Abstract

 This study aims to determine the response of farmers to the sugarcane agroindustry development plan and to determine the factors that influence the response of farmers to the sugarcane agroindustry development plan in West Muna Regency. The method of data analysis uses proportion test and multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that (1) the level of community response to the sugarcane agroindustry development plan was in the medium category. (2) Age and expected benefits have a significant positive effect on agro-industry development plans. Factors that did not significantly affect the community's response to the sugar cane agroindustry development plan were the level of education, farming experience, land area, and the number of family dependents.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the development of integrated cassava agroindustry in Watondo Village, South Tongkuno District, Muna Regency. The population in this study is integrated cassava agroindustry, the selection of samples using the sense method with 23 respondents classified in 3 categories namely having cassava plantations without agroindustry business with 7 respondents, having cassava plantations and owning an agroindustry business with 11 respondents, having an agro-industry business without cassava plantation with 5 respondents. Data collection is done by interview method, questionnaire, documentation. Data analysis uses income analysis and Comparative performance index analysis. The results showed the highest average income results in the three types of businesses, having an agro-industry business without cassava plantation with income in 2017 of Rp 18,366,850, in 2018 amounting to Rp 23,081,883, CPI analysis with a value of 232,434, owning garden cassava, and having an agro-industry business with income in 2017 amounting to Rp 10,130,894, in 2018 amounting to Rp 12,036,159 CPI analysis with a value of 130,403, and for business types, having cassava plantations without agro-industry businesses with income in 2017 of Rp. 6,984,905, in 2018 amounting to 9,477,679, CPI analysis with a value of 100.

Abstract

The study aims to determine factors that influence the preference of consumers to coffee locally in Regency Muna, to determine the priority choice of consumers to coffee locally in Regency Muna, and to determine a shift in the balance of consumers to coffee Local in Regency Muna.The population in this study are consumers who buy and consume coffee at the study site, the determination of the sample is done by random sampling to obtain 75 respondents. Data collection is done through interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis using multivariate regression analysis with the help of SPSS 16 for windows, analysis of exponential comparison methods and markov analysis. The results of this study indicate that consumer preferences for local coffee on taste variables have a significant effect with a significant value of n 0,000 <0.05, aroma variables have a significant effect 0,000 <0.05, and color variables have a significant effect 0,000 <0.05, MPE analysis shows that local kahawai coffee still has a great opportunity as a priority for consumers in the consumption of coffee in the Maabholu Village, and Markov analysis shows the equilibrium point in the 16th period namely local kahawai coffee 0.243, instant ABC Mocca coffee 0.387, instant coffee boat fire 0.230, and instant coffee Tora Bika 0.054.

Abstract

         This study aims to determine the profile of the coconut sugar industry and the prospects for developing the coconut sugar industry. The data were processed using qualitative analysis to determine the profile of the coconut sugar industry, while to see the prospects used the SWOT analysis method. The population in this study were all coconut sugar business owners. The profiles of the coconut sugar industry are labor, raw materials, capital, length of business, and income. The amount of raw materials needed in one year is 4536. The coconut sugar industry workers use family services, namely their husbands and their children, namely 3-5 people. Coconut sugar entrepreneurs carry out their profession in  5-10 years. Meanwhile, the highest income in the coconut sugar industry was in 2018, namely IDR 5,920,000 with an average of IDR 740,000 per month. Based on the observation that the prospect of the coconut industry is good in terms of income, by using the calculation of Net Income, Gross Income, and R / C analysis, it is found that the coconut sugar business can provide more benefits for the processors and this business is good to run for the future.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the prospects for the development of patchouli processing business XYZ in Buke village,  Buke District, South Konawe Regency by looking at the financial feasibility analysis. The financial feasibility used consists of Net Present Value (NPV), Benefit-Cost Ratio (B / C Ratio), R / C Ratio, Pay Back Period (PBP), and Break-Even Point (BEP). This research was conducted from July to August 2019. The data used are primary data and secondary data. Analysis of the data used in this research is quantitative descriptive. The results of the financial feasibility of the patchy processing business of IKM XYZ are Net Present Value (NPV) of Rp. 12,521,218, Benefit-Cost Ratio (B / C Ratio) of 1,0086, R / C Ratio of 1,178, Pay Back Period (PBP) of 2.63 months, and Break-Even Point (BEP) of 164.98. From the results of the calculation of the financial feasibility of the patchy processing business, IKM XYZ is declared feasible to be developed and has good prospects.

