Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the influence of using Quantum Learning toward students learning outcomes on subject matter of waste. The research design was pretest-posttest Non Ekuivalen. The samples in this research were students class X IPA2 and X IPA3 randomly selected by purposive sampling technique. The qualitative data was students activity during the learning process that analyzed descriptively. The result of the research shows that the using of Quantum Learning model can improve the students learning outcomes, it can be seen from the experimental class average valve N-gain of (57.91). Beside that,the average student activity showed an increase that was (71.8). Based on the research, it can be concluded that the Quantum Learning Model was increased the students learning outcomes.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode pembelajaran Quantum  Learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi pokok limbah. Desain penelitian ini adalah pretest-posttest Non Ekuivalen. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X IPA2 dan X IPA3 yang dipilih secara acak dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data kualitatif berupa data aktivitas belajar siswa selama proses pembelajaran yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran Quantum Learning dapat meningkatkan Hasil Belajar  siswa, ini terlihat pada kelas eksperimen rata-rata nilai N-gain sebesar (57,91). Selain itu, rata-rata aktivitas siswa juga menunjukkan peningkatan sebesar (71,8). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran Quantum Learning  meningkatkan hasil belajar  siswa.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, limbah, quantum learning

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of audio-visual media to the improvement of  students learning activities and concept mastery. The samples of this research were the students of XC as the experimental class and XB as a control class. The quantitative data was obtained from the pretest, postest and N-gain which is statistically analyzed using U-test. The qualitative data in the form of students activities  were analyzed descriptively. The result of the research showed that the  average of learning activity and concept mastery by the students in experimental class was improved. The students learning activity was improve  6.88%±0,04, the mastery concept of students was improve with average N-gain 51,18%±15,03. It can be concluded that learning through audio-visual media as a media of learning has an effect in improvement of learning activities and concept mastery by the students.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media audio-visual terhadap peningkatan aktivitas belajar dan penguasaan konsep oleh siswa. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas XC sebagai kelas eksperimen dan XB sebagai kelas kontrol. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari nilai pretes, postes dan N-gain yang dianalisis secara statistik menggunakan uji-U. Data kualitatif berupa hasil observasi aktivitas siswa yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata aktivitas belajar dan penguasaan konsep oleh siswa kelas eksperimen mengalami peningkatan. Aktivitas belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan sebesar 6,88%±0,04, penguasaan konsep  siswa meningkat dengan rata-rata N-gain  51,18%±15,03. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan pembelajaran menggunakan media audio-visual sebagai media pembelajaran berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan aktivitas belajar dan penguasaan konsep oleh siswa.Kata kunci : aktivitas belajar, media audio-visual, pencemaran lingkungan, penguasaan konsep

Abstract

This research was aimed to know the effect of group investigation model to students learning activity and students comprehension at SMA N 1 Sungkai Selatan. Samples were X.1 and X.2 that was chosen from population by cluster random sampling. This research design was pretest-postest non equivalent class. Quantitative data were obtained from the average of pretest and postest scores that were analyzed statically using t-test and U-test with SPSS 17. Qualitative data were students learning activity that were analyzed descriptively. The result showed improvement of students comprehension in experiment class has 30,04. This model also improved students learning activity from first meeting (62,50) to the second meeting (66,10). Thus, using group investigation model could improved significantly on students comprehension and learning activity.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran GI terhadap penguasaan materi dan aktivitas belajar siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Sungkai Selatan. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas X.1dan X.2 yang dipilih dari populasi secara cluster random sampling. Desain penelitian ini adalah pretes postes tak ekuivalen. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari rata-rata nilai pretes dan postesyang dianalisis secara statistik menggunakan uji-t dan uji-U melalui program SPSS 17. Data kualitatif berupa data aktivitas belajar siswa yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran GI pada kelas eksperimen meningkatkan penguasaan materi oleh siswa dengan rata-rata N-gain 30,04. Model GI juga meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa dari pertemuan I (62,50) ke pertemuan II (66,10). Dengan demikian, penggunaan model pembelajaran GI berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan penguasaan materi dan aktivitas belajar siswa.Kata kunci : aktivitas belajar siswa, model pembelajaran GI, pencemaran lingkungan, penguasaan materi

