Abstract

The development of hybrid corn is a national program in order to achieve the target of corn self-sufficiency. One of the government supports is the issuance of the Government Purchase Price Policy (HPP) through the Minister of Trade Regulation Number 27 / M-DAG/PER / 5/2017 concerning Reference Price for Purchasing Corn. This HPP policy aims to maintain corn availability, price stability and certainty so that the price of corn at the farm level does not fall when the harvest is overflowing. This study was conducted in Konawe District, which is one of the areas of hybrid corn development in Southeast Sulawesi. The aim was to determine the response of hybrid corn farmers to the Government Purchase Price (HPP) policy in Konawe District. The result is the response of hybrid corn farmers to the Government Purchasing Price (HPP) policy in corn in Konawe. Regency is less than or equal to 50% which has a high response because farmers are still uncertain about the certainty of Bulog's purchase of corn and farmers prefer to sell their crops to the farm collectors who provide convenience to corn farmers include not applying water content requirements and purchases made directly to farmers. Keywords: response; price policy; corn

Abstract

This study examines the processing of patchouli oil using the steam distillation method in North Poleang District, Bombana Regency. Data collection methods: (a) observation; (b) interviews); (c) questionnaires; and (d) documentation. The method in this study is to describe the processing of patchouli oil using the steam distillation method. The results showed the processing of patchouli oil using the steam distillation method in North Poleang District, Bombana Regency. Distilleries are used with water and steam distillation systems. Distil water and steam through a kettle filled with water to the limit of the filter and patchouli leaves on the filter. Then the water is heated and produces steam passing through the material and flowing through a stainless pipe. (a) Patchouli oil is obtained from the leaves, stalks, stems and patchouli plants. Harvesting can be done 6 - 8 months after planting in plants that grow well. Nilan harvest is usually done by pruning as high as 10 - 20 cm from the ground. Production of the first leaves and twigs is still low (about 50 - 75% of normal production). Done every 4 - 6 months depending on the rainfall and soil fertility; (b) drying is usually carried out by drying, the crop (pattern leaves and stalks) are dried in the sun for 5 hours followed by wind-drying for 2 - 3 days until the moisture content reaches 12 - 15%; and (c) direct steam distillation, in which the material is in a still boiler and water vapour is drained from the boiler at the bottom of the distillate. The duration of direct steam distillation ranges from 4-6 hours.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the Chocolate Drink Processing Process of Halal Product Guarantees (Case Study: CV. Sultan Agro Maritim Industri in Kendari City). The research was designed using a case study method with a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out using interviews, observation, and recording tape studies. The research results show that there are 3 research focus points, including (a) halal ingredients, (b) production facilities, and (c) products found in the chocolate drink processing process. Types of raw materials used (cocoa powder), cocoa beans, production facilities (supply of ingredients, processing, storage, packaging, sales), and products (chocolate drinks). Several factors influence the guarantee of halal products in the process of making chocolate drinks, including ingredients, products, and production facilities. The materials used are halal in terms of their substances, how to obtain the materials, and how they are processed. There are no products produced with brands or names that lead to haram, and sensory characteristics such as smell and taste are avoided in haram products. The same thing also applies to the production facilities used in making chocolate drinks, which are protected from haram ingredients, maintain cleanliness and purity, and ensure that there is no contamination from haram materials or products.
