Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Creative Problem Solving (CPS) berbantuan mind mapping terhadap hasil belajar IPA kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Belang pada materi sistem pencernaan pada manusia. Rancangan penelitian ini adalah quasi experimental dengan pretest posttest nonequivalent control group design pada sampel kelas VIIIA sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIIIB sebagai kelas kontrol yang terdiri dari 20 siswa. Data hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata nilai pretest kelas eksperimen yaitu 40,5 dan rata-rata nilai posttest kelas eksperimen yaitu 82 sedangkan rata-rata nilai pretest kelas kontrol yaitu 32 dan rata-rata nilai posttest kelas kontrol yaitu 71,75. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik uji-t dengan nilai thitung 207,41 dan nilai ttabel 1,685 pada taraf α=5%. Berdasarkan pada kriteria penerimaan Ha yaitu thitung>ttabel. Maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Kesimpulannya terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Creative Problem Solving (CPS) berbantuan mind mapping terhadap hasil belajar IPA kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Belang pada materi sistem pencernaan pada manusia.

Abstract

Teachers generally lack sufficient knowledge about STEM approaches, so teachers have difficulty developing STEM-based modules. Our research aims to develop a STEM-based science e-module on the human excretory system topic that is suitable for use by junior high school students. We use a type of research and development (R&D) concerning the Borg & Gall development model modified by Palilingan. Data collection techniques using interviews and questionnaires. The research instruments used interview sheets, product validation questionnaires, and product practicality questionnaires. The results showed that: (1) the validity test by learning media experts obtained a score of 98.33% and was included in the very valid category (no need for revision); (2) the validity test by subject matter experts shows a value of 99.17% and is included in the very valid category (no need for revision); and (3) limited trials in small groups show a value of 93.40% and are included in the very practical category. Based on the research that has been done, the STEM-based science e-module on the human excretory system topic that is suitable for use by junior high school students is appropriate for use by junior high school students.

Abstract

Our study aimed to develop a feasible STEM-based virtual laboratory on global warming topics for junior high school students. We used the development research type by adopting Thiagarajan's 4D model development procedure, which was limited to the development stage. The data collection methods we used were questionnaires and interviews, while the research instruments were interview sheets and questionnaires. Product validation involved a lecturer as a subject matter expert and a lecturer as a learning media expert. In addition, a small group evaluation sample with 10 students was selected using a simple random sampling technique to be involved in the product trial. Qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques were used. The results showed that the assessment by subject matter experts received a feasibility percentage of 84%, including the criteria worth using, and the assessment by learning media experts received a feasibility percentage of 85%, including the criteria worth using. In addition, the small group student response trial showed 91%, which means the developed product is very practical. Thus, the STEM-based virtual laboratory on global warming topics was declared feasible for junior high school students to use in science learning

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning< em> nbsp; CTL terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi sistem pencernaan manusia kelas VIII SMP Swadharma Mopugad Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pretest posttest control group design< em> Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Swadharma Mopugad yang terdiri dari 2 kelas Sampel dalam penelitian ini diambil dengan menggunakan random sampling < em>yaitu 1 kelas sebagai kelas kontrol dan 1 kelas sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan jumlah masing masing kelas 25 siswa Uji prasyarat menggunakan uji normalitas dan homogenitas teknik analisis data menggunakan uji t dalam pengujian tersebut diperoleh thitung< sub> = 10 70 gt; ttabel< sub> = 1 708 Kesimpulannya yaitu model CTL berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa < p>

Abstract

Virus material in high school biology often causes learning difficulties due to its abstract nature and difficulty in visualizing. This condition results in low student conceptual mastery and high potential for misconceptions. This study aims to map the pattern of student learning difficulties in the virtual material and the factors that cause it. Descriptive research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Tondano in April 2025, involving 21 grade X-1 students selected using a simple random technique. Data were collected through observation, written tests (15 multiple-choice questions and 5 essays), and questionnaires on difficulty factors covering aspects of self, family, school, and society. The test instrument was tested for validity with point-biserial correlation and reliability, KR-20, resulting in a coefficient of 0.63, indicating sufficient reliability. The results of the study showed that the average student conceptual mastery only reached 31.14, far below the Minimum Completion Criteria (70). The memory aspect (C1) was higher (34.19%) than the understanding aspect (C2) (26.45%), indicating the dominance of memorisation. A total of 47.61% of students were in the high difficulty category, while 23.8% were in the very high difficulty category. The dominant external factors came from the school environment (88%), particularly limited visual media and laboratory facilities, followed by family support (83.2%), while community influence was lower (52.2%). Internal factors such as student interest, motivation, and attention also contributed significantly.In conclusion, students' learning difficulties in viruses were dominated by weak conceptual understanding and limited learning resources. Innovative learning strategies based on visualization, interactive technology media, concept maps, and virtual laboratories are needed. Practical implications: Biology teachers need to design more contextual and visual learning experiences, utilize technology, and provide space for exploratory activities to strengthen student understanding.

Abstract

The 21st century is known as the digital age, in which teachers' and students' ability to access and utilize technology is essential. This study aims to develop feasible and practical interactive multimedia on environmental pollution topics with a STEM approach for junior high school students. The research type we use is development research using the ADDIE model. The data collection techniques used were interviews and questionnaires. The research instruments used were interview sheets and questionnaires. Quantitative and qualitative data analysis techniques were used in this study. The results showed that the validation of subject matter experts was 93%, learning media experts was 94%, and peer assessment was 94%. All three were included in the very feasible category and did not require revision. In addition, the small group evaluation obtained an average score of 4.50 with a percentage of 90%. Based on these findings, interactive multimedia on environmental pollution topics with a STEM approach for junior high school students was declared feasible and practical for science learning. The STEM-based teaching material we have successfully produced can support and answer some of today's science learning challenges.Abstrak. Abad ke-21 dikenal sebagai era digital, dimana kemampuan guru dan siswa dalam mengakses dan memanfaatkan teknologi menjadi sangat penting. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangan multimedia interaktif berbasis STEM pada topik pencemaran lingkungan untuk siswa SMP yang layak dan praktis digunakan. Jenis penelitian yang kami gunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan menggunakan model ADDIE. Teknik pengumpulan data yang kami gunakan adalah wawancara dan kuisioner. Instrumen penelitian yang kami gunakan adalah lembar wawancara dan angket. Teknik analisis data kuantitatif dan kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa validasi ahli materi pelajaran 93%, ahli media pembelajaran 94%, dan penilaian teman sejawat 94% yang mana ketiganya termasuk pada kategori sangat layak dan tidak memerlukan revisi. Selain itu, hasil penilaian siswa dalam small group evaluation memperoleh skor rata-rata 4.50 dengan persentase 90%. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, multimedia interaktif berbasis STEM pada topik pencemaran lingkungan untuk siswa SMP dinyatakan layak dan praktis dimanfaatkan dalam pembelajaran IPA. Bahan ajar berbasis STEM yang berhasil kami produksi diharapkan mendukung dan menjawab sebagian tantangan pembelajaran IPA masa kini.