Abstract

         This research aims: 1). To find out how to post-harvest management in Kabangka District. 2). To determine the effect of post-harvest handling on the quality of maize in the Kabangka District. This study uses multiple regression analysis with the help of SPSS 20 for windows. This study uses purposive with the consideration that the District of Kabangka is one of the Districts that have good prospects of corn. The number of respondents in this study was 45 people. The results of this study are 1). Workforce experience has a significant effect on water content, and levels of impurities have a very significant effect while broken grains, other colors, and broken grains have no significant effect on labor experience. Long drying does not significantly affect the moisture content and other color grains. whereas for broken grains, broken grains and impurities have no significant effect. The amount of base used has a very significant effect on water content, broken grains, and broken grains, while other color grains and impurities do not affect the amount of base used. 2). Corn quality with SNI reference can be seen in 2004 the maximum SNI water content is 14,15,17, the maximum broken item is 2,4,6,8, other color items are maximum 1,3,7 10, the maximum broken grain is 1,2,3 and maximum impurities content of 1, 2. Abstract

This study aims to determine the manufacturing process and the financial feasibility of pile processing. This research was conducted in Kulisusu District, North Buton Regency. The population in this study were all business owners of pile processing. The determination of the sample is done by purposive (direct appointment) because the pedicab processing business actor only consists of two business units. Samples taken are as many as two business units consisting of all existing populations. The variables in this study are raw materials, supporting materials, labor and equipment. The results showed a 12%/yr NPV calculation in 1%/month. At a discount factor of 1% which is equal to Rp 14.546.944. BCR of 1,16 (>1), IRR of 5% (>1%) and return on investment by calculating PP for 9,92 months, BEP units/production of 288 packages and BEP for Rp 2.486. BEP analysis had reached the break-even point that was determined, namely 1. From the five criteria used, it was indicated that the pile processing in the Kulisusu sub-district was feasible to be developed.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are (1) to determine the availability and quantity of raw materials used in processing coconut oil; (2) to find out the skills of the workforce and the number of preparations produced in each time processing coconut oil; (3) to determine the productivity of coconut oil. The data is processed using qualitative data to determine the study of coconut oil processing business while finding out the amount of income using the R / C Ratio formula and to find productivity using the output/input formula. The population in this study were all coconut oil processing businesses. The total income of all coconut oil processing businesses in Kusambi District, West Muna Regency is Rp. 44,955,330 with an overall average of Rp. 6,916,205. While the average production productivity of the whole is Rp. 1.9088. Based on the calculation of the R / C ratio of coconut oil processing business, it is profitable Produk Innovation.

Abstract

It is based on the fact that small-scale coconut oil processing in micro-scale businesses is facing serious threats and competition with palm oil produced by large and medium-sized entrepreneurs, resulting in a downturn in business as well as weakening the motivation of coconut farmers to process coconut production into coconut oil. As a result, coconut farmers in their daily lives actually buy palm oil processed by large and medium entrepreneurs, while their businesses are getting worse. In line with this, through this research, an analysis of the obstacles and opportunities for the development of the people's coconut oil processing industry was carried out. The purpose of this study was to analyze the barriers to developing the people's coconut oil processing industry on a micro-scale business and to analyze the opportunities for developing the people's coconut oil processing industry on a micro-scale business. The research method is through a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) to identify obstacles and opportunities for developing the coconut oil processing industry, followed by Analysis Hierarchy Process (AHP) to determine priority problems and priority opportunities that should be carried out by multi-stakeholders for the development of the coconut oil processing industry. The results showed that the priority obstacles to the development of the coconut oil processing industry in micro-scale businesses in Konawe Islands Regency were product marketing problems, financial capital, and business funding problems, production equipment problems, skilled labor issues, raw material problems, micro-business protection policy issues, business organization, and management problems, as well as problems in the use of information technology and innovation. The priority of opportunities for the development of the micro-scale coconut oil processing industry in Konawe Kepualauan Regency is the presence of economic value by-products of coconut oil processing, namely shell charcoal, nata de coco, and coconut coir, there is a tendency for people to consume more coconut oil than consume coconut oil. Organizational and business management problems, as well as problems in the use of information technology and innovation. Abstract

The potential for developing coconut commodity plantations in, West Muna Regency, Southeast Sulawesi has not been utilized. This study aims to (a) identify the form and type and capacity of copra business; and (b) knowing the techno- economic study of coconut business revenue located in West Muna Regency, Southeast Sulawesi. Determination of the location of research carried out deliberately (purposive). The method used is a questionnaire and interview. The analysis used is descriptive-analytical and Techno-Economic analysis. The results showed that the form of coconut business in the District of Tiworo Kepulauan Muna Barat Regency is classified as a micro business with assets of 50 million each with a total income in the copra business having a garden of Rp 36.733,125. Then the total coconut business income without processing Rp. 6.493,522 and the total copra business income without having a garden is Rp. 43. 226,647. The total income of copra business in the last 3 years: (a) has the most known plantation income in 2017 amounting to Rp.14,025,625.00; (b) most coconut processing without processing received in 2017 amounted to Rp. 2,390,022.00; and (c) copra business without having the most gardens in 2017 amounted to Rp.16,527,000.00.
