Abstract

The implementation of Islamic values in children's education is an important effort to form good character and morals from an early age. Education based on Islamic values provides a strong foundation for children to understand the concepts of kindness, honesty, discipline, and responsibility. The purpose of this study is to find out how to apply Islamic values in children's education in Al Fikh Orchard Taman Setia kindergarten, Klang, Malaysia. This research uses a qualitative method with observation, interview, and documentation data collection techniques. The results of the research on the implementation of Islamic values in children's education are learning that integrates Islamic teachings, such as the concept of monotheism, worship, noble morals, and good social relationships, will guide children in living a life in accordance with religious principles. The implementation of habituation, example, and storytelling methods at Al Fikh Orchard Kindergarten is effective in instilling Islamic values in early childhood, with support from schools and families

Abstract

Al-Qudwah Integrated Islamic Elementary School is an Islamic educational institution that has been established since 2018 and accepted its first batch in that year. This school also implements a full-day education system, which provides more time for students to study various subjects, both religious and general. The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of the full-day school education system at Al-Qudwah Integrated Islamic Elementary School, Shah Alam, the obstacles to implementing the full-day school education system at Al-Qudwah Integrated Islamic Elementary School, Shah Alam, and the opportunities and challenges of the full-day school education system at Al-Qudwah Integrated Islamic Elementary School, Shah Alam. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative research type. Qualitative research is an inquiry approach that emphasizes the search for meaning, understanding, concepts, characteristics, symptoms, symbols or descriptions of a natural phenomenon. The results of this study are developing students' academic skills and personalities based on Islamic teachings. So it is hoped that the full-day education system can realize students' moral personalities to be even better.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (IRE) plays a crucial role in shaping students’ character amidst globalization. At Darul Muhmin School in Khuan Kalong, Satun, Thailand, IRE is implemented through a structured curriculum and Islamic-based pedagogical methods. However, challenges such as limited parental involvement, poor infrastructure, and an unsupportive external environment hinder its effectiveness. Using a qualitative case study approach, this research explores the implementation of the IRE curriculum and teaching strategies. Findings indicate that the school has maximized existing resources, strengthened community participation, and provided teacher training to overcome barriers. These initiatives have led to increased parental support, better learning facilities, and greater student engagement in religious practices. The study concludes that despite external constraints, the school has effectively fostered a learning environment conducive to Islamic character development. These insights offer valuable implications for other institutions aiming to enhance the delivery of Islamic Religious Education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi peningkatan kompetensi guru dalam pemanfaatan media pembelajaran digital di MTs Muhammadiyah 15 Medan Deli, serta dampaknya terhadap efektivitas pembelajaran. Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pelatihan penggunaan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis digital dapat mengatasi rendahnya kompetensi guru, keterbatasan akses pelatihan, dan tantangan dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi ke dalam kurikulum. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumen hasil pelatihan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan pemanfaatan aplikasi Quizizz berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam mengimplementasikan media digital, yang berdampak pada peningkatan interaktivitas dan efektivitas evaluasi pembelajaran. Namun, beberapa kendala juga ditemukan, seperti kurangnya infrastruktur yang memadai dan waktu yang terbatas untuk pelatihan. Meskipun demikian, kegiatan ini terbukti efektif dalam memperkuat kompetensi guru untuk memanfaatkan teknologi dalam pembelajaran, sehingga diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di MTs Muhammadiyah 15 Medan Deli.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the quality of Tadika Al Fikh Orchard (Early Childhood Education) teachers in Islamic Religious Education learning. In the context of mental therapy, it should be done by integrating remembrance in every aspect of a person's life. This research involved the participation of Tadika Al Fikh Orchard Malysia teachers as research subjects. The results of this research show a significant increase in the personality quality of educators at Tadika Orchard Malaysia. Over time, these programs become an important part of students' lives, producing positive changes in the mental state of teachers that, in the long run, benefit individual students. The findings of this research provide practical implications in efforts to improve the quality of learning at Tadika Al Fikh Orchard Malaysia. Mental therapy efforts with remembrance for Tadika Al Fikh Orchard Malaysia teachers provide mental health for educators who in turn provide role models for Tadika Al Fikh Orchard Malaysia students. It is hoped that this research can become a basis for developing policies and programs that focus on improving teacher quality in terms of mental health.

Abstract

The ability to read the Qur'an according to the rules of tajwid is one of the obligations of a Muslim towards the Qur'an. Unfortunately, many Quranic Education Institutions still implement Quran learning programs in a traditional manner that seems stagnant, especially in the city of Medan. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Ummi method in Quranic recitation learning at the Tahfidzul Qur'an Foundation Al-Fawwaz in Medan. A qualitative method with a case study approach has been used in this research. The researcher employed in-depth interviews, observations, and document studies to address the research objectives. The study indicates that the implementation of the Ummi method in Quranic recitation learning at the Tahfidzul Qur'an Foundation Al-Fawwaz in Medan is carried out through Quran Teacher Certification with the Ummi Method, Institutional Supervision, Learning Implementation, Periodic Evaluation, and Graduation. Interestingly, based on the findings of this research, a novelty is obtained, namely an interactive communicative Quranic learning model, and classroom management strategies for learners of various ages. This study provides recommendations for future researchers to conduct research in other fields such as management or leadership at the Tahfidzul Qur'an Foundation Al-Fawwaz in Medan.

