usage(AU). The outcomes of the validity and reliability tests show that all instruments utilized in this research fulfill the requirements for validity and reliability.Structural model analysis shows that all hypotheses in the TAM model are statistically significant, where the ease of use of AI positively influences perceived usefulness, user attitude, behavioral intention, and actual usage. The conclusion of this study reveals that the integration of AI in Duolingo has a positive impact on user satisfaction. This study helps to further the understanding of learning technology that is more engaging, interactive, effective, and adaptable to future needs.

Abstract

As one of the popular platforms and often used by the general public, Instagram is a social media that is widely used by the public that allows us to post content, exchange content, and get information from the Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithm. Based on the number of users who use the Instagram application, this study was conducted to provide a level of user satisfaction with the AI ​​algorithm in personalizing content presented by the Instagram application. The approach applied to assess the level of user satisfaction with the AI ​​algorithm is the End-User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) Method. The data collection method appliedis the use of a questionnaire with a total of 18 questions distributed to 100 respondents who are active users of the Instagram a pplication. Based on the data collection obtained using EUCS, from a total of 5 hypotheses, there are 2 hypotheses that have a significant influence on the scale of user satisfaction and these variables are accuracy & timeliness variables. From the results of this hypothesis, it can be stated that the AI ​​algorithm in the Instagram application provides satisfaction to users in the context of content personalization accuracy and timeliness in presenting content, but the AI ​​algorithm has not made a significant contribution to other aspects such as Content, Format and Ease of Use. The percentage obtained based on 5 hypothesis tests, 40% shows that the AI ​​algorithm has influenced user satisfaction, but the other 60% are content suitability, explore page accuracy, lack of application display, and user convenience in using the application that still needs to be returned by the application manager to provide a satisfying user experience. This study can be a basis for the Instagram application itself to improve the AI ​​algorithm in developing their application in order to provide comprehensive satisfaction to users.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang pesat mendorong organisasi kemanusiaan seperti Palang Merah Indonesia untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan responsivitas layanan. Namun, di Unit Donor Darah PMI Kota Palembang, pemanfaatan SI/TI masih bersifat operasional dan belum terintegrasi dengan strategi organisasi secara menyeluruh. Hal ini menyebabkan kesenjangan antara kebutuhan bisnis dan dukungan teknologi yang tersedia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang perencanaan strategis SI/TI yang selaras dengan visi dan misi organisasi menggunakan pendekatan metodologi Ward and Peppard. Analisis dilakukan melalui PESTEL, SWOT, Value Chain, dan Critical Success Factors, yang menghasilkan usulan portofolio aplikasi masa depan. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi nyata terhadap peningkatan kinerja layanan kemanusiaan di era digital, sekaligus menjadi acuan strategis bagi pengembangan SI/TI di PMI Kota Palembang. Abstract

PT JACCS MPM FINANCE INDONESIA merupakan perusahan yang bergerak dibidang pembiayaan investasi modal usaha dan multiguna di sektor otomotif. Perusahaan ini memiliki banyak pegawai yang tersebar di berbagai cabang di Indonesia. Untuk meningkatkan kinerja pegawai, perusahaan memberikan penghargaan kepada pegawai terbaik setiap bulannya. Namun, proses penentuan pegawai terbaik masih dilakukan secara manual dengan mempertimbangkan beberapa kriteria seperti kehadiran, kedisiplinan, kinerja, dan lain-lain. Hal ini menyebabkan proses penentuan pegawai terbaik menjadi subjektif dan memakan waktu yang lama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun sistem pendukung keputusan penentuan pegawai terbaik menggunakan metode TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution). Metode TOPSIS dipilih karena mampu menyelesaikan masalah pengambilan keputusan secara praktis, konsep sederhana dan mudah dipahami, komputasinya efisien, serta memiliki kemampuan untuk mengukur kinerja relatif dari alternatif-alternatif keputusan. Sistem ini dikembangkan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dengan framework CodeIgniter dan database MySQL. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu melakukan perhitungan dengan akurat sesuai dengan metode TOPSIS dan dapat membantu pihak manajemen dalam menentukan pegawai terbaik secara objektif dan efisien.