Abstract

This research aimed to know the ability of creative thinking of students to the concept of environmental pollution. The design used was simple descriptive, with  VII.1, VII.2, VII.3, VII.4, and VII.5 class as research subjects that were selected by purposive sampling technique. The qualitative data obtained by conversion of the worksheets assessment, posters, and written tests, which were evaluated based on fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration, then the data had analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the students creative thinking ability of SMP Negeri 3 Pringsewu on the concept of environmental pollution had low criteria (58,87%).The average worksheets assessment had low criteria (59,20%), very low criteria (50,29%) on posters assessment, and had moderate criteria (67,01%) on written test score.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa pada konsep pencemaran lingkungan. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif sederhana, dengan subjek penelitian kelas VII.1, VII.2,VII.3, VII.4,dan VII.5, yang dipilih berdasarkan teknik purposive sampling. Data kualitatif diperoleh berdasarkan konversi penilaian LKS, poster, dan tes tertulis, yang dinilai berdasarkan aspek kelancaran, keluwesan, keaslian, dan elaborasi, yang selanjutnya dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa SMP Negeri 3 Pringsewu pada konsep pencemaran lingkungan memiliki kriteria rendah (58,87%). Rerata penilaian LKS berkriteria rendah (59,20%), kriteria sangat rendah (50,29%) pada penilaian poster, serta kriteria sedang (67,01%) pada penilaian tes tertulis.Kata kunci: berpikir kreatif, LKS, pencemaran lingkungan, poster, tes tertulis

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the students' mastery of concepts and activities in learning through two stay two stray (TSTS) model and Gallery Walk (GW) in the subject matter respiratory system. Samples were students of class XI IPA1 and XI IPA5 randomly selected by cluster random sampling technique. The quantitative data obtained from the average value of pretest and posttest were statistically analyzed using u-test. The result of this research proves the activities in express their arguement, asking, team work, share the information and persentation get improves by N-gain score in GW class 55.56 where as in TSTS class 39,47. Because of that using a model of learning GW gave significant influance in increasing mastery of concepts and student learning activity.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Penguasaan Konsep dan aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran melalui model Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) dan Gallery Walk (GW)  pada materi pokok sistem pernapasan. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPA1 dan XI IPA5 yang dipilih secara acak dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari rata-rata nilai pretes dan postes yang dianalisis secara statistik menggunakan uji-u. Data kualitatif berupa data aktivitas belajar siswa selama proses pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas mengemukakan pendapat, bertanya, bekerjasama, bertukar informasi dan persentasi mengalami peningkatan dengan skor N-gain pada kelas GW 55,56 sedangkan pada kelas TSTS 39,47. Abstract

Mastery of the material is the result of learning in cognitive skills. The observations in class X Senior High School 15 Bandar Lampung mastery of the material by students is still low. This study aimed to determine the effect of media use picture cards with STAD learning model the activity and control of matter by students on the subject matter Virus. The study design is a pretest-posttest non-equivalent. Quantitative data obtained from initial test scores and final test dinalisis statistically using t-test at 95% confidence level. Qualitative data in the form of student activity data and questionnaire responses of students to use picture cards with model media STAD analyzed descriptively.The results showed the use of a picture card media with STAD learning model has influence on the increased activity of learning and mastery of the material by the students of class X SMA Negeri 15 Bandar Lampung on the subject matter Virus. The highest increase in the indicators of aspects of understanding are supported by studying the activity of the aspects of working with friends (90.7) and lowest indicator is the aspect of the analysis. Besides the increase is supported by the data questionnaire kemenarikan picture card media (88.29%) by stating that the students are happy, easier to understand, more active and motivated to learn to use the picture card media. It can be concluded that the use of a picture card media with STAD learning model has influence on the increased activity of learning and mastery of the material by the students of class X Senior High School  15 Bandar Lampung on the subject matter Virus.Keywords: picture card media, STAD, learning activities, mastery material, virus.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine improvement of students activities and learning outcomes. Samples were X1 and X2 SMAN 1 Trimurjo 2013/2014 Academic Year were selected by purposive sampling and research design was pretest posttest non-equivalen group. Quantitave data were obtained from pretest posttest average value which analysed statisticly. Qualitative data were learning activity, respond questionare, and involved questionare which analyzed descriptively. The results showed percentage average of students activity on whole aspect in good criteria (75,91%). Most of students gave positive responds and involved on Problem Based Learning (PBL). PBL could increased students learning outcomes with N-gain average of high criteria (74,10%). Learning outcomes improvement for cognitive indicators (C2 and C4) with N-gain average of high criteria (79,17%), C2 cognitive indicator and C4 cognitive had medium criteria (69,02%). It was obvious that PBL could increased students activity and learning outcomes.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas X1 dan X2 SMAN 1 Trimurjo TP 2013/2014 yang dipilih secara purposive sampling dan desain penelitian pretes postes kelompok non-ekuivalen. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari rata-rata nilai pretes dan postes yang dianalisis secara statistik. Data kualitatif berupa data aktivitas belajar, angket tanggapan, dan angket keterlibatan siswa yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata persentase aktivitas belajar siswa dalam semua aspek berkriteria baik (75,91%). Sebagian besar siswa memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap model PBL dan terlibat dalam proses pembelajaran PBL. Penggunaan model PBL dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan rata-rata N-gain yang berkriteria tinggi (74,10%). Peningkatan hasil belajar terjadi pada semua indikator kognitif (C2 dan C4) dengan rata-rata N-gain berkriteria tinggi (79,17%) untuk indikator kognitif C2; dan indikator kognitif C4 berkriteria sedang (69,02%). Dengan demikian penggunaan model PBL dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa.Kata kunci: aktivitas belajar, hasil belajar, model PBL