Abstract

Historically, the Jews were a people who had tried to legitimize anything that had been forbidden by Allah SWT, one of which was legitimizing usury, so it is well-known that from the past until now, the act of usury is difficult to separate. The Qur'an itself has explained in detail the stages of prohibiting usury explicitly. The Qur'an prohibits usury with the limitation of adh'āfan mudhā'afan. The main research topic of this thesis is (1) How is the prohibition of usury in the Qur'an? (2) How is the analysis of usury according to Quraish Shihab's thoughts in the Tafsir Al-Misbah?, (3) What is the sociological background of the cause of the decline of usury (Asbabul Nuzul ayat riba)? This type of research is a literature review method (library research). The results of this study are, First: The prohibition of usury in the Qur'an, scholars agree that: (a) usury is something that is prohibited because of the verses that explain the prohibition of usury. (b) the prohibition of usury in the Qur'an has relevance to the movement of the real sector in the economy, Second, Usury according to Quraish Shihab, that people who practice usury, their efforts, actions and all their circumstances will experience turmoil, their souls will not be at peace. Third, the sociological background of the reason for the decline of usury begins from the history of usury starting from the settlement of the Tsaqif tribe which is located about 75 miles southeast of Mecca, they are familiar with usury practices

Abstract

This research aims to overcome the implementation of the Qur'anic learning curriculum and identify supporting and inhibiting factors in the Qur'anic learning curriculum in al-Qudwah Malysia primary schools. This research was carried out using a qualitative research method, namely looking at the condition of natural objects and the researcher himself as an instrument by using the collection of obtained regulatory data and analysis of inductive or qualitative data. The results of the study show that the implementation of the Qur'an memorization learning curriculum has been carried out well so that students can implement it in their daily lives. With the learning of halarel, the Qur'an that has been applied in school makes students more noble, tawadhu', istqomah and stay away from reprehensible deeds.

Abstract

Indonesia possesses the world’s largest mangrove forest area, which plays a vital role in global carbon regulation and coastal ecosystem services. However, these ecosystems are under increasing threat from anthropogenic pressures such as aquaculture expansion (especially shrimp farming), agricultural land conversion, and urban infrastructure development. These activities not only reduce forest cover but also compromise the ecological functions of mangroves, particularly their role as significant carbon sinks and oxygen producers. Given that mangroves have the highest carbon storage capacity per hectare compared to other forest types, their conservation is imperative in mitigating climate change. This study aims to assess the ecological and economic functions of mangrove forests in Kurau Sub-district, Tanah Laut Regency, South Kalimantan. Specifically, it quantifies aboveground biomass, carbon stocks, oxygen output, and the economic value of CO₂ sequestration. Data were collected through stratified random sampling based on vegetation density classes obtained from NDVI imagery, categorized into sparse, moderate, and dense classes. Field measurements focused on vegetation components from saplings to mature trees. Biomass was calculated using species-specific allometric equations, carbon stock was estimated by applying standard conversion factors, and oxygen production was derived using stoichiometric ratios. Economic valuation was conducted using a market-based approach, referencing global carbon pricing standards. The findings reveal that dense vegetation areas provide the greatest ecological benefit, with biomass of 54.72 tons/ha, carbon stock of 25.72 tons/ha, and oxygen production of 68.66 tons/ha. These ecological values translate into an estimated economic benefit of IDR 1.57 billion per year, indicating potential for integrating mangrove conservation with community-based development programs.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of active learning methods in improving students' understanding of Moral Aqeedah in class XII Madrasah Aliyah Tahfizil Qur'an Medan Yayasan Islamic Center. Based on research results, the application of active learning methods through the stages of material preparation, selection of methods, media, and strategies, implementation (teacher as facilitator, discussion activities, presentations, and case studies), as well as evaluation (tests, attitude observations, projects, and authentic assessments) can increase student engagement. Students become more active in asking, arguing, and working together, as well as having a deeper understanding of the concept of Aqidah Akhlak. They can also connect the material with everyday life, so that Islamic moral values ​​can be internalized more effectively. Factors supporting the application of this method include the support of the madrasah environment, the availability of infrastructure, and the readiness of teachers. Meanwhile, the obstacles faced are time constraints, variation in students' abilities, and the habit of lecture methods that are still attached. Overall, active learning proved to be effective not only in improving students' cognitive understanding, but also in strengthening their Islamic attitudes and behaviors in accordance with the educational goals of Aqidah Akhlak.
