Abstract

Uterine leiomyoma is a benign tumor originating from the smooth muscle and fibrous tissue of the uterus, with a global prevalence of 60–75% among women of reproductive age. In 2023, 978 cases of uterine leiomyoma were recorded at Dr. Kariadi General Hospital, Semarang. The incidence of uterine leiomyoma has shown a continuous increase in morbidity and mortality rates over the years. This study aims to analyze the association between risk factors—age, obesity, parity, hormonal contraceptive use, and family history—and the occurrence of uterine leiomyoma. A case-control design was employed using secondary data, involving 70 cases and 70 controls selected through simple random sampling. Data analysis was conducted using univariate and bivariate methods with the chi-square test. The results revealed significant associations between uterine leiomyoma and age (p=0.029; OR=6.048), obesity (p=0.001; OR=3.579), and parity (p=0.037; OR=0.448). In contrast, hormonal contraceptive use (p=0.426) and family history (p=1.000) showed no association. It can be concluded that women aged 20–50 years, those with obesity, and multiparous or grand multiparous women are at higher risk of developing uterine leiomyoma. Strengthening health education and early detection among at-risk groups is recommended through health promotion, healthy dietary practices, and regular physical activity.

Abstract

Obstacles were found in the development of RME at Ngudi Waluyo Wlingi Regional Hospital, namely that there were registration form items that were not used, x-ray results sometimes did not appear resulting in doctors looking at the printed results, and there was no RME user manual. This study aims to evaluate outpatient RME using the EUCS method. This research is a quantitative descriptive study using the end-user computing satisfaction method. The total sample was 54 respondents using the Lemeshow formula. The data collection technique is by distributing questionnaires. User satisfaction analysis, namely the results of respondents' answers, is calculated for each variable, namely content, accuracy, format, timeliness, ease of use. The results are compared between expectations and the reality received by the user. Users are very satisfied if reality is greater than expectations. Users are satisfied if reality is the same as expectations. Users are dissatisfied if expectations are greater than reality. The research results showed that 38.89% of respondents were dissatisfied with content, 37.04% of respondents were dissatisfied with accuracy, 27.78% of respondents were dissatisfied with format, 29.63% of respondents were dissatisfied with timeliness, there were 42, 59% of respondents were not satisfied with ease of use. The suggestions given are for Ngudi Waluyo Wlingi Regional Hospital to review the output produced by RME, add validation warnings when input duplication occurs, develop the RME interface, and create a manual book for using RME.

Abstract

The main activity of Posyandu is to improve the health status of maternals and infants in accordance with the goals of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). However, based on the Convergence Report on the Prevention of Stunting at the Village Level against the Household Target of 1.000 HPK in 2019, Kemuning Lor Village has 8 children aged 0-23 months who are at risk of stunting (25%) and indicated stunting (37.5%). The registration and reporting health status of maternals and infants at the Posyandu Dusun Darungan, Kemuning Lor Village, Jember is still done manually, making writing difficult to read. Information technology-based E-Posyandu information systems can facilitate early detection of the risk of maternal, infant mortality and stunting. The method used to develop the E-Posyandu information system is the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with the Waterfall model. The results showed that E-Posyandu made it easier for cadres to input, report and store data on the health status of maternals, infants and toddlers, also perform early detection of maternal, infant mortality and stunting. Early detection of pregnant women with LILA less than 23.5 cm will show red colour and lack of nutrition information. Meanwhile, early detection in infants/toddlers can be seen from the Zscore TB/PB per Age in red for stunting and Zscore BB per Age in red for malnutrition. Complete data filling by cadres at the E-Posyandu is required so that early detection of maternal, infant mortality and stunting can run well.

Abstract

The inaccuracy of the disease diagnosis code is one of the problem affecting the quality of health services. Based on the preliminary result, 89 outpatient diagnosis codes in a medical record found 30 inaccuracies data from SIMPUS result of general poly at Purwoharjo Health Center. The impact of this inaccuracy has been influenced by the accuracy of disease data that resulted from making report data. The purpose of this study was to analyze the inaccuracy of disease diagnosis codes for outpatient medical records with SIMPUS at Purwoharjo Public Health Center. It was a descriptive study with observation, interviews, and documentation data collection. The object of this study was 95 outpatient medical records with simple random sampling. The result of this research was found 42% inaccuracy code of outpatient medical records with SIMPUS. The cause of these problems was the coder less careful in enforcing the disease diagnosis code because of the high workload of the coder and there’s no job description in SOP, so the advice that can be given to Purwoharo Health Center is to hold a division of tasks evenly and can be written in the SOP job description.

Abstract

Stunting is a condition where a toddler has less length or height compared to age. The prevalence of toddlers with nutritional problems is highest in East Java, namely Jember Regency with a prevalence of stunting (34.9%), wasting (12.7%) and underweight (24.1%). Kemuning Lor Village, Arjasa District, Jember Regency has quite high cases of nutritional problems among toddlers, reaching 80 toddlers, so efforts are needed to reduce these nutritional problems. The community service team has created the E-Posyandu Kelor System which must be implemented continuously by all posyandu in Kemuning Lor village to carry out early detection of stunting. Apart from that, there is a need for quality nutritional care to meet the nutritional needs of toddlers. This service activity took place at the Kemuning Lor village hall and was attended by health cadres from 11 posyandu in Kemuning Lor village and accompanied by the village midwife. The activities carried out include 1) training of Posyandu cadres regarding the operation of the e-Posyandu kelor, 2) assisting cadres in implementing Posyandu data recording into the e-Posyandu kelor application, and 3) training of posyandu cadres in making MP-ASI and PMT with diversification of local food ingredients. After the service activities, there was an increase skills in making MP-ASI and cadres were able to record posyandu data on the e-posyandu kelor application. Furthermore, cadres are expected to record posyandu data periodically on the e-posyandu kelor application and make quality MP-ASI/PMT to reduce the incidence of stunting