Abstract

This study was aimed to know the influence of using Numbered Head Together (NHT) learning model in improving student mastery of material and activity. There search design was pretest-posttest non equivalent group. Samples were VIID and VIIC, chosen by cluster random sampling. The research data were quantitative and qualitative data. The quantitative data was the N-gain data analyzed by t-test and U-test. The qualitative data was the observation sheet of learning activity, that were analyzed descriptively. The result showed that NHT learning model can improve student mastery of material with N-gain value average was 35.01. Learning activities student also improved with each percentage were team work 94.12, express the idea 74.45, present the discussion result 87.25, and ask question 88.24, and answering the question 81.37.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran tipe Numbered Head Together (NHT) terhadap aktivitas belajar dan penguasaan materi siswa. Desain penelitian pretes-postes kelompok non-ekuivalen. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIID dan VIIC, dipilih secara cluster random sampling. Data penelitian berupa data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari data N-gain yang dianalisis menggunakan uji t dan uji U. Data kualitatif diperoleh dari lembar observasi aktivitas belajar siswa yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penggunaan model pembelajaran tipe NHT dapat meningkatkan penguasaan materi siswa, dengan rata-rata nilai N-gain 35,01. Aktivitas belajar siswa meningkat; bekerja sama dalam kelompok (94,12%), mengajukan pendapat (74,45%), mempresentasikan hasil diskusi (87,25%), mengajukan pertanyaan (88,24%), dan menjawab pertanyaan (81,37).Kata kunci: aktivitas belajar, numbered head together (NHT), penguasaan materi

Abstract

Mastery of material is success rate in achievement destination and target. However the result of observation in class VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Baradatu, known that students learning outcomes is still low. This research has goal to know effectiveness  of the cooperative learning type numbered head together (nht) model to improve mastery of material and the activity of studying of the student.The design of this research is pretest-posttest non equivalent. The sample was students of class VIIID and VIIIE are selected by clusters of random sampling. The data of this research quantitative and qualitative data. Qualitative data got by average value pretest, posttest, and N-gain that analyzed statistically using uji t. Qualitative data is students learning activity, student response toward the use of NHT model that analyzed in descriptive. The result of research showed that effectiveness  of the cooperative learning type NHT to improve mastery get increasing with average value pretest (42,62); postes (80,21); dan N-gain (0,65). students activity all aspects observed in experiment class increasing that is asking aspect  (78,49%); response (79,57%); discussion (91,40%); giving opinion (76,88%), the high number supported by asking quality, response, and students opinion as the subject in growth and development in humans. In addition most of students gave positive response toward the use of  NHT model the data of question form (100%) students get excited and interested in NHT model and make students more active in discussing. Most of students (90,32%) student gave a positive response to toward the use of  NHT model. So, NHT model can  improve mastery of material and the activity of studying of the student.  Keywords: NHT model, mastery of material , activity of studying of the student, growth and development in humans.

Abstract

This study aimed to compare the effect of applying the method demonstration with practical methods to increase cognitive and affective learning outcomes of students. Design of this research was a pretest - posttest non equivalent. Samples of research were student of class VIIC and VIID  selected by cluster random sampling. The research data was quantitative data obtained from the average value of the results of the cognitive and affective aspects of learning then statistically analyzed using t-test and test U. The results showed that the practical application of methods to increase learning outcomes rather than methods of demonstration, with an average pretest score (-1.30), the value of post-test (5.29), and N-gain (8.37).  While improving student learning outcomes in the affective methods practicum occurs in all aspects of the craft aspect percentage value (82.09%); the activity (83.11%); the courtesy (78.38%), the ability to express opinions (78.72%) and the aspects of cooperation with friends (75.00%).Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan pengaruh penerapan metode demonstrasi dengan metode praktikum terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif dan afektif siswa. Desain penelitian adalah pretes-postes tak ekuivalen. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIIC dan VIID yang dipilih secara cluster random sampling. Data penelitian berupa data kuatitatif diperoleh dari nilai rata-rata hasil belajar aspek kognitif dan afektif kemudian dianalisis secara statistik menggunakan uji-t dan uji U. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada penerapan metode praktikum hasil belajar mengalami peningkatan daripada metode demonstrasi, dengan rata-rata nilai pretes (-1,30); nilai post test (5,29); dan N-gain (8,37). Sedangkan peningkatan hasil belajar afektif siswa pada metode praktikum terjadi dalam semua aspek dengan persentase pada aspek kerajinan bernilai (82,09%); keaktifan (83,11%); kesopanan (78,38%); kemampuan mengemukakan pendapat (78,72%) dan aspek bekerjasama dengan teman (75,00%).Kata kunci :  hasil belajar, metode demonstrasi, metode praktikum, penggunaan mikroskop
